Author Notes:

Summary: Jaune Arc was an avid gamer, a master tactician, but not a very good fighter, which was terrible since he wanted to be a Huntsman. He wasn't even decent with Crocea Mors! But one fateful day in Combat class, he found himself at a disadvantage. He discovered that his love of video games may be what he needs to improve himself as a huntsman (harem!).

This will get incredibly weird! Also, it's significantly AU because the Vytal festival will happen in their second year instead of the first.

There will be a gender-bender character here, but there will be NO slash as the central pairing!

If you managed to remove the organ that secretes the enzyme that dissolves Grimm's corpses, some of their parts are used as components for both weapons and armor or even really delicious cuisines if appropriately treated. It goes without saying they are expensive and highly demanded by High-class chefs and Blacksmiths

Chapter 2: A Gift from Jaune's Elder Sisters!

Jaune's POV: Beacon Dorms, 7:00 am, Sunday

Our story begins on a peaceful Sunday morning in the Beacon Academy Dorms. The students are sleeping in since there were no classes, the skies are clear, and the birds are- BOOM! "Birdy, NO!" An innocently cute voice shouted. "HAHAHAHAHA! Birdy went BOOM!" And an overly excited voice cheered.

…. Sigh….

The birds were chirping. Up until Nora shot them with Magnhild. Poor Ruby, she was inconsolable.

"Damn it, Nora!" I shouted from under my bed, which I fell off of, from surprise.

"Nora, please, never do that again." came from a mildly irate crimson-haired champion. Apparently, who is not a morning person, and finally, the sounds of snoring from the black with a magenta streaked haired Zen master. As he was already used to the orange-haired Valkyrie's quirks. "Why did you wake us this early anyway?"

Jaune asked as Nora was, quite literally, shaking Ren awake. Upon waking up, Ren said, "I had a weird dream. I was a director of a web series about team RWBY, and Jaune helped me write the episodes. Everyone was also made with a lot of small polygons that made my head hurt. It was going great until I died, and the series lost focus on volume three onwards. Then I woke up." Ren said in a voice that says identity crisis and regret.

Everyone, including team RWBY. Who came by to see why Nora murdered the poor birds looked at him strangely. Nora then interjected while pointing at something in the corner of the room. "Anyway, there was a package delivery earlier! I was going to tell everyone after I get some more sleep. But the darn birds keep waking me up!"

'That and I wanted to see Jaune fall off his bed again. He looks like a frightened puppy when he does that. It's kind of cute, actually.' Nora thought with a snigger.

With that said, we all looked at the package that looked a lot like a seven-foot-tall coffin covered in gift wrap with a tag taped on it curiously.

Yang commented. "Well, that package looks a little 'Cryptic.'" Everyone groaned aside from Nora, who Booed at her, and Jaune, who actually chuckled at the pun.

'He laughed at one of my puns!' Unknown to him, Yang found that endearing, even if it might just be a coincidence.

I hear Blake then say in frustration, "Let's just see who it's for." It was far too early for one of Yang's puns, and she still hasn't had her morning tea.

She then takes the tag reads. "It's for Jaune…" She said in a surprised tone, not expecting the usually light-hearted blond to own something so dark.

"Huh?" I eloquently said, checking the tag's sending address

"It's from my family! I wonder why they sent me my old bed." Jaune asked no one in particular while unwrapping the package.

The comment, however, garnered a lot of concern among his friends. Everyone's general thought was, 'Why did you sleep in a coffin?' Once the wrappings were removed. Everyone marveled at the spacious-looking black coffin with intricate gold inlays that formed a gilded pentagon with the arc symbol in the center and an acute inverted triangle below it. (it's Meier Link's Coffin from Vampire Hunter D with the Arc family Symbol in the center of the pentagon)

Seeing the curious looks, his teammates and friends were giving the coffin. "I know what you guys are thinking. Why did I use to sleep in a coffin? Well, when I was younger, I used to have a hypersensitive hearing. And well, let's just say that ear muffs and plugs didn't work, so my grandmother gave me a mostly soundproof coffin bed to let me sleep better." He said in remembrance of his dear grandmother.

