The next morning

Kate was standing in front of a small group of alphas to assign duties however they were waiting for a certain set of brothers. They have been waiting for an Hour for Link and Lyle to show up but they didn't.

"Ugh where are those two idiots?"Kate asked in annoyance no one could tell for sure where rhe brothers were "Maybe they're sleeping in."Claws suggested kate was about to accept that until hutch came back "I just came from their den their not there."

Now Kate was getting concerned "where could those two run off too?" Then she started to think back and her annoyed expression came back "Oh for Fenrir's sake,Hutch Garth come with me i know where they're are."

Minutes later

The 3 alphas arrived at the door step to the Dark Forest Hutch and Garth looked at the Eerie looking forest with visible nervousness. "You think they're in there?"Garth asked "Yep they told ne they were coming her after i told them not to,those two don't know how to listen." Kate said in annoyance as she walked through the treeline.

Now Kate normally would've brought weapons to defend herself but since no normal weapons can harm Shademaker she knew it would be useless so kate figured the only smart thing to do would be to run the opposite direction should they encounter it.

The Three alphas continued walking through the forest keeping their eyes peeled for the black creature. They finally got to the place to where the black cave was and immediately saw an axe stuck against the tree nearby kate managed to pull the axe out and inspect it.

"Yep they were here alright,and judging from how damaged the area is they were attacked by something." Hutch said looking around kate knew exactly what it was "But where are they?"kate asked "They're probably dead."Garth bluntly said "if that's true Thank you Fenrir."Kate said to herself.

Kate looked up around and noticed the Cliff about 60 feet above her head "Wow that's a massive fall." Hutch was looking on the rock wall and noticed Ancient drawings. "guys over here."he said Kate and Garth went over to what hutch was looking at which was paintings that looked like a short timeline showcasing The Shademaker's years on earth.

They looked at the beginning of the Line which showed a crescent moon with what looked to be a black comet falling towards some trees "looks like It fell out of the sky one night."Garth said Then they looked to the next to see a drawing of shademaker standing over a tribe of Direwolves and battling them.

"Woah it's been here since the Direwolves,that was Thousands apon thousands of years ago."hutch pointed out Kate noticed the one after it it showcase Shademaker victorious over the Direwolves and made the black cave and the Forest it's home.

"Hmm Shademaker came here to seek refuge but the tribe of Direwolves who lived here weren't welcoming,so it decided to be more forceful and battled the Tribe claiming ownership of the forest and territory for the remaining years it's been here."kate said.

But one thing troubled Kate "but this doesn't explain where it came from."kate said garth only huffed "who cares where it came from,What i want to know what has it done with Link and Lyle."Garth asked irritated.

"I'm sure fine and it stashed them somewhere in this Forest,Come on this way."Kate said as she began leading the boys deeper into the Dark Forest.

Only a minute after they were gone the Shademaker stepped out of the black cave menacingly as it looked towards the direction the 3 alphas went to. Normally Shademaker would go after them and punish them but it had important stuff to do but it knew they'll find nothing here so it continued on it's way.

It stopped toward the edge of the forest it was sunny out which shademaker wasn't fond of being a creature of the dark it hated the light but it has a special ability to deal with that.

It stretch a hand to the sky and the once white clouds turned gray and Immediately Blocked out the sun in a blanket of gray clouds. That is exactly how Shademaker got its name it's said whenever shademaker is out in the day time it Shades the Sunny blue Sky to protect it from the light.

Satisfied Shademaker then began to make a beeline for the united tribe to carry out its mission.

Meanwhile in the United Tribe

Everyone was having fun although the sky didn't go unnoticed "Looks like it's gonna rain."a wolf said. Humphrey was standing in front of a group of omegas that included Runt,Amber and Flynn.

"Alright guys we can play one more game of hide and seek but then we head in because it looks like it's gonna rain,Ok Sophia start counting."Humphrey said Sophia a Red colored omega pup closed her eyes as everyone went off to hide. While most other pups found other places to hide Amber and Flynn had a little issue they both wanted to hide in the same spot which was a bush big enough for both of them.

"go find somewhere else to hide Amber."Flynn said trying to shove amber out but she was persistent "No you go,This is my spot." However while those two were fighting they didn't even notice the Shademaker creeping up behind them.

Sophia finished counting to a hundred and went off to find the other she went towards the bush where Amber and Flynn were hiding but they weren't there so she kept looking. After finding the other pups Sophia set out to look for Amber and Flynn but couldn't Find them anywhere which began Worrying people and that transformed into a full scale Search for them.

Amber and Flynn were not in the tribe territory at all which worried their mothers Princess and Claws "Where could they possibly be!"Claws cried as she embraced princess who was just as devastated Flint stood near by thinking who could've taken them then the realization hit him.

"King and Queen!"he exclaimed everyone looked at him in confusion "King and Queen could've taken them." Everyone took time to process that accusation then it suddenly made sense to everyone "Yeah they could've taken Flynn to spite me for leaving them and coming here!"Princess said with disgust that her own father would do this but one factor didn't click "Flynn i get but Why Amber?"Claws asked "She was no doubt with him when they taken Flynn,Come on we're gonna pay my dear parents a visit." Princess said with a snarl.

