Aizawa glared at his five students who failed the exam and remembered just how much he hated teenagers.

He had been gone from his job due to recovery, and in that short period of time it seems he had forgotten how utterly disgusting and stupid children are. Why is he even a teacher? Aizawa began to contemplate his life decisions when he felt his phone vibrate.

It was Naomasa.

Aizawa excused himself from the room to take the call. He knew what the mater was, but didn't expect to be questioned yet. Of course he probably should've been questioned sooner, however from loosing a branch the police were in a very fragile place, and he had been in the hospital so a lot of things were getting delayed.

"Hello, Naomasa."

"Ah, Eraserhead! Glad we can finally talk, even if it's over the phone."

"This is about Deku, correct?"

"Yes," Naomasa paused, "Is this a sensitive matter for you?"

"No, it's fine." Aizawa got the feeling he'd be talking on the phone for a while, so he sat down on the ground. He was too tired to go look for a chair.

"Ok." There was a shuffling of piles on the other end of the line. "This call is being recorded so take your time, and please speak as clearly as possible."

"Understood."

Naomasa and Aizawa actually knew each other pretty well, but under situations like this they had come to a mutual agreement to put their friendship aside and act professionally.

"Ok, first question: Where did you encounter Deku?"

Aizawa leaned his head back against the wall as he thought back to that day. He had been patrolling the West side of Hosu city. It had been around three or four days after the attack, so there were still a lot wrecked places. But thinking back to it now, he doubted that many of those places would repaired. The west side was notorious for its poverty. Lots of stores and homes were abandoned due to a skyrocket in crime rates, and those who continued to live there stayed because they couldn't afford to move. So it ended up being this half desolate place with high villainous activity. Perfect for Eraserhead.

That day specifically though the sky had puffy storm clouds that blocked the sun giving the district a creepier vibe than usual. It had also been a Saturday, so he would go home and watch his cat channel after he finished patrolling. He ran through alleyways searching for his next target when he approached the end of an alleyway with a laundromat. He stopped and glanced at it noticing something a bit unordinary about it: the sign was illuminated. Aizawa scanned the other stores in the vicinity for signs of activity, but was greeted, unsurprisingly, with none. He cautiously approached the laundromat. It's glass was clouded over rendering Aizawa unable to see anything except the sign giving him a severe disadvantage. As he neared, he heard the hum of a laundry machine. Apparently this place still had costumers. Aizawa pushed the door in slightly trying to stay as stealthy as possible, but unfortunately he heard a bell resonate through the store. He lightly cursed himself for not thinking of that minor detail and decided he might as well walk in like a normal person now.

There was only one person in there. Well more like a kid. The whole place was empty except for a kid around 15 sitting in at a bench with a laundry basket, eating a sandwich while waiting for his clothes to finish drying. Aizawa knew he had never met the kid before, but there was something he felt like he recognized about him. He stared at the kid for a few minutes just trying to figure out who he was. It was right on his tongue. And then he recalled a conversation he had with Naomasa at lunch the day before. Naomasa had been informing him on the attack of the police station. Apparently Naomasa thought that he was someone he could trust with this information. The footage that Naomasa had shown him that day; this kid perfectly matched the one running around the station that day. Not only that, but they were in Hosu. So that means, this kid is most likely Deku.

"I found him in a laundromat on the West side of Hosu."

"Oh really? What was he doing? Laundry?" Naomasa said that half jokingly. The thought of a villain doing their laundry was kind of strange.

"Yes. He was eating a sandwich too."

"Oh...interesting." There was rapid scribbling over the phone and the questioning continued.

"Can you describe him for me? Like his personality or any important characteristics or traits?"

"Well..." Aizawa sighed this question would be a pain to answer.

He was still staring at the kid. The whole situation was just incredibly anti climatic, especially considering that this kid was supposedly the one who took down the entire police branch of this area. Aizawa slithered his capture gear quietly around the teen who had surprisingly not noticed him yet. He looped it loosely around the kid and when he had enough in place, Aizawa pulled hard tightening it considerably and successfully captured Deku. He watched Deku closely to see his reaction which was...sadness? Was it sadness? He looked angry too though. Deku turned his head glaring at Aizawa.

'You did this, didn't you?' His eyes were menacing and cold especially for a kid his age.

'Yes. I'm supposed to take you in for a crime you committed.'

Deku snarled at him. 'I don't care about that.'

'What do you mean then?'

Deku held a disgusted face. 'You really don't know what you just did?'

'...' Aizawa was lost. He had no idea what Deku was referring to.

Deku scowled and gritted his teeth. 'My sandwich.'

'What?' Why the hell would he care about his sandwich in this sort of situation?

'It's on the ground. My sandwich is on the ground.' The kid looked like he was on the verge of a mental break down. 'I haven't eaten all day. I was enjoying that sandwich. But then you, you murdered it. You murdered my sandwich.'

Aizawa looked closely near the ground of where Deku was floating to see a sandwich splattered on the floor. Honestly, it did look like a crime scene.

He sighed and turned around exiting the shop with Deku in tow.

'Hey, sandwich murderer, put me down. I gotta wait for my clothes to dry. You can take me afterwards.'

Aizawa turned around making eye contact with Deku to see if he was serious which he was. He sighed.

'Kid, you're getting arrested I think you have bigger problems than your laundry being stolen. Now come quietly please.'

Deku's face creased into a deep frown. 'Why am I being arrested by you?'

He stared at the kid incredulously. 'You are Deku, am I correct?'

'Yes.'

'Well you demolished a police station three days ago didn't you?'

'Yeah, but what's that got to do with it?'

