Struggled with today's themes, but I chose Future in the end (the other two were Pure and Fly Me to the Moon).
Just a quick drabble I just finished. Hope you like it as always. ^^
Day Four
Options
This shouldn't be so difficult to figure out. He had always known what he wanted to do with his life. He didn't need to choose the specifics right away either, he just had to confirm that he planned to go to university after high school.
And yet, Gohan just sat there and stared at the orientation form. It should be so simple. He already knew the answer.
He shifted his gaze to the side, to the short-haired girl two seats away from him. His heart started racing and his face heated up.
He and Videl had been dating for a few months now, and Gohan knew that he was completely in love with her. He couldn't imagine his life without her anymore, and to him she had to be a part of his future.
But was he getting ahead of himself? They were only teenagers, and they were each other's first girlfriend and boyfriend. Was it naive of him to think they would always be together? Was it weird that he was already thinking about things like… marriage, when they were only sixteen?
He flushed at that thought and bought the back of his hand over his mouth to try and hide his crimson face. His gaze dropped to the questionnaire once again.
He just needed to write down "Go to university and become a scholar". It was that simple; he didn't even have to specify what he wanted to study just yet. Wasn't that what he always wanted to do?
The hand holding his pen quivered as he read the instruction once again.