'That kind of sounds like when Faunus kids first experience enhance hearing when they become four years old. But that can't be. He's human.' Blake thinks while looking at him incredulously

"I don't know why my dad wasn't OK with it, but it's nice and comfy inside. That and it's compatible with every game console ever made, and It also doubles as a PC," he said offhandedly.

His friends' reactions were varied; Nora, Yang, and surprisingly Weiss thinks the coffin/bed's gaming capabilities are fantastic. Ren and Blake are curious about the craftsmanship. Simultaneously, Ruby and Pyrrha wondered if it would be comfortable to sleep with Jaune inside it. Seeing the funny faces my friends are making, I wonder what they're thinking about?

"Why is it so fancy? It looks like something an Atlas nobleman would be buried in." Blake asked while the others nodded.

"What games do you have?" Weiss whispered.

Jaune took on a thinking pose. "I think it's because my grandmother was into gothic Atlas antiques and stuff. As for games, I have Folklore I-III, BlackSpirit I-III along with its sister game Grimmborne, The Ancient Tomes Online with all the DLCs, Kaervania: Lords of Shadows I and II, The Hexer III: The Wild Hunt, Middle-Remnant Shadows of the Grimmlands, Godhood: Original sin 2 and GrimmBlood - The Masquerade: Redemption and Bloodlines 1 and 2 there are more, but those are the games I play the most." Jaune responded while he bashfully rubs the back of his head.

Blake seemed satisfied with the answer while Weiss blushed, embarrassed that Jaune heard her. Although she was impressed at the selection of games he had, she used to play a lot of the games mentioned with Winter before her father found out and sold her game consoles.

She especially loved The Hexer III, Godhood: OS2, and the Grimmblood: The Masquerade-Redemption for their stories. She would have bought them out of her pocket money, but she didn't know where to buy them here in Vale, and the only games Yang has, are Fighting Games with no stories 'I wonder if Jaune will let me play with them later.'

"Well, what are you waiting for? Open it up!" I hear Nora shout excitedly.

Wanting to see what games I had inside. After opening it, I saw three boxes and an envelope in the coffin. I opened up the letter and began to read it out loud.

"Dear Jaune, grandma said that you'll need this thing again this year because she said you will experience something soon that will make your senses overclock again."

"How would she know that?" Ruby asked me while tilting her head to the side.

"Grandma used to say she has a "superpower," or most likely her Semblance is the ability to see snippets of the future that has to do with her and her blood. One time, grandma saw the lottery's winning numbers because she saw me see it in the news five weeks before it happened. She won 10,000,000 Lien because of that." I explained

"Your Grandma's Semblance is bullshit!" Yang said to me with a face that says, I'm so done with this.

"I know."

"You know how her visions are. By the way, grandpa's really pissed you stole Crocea Mors, but he understands why you did it since dad did the same thing."

I paled a little at that bit. 'I'll send it back tomorrow!' I thought in a panic.

"Any way Noire and I decided to update your armor since you're probably wearing dad's old hand me downs so you can stop embarrassing us! :D."

"Hey, It's not my fault! It was the only available armor my size at home that wasn't a girl's! STOP LAUGHING!" I complained and shouted the last part at Nora and Yang, who are Laughing at the thought of me in women's armor.

And no, I did not pout at the sniggering of Ruby and my partner no matter what they say!

"By the way, Saphron said that you helped Terra give her the best anniversary dinner at that restaurant you used to work on five months ago. So She upgraded your coffins computer system she also left a message in it with the specs :3 Our four darling little sister sends their love to their adorkable big bro! With love Artoria."

Attached to the letter was the latest picture of all eight siblings and their parents together. That was quickly snatched by Nora to show everybody.

"Wow, your dad's pullout game is horrible. eight girls and two boys, that's unbelievable!" Nora said to me. Everybody had a somewhat uniform reaction to that as well.

"Yeah. My mom wanted a big family couple with Arc virility and endurance, and you get a family of eight siblings!" I then point to the two eldest people in the picture, a young blond man that looks like an older buffer Jaune with an Ironman goatee and a woman with white-haired and red eyes that looks to be about 18-years-old. "These are my parents Artorias and Ciaran Arc!"

The dumbfounded looks of my friends were GLORIOUS! Even Blake and Ren looked poleaxed at his parent's apparent agelessness.

