As Luffy continued to search the Navy Base, he walked into the room that was open due to Cospo leaving it open. He started going down the stairs to the basement. Cospo heard the footsteps and then heard that he was coming down calmly and Cospo smiled and then said, "So, did you kill that brat that defied the Navy, Lang?"

Luffy started charging down the stairs and then appeared before Cospo and said, "Yes, I did."

Cospo's jaw dropped and then all of the people started cheering and Luffy looked around and saw the people and asked, "Are you the people that disappeared from the island?"

One of the nobles answered, "Yes. I am a noble from the Goa Kingdom, Starla. You will get rewarded for saving me."

Luffy said, "The only thing I want is not going to prison when actual marines appear to arrest them and the Temte Bandits that kidnapped you."

Starla said, "As you wish."

Luffy said, "Alright. I ain't getting arrested today."

Maki smiled and then Cospo said, "Don't get cocky you little brat."

Luffy asked, "Why do you need all of these people anyway?"

Cospo answered, "To figure out a way to open up that cryopod over there. I don't know how it'll open, but if it appeared here in Foosha Village, then the people of this island must know how to open it. Yet, they don't know shit and that pisses me off."

Luffy asked, "And you call yourself a marine? You are supposed to protect the people of the village, not kidnap them and do this to the people."

Cospo laughed and then said, "Like you would understand how I feel."

Luffy asked, "Are you even marines? You don't act like one."

Cospo looked at him and then answered, "Hell no. The marines that were here are dead. We took over their titles and names just for this cryopod. It was an easy takeover. But then there was a second cryopod that we didn't even know about. Oh, that really pisses me off. The people of this island loves hiding things from us. And I thought that Temte would bring me Maki for this. But you interfered with my plans. I will make you pay for this, boy."

Luffy said, "The name is Monkey D. Luffy."

Cospo heard that and then laughed and then said, "That idiot died over a thousand years ago. Vanished right in front of the people."

Luffy said, "Well, I'm..."

The cryopod glowed and then everyone turned toward the cryopod and Cospo asked, "What is the matter?"

Luffy asked, "Why is the cryopod glowing?"

Cospo heard that and turned around and then looked at it and then said, "Impossible. After all this time, you were the key all this time. Shit. What the hell are you?"

Luffy answered, "Monkey D. Luffy. A man that plans on becoming a pirate. And..."

Cospo laughed and then asked, "Do you really think that you'll be able to become a pirate? In that skinny body of yours."

Temte appeared rolling down the stairs and then Luffy moved out of the way and Cospo saw that and yelled, "You gotta be kidding me!"

Temte yelled, "Stop me!"

Cospo growled and then he rolled into Cospo causing him to fall down. Luffy said, "You people are idiots."

Temte was against the wall and then the cryopod door started to lift itself up. Luffy continued to stare Cospo said, "You aren't one to talk."

Luffy said, "True that. I broke into a Navy Base to make sure that you didn't open the cryopod, but it seems that I opened it instead. Meaning that we both lose either way. You didn't open the cryopod and I didn't stop it from opening."

Cospo growled and then got back to his feet and Temte stood up and charged toward Luffy, but Luffy punched Temte to the ground before he got anywhere near him saying, "Gomu-Gomu no Pistol."

Temte fell on to his back instantly and Cospo went to swing at his arm with his sword, but his arm appeared back in place. Cospo growled and then the being within the cryopod opened its eyes and then looked forward and then Luffy went to swing at Cospo, but Cospo swung his sword at it, but Luffy brought his hand back and then appeared beside him saying, "Gomu-Gomu no Bullet."

Cospo heard that and then Luffy's fist flew right into Cospo's gut and Cospo coughed out blood and he flew into the wall and Temte got back up and then grabbed Cospo's sword and Luffy used 'Gomu-Gomu no Muchi' to whip him into the wall next to Cospo knocking both of them out. The being stepped out of the cryopod and then looked at Cospo and Temte and then said, "Well shit."

Heat started to appear from the body that appeared out of the cryopod and the being said, "I am Ifrit, Goddess of Fire. And you must be, who are you again?"

Luffy answered, "Monkey D. Luffy."

Ifrit said, "Hm, it seems that I really did get brought back to the past. Nice to meet you, Luffy. I am Ifrit, Goddess of Fire. One of the Immortals of the universe."

Luffy said, "Nice to meet you as well."

Ifrit snapped her fingers and then her bikini appeared on her body and then Starla asked, "Could you cool down a bit? It's hot as hell in here right now."

Ifrit smiled and said, "Sorry about that. Heat flies out when I am excited."

Starla said, "Then calm your ass down."

Ifrit laughed and then said, "My bad. My bad."

The chains and slave collars melted away and then the cell bars melted as well. Luffy saw that and then said, "Woah. That's awesome. Please join my crew."

Ifrit said, "I was planning to from the start, little one. Where to start, I wonder?"

Luffy answered, "Wherever the sea takes us."

Ifrit said, "I see. We should hurry, the marines are at the docks."

Starla said, "Have fun."

Maki smiled and then Ifrit asked, "What is in your pocket, Luffy?"

Luffy heard that and then checked out his pockets and felt the snail transponder there and took it out and said, "A baby snail transponder. What is it doing there?"

Maki answered, "Everyone uses one now a days, Luffy. It is a gift from me. And thanks to you, those people that have kidnapped the noble and the people of the Goa Kingdom will be arrested for what they did. And thank you for saving my life as well."

Luffy said, "No problem. Just helping out a friend. And a descendant of Makino. Well, see you around."

Maki said, "Make sure that you come back."

Luffy said, "Of course."

Luffy hung up and they got to the docks and saw the Navy ship there. Ifrit pointed at the rowboat and then Luffy said, "Let's go."

Ifrit and Luffy walked toward the rowboat and then the marines saw those two walking away and then the leader of the marines of the ship said, "Sir, sorry to disturb you, but have you seen a man known as Monkey D. Luffy?"

Luffy said, "I am..."

Ifrit said, "Luffy is at the marine base with the former capturees."

The leader said, "Thank you."

Luffy heard that and then they took off to the marine base. Luffy said, "But I'm right here though."

Ifrit smiled and said, "But they don't know that."

Luffy said, "Ah, I have no idea what you are trying to say. So let's get out of here."

They got on to the rowboat and Ifrit used her flames to move the ship.
