Hello everyone. I just want to say thank you to everyone that gave positive feedback on this story. I'm amazed by how many people like this story. I didn't think that was going to happen.
Also to sorry for the wait. Please enjoy this new chapter.
"Come on Marshall, let's head home." Ryder said.
"Ryder be for we go home can I ask you something?" Marshall said.
"Sure Marshall what is it?" Ryder asked curious as to what Marshall had to ask.
"Where did that robot come from anyway?" Marshall asked curiously.
"The robot came from me Marshall." Ryder said guilty.
"So you made the robot do all that stuff, and why?" Marshall asked upset.
"Yes I did, and because it was the only to unlock your powers, and to see what you could do with your powers in a dangerous situation. I'm sorry, but it all worked out in the end." Ryder said with a half smile.
"So you made the robot start choking you! Ryder are you crazy you could of been seriously hurt!" Marshall said a little angry that Ryder would intentionally put himself in danger.
"Again it was to help you with your powers. I didn't think that the robot was going to get out of control." Ryder said in a sad voice.
"Ryder I'm not mad at you, but I would never forgive myself if something happened to you." Marshall said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Marshall I'm sorry for putting you through that. Please can you forgive me?" Ryder said
"I'll forgive you on one condition." Marshall said with a serious look in his eyes.
"O-okay what is it?" Ryder asked curiously.
"Promise me that you will never purposely make something that could hurt you again." Marshall said with serious look.
"I promise Marshall." Ryder said.
Marshall then put a huge smile on, and jump on to Ryder. Marshall then started to lick Ryder's face.
"Hehe okay Marshall you win." Ryder said happy.
Marshall then jumped off Ryder. "Ryder so what are we going to do now?" Marshall asked.
"Let's head back to the lookout, and talk to the other pups. Because I know Chase is going to be upset." Ryder said.
"It's okay Ryder, Chase and the other pups will understand that you did it to protect them." Marshall said.
Meanwhile at the Lookout Chase called the other pups to the top of the lookout to tell the other pups about what he seen when he was talking to Ryder.
"Hey Chase is something wrong?" Skye asked.
"So I called Ryder to see how things were going. I then asked him why they weren't at Katie's, but then Ryder got attacked by a robot, and then Marshall saved him with his fire powers!" Chase said.
"Oh my gosh is Ryder okay?" Skye asked concerned about their owner.
"Is Marshall okay?" Rubble asked.
"I think he's okay, but my question is how that Robot got there, and why it attacked Ryder.
"Wait so you're saying that Marshall has super powers, and how did Marshall get super powers?" Rocky asked
"Yes at least from what I saw, and now that think about it. That explains how Ryder got the two burns on his chest. It's because of Marshall's powers." Chase said.
"How come Ryder didn't tell us about Marshall's powers?" Zuma asked.
"Probably to protect us from getting hurt." Chase said.
"I guess we'll find out when Ryder gets back." Skye said.
"Guys when Ryder and Marshall get here. Let me ask the questions." Chase said.
The pups nodded in agreement.
"Sounds good, and now we wait." Rocky said.
"Ryder where are the pups?" Marshall asked seeing that the pups were not outside.
"I'm not sure Marshall. I'm going to check their pup house's. While I'm doing that, why don't you go check in side the lookout." Ryder suggested.
"Okay Ryder." Marshall said as he headed into the lookout.
Inside the lookout Marshall was looking for the pups but couldn't find them. Marshall then decided to go check the top floor. Once at the top floor Marshall could see all the pups eyeing him.
"Ryder it's Marshall I found the pups they're at the top floor of the lookout." Marshall said be for walking out of the elevator.
"I'm on my way, Good job Marshall." Ryder said.
Once Ryder reached the top floor. Ryder could see that the pups were upset and curious as to what happened.
"Ryder you need to explain as to what is going on, and why does Marshall have powers?" Chase interrogated.
"Yay and why would you not tell us about this?" Rocky asked upset.
"Take it easy on Ryder pups. I'm the one who told him not tell you guys." Marshall said defending Ryder.
"Why would you hide this from us, but most important why would you hide this from me? I thought i was your best friend." Chase said upset.