"You're lying. There's no way those two are old enough to have kids our age, let alone that many kids, you Dolt!" Weiss accused me while scoffing.

"Well, you see, Arcs have a really long lifespan. My grandparents are 150-years old, and they look like they're Just about to reach 40." Everyone looked at me like I had grown a second head. Ruby then looked it up on her scroll.

"Due to our Auras being so huge and the feedback it has when we um…. get intimate with our significant others…. it keeps our lovers young as well. Especially after child baring…" I explained awkwardly to them with a red face.

"He's not lying, guys! Look! Man, dad said that aura lengthens the prime of Hunters by a lot, but he never said anything about extending our lifespan by that much." Ruby exclaimed, a little surprised while showing an article about my family's apparent immortality in Dust-net.

"Wait, you mean to tell me that any girl that does the naughtys with you will be young forever?" Nora said in her usual excited tone. Causing all the girls and Ren to blush like tomatoes. "And from our training sessions, you can go on forever. Pyrrha's a lucky girl!" 'though I wouldn't mind having a piece of that!' Nora thought in secret.

Unknown to Jaune, Pyrrha (Who was now in la-la-land with a bloody nose) and every girl in the room had started making some bizarre plans for him.

"OK, MOVING ON!" I said, trying to get out of this awkward topic. I then opened one of the boxes and saw the new armor's chest piece. The next box contained the rest of the armor set, and the last box has what looks to be a black box with a note that says 'connect scroll here to update soft/hardware.'

"We'll look at my new gear later. For now, let just play something!" I then turned on my scroll, then connected it and the rest of our scrolls to the black box, and once it said 100%, I turned on the coffin with my scroll now acting as the interface.

Or at least that was what was supposed to happen. Instead, a pale woman with silver eyes and hair wearing a dark Atlassian Maid outfit appeared suddenly before us, and though she seems human. The ball-jointed knuckles of her fingers tell a different story.

"Is That-" Weiss was cut off from her barely hidden bewilderment.

With a hauntingly, soothing voice, she spoke.

"Hello, good Hunter. I am a Plain Doll, and I will be your guide in the Hunters dream."

Author Note: I was going to cut here, but I'll try to squeeze some more content since I love you guys.

Various POV:

"What… Who… are you?" Jaune asked the woman, Doll, Puppet thing?

"I am Plain Doll, and all will be revealed in this letter. It is from your sister, good hunter," she said while handing Jaune a letter, her voice like smooth silk. When he touched it, it felt like paper, and at the same time, it doesn't feel like paper in a way he could not describe.

"Hey Jaune, I guess you're wondering why there's a girl in your coffin and how she got there, right? Well, you see, remember the promise I made to you a few years ago about finding someone to help you with the housework? I finally did it! Or at least I made a Holographic maid/trainer made of Hard-light."

That explains why the letter feels off.

"By the way, thanks for teaching me how to make textures and meshes on Auto-Dust it helped me make this marvel. The Hard-Light Attendant System! It's a state-of-the-art Huntsman grade quality of life assistant. It can do all housework for you and do basic maintenance on your equipment-"

"Wait, you mean to tell me that holo-maid here will be doing all your chores from now on?!" Yang Shouted at Jaune.

"It is what I was made for, yes." The Maid Marionette helpfully supplied.

Pyrrha and Nora felt very happy about not relying on the boys to clean up for them. For all her talent as a champion. Pyrrha can set water on fire while trying to make instant ramen. And Nora tried using grenades to clean their room.

Nora Cheered so loudly that Ren was afraid that she'll start smashing things from happiness, and the look of abject Jealousy on team RWBY's face was scary; honestly, Jaune wasn't sure which scared him the more.

"-think of it as payback for all the times you had to do all our chores and having to be our dress-up Doll. :D She is capable of learning but not creative thinking as she is a program, but she has a lot of memory, one of the few machines with a Processor Equivalent to an Atlas Super-Computer with 32 Terabytes, :D, of RAM.

She also has a three Zeta byte Atlassian Command Module SSD and inbuilt Micro-transmitter/receiver powerful enough to connect to the CCT from halfway across the continent!"

"That's a lot of military-grade Atlas tech! How in Remnant did your sister get those!?" Weiss shouted in apprehension at the technology leak her country has.

