3- Reorganization.
Ash and Pikachu were inside Hot Rod, who was already going to pick up Tracey and Misty to take them back to the Autobot base. During the ride, Ash was telling his Autobot guardian some of his adventures lived on Alola.
"So, you even managed to travel to other dimensions when you were with the Ultra Guardians?" Hot Rod asked interested.
"Yes, when we were not too busy taking an Ultra Beast back to its home. Of course, not all of them were dangerous, some were just lost and others were nice, right buddy?"
"Pikachu."
"Wait until we arrive to base so everyone could listen you." Hot Rod said heading to professor Oak's lab.
Meanwhile, all the other Autobots were reconnecting with their human partners: Arcee was waiting for Serena while she was shopping in a shop of Laverre City.
"I'm here. I hope you're not waiting for me too much."
"I don't mind while you're checking things in a shop, but taking them at home is other thing. I'm your guardian Serena, not your taxi service."
"Don't worry. I already took care about sending this home."
On Twinleaf Town, Dawn was practicing her pokémon contest choreography outside her house, while Wheeljack was waiting for her to return to base.
"How long is this going to take?" The Wrecker asked bored.
"Don't rush us, Jackie. Pokémon contest exhibitions need much concentration." Dawn explained.
"You can do your circus shows at base. We have some rooms big enough for you to practice."
"Really? Why didn't you tell me before? Piplup, let's get ready!"
"Piplup." The penguin pokémon said jumping in happiness.
Wheeljack sighed relieved. "Finally."
At the same time, Sideswipe already picked up Ritchie and Sparky from their house. In Lumiose City, Bonnie already finished breakfast and was exiting her house with Dedenne in arms, finishing feeding him.
"Bye dad. And be sure I will deliver big brother his lunch." She said goodbye, right before seeing Moonracer waiting for her in the street.
In Petalburg City outsides, Warpath was standing in robot form before May and her Blaziken.
"May, are you sure about this? You must know that I'm a tough Bot, and Blaziken should at least practice with someone about Bumblebee or Arcee's size first."
"Warpath, you are one of the strongest Autobots of Team Prime. If my pokémon are supposed to battle the Decepticons very soon, what better way to practice than rumbling you?"
"Okay. Here goes nothing." Warpath warned before he charged against Blaziken, which dodged and jumped high, ready to counterattack.
While they were doing that, near to where they were, Max was inside Bee, playing with him to a race game. He was winning, but at the last moment Bumblebee pulled up in from of Max.
"(Yeah, I won. I'm the best driver on the field and in video games.)"
Max laughed. "No fair, Bumblebee. You've been driving a lot longer than I have."
Meanwhile, in the Autobot base…
"Thank goodness for peace and quiet. Houseguests can sometimes be such a distraction." Ratchet said as he took a look to his microscope.
"You have something?"
"Indeed, Clemont. It appears this substance's molecular composition is very similar to energon, but it's nature is something I've never encountered before."
Suddenly he heard a metallic clank.
"What was that?" Clemont asked.
"It might be a wild pokémon that could have sneaked inside. It happened to us while we started to settle on the base, we had to deal with a flock of Zubats until sundown. Nothing to worry about, may be a Sandshrew or a Digglet."
But next, he heard the sound of something crawling.
"Optimus? Elita?" Ratchet asked.
"Ratchet, look!" Clemont spotted.
"Ah, by the Allspark."
It was the strange creature which was before part of Ratchet's instrumental tools, which jumped right at Ratchet, planning to attack. Ratchet evaded it, but the creature tried again, only to be blocked by the Autobot and landing in an upper path. Ratchet tried to use a metal bar to smash it, but the creature dodged his attacks, and sliced his microscope.
"I needed that!"
"Luxray, come and give us a hand!" Clemont summoned pulling one of his poke balls.
The creature managed to get Ratchet cornered, but just when it was about to strike, Luxray used Wild Charge to tackle it. The electricity left the creature stunned for a while, chance that Luxray took to climb on top of it, but the creature started to move and jump wildly trying to shake him off.
