Kai, Jay and Zane are soon thrown into a room before the hunters slam the door behind them. "Easy, watch the hair!" Kai yelled as they got up.
"May The Pit swallow you whole!" A hunter on the other side of the door replied.
Zane looks up at the ceiling to see that it is a trapdoor as Kai and Jay look up to see it as well, making Jay laugh. "Out of the frying pan and into the fire." He stated before placing a hand on Kai's shoulder. "Can this get any better?"
Kai nudges the hand off of him. "Can you get any more nuts?" He asked, annoyed at his attitude.
"Jay may have a point." Zane replied. "As far as pits go, I have detected worse."
Bell ringing was soon heard, and they look around before laughter is heard. "Now this ain't The Pit." The voice called out before they turned to see a hunter with really damaged gear on as well as a few missing teeth and three missing fingers: Right index, and left middle and pinky. He soon rang the bell that was in his hand as he came up to them.
"Uh, who are you?" Kai asked.
Jay soon gasped. "Oh no." He said, sarcastically. "It's Slab."
"No, no, no, not Slab." The hunter replied, coming up to them. "I'm Chew Toy. Nice to meet ya! Wowee-wow, three of ya?" He chuckles while ringing his bell. "Oh, this'll be a good show. Really ****ing good." He chuckles again before jumping back, and taps his right foot twice. The floor suddenly starts rising up and the trapdoor opens as Chew Toy keeps ringing his bell. There was soon the sound of crowd cheering. "Now that..." He points upward. "That's The Pit."
Jay chuckles as the lift was almost to the top, and puts an arm around Chew Toy. "Let's do this." He soon laughed as he steps away from him.
"You still don't want us to use our powers?" Kai asked Zane.
"You've seen how they treat the dragons." Zane replied. "What do you suppose they'll do to us?"
"Good point."
They soon reach the top and it was shown to be the inside of the arena as the crowd of hunters kept cheering. "Can you hear that?" Chew Toy asked. "Mm! They're cheering for us, fellas! Let's give 'em what they want!"
They look at the crowd a little, with Jay the only one smiling. Kai turned to the side to raise his right arm above his eyes, and sees the sun as Chew Toy walks away from them, waving his bell around, and motivating the crowd.
On a platform, the top hat hunter looks down at them. "I've spent my whole life wanting to see the true face of an Oni." He said. "And now I get to see three. I hope Slab can wipe the smirks off those dirty shapeshifters."
"Chew Toy, Chew, Toy, Chew Toy, Chew Toy, Chew Toy, Chew Toy!" The crowd chanted as Chew Toy kept moving around, waving his arms about and ringing his bell until he soon does a small dance.
He soon went down on all fours and kept moving. "I can't hear you!" He yelled out to them as he moved around and laughed before barking while Kai, Jay and Zane watch him.
"Is everyone in this place crazy?" Kai asked.
Jay soon laughs. "The man is a born entertainer." He replied as he watched Chew Toy throw his bell in the air, and catches it with his other hand. "Are you seeing these moves?" He does the same trick before jumping over to them.
"Now, listen, fellas, don't you go down in the first few seconds." He said. "The slave lasted only 10 minutes. Watch out for Slab's breath. It can bury you, if you know what I mean?" He waves his bell again. "And, if Slab ever gets you cornered, best not to fight it. Just play dead." He soon turned around. "He'll get bored eventually." He walks away as the crowd was still cheering.
A gate behind them soon started shaking as they soon turn to it with Kai and Zane showing fear, except for Jay, as growling was soon heard. Roaring was then heard as something hits the gate. "Ah, I'm gonna go with that's Slab." Kai said, pointing to the gate.
"And here I thought we were at rock bottom." Jay replied as Chew Toy kept on entertaining the crowd. "This is so much worse." He cackles as he says it.
As Kai and Zane look through a small gap to see a dragon's head while Jay moved around, looking at the crowd. "So Slab is a dragon." Kai and Zane turn their backs to the gate. "I thought dragons are our friends."
"In Dead's End, no one's our friend." Zane said.
"'Dead's End.'" Jay replied, repeating what Zane first said, and scoffed before coming between him and Kai, and placed a hand on their shoulders. "I get it. This is where we're gonna-"
"I get it, Jay!" Kai cuts him off. "Could you at least try to be ****ing helpful?"
Chew Toy huffed as he came up behind them. "Wowee-wow!" He said. "You Oni have really got Slab fired up." He soon laughed as Slab's growling was heard. "I've never seen him this angry."
This got Kai angered, and pushes Chew Toy back. "For the last time, we are not Oni!"
"Yeah, well, dragons hate Oni." Chew Toy turned away, disbelieving him, and walked away. "If it's not you, something else has really got his blood boiling." He said the last part in a sort of singing tone before continuing on.