"Probably when we went scavenging in the Atlas Frontier expedition sites where loads of military hardware get discarded after getting damaged fighting Grimm," Jaune commented offhandedly.

"Her hard-light constructs are also hyper-realistic, and she can make almost anything! From tools for repairs and housework to actual 'living' beings for practice fights, so long as she has a template, she can make them."

"Jaune-Jaune, when your sister starts selling these, she'll be filthy rich!" Nora exclaimed excitedly as she watches the marionette cook pancakes from the ingredients from their mini-fridge and pantry box.

"Arc, if you could get your sister to work for me, I will pay you five-million Lien." Weiss said with a straight face. Which made everyone look at her funny.

"She is also connected to my next gift for you. 'The Dream Arc,' which is the game and console to end all consoles! Forget about VR sets and their clunky controllers and headgear. This console, computer hybrid, is capable of integrating into your dreams and manipulating it to play your favorite games!"

Everyone was amazed; this could revolutionize the way gaming will be played from now on! Nora and Rubes looked excited to try it out, and Weiss…

"Ten-Million Lien, plus another five-million if you get one for me." She must be Joking. There's no way she's really going to spend that much in one go, right?

"It can slow down the time inside The Dream. The most it can do is make an hour outside a month inside, and since you can download anything in there, it's perfect for cramming before a big test!"

"That's AMAZING! Jaune, we can totally goof off to the last day and have literal months in The Dream to cram for the test!" Nora exclaimed.

"Jaune, you wouldn't mind letting my team use the dream next week, would you?" Ruby said with her cutest/deadliest puppy-dog pout, with her big, soulful, silver eyes looking straight into his soul.

Of course, Jaune was used to these looks from his sisters, but even he has to admit Rube's cuteness is hard to resist. That was until her whole team joined in. "Of Course, Crater Face, it can be our team-building exercise."

"Last but not least, you can play the game 'The Hunter's Dream.' which is a game that is a build your own adventure hub that incorporates parts of your favorite games into the ultimate gaming experience. Imagine the potions of The Hexer, The Immersiveness of The Ancient Tomes, and The Combat Realism of BlackSpirit and Kingdom Come- Deliverance.

All that, coupled with the 'Hand of Fate' system. Which is just a fancy term for the Dungeon Master, an AI system that can create exciting worlds and compelling stories on the fly. From fantasy settings to Sci-fi, this system has it all! And no two playthroughs are the same. And if you want, you can just let it use stories from games already downloaded."

Weiss looked really intrigued. She was already making plans to play Vacou: Sea of Thieves or even Sanus: Banner lords! 'I'm sure arc would let me borrow The Dream dongle for a day or two.' As she was about to suggest a game

"Jaune, that sounds AWESOME! Let's play, Grimm-Out 4: New Vacou!" Ruby yells excitedly at the prospect of playing her favorite post-apocalyptic RPG 'all those weapon mods!'

"No way, Rubes! We're playing Iron Fist: 9!" shouted her Bombshell of a sister. 'I can't wait to fight the Mishima's!'

"Hey, I wanted to play Just Because 4: Reloaded. I've been waiting for a chance to actually do those stunts in person!" Nora loudly claimed her cheery dominance. This made Ren lose all color, and then he tries to control the incoming storm.

"If I may suggest, the system allows for the games, as mentioned before, to be integrated in a way that allows all of you to have all the parts of the games you enjoy into the new custom game's lore." The Doll suggested politely to the bickering teens.

"Guys, there's more!" Jaune said to the others.

And this is all thanks to all the times you helped me with my classwork. Not to mention, when you got a part-time job as a masseuse so you could fund my thesis in my fourth year at Atlas U. As such, you own 30% of Cotta-Arc Technologies CAT. With Terra and I holding 40%. We're looking for funding, so if you have any rich friends, please give our offer to them. DO NOT SELL TO THE SDC! They stole our design for the nextgen hard light projector!

With love Big Sis Saph, Adrian and Terra."

"WOW! Jauney, your set for life!" Nora exclaimed at me. She then turns to Pyrrha and says "You should buy the remaining 20% that way, you don't have to worry about retirement, and when you and Jaune partner up you'll be the majority shareholder!"