"Luxray, try to immobilize it with Thunder Fang." Clemont instructed.
The pokémon attended to perform the move, but the creature managed to launch him against his trainer, leaving him trapped. And now was focused of them both.
"Clemont, no!" Ratchet yelled.
The creature jumped at them with intention to attack, but a laser shot hit it first, made by Elita One. The creature was still able to walk, so before it could recover Optimus smashed it with his foot.
"And stay broken!" Clemont exclaimed as he checked his pokémon.
"Are you okay?" Ratchet asked him, earning a nod. "Now, what could have caused that?"
"We have a grave suspicion, Ratchet." Elita started
"Dark energon." Optimus ended.
At the same time in the Nemesis, Galvatron looked like normal. Although his body absorbed all the dark energon that he injected himself, it was like he was not been affected.
Darkscream laughed nervously as he walked at his master with caution. "Lord Galvatron?"
"It's as if the blood of Unicron the Destroyer flows through my veins. As if I hear his very thoughts. I now know what I must do." Galvatron expressed as he took another shard of dark energon.
"And what can I do to assist you, master?"
"Quit groveling. And await my command."
Galvatron exited the Nemesis, changed to his vehicle form and flew to an unknown location. Darkscream saw him leaving from the ship's inside, and an idea came to his mind. Just when Soundblaster appeared behind him.
"Soundblaster, I fear that when our master reached for the stars, he came down with a touch of space madness. Lord Galvatron has not been of sound judgment since his return. Increase global surveillance."
Soundblaster simply reproduced what Galvatron said before leaving. "Quit groveling. And await my command."
"I am not deaf! But if Optimus Prime lives, I believe it is in lord Galvatron's best interest that we ensure his enemy's destruction."
Back to the Autobot base…
"If the residue Moonracer found on that Autobot trooper brought your broken equipment to life, it would stand to reason that the very same substance brought him back from the dead." Optimus theorized after he eliminated the last remain of the creature putting it inside a container cylinder.
"Hum, that would account for detecting his life signal so suddenly." Ratchet theorized.
"Wait. You're meaning that was caused by that called dark energon? It is something similar to the energon that allows you to live?"
"No Clemont. Dark energon has been a legend for a long time. It is supposed to name a substance, similar to energon, which holds the power to bring the dead back to life." Elita explained.
"Do you mean it can resurrect Autobots and Decepticons?"
"No exactly. We're talking about reanimation, not resurrection."
"I don't know. I usually don't believe in those things related with dark magic and zombies."
"Clemont has a point. Dark energon? It's so scarce so is to be virtually non-existent. What would it be doing on Earth?" Ratchet asked.
"It was transported by Galvatron." Optimus deduced.
"For what purpose?"
"To conquer this planet, by raising an army of the undead."
"Well, then Galvatron will need to break quite a few toaster ovens."
"Clemont's right. We mean, were on this world would he find that many cybertronian dead?" Ratchet supported.
"Wait, now that I remember. Maybe he would use the bodies of his first army, the one that he controlled the previous time."
"Fear nothing, Clemont. That wouldn't work." Ratchet reassured.
"Why?"
"Because first of all, all the remains of those robots were confiscated by the authorities and eliminated, so there's no remains Galvatron could use. Second, Team Alien created those prototypes from recycled cybertronian matter, which there is no idea how could it react to dark energon exposure."
"One way or another, Galvatron will focus on trying to locate already fallen cybertronians in order to create his new army." Optimus deduced.
In that moment, Ratchet received a call and went to open the ground bridge. He did it a couple of times in order to bring everyone back to base in no time, just when Hot Rod entered the base, taking Ash, Pikachu, Tracey and Misty with him. The rest of the group seemed to have enjoyed their time with their Autobot guardians.
"Big brother, dad ensured that I bring you some food, thinking you might spend more time with your duties."
"Thanks Bonnie."
