chapter 4
Buzz and Warpnia really like each other a lot and they both knew the others feelings for them but they were wondering if they should try dating or even work up the nerve to ask the other out it was like they were scared to ask the other out like they were worried they were not meant to be together. Buzz knew his team would was going to have the next week off because they had been working so hard so he decided to ask Warpnia out on a date. "Hi Warpnia," Buzz said.
"Hello Buzz what's going on?" Warpnia asked.
"Would you like to go on date with me?" Buzz asked.
"Are you asking me out?" Warpnia asked.
"Yes," Buzz answered.
"I would love to," Warpnia said. "How does dinner at the Star Lantern sound I just love Asian food," she said.
"Me too, and after that how about a movie or shopping?" Buzz asked.
"Sounds good to me," Warpnia said.
"Friday at 6:30?" Buzz asked.
"Friday at 6:30," Warpnia said. "Then it's a date," she said.
"I agree," Buzz said.
Friday night was coming soon. "Hi Buzz what is going on?" Rocket asked.
"I'm looking for something nice to wear, I got a date with Warpnia tomorrow night," Buzz said.
"So you finally got up the nerve to ask her out, everyone at Star command knows how you feel about her," Ty said.
"Yes now I got to find something nice to wear." Buzz said. "How about this striped polo?" he asked.
"No, it will make you look fat," Rocket said.
"This Green polo?" Buzz asked.
"No, it has a stain," Ty said.
Buzz started to look through his nice clothes again. "This is too itchy," Buzz said looking at one of his sweaters. "Not to mention it's early Autumn," he said. "No this one I don't know it's a little bit loud," he said.
"How about this simple blue polo with this nice pair of pants and jacket?" Rocket said.
"That would be great Rocket," Ty said.
"Yes it's perfect thanks Rocket now I can go on the date with out worrying about much of what wear, the two of us are going to a nice Asian restaurant and then we will go either to a movie or do a little shopping," Buzz said.
"Sounds nice," Ty said.
Meanwhile Warpnia picked out a nice dress to wear for the date.
It was Friday and Buzz got ready and headed to Warpnia's apartment. "Here we are," Buzz said and he knocked on the door and Warpnia came out looking beautiful in her dress.
"Warpnia you look lovely," Buzz said.
"You look very handsome," Warpnia said.
"Thank you now let's go," Buzz said.
They headed to the restaurant and sat down. They were going to order dinner. "Okay what can I start you two off with to drink?" the waiter asked.
"Water," Buzz said.
"Water," Warpnia said.
"What would you two like to eat?" the waiter asked.
"I would like the salted crispy prawn without the shell," Warpnia said.
"I would like the chicken dumplings," Buzz said.
"Very well we will have that out to you shortly," the waiter said.
Buzz was sitting there was a little nervous. "Warpnia I really like you a lot," Buzz said. "Ever since went into High school and then academy and then becoming partners I had thing for you," he said.
"Same here, but I didn't know how to tell you," Warpnia said. "But almost everyone Star command knows how we feel about each other," she said.
"That's true I think many of them had been placing bets to see when we get together," Buzz said laughing.
"I think so too," Warpnia said.
"I remember you kissed my cheek after we defeated Zurg and the Unimind was restored it was amazing," Buzz said.
"I wanted to kiss you after all I love you and I wanted to show my affection in whatever way I could," Warpnia said. "Even though I was his prisoner for some time that didn't change my feelings for you, I am glad we could finally go out," she said.
"Me too," Buzz said.
The two of them continued to talk even as they had their dinner. They almost forgot about going out and doing something else they just talked about many things, like their siblings, parents, things they liked and didn't like. They were very close and found they had things in common and didn't have in common. The two of them were very happy.
Buzz and Warpnia soon left restaurant after paying and they were walking down the street still talking and enjoying themselves. The two of them enjoy being together. The date ended wonderfully.
"I had a wonderful time," Warpnia said.
"Me too," Buzz said. "Would you like to go out again next Friday?" he asked.
"Sure, that sounds nice," Warpnia said.
"How does a movie sound?" Buzz asked.
"A movie sounds great," Warpnia said.
After that the two of them had started dating. All of Star command heard now Buzz and Warpnia were now boyfriend and girlfriend. They were talking to each other. Warpnia and Buzz figured it must've been for betting if the Space rangers had betted on the whole thing.
Buzz and Warpnia were dating for a few months eight to be exact. Buzz really loved her and she loved him. They had been friends since Preschool and became partners at work and now they were sweet hearts. The two of them were very close.
Buzz had been saving up parts of his paycheck for a long time and was going into a jewelry store and bought a ring. He was going to ask Warpnia to marry him.