Pyrrha blushed for some reason, and she was starting to lose focus in her eyes. "I can't believe my dad was so blind that he ruined an excellent opportunity to get AT LEAST five times richer," Weiss said with absolute embarrassment.

The girls got the beds; Ruby, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Yang shared two beds, Blake and Nora had one each, while Ren used one of our sleeping bags on the floor, and I used my coffin bed.

The maid said that The Dream will send out an inaudible noise that will make us fall asleep through our earpieces and that the noise will last until we logout.

Once we were laid down, we immediately fall asleep, and we get this feeling of being thrown forward into the darkness. Then a portal appears in front of us, and it then spits us out into an Atlassian-style mansion on top of a hill with a garden of white lilies and headstones.

Weiss's POV:

"Hey, this looks just like The Hunter's Workshop from Grimmborne!" I said in awe. I then look around and found everyone looking at me strangely.

"Whose your favorite boss?" Jaune said with his usual dopy endearing smile

"… Lady Maria …" I told them in a whisper.

"She was a great warrior that fought with elegance, and if you ask the lab patients, she was also kind and caring to them," I said honestly with a gentle smile on my face.

"She even looks a bit like my sister. Fighting her gives me a nostalgic feeling of the time when Winter would spar with me on her off days." 'and all the times she raged quit on this level of the game, hehe.' I laughed inwardly, thinking of my sister's composed face crack into a snarling rage about the first five times she died to her double. 'I think she even Threw her saber at the TV when she lost five consecutive times? If it weren't for our online friend ArcKnight she would still be stick there.'

"Rakuyo is even similar to my sister's Saber and parrying dagger weapon set."

Little did I know that two years ago, Winter was approached by FromSoftware to ask her if they can use her face for both The Doll and Lady Maria, also to have her do the motion capture of her fighting style for the boss fight of the later.

"Which reminds me." I said, turning to The Doll.

"Why do you look like The Ordinary Marionette from GrimmBorne? Although you sound different." Aside from her voice and attire, she looks almost like a carbon copy of The Marionette.

"According to my maker, she made me look like the character the young master wrote as 'my waifu' in his diary." Jaune immediately blushes at this.

"My voice is also based on Selena from the Dawnguardian DLC of The Ancient Tomes V: Rim of the Sky." voice actress, according to the good hunter, has a very sexy voice-" The Plain Doll said in her demure voice. This is kind of (Very) awkward because I actually voiced Selena in secret under the name Laura Snowlily.

What makes this even more embarrassing is that I used what I would call my morning lover voice. You know the voice you have in the morning when you are all relaxed, and your voice sounds like it came from the bottom of a well? Imagine talking to your spouse to say sweet nothings to them with that voice, and you get the idea.

"-and my speech pattern is a mix of the FlameTender and The Ordinary Marionette." The Doll

And with that, they started playing an AI-generated story called Pirates of Atlas: of Whores and Misty Shores! the setting is in an alternate history during the age of conquest Piracy was rampant. It was a mix of The Hexer III and Pirates of Vacou with every conceivable realism!

Our game characters were based on our current real-life equipment with minor tweaks to fit the theme, and both teams decided that we'll join different ships to improve each team's synergy. We pillaged many Royalist Galleons as Jaune, and I became captains of our ships, The Queen Glynda's Revenge and The Flying Valeman.

I became captain because my predecessor was a misogynistic asshat that treated all the female crew as cheap whores. Once my team found this out, we staged a bloody mutiny with Ruby leading the charge! She would have been captain, but then we realized that she had no clue how to actually command a ship. So she elected me to be the captain since I had some experience leading a ship like this. (in P.o.V.)

From what I heard, Jaune was well-liked by the crew of The Flying Valeman and was also Captain Night Beard's second in command. He became captain when their ship got ambushed on Alimango Islands "Modern-day Perla de Anima," a small group of Islands between Anima and Sanus that, according to the intel given to their captain, was riddled with gold and pearls.

Not to mention there was a rumor that there was a Breed of Fish Faunus there called locally as Serena or sirens in the common tongue. Instead of having legs, these Faunuses have fish-like tails. They mostly live in the sea and are very beautiful, they like to trade ocean goods like fish and pearls for metals, meat, vegetables and statues.