Up at the stand, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon enter it and walk down some stairs, wearing disguises and white face paint along with some fake scars. Dragon couldn't find any pants his current size and hoped no one would notice while Gewuji tied her long hair into a ponytail, but couldn't find any shoes her size, yet she did manage to find a young boys' pair of boots that were approximately similar to her own shoe size. Cole managed to find something sharp to shave his beard and puts on his fake moustache. Gewuji was slowly scratching her arm. "This thing is itchy." She muttered before sniffing her arm, and moans in disgust. "And it stinks. Maybe this was a bad idea."
Dragon soon noticed something. "Look, there they are!" He said, pointing out to them.
"But we're in the cheap seats." Cole replied.
"If we're gonna help them, we have to get closer." Gewuji said. "Come on!"
Gewuji soon turned right, inadvertently bumping into the long haired and bearded young man, which also made her drop the photo. "Dragon's turd!" He yelled before he turns around to face them. "Sorry about-" The sight of him caused her to briefly blush before Cole soon came between them. "I don't recognise you." He was speaking in the way the hunters were. He even showed off some damaged and crooked teeth in his mouth.
"And I don't recognise you!" Cole replied.
"Yo, Trudogolik, what are you doing, arguing with some Dragon Hunters?!" Someone with long hair and a masculine voice asked as he came over to them before nudging Trudogolik forward. "Back to work!"
"Of course, Skaar." Trudogolik replied and walked away.
Skaar then turned to the Cole, Gewuji and Dragon. "I am Skaar the Skullbreaker. Who are you?"
"Uh, we're new to camp." Gewuji said, moving Dragon back.
"The name is Rocky Dangerbuff." Cole said before turning to Dragon. "This is my son, Dangerbuff Jr." He soon looked at Gewuji. "And my sister, Valencia Dangerbuff." They all look at him with fists on their hips.
Skaar looks at them before smiling. "Aye!" He replied. "From the Dangerbuff clan! Ha. I know Stalwart Dangerbuff." He winks at him. "I bet he'd like to see you." He soon turned to Trudogolik. "Oi, Trudogolik, go fetch Stalwart!"
"As you wish, Skaar." He said before walking away.
But while Skaar had his back turned, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon immediately ran back up the stairs, and he turned back, only to see them gone before laughing. "Classic Dangerbuff."
Not far from where Skaar was, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon move along the back row behind some Dragon Hunters. "You're right." Dragon said to Cole. "Bad at disguises."
"I didn't hear you speaking up." He replied.
"A master know when to keep his mouth shut."
Gewuji then started to feel through her pockets before gasping. "My photo!" She whispered.
They both turn to her. "What?" Cole asked.
"I lost my photo."
"We'll have to find it later. We need to move."
Down in The Pit, Kai, Jay and Zane look at the gate at Slab growled from behind it, slamming at it again, as Chew Toy passes by, still ringing his bell. "Open the gates!" The top hat Dragon Hunter called out. "Reveal the Oni!"
A nearby Dragon Hunter pulls a lever back, activating a mechanism that slowly started to open the gate before Slab came out, showing to be a black dragon with green markings. Slab stops in front the three Ninja, flaps its wings to fly up, lands, and roars at them. "Nice!" Jay proclaimed before chuckling, not intimidated by the roar.
Chew Toy soon came up beside Slab, still ringing his bell before Slab soon grabbed hold of him with its mouth, goes around in a circle, and moves its head up, opening it mouth for Chew Toy to fly in the air before he falls, and lands on Slab's right front tusk before soon shaking about to get him off while he rang his bell. "You still don't want to use our powers?" Kai asked as they watch the small show.
"We have befriended dragons before." Zane replied. "This one should be no different."
Chew Toy kept laughing as he was shaken around before Slab moves it head to the side, getting Chew Toy off of its tusk, and sending him flying into the stands, crashing into Trudogolik, who is knocked down, and the Dragon Hunters cheer as Chew Toy looks down at Trudogolik.
"Oh, hello, Trudogolik." He said. "Who told you you could lie down there?"
Slab soon growled as Jay sees Chew Toy's bell that he dropped when he was sent flying into the stand, and chuckles as he ran to it. "It's ours." He said, picking it up, and starts shaking it in front of Slab.
"What the hell are you doing?" Kai asked.
"If I'm going out, I'm going out with bells on." Slab soon growled, and tries to charge at Jay, but he jumps to the side and runs while still ringing the bell. The crowd were at first not amused, but soon cheered as he started to move like Chew Toy as Slab came over to him, and growled before charging at him.