Claws and Princess took a big group of alphas with them Runt stinky and Claudette watched as they left "Dad what's going on?"Claudette asked Humphrey took a deep breath.

"Well claudette Amber and Flynn have been taken." "Flynn and Amber has be taken?!"Claudette asked in worry "Yes we believe they have been taken by King and Queen princess's evil mother and father,But don't worry the alphas will get them back."

Although Runt didn't feel exactly sure as he was extremely concerned.

Later

Princess and Claws led the charge of an army of angry alphas and as they marched into King's territory who greeted them with Queen next to him. "Terra what are you doing back here?"King asked with a scowl "Mom Dad where's my Son?!"Princess roared In fury both parents looked at their daughter in confusion and in horror.

"Your son?!"Queen exclaimed "Yes my son where is he?!" "And my daughter?!"Claws screeched Both parents ignored claws and Focused on Princess and Flint who stood next to Her "you have a son?!"King asked in complete shock "Yes he's an omega."Flint added Both Parents reeled back in disgust "You impregnated our daughter and gave birth to an abomination?!"King said with anger causing Princess and Flint to frown.

Queen then looked towards claws "I assume you're daughter is an omega as well?" "yes is that a problem?"Claws snapped "Yes a fine alpha like you shouldn't breed omegas."She retorted.

"look i don't know what's going on but We don't have your two pups here."King said.

"But wherever they are i hope they're dead,omegas don't deserve to breathe the same air as powerful alphas and we'd never be grandparents to your little mistake."Queen sneered.

Claw snarled and leaped at queen tackling her to the ground and began punching her repeatedly.

"Alphas search the territory!"Flint commanded as Alphas scrambled around looking high and low while Claws now Straddling Queen was punching her face in with her legs jerking upwards after every hit claws gave her.

A few alphas went into the King and Queen's den and Immediately found Flynn and Amber who were unconscious and badly bruised and Flynn had a broken leg."they carefully picked them up and carried them outside "We found them!"An alpha cried Claws stopped beating on queen as she stared in horror at the pups.

"they're Alive,But Flynn has a broken leg."the alpha explained Princess looked at the pups tears rolled her eyes "You poor things."

Flint glared at King who held his hands up "I didn't know they were there!" "oh shut up monster."Flint barked walking away from him Claws stared down at queen who was barely conscious with a vicious Scowl "I'll be back for round 2." She then got off of Queen and followed the group. While King help his beat up wife up.

Meanwhile

Kate,Hutch and Garth walked to the very end of the Forest and still didn't Find no trace of Link and Lyle "Fenrir where are they?" Garth shook his head "face it Kate they are dead." "I'll believe that when i see their bodies."Kate looked around and saw to her surprise she saw a small group of alphas walking towards a hill "what the?"hutch exclaimed "A tribe lives around here?,i thought this area was abandoned!"

"Apparently not."Kate said as she ran after the group with Hutch and Garth following her,after following the group for a few minutes they came to a field where they saw wolves playing and hanging out, the three alphas were completely amazed that a tribe of wolves was living right next door to the Dark Forest.

"Woah there is a tribe here?!"Hutch asked in amazement "Apparently so."kate said "I must say this tribes women are much hotter."Garth said as he looked at a couple of female wolves who were grinning at him "Excuse me."Garth said as he went over to the ladies causing kate to roll her eyes then she was approached by a tan furred male alpha wolf.

"Hello strangers the names Max."he greeted with a smile Kate was taken aback but kept her friendly composure "Um I'm Kate this hutch." Hutch waved "We're looking for two alpha wolves from our pack not too far from here named Link and Lyle."

"Follow me."Max said leading the two alphas away after a minute max led them to a tribe healers den and when they entered Kate immediately gasped at what they saw Link and Lyle laying on opposite sides of the room severely bruised and link in bandages.

"A couple of pups found them early this morning by a river nearby beaten black and blue and barley alive."Max explained Kate looked at the twins "Did they say who did this?"Kate asked.

Max swallowed hard when she asked that "yes right before they fell into unconsciousness they said one word:Shademaker."he said.

Kate stared at Max then at the twins "Oh you two idiots."She mumbled shaking her head.

"Yeah I've been meaning to ask you about something we didn't know there was a tribe living near the Dark Forest,how long have you been here?"

"How long,we never left even when The Shademaker frightened us away some of us stayed."Max said Kate stared at Max in complete suprise as the realization hit her "this is the tribe,this is the Tribe that was featured in the story."

Max hung his head and nodded as Kate continued "you guys must know more about the Shademaker I have some important questions i need to ask."

Max held up his hand as he sighed "if you have questions i rather you ask them to my wife and her sister,for they were the first in this tribe to encounter the creature."

"May i ask what their names are?"Kate asked

"Lois and Daria."Max answered.
