Chapter Four: Blue's Clues ;p

"Levvvy! Have you found anything yet?" Natsu whined at the table in the library. Him, Lucy, and Gajeel had been there all night, doing their best to help Levy with whatever she needed when researching Juvia's condition, well, everyone except Happy, who had been sleeping on a pile of books the entire time.

"Stop your whining hot head and keep reading!" Gajeel glared towards Natsu.

"You wanna go Iron lungs?" Natsu snapped.

"Shut it Natsu!" Lucy gave one of her famous kicks and sent Natsu flying to the other section of the library. "We are trying our best, we're close, I can feel it!" Lucy said, determined.

"I found something!" A small voice shouted behind a mountain of books. All three perked up and ran to where Levy was reading. "See?" Lucy smirked at the Pinkett.

"What does it say shrimp?" Gajeel asked

"Hmm, well Erza was right about one thing, typical amnesia isn't the case here, it couldn't scientifically cause Juvia's fairy tail seal to disappear. So, I had Lucy look at healing spells, then we created a few mock trials of them and tested them with the samples of Juvia's magic, but found nothing. Then I thought, what if this wasn't even healing magic, but dark magic?" Natsu furrowed his brow.

"Why would someone use dark magic on Juvia to heal her?" Gajeel seemed to agree with Natsu's concern.

"Well, I was thinking about her nightmare, I mean to have the same one every night for five months, no memories besides her name and her magic, then the missing mark? That is some specifically oriented magic, so I started looking at curses, and I found a match."

"So, you know who took Juvia's memories!" Happy cheered.

"Well, not exactly." Levy flips the book so everyone can see.

"This is a book of ancient magic, predominantly found in lands quite far from here. This spell here, "The Aslanis Web" is an ancient curse used by wizards to turn other wizards into their slaves, specifically by having the power to move memories in their mind. They can erase, move around, or even fabricate anything they want so a person will do or be what they ask. Kind of like a puppet. So, if this wizard erased Juvia's memories of Fairy Tail her mark would disappear because it quote "never happened." This person can use the memories against them or even hurt them. This sounded the most plausible, so I tested Juvia's magic, and it was a match to the remnants of the curse.`` Levy said.

"So, what does this mean?" Gajeel asked.

"The book says that the curse can be reversed, and the slave set free, but only when relinquished by the wizard who placed it. The only problem is I don't have any way to know who that person could be." Lucy sighed, they were one step closer, but nowhere near close enough.

"But I may have one clue, Juvia's magic is tainted with this spell, but there is also a trail of the magic left by the wizard who placed it and I found out it's an ice wizard of some kind." Everyone looked at her in shock. "It isn't much to go on, and maybe Gray might know who this person is, but I think the best thing to do is for us to go to the location Juvia was found, maybe there are more clues or a trail there?" Everyone agreed, the needed to report to the master, quickly.

Juvia and Gray-sama walked into the guild to find it bustling with more life then yesterday. Gray made a remark it was because she returned, but Juvia simply blushed and swished the comment away. They made their way to the bar where Mira was, and she squealed the second she saw them. "Gray! You both look very well rested this morning." It was true, neither of them had any nightmares last night, it was the best sleep they'd had in months. Mira sets a drink in front of Juvia and smiles "A blueberry cafe latte. It was your favorite?" Even Mira was doing her part to help Juvia remember. Juvia smiled taking a sip and her eyes immediately lit up "This is AMAZING!"

"So, you remember it?!" Mira chimed and Juvia chimed with her "NO!" they both sighed in disappointment. "It's alright sweetie, I'm just happy you like it. Oh, and Gray?" Gray acknowledged Mira. "Master wants to see you in his office, alone if you please." behind her smile Gray knew there was a hint of urgency. He gently placed his hand on Juvia's shoulder "You wait here, okay? I'll be right back." She nodded and watched him walk away, hoping everything was okay.

The rest of his friends were already in Markovs office. "What did you find out?" he asked. "We think we might know what happened to Juvia, we can update you on the details on the train but to be absolutely sure about it we need to go back to the place she was found." Lucy explained.

"What are we waiting for then? Let's go." "Right behind you buddy!" Gray and Natsu were heading out the door when Erza grabbed them by their necks and whipped them back.

"Hey!" They shouted in unison.

"I think someone should stay here with Juvia; I don't think it's a good idea for her to come. She would be disappointed if we went and found nothing, and we need to keep her safety in mind as well." Gray agreed.

"Perfect then, Gray can stay here, and we will be back quickly!" Natsu attempted to move again but was once more yanked back by Erza. "I think you should be the one to stay Natsu."

"What? Why? Juvia and Gray are the closest, and I want to see some action." Natsu yelled, throwing fists in the air.

"I'll give you three reasons; 1.) You are one of the most passionate people in this guild and can try helping Juvia remember all the great things about Fairy Tail, 2.) If that doesn't work then your personal nature will be enough to keep her distracted and worry free, and 3.) Out of all the Dragon Slayers in this guild you get motion sick the most and we are in a hurry!" Happy giggled and flew over Natsu "She toold you!" Natsu punched him and looked defeated.

"Fine, but for the record my motion sickness is improving." Everyone rolled their eyes at him and walked out together "HEY!"

Gray hated sneaking out the back so Juvia couldn't see them leave, but Erza was right. After how upset Juvia got last night, it would be terrible for us to go and possibly find nothing. He headed with everyone to the train station, Lucy and him walking side-by-side. "Gray, how many other Ice wizards are you familiar with?" she asked. "Not many, there aren't a lot to begin with, why?" he questioned. "Just think about each of them, yah? it's just a theory Levy has." He nodded and hurried on.

An ominous being hid within the shadows, watching their every move, "This is just too easy."
