I was thinking about what the POV would be, but I thought about the plot when I was falling asleep ;)

This is something you'd need to have read the books to understand. As for the corresponding cat, read the first chapter for those details.

I couldn't fall asleep. I was really angry. Not at Ferntail, it wasn't her fault. But at Silverfur, that Riverclan mangepelt. I didn't know him, but I already hated him. Because he distracted Ferntail. How could she actually love him? They could have been caught at the gathering if someone had followed her as I had. I followed her into the forest and waited in the shadows to watch her.

I saw her sitting with her tail curled around her, flicking around her from time to time, her eyes displaying loneliness. Then I saw Silverfur coming from behind her, and I hissed. I would have been caught if Silverfur hadn't spoken at that moment to get Ferntail's attention. I stayed there for a while until I heard Ferntail say Firestar's name. Now she was spilling Thunderclan secrets to him!

I seethed and ran to break it up. I did not doubt that she loved him, but did he love her too? I strongly doubted that. He could betray her and attack Thunderclan, even if he loved her he was still loyal to his clan.

I glanced back at her. She was murmuring in her sleep and shifting uncomfortably. " Silver... " she mumbled.

I hissed softly.

I gazed at Berryfur who was inching closer to Ferntail. Why does he love her? I can't exactly blame him, Ferntail is amazing, but he must know that she doesn't love him back. He had to know that I did.

I sighed and refused to sleep at all.

I went on dawn patrol with Goldpaw, Hazeltail, and Squirrelflight.

I caught a thrush on the way and dropped it on the fresh-kill pile.

" Good catch, Petalnose. " Squirrelflight praised. It was really nice and plump. A little fat. Clearly had no chance if a cat decided to chase it.

" It was too easy. " I answered modestly.

Squirrelflight was dragged away by Brambleclaw. She shot me an apologetic look and left. Why was she sorry? She must've wanted to talk to me about something.

Brambleclaw. The deputy. I knew Ferntail wanted to be deputy. She would be a much better deputy. She had once told me that Silverfur wanted to become deputy, too. If they were to become leaders, it would be really awkward between them. Not that either of them would like Firestar or Mistystar to die. Apparently, Mistystar was Silverfur's best friend. I bet he loved Mistystar. He was just using Ferntail. I saw him following Mistystar and chatting with her after the gathering. Silverfur disgusts me. But Ferntail loves him. She's clearly mental.

Butterkit raced past me. Then she turned around to face me. " Hi, Petalnose! Catch me if you can! " she teased. She lunged forward and grabbed the vole I was about to eat, then raced off.

" Oh no, you don't! " I laughed, before running after her. As I chased her, I thought that she would be a great first apprentice. My specialty was hunting, I wasn't that great a fighter, but Butterkit was named after a Butterfly, because of her delicate appearance. She would be able to run fast, therefore hunt well. She was almost 6 moons old. I caught up to her, and shoved those thoughts out of my mind.

This chapter was pretty short... I had an idea of what to do, but I wanted to go through a couple POV's before I go back Silverfur. I am going to skip a couple months in the next chapters, and I am not going to do the new characters list, Chapter 5 has the alliegances. I told myself I wasn't going to do the Alliegances, but I will because it's really hard coming up with names all the time, so I will have a name bank. I'll just come up with it all at once. I will also use the original characters from the book, and also come up with a few of my own.