"Autobots, remain here. Ratchet, Elita, you'll come with me. Arcee, we'll be outside communications range for some time, so I'm putting you in charge." Optimus instructed.
"You're the next one in the chain of command?" Serena asked surprised to her partner.
"I thought the big tank would be the next in charge." Misty expressed.
"Nah, they never pick me." Warpath assured.
"And exactly we are you three going? Ratchet hasn't been in the field since the war." Arcee expressed.
"My pistons may be rusty but my hearing is sharp as ever." Ratchet said upsetting.
"For the moment, its only reconnaissance." Optimus reassured.
"Then why do we hear an edge in your voice?" Hot Rod asked.
"Much has changed in the last 24 hours, and we all need to adapt. Ratchet, bridge us out." Optimus concluded.
After that, the three Autobots walked at the portal and went to wherever they supposed to go.
"So, what's your first order, commander?"
"Hahaha, very funny, Moon." Arcee said sarcastically.
"We still have the entire day to spend with you, and surely Optimus and the others will not take much to whatever they're doing." Ash started.
"So Ash, what about if you tell us your adventures in the Alola region? Brock and I went there for a little visit, but I also want to hear what other things you and the others did in there."
"That's a great idea, Misty." Serena supported.
"Yeah, we also want to know what kinds of pokémon did you meet there." Max added.
"And what new friends you made there." Bonnie followed.
"Well, that will have to wait. We still need to end fixing the breaches on the base's limits to make sure no wild pokémon sneak inside by accident. Moon, Bee, Sideswipe, with me." Arcee commanded.
"But didn't Optimus tell us to stay?" Hot Rod reminded.
"When you're in charge you can call the shots. Congratulations, partner, you're in charge of everything until we end reparations."
Arcee, Moonracer, Sideswipe and Bumblebee grabbed all equipment necessary before changing to vehicle mode and left the base, leaving only Hot Rod, Warpath and Wheeljack with the gang.
"So, anyone knows other way to pass time?" Hot Rod asked.
"How about if we start training our pokémon in case we encounter the Decepticons in order to help you? Warpath and I have been training a little with that."
"That's a great idea, May. That way we'll be ready for when you need help." Ash supported.
"Oh, bring it." Wheeljack nodded crushing his fists together.
But before they could star, a familiar sound and green light caught everyone's attention.
"Arg, by Primus. Really?" Wheeljack complained.
"Is the proximity sensor. Someone's coming." Tracey reminded.
"Quick, hide!" Hot Rod told them alarmed before turning at the other Autobots. "Leave it to me."
The group only had time to hide behind Warpath, except the three pokémon, who hide behind a wall next to him. In a few moments, a pokémon ranger, this time a boy, came out from the elevator.
"Prime?" He called.
"Hey ranger." Hot Rod started, a little nervous. "Uh…Optimus's not here. Nobody's here, except us of course."
"Where is he? Doesn't matter. I don't know what language you Bots speak on your planet, but Solana communicated that he'd handle those called Decepticons. And blowing a crater in an island of Hoenn is not what the word "handle" means in our language. So you tell him…"
The pokémon ranger couldn't end his phrase because he heard some kind of sneeze. It was Piplup, who was trying to not sneeze because his beak itched, but ended sneezing again, even when Pikachu and Dedenne tried to stop him. The last sneeze was strong enough to send them in middle of the room, at the pokémon ranger's sight.
"Since when do you Autobots train pokémon?"
Unfortunately, Dawn tried to reach to Piplup and the pokémon ranger could see her shoes coming from behind the Autobot tank's foot. At the end, they decided to come out.
"Hi, how you're doing?" Tracey saluted.
"What a weird place to look for rare pokémon, right?" Clemont followed.
"Contact with civilians?! Team Prime has really gone too far! Wait, Ash?" The pokémon ranger recognized.
"Jack? Is that you? It's been a while."
"Whoa whoa, hold on! You know each other?!" Hot Rod asked surprised.
"We do. We met Jack when we were traveling around the Kanto region during a mission in which he was protecting a legendary pokémon's egg." May explained.
