Jade is with the gang, her head on Beck's shoulders with a cup of coffee on her hand while his arms around her. They are by the locker beside the stairs listening to Vega about Ryder Daniels asking her out.

Ryder Daniels. The guy has black hair, green eyes and a perfect aura of a bad boy. The leather jacket, white shirt and black pants suit him well.

He also rides motorcycles. Another point for being a bad boy.

What they didn't know, Jade is close to Ryder. They have been friends for a long time but they making it a secret. No one knows that they even talk with each other. Even Beck.

His phone number isn't on her phone but he has hers. When they text each other his number is just unknown and when they are done she just deletes their conversation.

She doesn't know what her contact name on his but I'm sure he's keeping it real good.

"Ooh, he's hot" Rex replied making them look at him curiously "Stare all you want. I'm secure"

Jade wouldn't deny that Ryder isn't hot. He is but Rex saying it making it weird.

"I don't trust that Ryder guy," she said.

She doesn't trust him. He's a player. She doesn't like Tori but she doesn't want her hurt because of him.

"Well you just hate the idea of anything good happening for me"

Well, that's true but still.

"That could not be more true" she grinned at her while Tori went to her locker.

"No, I'm just saying any dude that hot and that perfect has to be hiding something" she shrugged.

Ryder has a lot of secrets.. like a lot. Under his all facade you wouldn't know if he truly cares about that person or not. He just tolerates some people, including her.

"So, I guess you think Beck's hiding something?" Andre quipped.

"Oh, he was until I found out" she looks at Beck with an unimpressed look on her face.

"What- What was I hiding?" he asks.

"That you were born in Canada" she snaps then walks away leaving them alone.

"It wasn't a secret" he clarifies and went after her.

Jade just rolled her eyes and went to her next class.

School has ended. Jade, Beck and Andre, we're just in the parking lot talking, then his smell starts to linger around them. She sees him from the corner of her eye with a girl beside him flirting with each other.

He whispers something in her ear making her squeal in happiness. The girl left leaving him just beside his motorcycle, he grabs his motorcycle gloves to put them on his hands and his helmet over his head.

But before he put it on, he glanced at her making Jade stopped breathing. He smiles and winks at her then puts the helmet over his head and leaves.

Damn.

She doesn't know how long she was staring where Ryder left off until someone shakes her arm.

"Jade" Beck calls out "Me and Andre are gonna leave now for our project. I'll lead you on your car"

"No, it's fine. I'll go by myself"

"Okay" he sighs "Be safe, I love you" he leans forward to kiss her.

"I love you too" she mumbled and smiled at him.

Jade went to her car and planning to go to Ryder's apartment.

Yeah, she's going to do it.

She starts the ignition of her car and went straight to his apartment. She hopes no one will see her coming there.

When she arrives at his apartment. She wore Beck's hoodie from the back seat so no one would see her.

Jade knocks on his door waiting for him to answer. A few minutes later, the door opened of him not wearing a shirt revealing his toned upper body and black pants.

Jade felt her mouth became dry from the sight in front of her.

"Hey Jade, are you done checking me out?" he grins at her and folded his arms together. Fuck.

"I'm not c-checking you out" she stutters.

"Sure. Well come in" he steps aside for her to come in.

Jade enters his apartment and went to sit on his couch.

"What are you doing here? You didn't tell me you're coming?"

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you"

"You should be because what if I have someone in here then we're fucked"

Jade just rolled her eyes.

"You want coffee?" he asks as he's making his coffee.

"Sure"

He puts her coffee in front of her and Ryder sits in front of her drinking his coffee.

"So, what do you want to talk about? Or you come here for something" he said cockily.

She scoffs "I didn't come here for something, I already can do that to Beck which is greater than you would do" she smiles at him making him hardened his jaw.

"I came here to talk about you and Vega"

"Why? you jealous?" he raises a brow at her.

"No. I just don't want you to hurt her"

"I thought you don't like that girl?"

"I don't. But it's not right of you hurting women when you've got what you wanted from them" she said then drinks her coffee.

"That's what I do Jade. I can't change my ways because you told me to" he shrugged and drinks his coffee as well.

"So if I ever dated you, you would do the same thing to me as well?" she asks seriously.

"You know that you are different from them Jade. I would not do that to you if we dated"

"How come I'm different from them? I'm not that special"

"You know why. I already told you about it. Don't make me repeat it" he huffed.

"You don't know how hard it is to not be jealous to that Canadian ass"

Jade didn't know what to say so she stays silent.

"I still like you, Jade. This thing we're doing right now hiding to be together even as friends are shit. It also feels like you're hiding something big from your boyfriend"

"I like you too Ryder-" she stops and looks at him straight in his forest eyes. "-but as a friend. I care about you, yes, we hide because of our reputation and all but I would never leave Beck because you said all those things to me to be with you"

Ryder looks defeated "You're truly in love with him huh?"

Jade nods "I really do" she chuckles.

"Someday whenever you two broke up, you know that I'm always here for you Jade" he sighs "I'll still wait for you"

Wow, he's such a simp for me. Jade thought.

"Just.. don't hurt Vega, okay? Do it. For me"

"Fine. I'm doing it because of you" he shakes his head and laughing. "Fuck Jade, the things you do to me"

Jade just smiled and sits up from his couch "I think I need to leave now, it's getting late"

"Be safe, West"

"Thank you" she whispered.

She puts the hood of her hoodie and went to the door ready to leave.

"Bye"

Ryder nods and opens the door for her "Don't get caught"

Jade leaves his apartment not looking back at him.
