Chapter Four:

Hisashi almost missed the very familiar Force signature. Kazuki always had been excellent at shielding—back in the old days, he'd liked to tease his little brother about being too weak to spot. But even though Kazuki had hidden his presence well, Hisashi always felt an extra jolt of pain down their broken Force bond the closer he got to his brother.

He'd followed that itching wound to find Kazuki emerge from the tractor beam room on the Death Star. The Jedi startled as he laid eyes on the approaching Sith.

Hisashi smirked. "Little brother, I'm hurt that you didn't tell me you were in the area. You never write letters or holocall me. I feel like I'm the only one making an effort to keep in touch."

"Your idea of 'keeping in touch' is putting a massive bounty on my head, you crazy bastard," Kazuki screamed.

Hisashi winced and rubbed his ears. "I see your loud, nagging voice hasn't changed a bit over the years. I'm glad to see your lungs have somewhat recovered after Mustafar."

"How dare you bring that up, you—" Kazuki was interrupted by a cough.

Hisashi's eyes widened in pleasure at this sign of weakness. Kazuki immediately leapt backwards, igniting his purple blade.

"You came to return my lightsaber!" Hisashi chuckled. "How nice of you."

"Your lightsaber? I built this myself!"

"Yes, with the crystal I gave you. Now that I've decided to save you from your Jedi idiocy, I'm taking it back."

"You can't take back a gift! Especially not decades after the fact!"

"Do you think Sith care about property law? I'm stronger than you, now hand it over."

Kazuki snorted. "And I suppose after you take my weapon, you'll let me walk off your oversized flying death trap? Yeah, right."

"You'd try to walk off a spaceship? You've gotten even more foolish since we last met."

"Why are you still nitpicking my speech even after I've grown up? That's not what I meant and you know it! I have a perfectly good ship with a crew, right over there." Kazuki pointed over his shoulder.

Just slightly, Hisashi turned to look.

Kazuki sprinted past him.

Tearing down the hallway after his younger brother, Hisashi shouted, "Your cheap tricks haven't changed one bit! Shouldn't a Jedi be ashamed to be so dishonorable?"

Running even faster, Kazuki called, "Shouldn't a Sith be ashamed to be seen in that tacky skull mask?"

"This mask is not tacky! It strikes terror in hearts across the galaxy."

"What, because they're afraid you'll take it off and reveal your ugly face?"

"At least this is just a mask—you actually look like a walking corpse!"

"Yet I'm still faster! If you can't outrun an invalid, what does that say about you?" Kazuki rounded the corner and sprinted towards his ship.

Two people stood on the plank: Prince Katsuki of Alderaan and a teenage boy with green hair. Hisashi wasn't overly concerned about his royal prisoner's escape. He'd frankly be glad not to have to put up with the young senator's foul mouth any longer.

Something was strange about the other boy. Something vaguely familiar…

Shaking it aside, Hisashi reached out with the Force to snag his brother's legs. Kazuki met with his own mental push. While they grappled, Hisashi grabbed for the back of his brother's robe.

"Look out, Uncle Kazuki!" The green-haired boy fired his blaster.

Hisashi leapt backward, the gears of his mind turning at top speed. Uncle Kazuki? He suddenly realized who the boy looked like.

As the boy helped him into the ship, Kazuki mumbled, "Izuku, I'm sure I told you why you can't call me that right now."

The boy paled, his freckles standing out starkly. "Oh, dear, is that—?"

Hisashi screamed, "How dare you steal my son?"

"Son? What son?" Kazuki looked nervous. "Hey, on second thought, you can have this lightsaber back if you want it so much."

"Screw your worthless grape-flavored lightsaber! Give me back my son, you imbecile!"

As Hisashi lunged forward, Kazuki threw his lightsaber. Hisashi was forced to dodge as the door closed. The ship shot off into hyperspace.

"You won't get far! I'll hunt you across the galaxy!" Hisashi cried, ripping the metal plates off the walls with the strength of his rage.

One Stormtrooper whispered, "Should we remind him that we deliberately let the ship escape because we put a tracking device on it to lead us back to the Rebel Base?"

Another Stormtrooper whispered back, "Let him calm down a bit first. And maybe leave off the part about us letting the ship escape. Definitely don't remind him that it was his idea."

OMAKE TIME!

Omake: Katsuki Versus Leia

Leia: I don't know what you're talking about with this rebel nonsense. I am a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan.

Katsuki: Hell yes I stole the Death Star plans! We're going to slaughter ever last one of you Imperial bastards! As soon as I get free from these handcuffs, I'm going to stick my hand down your throat and rip out your asshole.

Hisashi: Whoa, you have a foul mouth. Aren't Alderaans supposed to be pacifists?

Katsuki: I'll practice pacifism by rearranging your ugly face!

#

Omake: Katsuki and Izuku Met Briefly After Birth at the Same Hospital

Baby Izuku: Ooo, I'm so happy to meet another baby for the first time! Hi, new best friend!

Baby Katsuki: Your face is stupid-looking. (Throws his rattle at Izuku.)

#They only met for a few hours as infants but Izuku considers them childhood friends #Katsuki considers Izuku an idiot (but his idiot)

#

Omake: The First Versus Obi-Wan (Aka Why Izuku Knows Who His Dad Is)

Obi-Wan: Anakin Skywalker is dead. Darth Vader killed my brother because the real Anakin never would have done such horrible things!

Kazuki: Yeah, Darth Omnus is your father and my brother. I can't say it came as a surprise when he turned into a Sith. He always was an evil bastard even back when we were children. Boy, the stories I could tell you.

#The critical difference between Obi-Wan and Kazuki is that Obi-Wan actually had convinced himself that Anakin and Darth Vader were different people #Though that doesn't excuse his lie #Kazuki is fully aware that asshole prancing around wearing a skull mask is (sadly) related to him

Author's Note: Kazuki throwing away his lightsaber to get away with Izuku is a strong indication of his priorities. "Lightsaber" Equals "Life" Is Less Than "Annoying his older brother" Is Less Than "Izuku"