That made Ritchie sigh relieved. "What a relief. At least we know he is trustworthy."
"What are you and your friends doing here?" Jack asked.
"We know the Autobots for quite some time, and we helped them the last time we were in middle of their fight." Ash explained.
"And since their enemies are back, that's why we are back with them." Serena added.
"You don't have anything to worry about, Jack. You already know how strong we are."
"That was totally different, Ash. I really appreciate that you want to help, but this beats you. Fear nothing, I'm taking all of you under ranger custody. Is for your own protection." Jack said walking toward them, until Warpath put his foot in between.
"We're protecting them." He corrected firm.
"Optimus was clear with his choice." Hot Rod supported.
"Is that so? Well, maybe you can explain that to my superiors at central." Jack said as he was going to use a telephone.
"I would not use that phone if I were you." Wheeljack warned as he used his finger to break it. "Out of order."
"Nice move, Jackie." Hot Rod smirked.
"Hey! I'm the only one who can be called Jackie. And this isn't over."
And with all that said, Jack headed back to the elevator. Everyone was concerned for what will come next.
"Great! Just when only Optimus can solve an emergency, he's gone." Hot Rod complained.
"Nice try, kid. But it seems for that ranger duty comes first than friendship." Wheeljack said to Ash, who simply looked down worried, as Serena put a hand on his shoulder.
Far from there, on Cleopatra Island, in the Orange Archipelago, Optimus, Elita and Ratchet walked inside a canyon.
"Optimus, what do we hope to find here?" Elita asked.
"The site of the largest cybertronian battlefield in this galaxy."
"On Earth? You must be joking."
"You should know by now, Ratchet, that Optimus never takes things as a joke." Elita reassured him.
"Do you recall the period late in the war, when both sides began hiding their energon spoils off world?" Optimus asked.
"Of course. It's the reason energon deposits exist on planets such of this one." Ratchet answered.
"It is also the reason battles came to be waged on planets such as this one. And I fear Galvatron's memory is as long as history."
Meanwhile, Ranger Jack took off his air transport (some kind of high-speed helicopter for one person) and headed back to his base.
"Headquarters, this is Jack Walker. We have a situation. I'm em-route from the Autobot base; I'll brief you in person."
Unfortunately, Soundblaster intercepted the transmission and showed it to Darkscream.
"Autobot base, say? Humans, always the weak link. Fetch me this Jack Walker, so that he may brief us instead." Darkscream commanded.
Immediately, a piece from Soundblaster's chest took flight by its own, revealing to be one of his Minicons: Buzzsaw. Speaking of Jack, he continued flying until he picked something in his radar.
"Uh? What kind of pokémon can be that big and appear in the radar?"
In a few seconds Buzzsaw appeared in front of him.
"What in the name of Arceus?"
Buzzsaw was going at full speed to tackle Jack's ship. Fortunately, he dodged in time, but the Minicon started to chase him.
"First the ground becomes dangerous and now the sky too?"
Buzzsaw hit his vehicle, causing it to spin around out of control. That forced Jack to jump out of the vehicle and land of top of a tree. He saw the Minicon turning around back at him, but also a possible friend which could give him a hand: a Fearow, right in front of him. So he pulled out his capture styler and launched at it.
"Capture on!"
He did a few moves with his device until the circle made around the pokémon disappeared, signaling the pokémon was now his to command.
"Capture complete. Fearow, I need your help."
The flying pokémon took flight and headed at him. Jack jumped on his back before Buzzsaw reached him. Now the Minicon was chasing the pokémon ranger and his temporary companion. They flew near a canyon with Buzzsaw dead on their trail, but they managed to overtake it and hide. Now they were chasing the Minicon.
"Now let's show that thing to not mess with the true owners of Earth. Fearow, use Drill Peck."
The pokémon started to attack the Minicon, which now was trying to evade the attacks. He did it, until Jack saw the chance and signaled Fearow to strike, and he did, hitting Buzzsaw's wing.
