Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla. On the way to Nia kiera, our heroes came to the village of Hamil. There they discover they must pass through the Kijara seafalls to get to Nia kiera. But the Rashugal armmy cought up to them, and block their path. It was thanks to a odd girl and her doll and the aid of a large man name Jiao that they were able to get away. Once they reach the seafalls there attack by a castor name Presa. But thanks to Jude quick thinking they were able to defeat her. But woke up a monster that Force Takato to reveal his power as a soul reaper. now he must tell them the truth.
Chapter 4
The next step
Takato POV: After our encounter in the Kijara seafalls, we contiue our trip to Nia kiera. "So I guess it time to come clean huh." I said. "Yes." Milla said as we stop walking. "Fine then I'm not a normal human. I am a soul reaper." I said. "Soul reaper?" Jude ask. We are the protectors of the afterlife. Were bascally spirits." I said. "Your a spirit?" He ask. I rub the back of my head. "Yes and no Jude. I'm not a full soul reaper. I am what call a Subitute soul reaper. I'm a human who gain soul reapers powers. See my mom was a soul reaper, while my father human." I said. "I got my powers when i had a near death experiance when i was a kid. I ended up in a coma for awhile, when i woke up i discover i could see all kinds of spirits. Afterword a friend of my mom train me to be a soul reaper." I said. "Strange i have never heard of soul reapers." The lord of spirits said. "That because were only need to protect the souls of humans to help them pass on. We don't get involve with natural spirits." I said.
"Protect souls from what?" Alvin ask. " There are times when a human soul remain in the living world and refuse to move on. when this happen their soul will degrade and a void will form. Evently it will consume them to the point they become a dark spirit call a Hollows. "Hollows? Jude ask. "That right they go and eat other spirits to try to fill the void in them. But there been a major drop of hollows appearing here. So can we get moving now". I said. "Yes let us be off." Milla said as we start walking again. It didn't take us long to reach Nia kiera. It was a quiet village. "So this is Nia kiera?" Jude ask. "Huh i thought it would be fancier." Alvin said. "Well i like, nice and quiet." I said. Milla soon walk to an elder. "Excuse me, where can i find Ivar?" She ask. "He went to find Lord Maxwell." he said as he look at Milla. "Lord Maxwell!" He shout shock. The man bow to her as the others villagers gather around us to do the same. "Yes i have return." Milla said. "I can't beilive you decide to speak to me i'm not wrothy." the elder said. "Guess she the real deal" Alvin said.
"Told ta." I said with a smirk. "She something allright." Jude said. "Well it not every day you get to roadtrip with a major deity." Alvin said. "Please relax, no need for formaites. Yu said Ivar isn't here." Milla ask. "Yes, but he should have return by now. Were worry about him." the elder said. "I see, he always have a temper on him. Please return to your work." She said as she turn to us. We start to walk around the village. "I need to perform the ritul to summon the 4 at my it seem my handmaid is away." she said. "You mind lending a hand?" She ask. "You mean we can help." Jude said. "I'm not extactly a relguous scoalor." Alvin said. "It nothing too hard. there are four altars around the village. Each have a Temporal stone." She said. "You want us to bring the stones to your shrine? " I ask. "That right." She said. "Why don't you ask the villagers for help?" Alvin ask. "Because uncle, the villagers call her their god. They freeze up when she around. I bet this Ivar guy is the only one she can talk to." I said.
"Am I right?" I ask Milla. "That is correct." She said. "Ah the trials of godhood." Alvin said. "We can handle it." Jude said. "Don't worry Jude, i'll explain your preditlment to the villagers after I'm done." Milla said. "Thanks." He said. "Ok let go and get the stones." I said. "Gather the stones and bring them to the shrine, it beyond the village." Milla said as she went on ahead. It didn't take us long to gather the stones. Afterward we made our way to the path behind the village. As we walk, I felt the same presense from before. It back. "Yes what ever it is, it not normal, nor does it feel like a human." Moeru Ryu said. Is it some kind of hollow? "I'm not sure, we should wait til were away from the others." He said. Good idea. We came to some wodden steps and went up. At the top we saw a large wooden building, this must be the place. We saw Milla stnding it front of it.
"In here." she said. "Is this your house?" Jude ask. "She the lord of spirits Jude, it call a shrine." I said. "Your really out in the sticks." Alvin said. "My mission is not to entertain myself, however i do spend time reading books written by humans." Milla said. At least she won't be bored. "Let perform the cereomy." She said as we went inside. Inside on the floor was a large seal with the symbols four the four great spirits on it. We carefully place the stones in the right places as Milla sat in the center. "So is this ok?" Jude ask. "Perfect thankyou." she said. She start to form the four symbols in the air. We saw pillars of light appear on the stones. So this is how the four are summon. But suddenly the stones broke apart. Milla was breathing heavy. "Lady Milla!" A voice shout as someone ran past us. He was a man a bit younger then Alvin. He has long white hair that was tie into long ponytail. His skin was dark and he wore a white long sleeve tunic and black pants. "Oh is that you Ivar?" Milla ask.
