Woody walked through the basement, hoping to find Jessie and take her home before the Snowstorm arrives and snows her in. Meanwhile, Jessie was worried as all heck. For Woody, one of her was enough for him and Andy's toys, maybe Bullseye and Prospector, to handle, maybe two or four, but thousands? NO THANK YOU. And in addition, she was afraid that she might be mistaken for another one of Emily's daughter's dolls!
"Woody!" Jessie mumbled to herself, anxiously. But still, she wants to check up on Emily, so she might as well tell her "siblings" to keep out of Woody's way so he doesn't get confused with who's who! She then ran up to her Dopplegangers as she said, "Could you guys hide for a second?"
"Why?" Her copies ask.
"I belong to a kid, Andy." Jessie said. "And, long story short, Woody probably needs me to be back before the snowstorm."
"Woody?" The Dopplegangers said, curious. "Can we see him?"
"Well, I dunno..." The original said, concerned how this will turn out for either Jessie or Woody. "I don't think that's a good idea!"
"Well, what's so bad about meeting Woody?" One of the Dopplegangers said, happily.
"Jessie, what the heck is going on?!" Woody asks, sternly as he walked by. But then, he saw all the Jessie dolls, and he started to become nervous. This isn't going to end well. "Why are there Thousands of you?"
"Emily's husband got us all by accident!" The Doppleganger Jessies said.
"Wait..." Woody said, stunned. "How is this even possible?"
"It's a long story!" Jessie shouted, grabbing Woody and trying to get him to leave.
"Wait what are you doing?"
"Look, I need you to get out of here, I'll be staying here for the evening, I just need to check up on Emily before I go."
"Seriously?" Woody asks. "There's a snowstorm coming, and you're willing to be stranded in here?"
"At least it's not like I'm stuck with someone just as bad as that brat you and Buzz scared off..." Jessie said, shrugged.
"Look, I'm not gonna let you stay here just to find something that's better off being unsaid." Woody sternly said.
"I just want to be sure she's holding up after the divorce." The girl said. "Who knows what's going on with her?"
"Are you sure?" Woody asks, curious. "I mean, I could handle 2 of you, 3, but this many? I'm not sure."
"Woody!" Two Jessies said, curious. "What's it like to be played with? I bet you have fun easily!"
"It's not that complicated." Woody said, getting frustrated.
"What do you mean?" A Jessie popped out from Woody's right.
"It must be fun for you to be played with!" Another popped out from Woody's right.
"Is it Western adventures?" 2 more asks.
"Or is it up to your owner?!" 7 more ask.
Woody was getting uncomfortable with this, he's right, more than 3 Jessies, and he could go insane.
"It's almost as if none of you have been played with before!" Woody said, slightly annoyed.
"Well..." The dopplegangers replied, shy. "...some of us get playtime with Emily's daughters."
"But it's mostly because a few of us get played with more than the rest of us." A Jessie said, stroking her ponytail sadly.
"Where are these few?" Jessie asks.
"In the bedroom upstairs. Joan's room."
"Alright, then." Jessie said, curious. "Is there a quicker way upstairs?"
"Through the vents."
That made the Cowgirl toy freeze in alarm. Going into the Vents? As in...go into the dark? She's still not used to the dark after being in storage for God knows how long.
"Do you need any of us to go with you?" Her dopplegangers ask.
"I think she might." Woody cringing.
"I'll be fine..." Jessie said, walking to the vent as she and a few of her dopplegangers take the vent grate off. Two of them handed her two dart gun darts with the suction cup on them, therefore, enabling her to climb up the vents.
But as she climbed upstairs, she started to get nervous as memories of being in storage started to wash her mind like a wave washing something up to shore. All those years stuck in Storage, dealing with being cold and stuck in the dark, as if she was in some sort of solitary confinement. Nonetheless, she needed to keep going.
By the time she got to the 2nd floor she was exhausted, but a warm light at the end of a tunnel. Curious, she ran over to it, and was shocked by what she saw, the room looked like Emily's room back then. But then, she noticed something different, it has a touch of slight modernism, such as video games, novels like The Great Gatsby, Works of Shakespeare and some school books. Regardless, this felt like coming home.
"Can I help you?" A Jessie said, sternly. However, this Jessie doll looked different. She had a yellow long sleeved shirt and overalls with red pockets and a red collar.
"Oh, sorry, I just wanted to see what Joan's doing." Jessie said, shrugging.
"Well, you'll have to wait a little longer, the dear girl is out with her friends." The look-alike said as she opened the grate, letting her in as she looked around.
"Wow, it's...nice." Jessie said.
"You act like you've never been in here." The other Jessie said, confused.
"Uh...well, that's the thing, I actually used to belong to a Toy Collector and..." Jessie said, chuckling.
"Really? A Toy Collector?" The other cowgirl snidely laughed.
"...Okay, now I live with a kid," Jessie said, taking offense. "He's next door."
"So we've heard." The other Jessie said, skeptically.
She then bumped into another three Jessie dolls, again, the wardrobes are different.
One of them just had jeans on, no cow textures, just a blue jean texture on the front, and brown jean texture on the leggings in the back and in place of the yellow cloth was nothing but red.
Another had a cow texture vest on, a blue jean skirt, blue-collar and blue sleeve-ends.
And the 3rd one looked more like the original, but in place of yellow cloth, there was nothing but red cloth, and it looks like it was bedazzled in glitter, alongside the cow texture on her black leggings and her red hat was bedazzled in glitter as well.
You don't need me to tell you how surprised Jessie is.
"Wow. Those are nice outfits." Jessie said, embarrassed.
"Thank you." Both Jessies said, grinning.
The girl seemed a little confused, why do all those Jessie dolls look exactly like her, when the ones in Emily's Daughter's room look a little more fancy than them?