"That would teach it."
But Buzzsaw recovered really quick and performed an acrobatic, hitting the pokémon with one of its wings. That sent them both against the canyon's wall. Fearow was stunned, so Jack grabbed him with one hand while he used the other to grab the edge of the wall.
"There's not an Autobot around when you need one."
He managed to throw Fearow on top of the wall using all his strength. While this happened, Buzzsaw deployed two claws as he approached them. But he managed to send a distress call with his wrist terminal before the Minicon grabbed him by the arms and took him flying. Back to the Autobot base, an alarm sounded too loud that the group had to cover their ears.
"Ouch, my ears!" Max exclaimed.
"Please, make it stop!" Bonnie added.
"Dedenne!" The little pokémon groaned.
Wheeljack walked to the computer to see what was going on. "It's an SOS. From Jack."
But before he could do anything the alarm turned off.
"Did you trace it?" Tracey asked.
"I'm afraid not. Location scan was incomplete." Wheeljack answered.
"Oh well." Warpath simply said.
"What? Seriously?" May asked in disbelief.
"That guy was about to inform about you."
"I know that Jack may not have a very good point about this, but he is a good pokémon ranger." Ash defended.
"And whether you like him or not, the Decepticons may have him." Ritchie added.
"And he knows your location." Serena added.
"And…our location." Misty whimpered scared.
"And let's not forget that he even didn't want to argue with a Bot? The Decepticons will try to make him squeal on purpose!" Tracey reminded.
"They have a good point. As always." Hot Rod admitted.
"But we lost the transmission. Jack could be anywhere." Warpath said.
"Hum, maybe I can narrow it down." Clemont said as he connected his backpack to the main terminal. "Some years ago, pokémon rangers started to wear locator chips on their equipment in case of getting lost or being captured. You know, like some people do their pokémon." Everyone was impressed as Clemont was typing. "What? I saw it on TV. Anyway, if I can hack into the rangers' mainframe maybe I can pinpoint Ranger Jack's location."
"Since when do you know how to hack, big brother?" Bonnie asked.
"There's still some things you don't know about me, sister."
"Whoa, you're really full of surprises." May admired.
"I guess we don't have to worry anymore about Blaster's absence in that field." Wheeljack said smiling.
Meanwhile, Ranger Jack was in the worst place of all: in the interrogation room of the Decepticon warship. A Vehicon tossed him to the ground, right in front of Darkscream.
"Welcome, Jack Walker." He said sinisterly looking at him. "So you're one of those called pokémon rangers."
He immediately got up. "You treat all your guests this nice?"
Darkscream chuckled. "Any friend of the Autobots."
"Autobots? You're talking about those coin operated car washes?" Jack said, pretending not knowing nothing about them.
"Oh, so that's how it's going to be, hum? Apparently, no one has told you I have no appreciation for human humor. Make our guest comfortable." Darkscream ordered to the Vehicon.
Meanwhile, inside the base…
"Latitude 39.5, longitude 116.9." Clemont calculated.
With the location targeted, the Autobots opened the ground bride.
"Okay. Wait here." Hot Rod instructed.
"Do you need us to send one of our pokémon to assist you?" Dawn asked.
"There is no time for that." Wheeljack answered.
"Uh, Tracey, you and Ash are in charge." Hot Rod stablished before he and the others ran into the portal.
"And now what?" Ritchie asked.
"I guess we have the run of the place." Ash answered.
"Wait a minute. Where's May?" Misty noticed.
"May? Sister, where are you?!" Max called.
The ground bridge took the Autobot trio to a rock canyon near Terracotta Town, near the shore.
"Jack?" Hot Rod called.
"Keep it low, kid." Wheeljack advised as they looked something in front of them which forced them to hide. "The whole Decepticon shebang."
Just like they were seeing, the Nemesis landed inside the canyon and a few Decepticon troops patrolled the area. So, they had to be fast sneaking between rocks.
