Thank you to all those who have read my stories so far. There was an update for my story Obsession yesterday and that story is about probably one or two chapters away from the end. This story is still in the process but at the moment my muse has been striking towards another story I have been writing but which I haven't started posting yet, but will do so soon. It is called 'All I wanna do is make love to you' simply because it was inspired by that song while I was on the way to work I can assure you do it is not all fluff but actually there is a lot of angst. Actually, I might start posting the story now Please tune in and leave reviews. I always love to hear what my readers think of my stories and if there are still any out there who enjoy reading stories about these two. I love Owen and Claire. They have gotten my muse going again after a couple of dry years.

I usually respond to those who leave reviews, but I can't seem to figure out from where to at the moment, something must have changed on the website, but rest assured I read all of them

Chapter 4:

It had been an early morning when they woke up the next day. Owen had been the one to wake up first, after having a nightmare, a nightmare which shook him more than he liked to admit, but Claire still laid asleep completely oblivious to what was happening. He contemplated waking her up to talk to her about it, but then he figured another round of love making would help him work past the nightmare faster and in a more pleasurable way. He didn't want to bother her with his crap. He had come so close many times during the ordeal to being eaten alive by the Indominus Rex, but each time, one way or the other he had managed to escape death and the Indominus' teeth.

He found himself staring at her as she laid asleep next to him, completely naked in the same bed, red rose petals still scattered on the sheets. It had been one hell of a night and even though he wasn't the kind of guy to wear suits and all that shit, he certainly enjoyed it but most of all he enjoyed the look on Claire's face when she walked into the room. It had definitely been all worth the hassle.

After looking at her for the longest time, as the sun had started making its way into the room, Owen found himself touching her, waking her up with an earth shattering orgasm, much to Claire's delight. Obviously she couldn't complain nor did she want to get out of bed, but with a press conference looming in a couple of hours time, with no points ready for it, Claire had to make her way out of bed and into the shower. Owen had been very tempted to join her, and Claire had even suggested it, but Owen reminded her that she needed to start working on the press conference, and that after that unless another board meeting comes up, they had the whole day to fuck each other's brains out as he put it.

They were practically staying in their room, not really mingling with anyone else. They were enjoying each other's company and wanted to get to know each other as much as possible, not to mention how they couldn't seem to keep their hands for themselves. Apart from that, Owen shouldn't have been staying in that hotel and it was only due to Claire's insistence that he was there, so Claire decided to stay away from the board members to avoid more gossip and remarks.

There was obviously the issue where guests that had either gotten hurt during the attack or relatives of someone who had ended up dead coming face to face with them. Claire was a public figure and a lot of people knew her face. They were just being cautious. They hadn't even gone to meet with Karen and the rest of the gang. She had contacted them in their hotel room and they all agreed that it would be best to stay away while they are still living in the hotels and then catch up when they were back home. This issue was weighing heavily on Owen's shoulder. He was really not comfortable and happy with this press conference.

'Why do you have to be the one to do this press conference?' Owen asked her nervously.

'Because I was the Operations Manager' Claire simply replied.

'Didn't we have someone to take care of this shit?' he asked 'A spokesperson or whatever they are called?' he asked her.

'We did, but the board asked me to handle this' she told him.

'And what you just agreed?' he asked her.

'Why is this bothering you so much?' she asked him.

'What do you mean why? Isn't it obvious Claire? You could be in danger. There are many relatives out there with someone dead or badly injured' Owen told her.

'I will be fine' she tried to assure him 'I will have security and besides I am not getting out of the hotel. The press conference is being held in the hotel's conference room and only journalists and cameramen who have tags and names on the list will be able to enter' she explained as she finished getting ready.

'And me' he told her.

'What? Owen you can't. They will not let you in' Claire tried to explain.

'Then make sure they will because I am not leaving you out of my sight' he warned her.

It was useless for Claire to try and convince him otherwise, and just like she had warned him, they stopped him from entering until she gave them the go ahead that it was fine and that she wanted him there. Security were not happy with that but neither Claire nor Owen could care any less. They were together and they were not going to let this come between them. She was the Operations Manager and she had the power to do these things and get him into the press conference room. It was not that she was scared or needed protection, but to her Owen was there for moral boost. She needed to find the courage and face everyone after everything that happened and having Owen there gave her that confidence that she needed.