"You are my best friend Chase." Marshall said.
"It's okay Marshall I'll take it from here." Ryder said.
"Thanks Ryder." Marshall said
"I can't believe you would hide this from us." Rocky said.
"Pups enough! Yes Marshall told me not to say anything, and that's because he was afraid of what you pups would think of him. Plus too at the time he didn't know how to control his powers, and he didn't want you pups to get hurt." Ryder said.
"So how did Marshall gain what ever super power he has?" Skye asked.
"Remember when the museum was on fire, and Marshall got hurt?" Ryder asked.
"Yes." The pups said together.
"Well it turns out that one of the books that fell on Marshall had given him the power of fire." Ryder told the pups.
Ryder then told the pups what happened after he had picked up Marshall from the hospital.
"Is it because of Marshall's power that you got burned yesterday?" Rocky asked.
"Yes, but it was an accident." Ryder said.
"So what are we going to do tomorrow?" Rubble asked curiously.
"Well if you pups want too you all can help me run some more test on Marshall." Ryder said.
"Of course we are going to help." Chase said with a smile on his face.
"Okay you all can help tomorrow." Ryder said as he and the pups went down the elevator.
"Um Ryder can I talk to you for a second?" Chase asked with a sad expression on his face.
"Sure Chase. What's up?" Ryder asked as he and Chase walked outside.
"I just want to say sorry for getting mad at you earlier. I was out of line." Chase said with his head hanging down.
"Chase it's okay. You were right I should have told you guys, and for that I'm sorry. Ryder said.
"It's okay, I forgive you." Chase said as he jumped up onto Ryder to give him a hug.
"I forgive you too Chase. Come on let's go see if the other pups want to watch a movie. Ryder said hugging Chase.
"Okay!" Chase said with his tail wagging.
"Hey pups do you guy's want to watch a movie?" Ryder asked.
"Yeah let's watch the new Apollo the super pup movie." Rubble said.
"Okay I'll go turn on the big screen." Marshall said wagging his tail.
"I'll go get the popcorn." Rocky said heading for the kitchen.
"Ryder I smell something burning." Zuma said.
"Marshall what are you doing? Ryder!"Chase yelled out loud.
"Marshall." Ryder said giving him a disappointing look.
"I'm sorry Ryder it was an accident. I was just trying to get the big screen on." Marshall said with a sad look on his face.
"It's okay Marshall I can buy a new one." Ryder said with a smile.
"But how are we going to watch the movie now?" Marshall asked.
"Don't forget about the big screen at the top of the lookout. Ryder said
"Then what are we waiting for let's go." Rubble said running to the elevator.
Once Ryder and the pups were at the top of the lookout. Ryder got the movie set up and called Rocky to let him know that they were at the top floor of the lookout. Rocky then told Ryder that he was on his way up.
"Thanks Rocky." The rest of the pups said happily eating they're popcorn, and watching the movie.
"Okay pups. If you need me I'll be in the garage." Ryder said walking to the elevator.
"You're not going to watch the movie with us." Chase asked surprised.
"Sorry not to night pups I have a little bit of work to do." Ryder said.
"Don't be gone to long." Skye said.
Ryder then went down the elevator and headed for the garage. When Ryder got there he pulled out his pup pad and put Marshall's firetruck on auto pilot. After Marshall's truck drove its self to the garage. Ryder then began to update the inside of the fire truck.
"I can't wait for show Marshall tomorrow." Ryder said to himself.
Meanwhile the pups are watching the movie when Chase decided to go check on Ryder.
"Where are you going Chase?" Skye asked curiously.
"I'm just going to go check on Ryder, and see if he's done." Chase said.
"Okay don't take to long Chase part2 of the movie is about to start soon." Rubble said with his Apollo mask on.
"I won't." Chase said with a smile.
When Chase got outside he walked down to the garage to check on his owner.
"Hey Ryder are coming back to watch the movie with us? Chase asked.
"Yes I'm coming back. I just wanted to update Marshall's truck." Ryder said.
"If you don't mind me asking. What did you do?" Chase asked
"Promise you won't tell Marshall?" Ryder asked.
"I promise." Chase said.