They got ambushed by the Atlassian armada, which was out for blood because Jaune apparently "seduced" the queen of Atlas, and she was going to save him from the Pirates. In truth, Jaune was just courteous to the queen, and he even took care of her and her daughter, which looks at Jaune as if he were her real father, but when the queen became more amorous, Pyrrha tied Jaune up dragged him back out to sea in full view of the princess! Who then ran to mommy crying about how a mean lady kidnapped daddy!

Jaune had managed to sabotage the armada's ships and forced them to parley. He then talked to the queen and her daughter to explain what was happening, and he managed to get them to leave peacefully. But not before the queen declared him her fiancé, which nearly caused Pyrrha to use her Semblance to sink the armada to the bottom of the ocean. He even managed to hide the sirens from the bigots of Atlas and secure trading relations with them.

While that was happening, the captain fell in love with a local siren and he decided to stay on the Islands with his love. He gave his ship and crew to Jaune for his cunning and loyalty.

We (Team RWBY) then decided to do a mission on the mainland of Atlas, where apparently there was a small town under siege.

3rd Person POV

It's been three months since they started playing in the game or three hours in real life. Jaune and his team had decided to go on to different Class Quest lines, which were basically single-player campaigns to get some inspiration for their own fighting styles in real life. Ren decided to try the Serpent school of the Hexer, with Jaune and Nora trying out the Lycan and Ursa Schools, respectively. On the other hand, Pyrrha had gone for the Spartan Myrmidon Campaign, a quest line based on the Slayer's Oath: Odyssey and Corona: Combat Evolved.

Pyrrha ended up enjoying the campaign a lot at first because there was an NPC that she had come to love as her sister named Medusa. An Automaton Intelligence (Fantasy style AI) in her armor partnered to her by her instructor NPC Black J. Hero (Black Jack Hero), who looked like a bastard child of a Schnee.

Medusa looked like a pale, naked, grey ghost with intricate enchanted tattoos covering her body like a swimsuit. She has golden serpentine eyes, and her long black hair is made of snakes. They had fought together side by side since her Class training started, and they had many adventures together fighting for mother Mistral and all her colonies. She even got the rank and moniker of Master Chief Petty Officer Pyrrha of the 117 Spartan fleet. And was hailed a hero to her kingdom.

That was until they came upon Corona Island, a halo-shaped Island that wasn't on any map. They got there by accident when they were escaping a Menagerie Revenant Flagship, and its escort of frigates and a storm blew them to the Island.

At first, they thought it would make an excellent addition for Mistral's colonies, so they tried to fight off the Revenants but ended up in a stalemate. Looking for an advantage after days of no progress, the captain of the Autumn, Captain Locks, decided to scout the ruined pyramid with a team of his best soldiers. Hours later, Pyrrha had one of her gut feelings and decided to go after them.

When she got there, she saw what looks like the aftermath of a colossal skirmish between the two fleets. There was blood everywhere; broken siege weaponry and sundered armor littered the ground and halls of the pyramid. But there was something wrong.

… where were the bodies?...

She waded through the tunnels and blood-covered halls until he found one survivor, but he appears to have gone mad paranoid. He kept shooting at her with his musket, screaming about how she wasn't going to turn him into one of the monsters. 'What monsters?' Pyrrha asked. He answered by shooting himself with his own musket. He's last words were, 'You're never getting me!'

This shocked Pyrrha to the core she could barely hold her lunch from coming out. But she pressed on. They went deep into the pyramid, and they discovered that it had enchantments similar to the automatons. Medusa offered to connect with it. She played a recording of captain Locks' team fighting the Revenants in the halls and then of them resting on this very spot.

And then… it happened…

The fighting had awakened something in the caverns below the pyramid. A swarm of parasitic grimm that looked like small red and black helium inflated squids covered with white bone plates and spikes with two tentacles with red feelers in front reaching forward as they bounced along like half-inflated balloons.