Today was a mission. "We are headed for Tangea, my father is have concerns that he thinks can be straightened out if we come," Mira said.
"Yes and it also has been a long time since we have been to Tangea Mira, it will be great to see everyone again," Fop said.
"Yes it will," Mira said kissing Fop's cheek.
The space ship landed on Tangea. "Here we are planet Tangea," Booster said.
Mira's father King Nova came out to greeted them along with Mira's older brother Tonir, and Mizi her little sister. "Good to see you again Mira and hello Fop," King Nova said. "Good to see you Buzz and team Lightyear," he said.
"It's great to see you daddy," Mira said. "What is going on?" she asked.
"I finally decided it's time for us to sign a treaty of unit with the grounders below, so we can start trading and making our planet as one." King Nova said.
"That's great father," Mira said.
"It is but many of the other Tangea's are disagreeing to it I am afraid," King Nova said.
"King Nova this crazy this treaty with the grounders is below us," one of the council said.
"I know you feel that way but we must remember we and the grounders share this planet, we are all Tangeans even though we are different and it would be good to correct the wrong of ancestors," King Nova said.
"But sir, the grounders are miserable and they maybe plotting our down fall," the same council member said.
"Now council member Coverious that is quite enough," King Nova said.
"My decision is final," King Nova said. "Now come with me Mira I want you to meet some one," he said.
They made it to the palace and there were a few of the Grounders there. "Mira this is chief Korv the leader of the grounders and his son Romac the future grounder leader and his daughter Wilsia. I hope you will get know Romac well because I hope things will go well between you two because his father hopes you two will wed one day." King Nova said.
"What?" Mira said.
"Huh?" Fop said.
"Mira it's your responsibility as the first born princess to hold up the responsibility and your brother already has his duty as future king of Tangea and I hope take seriously too," King Nova said.
Mira left for her room after that. Fop was a bit steamed about this. Mira heard knocking on the wall of her bedroom. "Who is it?" she asked.
"It's Romac," Romac said. "Can we talk?" he asked.
"Sure," Mira said and came out. "What is it?" she asked.
"You know this wedding is my father's idea nothing more or less, but I love someone else her name is Iztina and she is the greatest grounder I have ever know," Romac said.
"I love Fop Doppler," Mira said. "What are we going to do about this?" she asked.
"I don't know be straight with our parents?" Romac asked.
Then they heard something it was Wilsia and Tonir they were becoming quite close. It looks like they were in love. The wedding was soon going to happen. Tonir's coronation as future leader was going to happen soon too.
Everyone was wondering what to do. Meanwhile council member Coverious was planning on becoming king and framing the grounders. Ty, Emily and Booster overheard. "We got warn Buzz," Booster said.
"Yes let's go," Ty said.
The wedding started. "I want to do this father," Mira said.
"What do mean?" King Nova asked.
"I fell in love with someone else I am in love with Fop Doppler," Mira said.
"I too have fallen in love with someone else to, I am in love with Iztina we don't want to be forced into loveless marriage," Romac said.
"Why didn't you kids say anything?" Chief Korv asked.
"We didn't want to disappoint you all," Mira said.
"While we are on the topic of love I have fallen in love with a grounder," Tonir said. "I am in love Wislia," he said.
The Coverious appear with his followers. "I had enough I am taking over this planet and the grounders will be forced of the planet." he said.
"Coverious you traitor," King Nova said.
Then Coverious was grabbed by Ty who used power canceling handcuffs on him. "No use trying to ghost out of these, they cancel the powers of any creature they are put on, so it will cancel out your powers to ghost, and mental powers too," Ty said. "By the way Buzz, Rocket, Emily, Booster, XR and I were already on to your little plan, so I made sure I had these ready right away," he said.
"Oh craters, this is the worst," Coverious said.
Coverious was locked up in jail.
"Thank you so much Buzz Lightyear and all of you, you helped us very much now us Tangeans both races can truly live on Tangean as one like we were always meant too," King Nova said. "Mira I am sorry I almost forced you to marry one you didn't love, can you forgive me?" he asked.
"Of course I can daddy," Mira said.
"Warpnia before we go there is something I want to ask you," Buzz said.
"What?" Warpnia asked.
Buzz got down on one knew and pulled out the ring. "Warpnia will you marry me?" Buzz asked.
"Yes," Warpnia said hugging him.
"Alright Buzz," Rocket said.
"Congrats you two," Ty said.
"Alright," XR said.
"This is great," Mira said.
"I'll say," Emily said.
"This is cause for celebration," Booster said.
"This wonderful I hope you two will have a happy life together," King Nova said.
"Thank you King Nova," Buzz said.
Once back at Star command Commander Nebula and all of the space rangers heard the good news they were so happy for Buzz and Warpnia.