Ryder then told Chase exactly what he updated in Marshall's fire truck.
"Wow Marshall is really going to love this! That was super nice of you Ryder." Chase said with a smile.
"I hope so too. Come on Chase let's go finish the movie with the other pups." Ryder said petting Chase on the head.
When Ryder and Chase went back to the top of the lookout. The rest of the pups were happy to see them.
"Ryder you're back just in time for the second part of the movie." Rubble said.
"Ryder what were you doing anyway?" Marshall asked wondering what his owner was doing.
"I was just cleaning up my garage." Ryder said with a smile.
After the movie ended Ryder tells the pups that it's time for bed. The pups asked Ryder if they could sleep in side the lookout. Ryder told the pups they could. Early the next morning the pups were outside asking Marshall some questions.
"So what can your powers do?" Rocky asked Marshall curiously.
"Well I can make a ring of fire around me, i can also heat up my paws to melt metal, and I can also do a fire blast if there's danger near me." Marshall explained.
"Is that all?" Chase asked.
"That's all me and Ryder were able to find out so far." Marshall said with uncertainty.
Meanwhile Ryder was in the garage getting Marshall's surprise ready. After Ryder was done he covered it up and used his ATV to pull over to the pups.
"Hey Ryder's coming, and it looks like he's pulling something this way." Skye said.
"Hey pups." Ryder said getting off his ATV.
"Hey Ryder, what do you have there?" Rocky questioned.
"It's a surprise for Marshall." Ryder said with a smile.
"For me, what is it Ryder?" Marshall asked.
Ryder then pulled off the cover and revealed that it was Marshall's fire truck, but with some big updates.
"Marshall your new fire truck is now fire proof, it can withstand extreme temperatures, and it has a built in system that is ability to detect a gas leak. Ryder said.
"Thank you so much Ryder!" Marshall said as he jumped on to Ryder giving him a hug.
"You're welcome Marshall." Ryder said.
"Is this what you were working on last night?" Rocky questioned.
"Yup, but that's not all. I also made this red super suit that has a blue flame pattern on the front and back of the legs, and this suit will help Marshall manage his power." Ryder said.
"I love it thanks Ryder. You're the best." Marshall said.
"You did a great job Ryder." Skye said with a smile.
"Thanks. Come on pups let's go get something to eat. Before we help Marshall test out his powers." Ryder said.
"Okay." All the pups said.
After the pups were done eating. They all meet Ryder outside. Once the pups were outside they saw Marshall wearing his super suit that Ryder made for him.
"Wow. Cool suit Marshall. I really like the blue flames " Chase said smiling.
"Thanks Chase." Marshall said.
"Okay Marshall you ready to start?" Ryder asked.
"I sure am Ryder." Marshall said.
"Okay Chase I want to you to trap Marshall in your net." Ryder said whispering in Chase's ear.
"Yes sir Ryder sir." Chase said.
Chase then shot his police net at Marshall. Causing Marshall to get all tangled up in it, but Marshall burned right out of it.
"Chase try hitting Marshall with your tennis ball canon." Ryder told Chase.
Chase then lunch his tennis balls at the Dalmatian, but Marshall made a fire wall which caused the balls to burn up instantly.
"Hey Marshall see if you can cook this plate popcorn." Rocky said Placing a plate full of popcorn seeds in front of him.
"Okay." Marshall said heating up the plate of popcorn seeds.
As soon as Marshall put his paws on the plate the seeds started to pop.
"Wow that was really cool Marshall." Chase said.
"I think that's enough training for today pups. Come on let's take a break."
"Hey Ryder can I keep this suit on?" Marshall asked.
"Of course you can Marshall." Ryder said petting the Dalmatian on the head.
"Thanks again Ryder." Marshall said walking away.
"Um Ryder sir can I talk to you?" Chase asked.
"Of course Chase. What is it?" Ryder asked
"How do you think we should tell Mayor Goodway?" Chase asked.
"Im not sure yet. I'll think of something tomorrow okay. How about you go play with the other pups." Ryder said.
"Okay Ryder thanks. If you need to talk just call me, or any of us okay?" Chase asked.
"I know Chase thanks." Ryder said giving Chase a hug.