At this point Aizawa wasn't sure if the kid was just an idiot or incredibly optimistic. 'That's a crime.'

'Yeah, but why are you arresting me?' Deku seemed very confused.

'I'm a pro hero.'

A lightbulb seemed to go off, and Deku's eyes brightened considerably. 'Oooh,' he laughed nervously, 'I thought you were a badass hobo or something.'

Aizawa felt like he was losing braincells just by talking to this guy and decided he should start heading to the police station. But when he started running again he felt the weight in his capture gear disappear. He spun around to see a clean slice in the place where Deku should've been.

'I'm gonna go back to the laundromat now.' He wiped his head to the side and saw Deku walking back the way they came.

Aizawa shot a strand of binding clothe towards him, but the kid dodged fluidly. It continued like this until Deku touched the surface of the laundromat.

'Time out! This is a safe zone.' Deku made a 'T' symbol with his hands and quickly walked through the door. Like they were playing tag or something.

He shot a piece of clothe and wrapped it around the kids leg pulling him out of the 'safe zone'. Deku dangled upside down in front of him rubbing his head.

'You're a fucking cheater.'

He was so done with this kid. That is until he saw a katana literally materialize out of nowhere. It was a strange one though, it was completely black with green markings on the blade. With perfect control, Deku cut the capture clothe in half and landed gracefully on the floor beneath. The katana disappeared just as quickly as it appeared.

Aizawa activated his quirk.

'That won't work.' Deku stared at him with a bored expression. Aizawa soon realized what the kid meant. He couldn't detect a quirk at all.

'Then how did you do that?'

'Hmm? Do what?' Aizawa sighed for what felt like the thousandth time that day.

'The katana thing.'

'It's technology.' Deku seemed done with this conversation. 'Can I go do my laundry now?'

'No. I'm arresting you.'

'Can't you just let me go?'

'No.'

'Why not?'

Aizawa felt like they had already had this conversation before, so he rushed forward with the plan to overpower the kid and...that's where his memory gets fuzzy.

Gathering his thoughts Aizawa answered Naomasa, "He's very eccentric."

More scribbling. "Would you be able to go into deeper analysis on that?"

Aizawa thought about it a bit more. The kid was obsessed with his laundry and seemed to care a lot about food making him stand out quite a bit. But there was something about Deku that just felt off about his tone. There was this underlying sense of melancholy behind it. Like the kid was sad about something other than the "murder" of his sandwich.

"I'm not sure really. He's stupid though."

"What makes you say that?"

"He basically confessed to all his crimes." Aizawa was pretty sure he heard Naomasa spit out his drink.

Naomasa gathered himself again. "Ok, we'll go over that more at the in person meeting."

He then jumped to a different question. "What about abilities?"

"I didn't detect a quirk on him, so I'm pretty sure he's quirkless."

Aizawa heard a sigh of relief come from the other side of the line.

"How would you rank him in combat ability?"

"Higher than Stain."

"Really, why?"

"He can teleport his sword."

There was a large silence.

.

.

.

"You're kidding right?"

"I don't joke around."

Aizawa lifted his head off the wall. Something was wrong. That's when he smelled it, the smoke. "Sorry I have to go."

"Wait, Aiza-" He hung up. He had a bad feeling about this one.

Aizawa rushed back to the classroom. "What's going on?"

The five students stared back at him having no idea what he was talking about. And then a Mandalay contacted them. "We're being attacked! Students do not engage!"

Aizawa immediately tensed, and glared outside to see huge blue flames licking up towards the sky. He glanced back worriedly to his students. He was in no position to fight right now, hell he was still using crutches. And then of course, right when he thought that, a villain appeared. Aizawa quickly grabbed his capture gear, dropped his crutches and sprinted outside ignoring the gradually increasing pain in his knees. He cursed that he hadn't recovered enough for Recovery Girl to heal him. Apparently his knees were too fucked up, so he needed surgery which Chiyo couldn't help him with at the moment. He had yet to get surgery because he was still recovering from surgery on his ankles.

In other words, his body is complete shit.

Aizawa pounded the door open to get blasted by blue flames. He barely avoided them by grappling up the building with his capture gear. He dropped down adding a forward roll trying to keep as much pressure off his legs as possible. Back on his feet, Aizawa was greeted by an individual with nasty looking stiches all over his body and black spiky hair. The man smiled at Aizawa.

"I guess that's a pro for you."

Aizawa rushed forward barely dodging the intense flames flying at him. Once near enough, Aizawa engaged him in close combat and was quickly able to shut the villain down. He slammed the villain on the ground, sitting on top of him for good measure when he saw some of his students emerge from the forest. The villain took advantage of the quick break in concentration and threw Aizawa off of him. Aizawa landed painfully on his right leg causing a sickening crack to be heard. From his seated position he threw part of his capture clothe at the man only for him to turn into mud.

"Aizawa sensei!" His students ran over to him.

"I'm fine. Just get my crutches for me." One of them ran into the building to get the pair of dropped crutches and Iida helped him stand up. Leaning on Iida, Aizawa watched as a large amount of students began making their way over to the building. Aizawa began to do a headcount of all the students present. There should be 39...

He only counted 38.

Aizawa then realized, "Where's Bakugou?"

The question was met with silence.

"Does anyone know where Bakugou is?"

All 38 kids stared blankly back at him. The panic was slowly rising in their eyes.

"Has anyone seen Koda?" That was Mandalay. She hadn't been able to find him either.

An eerie silence fell over the group as they realized Ragdoll was nowhere to be seen.

Later it was confirmed that the attack of UA training camp was met with 2 villains captured, 27 students injured, 2 missing, and 1 dead.