"I will try to sneak first." Wheeljack said activating his battle mask and pulling out his swords. "Wait here till I'm on top of it."
The Wrecker moved silently between the rocks, sneaking between the Cons when he could, until he reached the Nemesis.
"So, what are we supposed to do?" May asked near them, with Blaziken with her.
"May!" Warpath said surprised as he signaled her to stay quiet.
But too late: a Decepticon tank already spotted her and aimed his cannon at her.
"Oh no, you don't. Use Sky Uppercut!"
Blaziken used the move, hitting the Decepticon and causing it to shoot at other direction.
"Blaziken, get May out of the way!" Warpath shouted.
The pokémon grabbed her and jumped to a rock near before Warpath tackled the tank to the ground. Warpath started to punch him, until the Decepticon pushed him back. Both started to fight, earning a hit on the face both of them. Then Warpath punched the Decepticon hard and tried to immobilize him on the ground, not seeing that he was charging the cannon.
"Warpath, look out!" May warned.
"Allow me." Hot Rod said changing his hands for his weapons.
Hot Rod fired at the Decepticon, destroying his cannon. That alarmed a few other Decepticon soldiers, so Hot Rod fired at them while Warpath was still busy with the tank.
"Blaziken, help him. Aim for the tank's feet, use Blaze Kick." May instructed.
Blaziken approached the Decepticon fast and hit him just where May told him. That made the tank lost his balance and allowing Warpath to grab both his hands and hold him.
"May, Blaziken, take cover!" Warpath advised.
"But…"
"Just do it!"
And without warning, Warpath fired his chest cannon, making a huge hole in the Decepticon's chest.
"Whoa." She said amazed.
"This is too much for us." Warpath deduced.
"Indeed. We're going to need backup, seriously this time." Hot Rod agreed.
Hot Rod also managed to eliminate all the Cons he faced. After that, everyone hid again in the rocks, away from the Cons' eyes. In that same moment, Arcee, Sideswipe, Moonracer and Bumblebee were still ending with the last holes of the base's infrastructure.
"Guys, do you read?" Hot Rod called.
"Loud and clear, partner." Arcee answered by com-link.
"We have a situation."
"Hot, they're kids, humans and pokémon. There is nothing to worry about." Arcee reassured, but just when she listened what Hot Rod was referring, she stopped. "You are where?! She's with you?!"
"That seems like something has gone out of place." Sideswipe deduced.
"But exactly how?" Moon asked.
Everyone was worried too in the Autobot base.
"Do you think she may have followed them by accident?" Serena asked.
"Knowing my sister, I highly doubt it." Max answered.
"You said May was with you the last time you witnessed a fight between the Bots and Cons. Did she act this way then?" Misty asked.
"Of course not, that's the weird thing." Clemont answered.
"Maybe she has forgotten how cybertronian combat is." Tracey suggested.
"Or maybe she wanted to play like the old times that she ignored the danger." Max added.
"Those are the coordinates. Their destination is still locked in." Clemont saw in the terminal.
"Okay, we gotta do something. If May is really in danger, she may need all the help possible. Clemont, reopen the bridge, Pikachu and I will get her back." Ash decided. "Right buddy?"
"Pika, pikachu." The little pokémon nodded encouraged.
"You're going into that battle zone? That's dangerous." Misty objected.
"I know how to deal with the Cons. We'll be just fine." Ash reassured.
"I'm not going to be fine knowing anything can happen to you, Ash." Serena said worried. "So, I'm going with you."
"You will need support. Sparky and I will cover your backs." Ritchie offered.
"Pika pika." Sparky nodded.
"And so we are." Dawn followed.
"Piplup."
"You will need someone who knows about science in case we get into cybertronian environment." Clemont joined.
"Then it's decided. Misty, you can stay here with Max and Bonnie while we bring May back." Tracey told her.
"Oh no, you're not leaving me out this time. Have you forgotten why I'm still the leader of the Cerulean gym or did Ash forget to tell you about his last battle with me? This time I'm going with you too. Like the old times."