During the press conference, Owen made sure to stay where he could see everyone in the audience, his eyes scanning each person for any suspicious move. One wrong move and he would have his ass thrown out. Thank God that everything had gone smoothly and around two hours later, both Owen and Claire were back in their room.

'So is this it or do you have to do more press conferences?' Owen asked her as he started removing the shoes.

'I am sure this is not the last one' she pointed out and she could hear Owen grumble from under his breath. Knowing exactly what he needed to take his mind of this, she pretended her zipper got stuck and asked him to help her out. And just like she knew it would, Owen immediately took the opportunity to have his way with her.

Laying in each other's arms once again in bed under the white comfy sheets and quilt, Claire sighed happily into his chest.

'Are you alright?' he asked her.

'Yeah…Just enjoying this moment' she replied 'I wish I had given us a chance while we were on the island' she admitted 'We would have gone for walks in the park at night, listen to the brachiosaurus sing, watch the stars, attended parties together instead of having to go to them on my own and be bored out of my mind. I am sure you would have made them more enjoyable' she told him.

'I am sure I would have, but there is no point in thinking about what could have been. How about we think what we are going to do after we leave this hotel?' he asked her.

'Oh yeah shit I haven't thought about that yet. I have nowhere to stay' she told him.

'And neither do I' Owen continued.

'Shit…What are we going to do? Well I can always ask Karen if I could stay with them…if we could stay with them. I don't think she will object' Claire told him.

'Or…we could live in a van and go on a vacation' he told her.

'What you mean like live on the road?' she asked him.

'Yeah. We could camp out near lakes and have barbeques, watch the stars at night…am I tempting you?' he asked.

'You want us to live together?' she asked him.

'Why are you so surprised? Isn't that what we are doing at the moment?' he asked her.

'Yeah but that is because we are staying in a hotel' she replied.

Owen fell silent a little and removed his arm from behind her, getting a little offended and Claire caught on that.

'Hey, I didn't say no. I was just taken by surprise that is all' she told him 'I hadn't thought about all that yet' she told him. Owen looked at her but still didn't say anything so Claire decided to take him up on his offer 'I think it would be fun to go on the road for a while. We deserve a break' she told him.

'Really?' he asked her all smiles.

'Yeah…I'm sure it would be fun…and besides, there is that second date you promised' she told him.

'Oh yeah…the one in jeans, playing pool and beers' Owen reminded her.

'Yep that will be the one' Claire confirmed with a nod 'You know…I am actually looking forward to it' she told him.

'You are?' he asked her surprised.

'I am' Claire replied with a smile and Owen couldn't help but smile even greater than he did before.

oooOOOooo

Claire had been right. It had definitely not been the last press conference and gone were the days of staying relaxed and hidden in the hotel apartment with Owen. The Board had come to the decision that Jurassic World would not reopen. A lot of damage had been done and the cost to repair would be to great not to mention the danger and almost certain impossible missions to try and bring back all the dinosaurs that were now out on the loose. They had lost a lot of the dinosaurs as well at the hands of the Indominus Rex, and to spend so much money to try and reopen with no certain guarantee that the public would want to come back and visit the park after everything that had happened would be to great to even try to reconsider. Then there was the staff issue. Would the current staff still work there? Would they want to hire new staff? Would the Operations Manager still be the same or was she so much at fault that they would have to hire someone else. She had done so well since she had been in the position, the Board wasn't really sure what to do. A lot of people had been at fault with the decision they took. Sure, Ms Dearing was partly at fault, but so was Mr Masrani and the people who entered the paddock. That was the biggest mistake. If they hadn't entered the paddock, none of this would have happened…or maybe it wouldn't have happened now. They had created a hybrid dinosaur and after the brief assessment Owen had made when he had visited with Claire, he had remarked that they had gone about it the wrong way. Obviously they couldn't have know she would be so clever to mark the wall to make them think she escaped so people would enter the paddock and all hell would break loose. How could anyone have known that?