"Lady Milla i was worry sick." Ivar said as he look aroud the room. "This look likr the rite of the four advent. Wht would you perform just a ritual?" He ask. "Wait what going on here? Efreet where are you? Undine come out!" He shout. He then look at Milla. "Lady Milla what happen?" he ask. "It a long story." i said. For the next hour explainign to him about what happen to us. "I can't beilive it." He said. "So why do you think you can't summond the spirits. Are they dead or some thing?" Alvin ask. "I don't think that the case, if they die i would have felt it." I said. "Idopts a great spirit cannot die. Just like a lesser spirit, a great spirit become a spirit fossil when it passes a way. Yet it power tranfers to the next great spirit."Ivar said dramaticly. "At least that what they said, nobody ever seen it happen." Jude said. "Oh so i heard." Alvin said. "That blasphemy! Spirts are undying beings that dwells in the spirit realm. It beyond your understanding." Ivar said rudely. Man he doesn't need to be a dick about it.
"Well maybe that device capture the great spirits in stead of killing them." Jude said. "Impossible, mere human could never capture the four." Ivar said. Bet that jerk Urahara could. "Well they're not coming to their lord side, so what could it be?" I said. "If you elimainate the impossible, what ever remains however improble must be the truth." Jude said. "If you leave an egg in a box and somehow that egg should break, the cause must lie with the egg itself. Good old Howe egg principle. You really are an honor student." Alvin said as Jude smile. That he is. I look to see Ivar about to lose it. "A spirix advance enough to capture the four. When that happen i lost my power as Maxwell."Milla said as she got up and turn around. Ivar got in front of her. "Now you will leave! This is holy land, you desecrate it no longer."he said. "Well screw you too buddy." I said as he glare at me. Wroth it. "Ivar please leave as well. You can go home." Milla said. "Huh?" He said confuse. "How can i say this your annoyng."Milla said harshly. "Damn that one got to burn." Moeru Ryu said. That it did. We soon walk out. I turn to Jude.
"Well by the look of it, it gonna be awhile, Jude I'm heading into the village for a bit. Meet me when you figure out what you wanna do." I said as i walf off. it only took me an hour to reach the village. I stop at a shop to look at some wars they were selling. "They look quite cheap don't you agreed." a voice said suddenly. I jump at it. I look to see a girl next to me. She look 18 with long blue hair that was tie into a pair of long pony tails. Her eyes were an odd yellow that hold a sullen expression in them. She wore a yellow dress with a large bule coat handing off her shoulders, the sleeves were tie around her chest. Lastly she has a pir of white shoes on her feet. Where did she come from. "Shit lady you shouldn't scare people like that." I said. She smirk at me. "Jumpy your highness." she said. She know who i am. "How do you know about that?" I ask as i reach for my sword. "There are many things i know. Like how I know your seaching for the meaning of the divice you carry." She said.
I pull out the device and hold it in front of her."You know what this do you? I also bet you know about the dreams i'll been having." I said as i glare at her. "Dreams you say, at least you on the right track."She said. "Right track to what tell me damnit!"I shout. "As you are now your not ready yet. This is goodbye for now." She said as she start to leave. "Wait who are you?" Iask she stop and turn to me. "You can call me Erika." she said as she walk behind a building. "Hold it were not done yet." I said as i chase after her. but when i turn the corner she was gone What where she go? Moeru Ryu can you track her? "No she long gone. Who ever this Erika is, she isn't Normal." He said. Also she may be the key to my questions. No reason to worry about it right now. I head towrd the gate to meet up with the others. There i saw Jude and Milla. "Take it Alvin got pay and left?"I ask. "He did." Milla said.
I nod. I look at Jude. "Well Jude what the plan?" I ask. "I'm going to help Milla." He said. I sigh. "Figure you say that, guess i will too." I said. "Something wrong?" he ask. "Noting important." I said as we exit the village. It didn't take us lon to reach the seafalls. We saw Milla had a thoughtful look on her face. "What is it?" Jude ask. "I was mulling over our options, what if we can't take a boat straight to Fenmount?" she ask. "You got a point, doubt they'll let anyone into the city now after what happen." I said. "I vote against taking the land route from Auj Oule, crossing the marsh would be a pain." A voice said. We saw Alvin walking to us. "So where should we go then?" I ask. "We could head toward Sharilton from Sapstrath sea heaven." Alvin said. "What do you mean we?" Jude ask. That what i'll like to know. "That hand maid of yours offer me a little job. He wasn' too keen about his great lord going off with you.
Plus the villagers over pay me." he said. "It be stain on my professional pride if i don't give them their money wroth." he said as he shake his money pouch. Pride more like ego. "Milla chuckles. "Very well welcome back." She said. "Yeah thanks." I said. "Don't thanks me thanks Ivar and the villagers." Alvin said. "So what the plan?" he ask. "First we return to Hamil to investigate Rashugal movements." she said. "If they'll still there that is." Jude said. "I doubt that after what that big guy did." i said. "Shall we go? " Alvin ask. "Yeah let go." I said as we start to make our way back to Hamil.

We got back to Hamil where we ended up picking up a tag a long, the girl who help us out before. then our luck turn sour when we ran into a giant ape? What did i sigh up for.
