There was no need to enter the ruins, they would come to me and after a moment they did, all seven of them. "So long time no see huh?" I said. Lucemon replied "I'm afraid this matter will last for a very short time but let's hope not too short, we want to have some fun after all". "Why do you think you can overpower me? I can neutralize all of your powers with a sleight of a hand" I told them. amusement started to show on their faces, like they know something that I don't. It took me a moment to connect all the dots but I realized what they knew: their darkness powers are eternal but I represent the digital world balance and with every bit of it that is deleted I become less powerful. I have to finish this fast. We took positions and then it began. I targeted Daemon first because he can be fatal if his darkness powers reach critical levels. I shut him up by throwing a chain of light at him, stopping him to emit his dark energy. Next was Barbamon who foolishly targeted me with a lightning from his wand, I countered it with my own lightning and rendered his wand useless. I quickly teleported behind him and with a quick kick threw his consciousness to hell. I shot down Beelzemon and Lilithmon with a quick seal spell. Leviamon started to move towards me and I opened a gate to the seal of Beelzemon and Lilithmon and he (not the smartest of them) passed right through it. Belphemon was next, he sent a ridiculous amount of chains but I spun and flipped and dove until I was out of his range. He then started to roar and for some reason I couldn't form a shield. I fell from the sky down to the earth but not before I shot Belphemon down with some shadow blades. As I fell down I looked at where Lucemon was a moment ago, he disappeared. My powers were back and I braced my fall and started to look around and I couldn't find any of the demon lords. And then I was surrounded by 7 weird black pillars and I looked up and realized that those weren't pillars, they are Ogudomon's legs. I knew it was too late, I felt my powers fleeting and the desperation filled me. No I can't fall here for everyone who sacrificed themselves for this world, for everyone who lives in it right now and pays the price for my mistake with the shard. And then I felt a part of myself leaves my body and materializes before me, and I saw… myself wait no It's me but not me, it was Lucemon falldown mode no not falldown mode harmonious mode I could feel he is in balance he was without the scar and the look in his face was soft and comforting not sharp and condescending like Lucemon falldown mode . He said " You are no longer alone, I am here and I won't leave".