She had at least four more press conferences scheduled not to mention the many times the investigators and officers had questioned both Claire and Owen. They had witnessed a lot so officers kept coming back to them.

Owen was called by InGen to take part in the mission that had already started before they could locate him, which would take him back to he island. He almost had no time to let Claire know that they were going to send him back to the island. Claire had been both terrified and disappointed that he would have to go. They had managed to hide away for the most part to try and find themselves amidst all this chaos and now they were getting separated with hardly any time to say a proper goodbye.

'Hey…it is not a goodbye' Owen told her as he cupped her face with both hands.

'I know…I'm just…really going to miss you' she admitted.

'Me too…more than you know' he whispered and with that he leaned in and captured her lips. Claire didn't waste anytime or could she care less who was watching them. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, as she felt Owen press her body hard against his.

'Gotta go Grady' they heard someone say, and they had no choice but the end the kiss there.

'To be continued' he told her, foreheads resting against each other, his hand caressing her cheek.

'I am holding you to that' she told him with a smile 'After all you did promise me a second date' Claire reminded him.

'As soon as I get back…I promise' he told her, looking straight in her eyes.

'Grady…now' someone yelled.

'Gotta go' he told her 'I will be in touch' he promised with one last kiss to her lips.

'You better. Be careful' she told him as she watched him walk away from her.

'Aren't I always' he replied and Claire couldn't help but laugh as she shook her head at his silliness.

That had been the last time she saw Owen Grady for what seemed like forever. It had taken five weeks to complete all the missions set by InGen and to make sure nothing was left behind, locate the dinosaurs that had been out on the loose, free the once that were still stuck in their paddocks without anything to eat and so on. If the park wasn't going to reopen then there was no need to keep the dinosaurs locked up. It had been a tough and dangerous mission but Owen had made it successfully like all the other workers on the island. This time round they had been more careful and thankfully there had been no fatalities. It was the last thing that any on the involved parties needed at this point.

It had been so hard for Owen to be back on the island and revisit all the horrors he had been through and to do it all on his own, even if he was an ex-Navy. He was still human afterall, and people he cared about had been in danger, he had been in danger so many times he lost count, and to be in danger by yourself is one thing and to be in danger with the woman he…loved, had feelings for, was another thing.

The minute he had stepped foot in Main Street all he could see was Claire with the flare in her hand, running…with the T-Rex running after her. Her falling to the ground. Dinosaurs fighting with their tails swinging over her head. He had been so terrified at that moment for her, he didn't even realize the danger he and the boys had been in until she screamed for them to run after she herself had managed to get herself to safety. He shuddered to think how that situation could have ended. Owen just wanted to get off the damn island and be back with Claire. He kept thinking of the many times they had made love at the hotel apartment, the look on her face when she walked in and found the romantic date he had manage to set up. What he would give right now to be there with her even if it means wearing that suit again. Then he recalled the promised they made to each other before he left and smiled at the thought of taking her on their second date. He just couldn't wait any longer.

He had informed her immediately when they planned to be back in Costa Rica, and thankfully Claire was still there herself. She had been given the green light to go back home, but had insisted on staying there and wait for Owen, even though she really had no idea when he was coming back or for how long that meant, but she knew that it couldn't be too long now. He had been gone for weeks, and Claire knew that the time has come for everyone to leave the island and be back.

When she had received the text from him letting her know that he was on his way back, Claire had dropped everything and went to greet him. Finding her there waiting for him when he got off the ferry had felt so good, more than he could really begin to imagine. He had literally dropped the bags on the floor and lifted her up in his arms, twirling them around as Claire crushed her lips to his, kissing him passionately.

'That's one way to welcome me back' he told her with a laugh.

'I missed you' she confessed.

'I missed you too baby' he told her, letting his fingers caress her cheek. He watched her close her eyes at the feeling of his hands on her.

'Shall we go?' she asked him.

'On that second date?' he asked her, his bag resting on the back of his shoulder.

'No silly. To my hotel room' she told him 'We have a lot of catching up to do' she told him with a wink and Owen knew exactly what kind of catching up she was referring to. She took his hand in hers and he followed.