"Looks like the old Misty is back." Ash said smiling.
"Then let's go. Max, Bonnie, you're in charge." Clemont told them as he reopened the ground bridge remotely and the volunteer group headed for it.
"Really? In charge of who?" Bonnie asked before she and Max followed them.
The entire group entered the portal once it was open.
"Arcee to base, come in. Serena, Ash, listen up. We need you to bridge us back." She called from the terminal, but there was no one to respond. "Hello?"
"No one's at base? Then it must have happened something serious for them to leave." Sideswipe realized.
"They could be in danger." Moonracer said worried.
"Guys, metal to the pedal." Arcee said before they changed to vehicle form and headed back to their destination.
Meanwhile, inside the Nemesis' interrogation room, Jack was chained up around the arms and hanging from the ceiling.
"Ranger Jack, I have one simple request that will save your family the pain of grieving. Tell me the location of the Autobot base." Darkscream asked putting a finger on his throat.
"No problem. But I need to ask you something first." He answered.
"Yes. I'm listening."
"I got an issue with the customer service here. Can I speak to the manager?"
That irritated Darkscream.
"I make the decisions here, I am in charge!" He yelled before turning at one of the guards. "Bring the prod."
Meanwhile, outside the ship, in the canyon…
"What's taking the others?" Warpath asked.
"We could say the same about Wheeljack." Hot Rod reminded.
"And the Decepticons could be interrogating Jack right now. We need to act now." May suggested.
Then they saw a ground bridge portal appearing a few steps from them.
"Ah. They're here." Hot Rod said relieved.
But they only saw the group coming through it.
"What is everyone doing here?" Warpath asked in disbelief.
"It isn't obvious? They came to help, like we did before." May answered.
"Whoa. Are your bones vibrating?" Max asked a little dizzy.
"It seems it's a side effect of the ground bridge. Ratchet told me it might happen during the first times." Clemont answered.
"But it seems it worked. Look." Ash called, pointing at the Nemesis.
Everyone was speechless in the moment they saw the Nemesis in front of them, and to make things worse the Decepticons of the top of the ship saw them, and aimed their weapons at them.
"You there!" One of the Decepticons shouted.
"Scrap." Hot Rod, Warpath and May cursed.
Back to the Nemesis interrogation room…
"I'll ask nicely one last time. The Autobot base." Darkscream demanded.
"Sure thing, big guy. Right after I managed to clear all my agenda's dates." Jack joked again.
But this time, Darkscream turned on a little device that he had at hand that generated electricity, and gave the pokémon ranger a small tap on his stomach. That caused him a lot of pain, making Darkscream smile.
"As I imagined: energon and human nervous systems don't mix."
Meanwhile in the desert canyon, the Autobot trio discovered a giant mass of dead cybertronians.
"For the first time in my life, Optimus, I had hoped that you were wrong." Ratchet expressed.
Then they heard an engine sound coming from above them, and saw Galvatron changing back to robot form and landing in the top of the mountain in front of them.
"Optimus, and Elita, been well? I see you brought your trusty watchdog. I was certainly be convalescing in a scrapyard by now." Galvatron observed.
"Galvatron. So it's true, you're back." Elita saw.
"Why don't you invite him down here for a check?" Ratchet suggested, ready to prove him wrong.
"We know why you're here, Galvatron."
"Hardly a surprise, Optimus. After all, you and I have been at this a long time, and your time has come to an end." Galvatron proclaimed as he pulled out his dark energon shard.
Galvatron threw it to the ground, and soon the dark matter expanded through the entire place. Galvatron's Decepticon emblem and eyes changed to purple.
"Rise, my legion!"
And so, the dead cybertronian started to get up.
"By the Allspark." Ratchet said as he, Elita and Optimus witnessed with horror.
"It cannot be." Elita expressed in horror.
In just a couple of seconds all the corpses turned into Terrorcons.
"Behold the power of dark energon!" Galvatron shouted.
To be continued…
