Meanwhile outside the church was a totally different world. A handsome young man named captain Ash came to Paris to take on the job as the new captain of Giovanni's guards but he was lost. He did have a map but it was not helping him " Wow Rapidash this place really has changed since the last time that I came here which was 10 years ago and now everything is so different than the last time I was here." Ash says annoyed as he was walking through the streets hoping someone will give him directions to the Palace of Justice. Then he spotted 2 army men who were hunting for gypsies. He tried to get their attention but they just ignored him. " Excuse me, I'm lost. I was hoping if you can show me where I can find the palace of justice" Ash asked but they didn't answer him. He realized that they were not going to help him so he just walked through the streets of Paris until he saw a group of gypsies that were dancing on the streets for coins. Ash was impressed by their performance but there was one gypsy that really caught his attention and she was a beautiful gypsy girl named Felicia who happens to be the most beautiful gypsy in all of Paris. Felicia noticed the stranger looking at her and she just gave him a smile and thought he was very handsome. But as they were playing they heard a warning sound coming from the distance. Felicia was almost out of the square until her Pikachu dropped some of her money so she ran back over to the falling coins and tried to pick them up as fast as she can but it was too late. As she was picking up her coins there was a dark shadow that was over towering her and it was the two soldiers that ignored Ash earlier.

The warning sound was to warn Felicia and the other gypsies that soldiers were coming because they work for Giovanni and he wants all of his soldiers to torture gypsies at any means necessary it does not matter if they are women, man or child if it's a gypsy they will be killed or hanged or arrested for being different. It was time for Felicia to go back to her secret hiding place. But before she was about to leave with her Pikachu she was stopped by two army men who accused her of stealing money but in reality, she wasn't but they didn't believe her, " oh right gypsy where did you get this money" The soldier asked her coldly as he tried to grab the money out of her hand but she just grab it back and said, " I earn this money from dancing for your information" she said as she looked into the soldier's eyes. Then the other soldier just grabbed the money out of her hand that was behind her and said " Gypsies don't earn money they steal it" Ash saw what was going on and felt like he needed to do something to help that girl out but then Felicia told the soldier "if anyone knows about stealing that would be you" Felicia pointed out as she was trying to punch and kick them as she was trying to reach to get the money out of the soldier's hand but he was to fast for her. " hey maybe a good stay in a jail cell will cool you down" The soldier said as he started to arrest her but then her Pikachu used an iron tail on them which caused them to let Felicia go. When she was free, Felicia and Pikachu started to run deep into the streets. Ash noticed that she went down in his direction so this gave him the chance to help her so when the guards were about to chase after her Ash used his Rapidash to block their path so that Felicia can make her escape. Then Ash told his Rapidash to sit on the man. " oh I am really sorry sir I just got this Rapidash and it is really hard to train" Ash explained to the guard who was having a hard time breathing because the pokemon was too heavy so he called to his partner to get it off of him " Can someone get this stupid pokemon off of me" the guard cried. " Not until I take care of this peasant first which I would like to see without his head on his shoulders," said the guard as he pointed his sword at Ash's neck.

Then Ash removed his jacket to reveal that he was not a peasant he was their new captain and he had a bigger sword which he took out and pointed it back at the soldier and said " Is that any way to speak to your captain" Said Ash with a smile. After the guards realized who he was they turned down their weapons and said that they were sorry and that they didn't know. Then he asked them if they can take him to the palace of justice. The guards decided to escort him to the palace of justice. Then Ash noticed a couple of coins that was left behind so he placed them in a nearby hat which was where Felicia and her Pikachu were hiding from the guards. When Felicia realize that she was safe she turned to Pikachu and said " wow that was a close one they almost got us but thanks to that man we get to go back to the court of miracles and get ready for the festival come on Pikachu but make sure we don't get spotted again and I wonder why he would help us no one in Paris would even think of helping a Gypsy out hum maybe he is a lot different then the other soldiers will anyway we better get back to the court of miracles before Brock starts to worry about us" she said as Pikachu climbed onto her shoulder As they went back home.

When Felicia got to the court of Miracles she was greeted by Brock who was very worried about her and thought that one of Giovanni's soldiers might have captured her. When he saw her he came up to her and said " Oh Felicia think goodness you made it back in time to help us get ready for the festival and where did you run off to any way you know it is not safe for us to be out there what would happen if you got captured." Brock said to her. " Don't worry Brock I was just playing some music trying to get some money you know so we can have some bread on the table" She explained to him. " will did any soldier see you and did you get caught?" he asked nervously. Felicia put her hand behind her head and said " I almost did but this nice man helped me escape from them he was very brave" she explains to him.

