Chapter 4: RIP Summer

Phineas and Ferb slowly followed their mom inside the house. Tears were rolling down their cheeks at a rapid pace, as they would not longer be able to make any inventions and enjoy their summer. On the flip side, Candace was chatting with all her friends, on how she just busted her brothers. She had been trying for the last few summers, and today, was the day that she was successful in her mission. She was beyond happy, that she would be able to spend the rest of her summer in peace, without her annoying brothers. Once inside, the brothers continued to beg their mom for forgiveness, but their mom would not budge. She wanted the boys to be badly punished for all the bad things they have done in the past. The boys were ready to get a punishment, and it was not a question of when they were going to get it, but how bad the punishment would be. Soon after a while, their mom told them to go up in their room, until their dad came back home. The brother slowly walked up the stairs in a slow and depressed manner. They went into their room and closed the door behind them. Both of the brothers were bored, and nothing could be done about that. Phineas looked outside the window, and saw the marvelous yellow sun, telling them to go back outside, and build amazing contraptions. All the brothers wanted to do, was to build inventions and have fun during their vacation, however all of their dreams ended abruptly.

Once their dad came home, the boys were prepared for the worst. They knew that they were going to have a bad punishment, and that their summer was going to go down the drain. Suddenly, the boys heard large heavy thumps, coming from the stairs. They knew that their dad was going to come into their room any moment. With each pound that they heard, it seemed as if their heart was thumping harder and faster. After, what seemed like an eternity, the door swung open, and their dad stood in front of them, with a infuriated face. Instantly, he started to shout at the boys, and told them their punishment. The punishment was that the boys would have to go to summer school, for the rest of summer. This statement is the last thing Phineas and Ferb wanted to hear. Which kid would rather go to school, then have fun and hang out with their friends? Once they heard this, the brothers begged for mercy, however their dad ignored them, and walked out of their room. They thought that they would only be grounded for a week, but now they were forced to go to summer school, for the whole entire summer. Later that afternoon, the boys started to pack their bags, as the bus for summer school was going to come tomorrow. Slowly by slowly, the boys started to pack their clothes, and other daily essentials that they were going to need to survive. The night before their departure to the summer school, the boys decided to devise a plan. This plan consisted of trying to make their family forget, that this event ever happened. For the rest of the night, the boys did not go to sleep, and instead were working on a contraption which would allow this to happen. Despite their efforts however, they were unable to finish the machine before they departed off for summer school. The brothers, slowly looked back at their family, with a frown on their face, and wished that this entire experience was just a dream, and a figment of their imagination, however it was reality, and now the rest of the summer for the boys was going to be boring. They slowly stepped on the bus and started walking towards the nearest open seat. While they were walking to the open seat, they also saw all of the other kids, with tears rolling down their cheeks. No one wanted to be on that bus. Soon after the bus jolted forwards and started to move down the street. Slowly by slowly, they were inching further away from their house. The bus ride to the summer school was rather boring. All the kids had frowns on their faces, and the overall atmosphere of the bus was depressed and sad. The kids just wanted to enjoy their summer, but now they were forced to go to summer school. Upon arriving at the school, the boys instantly knew they did not belong there. They needed a way out, and they were going to do anything to accomplish this.