They came in droves, a literal flood that swept toward the team and the arriving Revenants. At first, they were doing fine until it got hold of one of the soldiers, and it drove its tentacles into his chest. Another soldier tried to save him by pulling on its bulbous body, trying to get it to release his friend. The soldier began to mutate in a horrifying turn of events, gaining grimm-like features like claws and bone plates. The grimm then moved upwards to where the neck should be, pushing the human head back, still screaming in agony and creating a new head complete with fanged maw and a blood-red eye.

It then held the soldier who tried to help him down for the others to infect, and then the recording cuts off.

Pyrrha then hurries to save the rest of the team, fighting hordes of parasites and the infected, and along the way, they found more terminals that detailed the history of the ones who made the pyramid.

Corona Island is actually the tip of a massive mega-city called Atlantia, a super-advanced civilization made by the Forebarers that ruled the world back when the moon was still whole. They created many technological wonders that even modern Remnant would be hard press to match. One of them is space flight. Their downfall began when they experimented with life. At first, they started by creating slaves with animal features that made them better for labor in the fields, construction, and hunting for their masters.

But then they created a bioweapon from a fungus they found on the moon and the black tar from the lands of the dark god. They called it Pandora's Deluge and used it as a deterrent against the other kingdoms, and it worked. Until they discovered too late that the grimm fungus is actually sentient, and it got smarter as it devoured the minds of those infected by it.

It overran the city overnight when it escaped man, woman, child, or faunus. They all were devoured to the last, except one Atlan Didact, the king, used his Islands's superweapon that killed all life in the continent and sunk it to the bottom of the ocean. His hope that the biological components of the fungus would starve to death and kill the gestalt being, calling itself the Gravemind. Which is the overlord of the Deluge made from the corpses of his subject.

He also created another failsafe that would send his kingdom to Remnant's center should he fail, but the king died before he could.

Pyrrha found the rest of the soldiers, along with Captain Locks. They were all conjoined into a singular gestalt with Locks as the head, although he still had a bit of control. He told her to kill him and find a way to seal this place away. They must not get to the mainlands. Pyrrha then shoots the gestalt with fire dust napalm.

When she got to the control center, she found a teleporter rune-array for a quick exit, but when they got to the terminal, Medusa found out that it needs a human or an AI to operate the systems and start the self-destruct sequence.

Medusa told Pyrrha that she will stay and make sure the Deluge never escape. With all the psychological horror that has been happening and how real everything is to the senses, Pyrrha forgot this was not real and genuinely believed that she will lose her sister.

She argued to Medusa that they will go home together like they always do. Medusa then used the Hardlight hologram to hug Pyrrha tightly and kiss her on the forehead while telling her that even though she wasn't real, she was glad that Pyrrha treated her as her sister. Pyrrha hugged Medusa back and said to her that she will always be her little sister and that she'll always protect her.

Medusa replyed. "I know you would." She reluctantly let's go of Pyrrha. "You have no idea how much I've wanted to do that," she said, smiling at Pyrrha. "Armor AI remote override engage" Pyrrha Froze "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Pyrrha screamed as she began walking to the teleporter.

"We promised to always protect each other, and all this time you've been protecting me." She smiles as she starts to power up the teleporter and preparing the self-destructive sequence. "Now it's my turn to protect you." She says to Pyrrah with all the love a sibling can muster for her big sister.

"Go, Pyrrha. Go get that man of yours!" Medusa tells her, reminding her of all the times she confided in her AI companion.

"He's waiting for you on the other side-" She says to Pyrrha with tears of light cast cading down her ethereal visage. As Pyrrha silently fights her armor to save her sister in all but blood

"-and even though I'm not real…" Medusa was crying at this point. Pyrrha managed to move her right hand with all her might and Semblance to reach towards Medusa as she begins to be teleported away

"I love you, Chief, don't forget about me…" Medusa said with a tear-streaked smile as she and her sister separate for the first and last time in the previous three months.

Thanatos413: Hi guys! I love all the support everyone has given me! The next two chapters will be character development for Team JNPR and some misadventure of Team RWBY in the DreamScape. Which are stand-ins and teasers to powers and abilities that they will get.

By the way, if it wasn't obvious enough. The Spartan Myrmidon Campaign is a mix Greek myths + Mistral Pseudo-History + Halo Combat Evolve and Halo 4 epilogue. And yes Medusa is Cortana mixed with Fate series Medusa. With Pyrrha as the Master Chief.