" hum a man helped you I wonder why he would do that will as long you were safe that is all that matters, now come on we have to get ready for the festival and we can't have the festival of fools without our greatest dancer doing her solo act, what man would even have an idea of helping a gypsy he must be very crazy to do something like that " Brock said. " don't worry Brock I will not let you down," She said as she continued to practice with the other gypsies as they were getting ready for the festival. As he was watching the other gypsies practice he couldn't help but think about the man that helped her escape because there is no one in Paris that would ever think of helping a Gypsy out unless they wanted to get hanged.

When the solder's escort Ash to the palace of justice Ash noticed Giovanni giving some of his men some orders after he gave the man his orders he turns to look at Ash who was pleased to see him. " will look who came to Paris at her time of need it's captain Ash who came home from the wars I am sure you traveled and faced many dangers to come here " Said Giovanni as he placed a hand around the man's shoulder. " reporting for duty as ordered sir," he says as he was standing tall with his arms behind his back. As he was ready to start his new job as captain of the guard.

" yes, very good captain I am sure that you will push my men to be the best soldiers that they can be and I am sure that you will not disappoint me unlike my other captain of the guard was very difficult to work with and someone like you we will need to capture these demons bring them to justice. He said as he was circling around Ash so that he can get a better look at him which was making Ash very nervous " of course sir I live to please I will train them as they were pokemon. Said Ash. " I am so glad that you came here as you can captain because will we need help to save the simple-minded people from being arrogant, come along we will talk about this outside on the balcony," Said Giovanni as he was walked outside on one of the balconies of the building that was overlooking the square and noticed a group of gypsies that were putting on another show for the crowd below. At first, Ash pretty much had no idea why he really came back home for but he did not assume and just wait for Giovanni to finish talking. " You see captain I been searching and taking care of these people that are called gypsies and I have to find a way to get rid of them once in for all and I know that there are more of them out there so our mission is to find their secret hiding place and we must kill every single one of them and make sure that gypsies are gone from Paris for good Giovanni explained. Ash was not okay with coming home so that he can harm innocent people who didn't do anything wrong and thought the one that should be stopped is the man that he is working for. " So you are telling me that I came here so I can hunt down performers and fortune-tellers," Ash asked his new leader. Ash didn't like how he was talking about gypsies like they were creatures that were sent from hell or something. Giovanni placed a hand on Ash's shoulder and said the real crime is what you see before you. We have to stop them from saving the weak from being mistaken for these gypsies and we must stop them. Said Giovanni as he and Ash looked out on the balcony. As Ash was listening to Giovanni going on about how much he hated gypsies but he there was one person that came to his mind and it was the gypsy girl that he helped in the square before he came to the palace of justice and he can't let Giovanni or his men find her or her people but he must try to help them in secret because he might lose his life if he got caught. But he will try as much as he can to try to help the gypsies from Giovanni especially that girl that he saw in the square because he knew that this is not right.  

" This is way better than the wars that you fought in the war isn't it boy now you get to save  Paris from its most dangerous threat yet and I need you to find their hiding spot which is called the court of Miracles and when we find it we will destroy the gypsies and make sure that they would never exist," said Giovanni.

I will not let you down sir I will do whatever it takes to please you " Ash said. " That is what I like to hear now, we have to go to a festival that is in the town square. Have you gotten to a  peasant festival lately? Will  Captain this will be your first job today is the festival of fools he said as he rolled his eyes because he hated the festival of fools this is the only day that nothing illegal that also includes arresting gypsies and anyone can do whatever they wanted. But they will arrest if they need to. That is what Giovanni told Ash as they were on their way out of the building and on their way to their Rapidash. Ash just said I will do my best to please you sir I will not fail you and I have not visited a festival lately sir " he said as he was following the judge of the building. " you know I like you captain we will need someone like you on my team now come along now we have work to do. He said as they got on to his Rapidash as Ash did the same and followed the judge into the square which was where the festival of fools was being held.

Hi everyone I have not worked on this story in a while will I hope that you liked my vision of the hunchback of Notre dame. I will also be making another Disney movie crossover soon and it has something to do with Pokemon and the lion king. It is going to be based on the first movie and the second movie. The next chapter of this story is going to be the festival of fools and we will see what happens in the next chapter. I am also working on some of my other stories as well like SUPER MARIO'S DAUGHTER.