Jay turns to see Slab charging at him, and rolls forward, avoiding its head before Slab soon turned to Kai and Zane, and roared, breathing out some Earth that conjures up some rock spikes, which make them backflip to the sides. "See?" The top hat Dragon Hunter asked the Dragon Hunter with the robotic voice. "Slab knows. Slab can smell Oni blood." Kai and Zane immediately head behind the end of the spike trail. "Change for us, Oni! Show us your ugly faces!"
They both immediately turn to run as Slab spreads its wings, and roared before charging at them, but Kai moves to the side, pushing Zane aside as well as they almost get bit by Slab, and resume running as it turned to them, breathing out more Earth spikes as Jay joins them, still ringing Chew Toy's bell, as Slab comes up behind them. "A little help, huh?" Kai asked the crowd. "A sword? A shield? We're defenceless down here!" Someone soon threw something down to them, and Kai catches one, only to be a dried banana. "Really?" He throws it aside. "Guys, how do we get outta here alive?"
"The sooner you realise we can't, the more fun it'll be." Jay replied.
Slab soon roared before firing more Earth spikes before stopping as it was near a wall, and turned left to keep pursuing them. "We need to find a way to subdue it." Zane said.
"There's nothing but rock and sand." Kai replied. "If you want me to hold it down with my bare hands, just ask."
"I do not believe that is possible."
"I was being sarcastic!"
Realising they're about to come up to another wall, Jay and Zane quickly turn right to hide behind a rock while Kai turned left, and turned back as Slab soon chased after it. "Zane!" Cole called out, causing him to look up and see him, Gewuji and Dragon.
"Cole, Gewuji, Master Wu." He said while Kai was being pursued by Slab. "You're all here."
"We've come to help." Gewuji replied.
"Then you should leave."
"Wait, what?"
"We're trying to save you!" Cole said.
"Master Wu is a descendant of the First Spinjitzu Master, he's part Oni." Zane replied. "His mere presence is only making things worse."
Kai soon stopped when he reaches a wall as Slab charges at him from behind. He turns to it before placing a hand on his forehead, and faints. Slab growls as it slowly came close to him as he played dead, and sniffed him as the crowd cheered. He soon sighed as he felt himself being moved about by Slab. "Help me." He silently said. Jay soon ran by Slab's left, still waving Chew Toy's bell as the sound it was giving off makes it turn to him, and growls before heading over to him.
By the stand, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon were still watching. "We should go." Cole said.
"Maybe not." Dragon replied, looking up to see some chains at the top of The Pit before looking down to see a pulley system for one of them. "I wanna help."
Trudogolik walked along the seats before noticing something and knelt down to see that it was Gewuji's photo. As he looked at it, he soon noticed Dragon heading over to the pulley system as Cole and Gewuji follow him before they both go on each side of Dragon as he prepared to pull the lever, but Trudogolik notices them. "Hey!" He yelled, charging at them. "Get away from that!"
He grabs hold of Cole and moves him aside before coming up to Dragon and grabs hold of him. "Let me go!"
Two Dragon Hunters see it and assume he was trying to attack him for no reason before immediately grabbing hold of him, making him let go of Dragon. "Hurry!" Cole said as he turned to him before he pulled the lever.
The system retracts one of the chains, sending it into The Pit. "Now we go."
"At least now they have something to work with." Gewuji said, passing by the Dragon Hunters restraining Trudogolik, grabbing her photo from his hand.
"Hey, stop!" He yelled, but they ignore him.
Down in The Pit, Kai and Zane come up to the chain. "Time to get creative." Zane said as they grab the chain and ran over to Slab, who is trying to come at Jay, as he was still ringing Chew Toy's bell before Kai soon wrapped one part of the chain around Slab's tail, jumps onto its back, and runs up to its head.
From where he stood, the top hat Dragon Hunter was surprised the chain's presence. "Where the hell did they get that chain?" He asked.
"It must've been from the slave." The Dragon Hunter with the robotic voice replied, pointing out to where the two Dragon Hunters that were still restraining Trudogolik.
Zane moves around Slab's legs, wrapping the chain around them as Jay still distracted it with the bell, causing it to roar as Kai wrapped the chain around one of the pillars, and Zane did the same before they tighten the chains, restraining it while Jay still waved the bell, the top hat Dragon Hunter looked at them, and Trudogolik watched from the stands while still restrained. Slab soon roared before tripping, and falls onto the ground. This got the crowd cheering for their victory as Jay soon moved around. "We did it!" He chanted. "We did it! We did it!"
Slab soon growled as it tries to come at Jay for still annoying it with the bell. "Jay!" Kai yelled out to him before pointing to Slab, and Jay turned to it before Zane comes in front of him, and slams his hands into the ground, creating a trail of Ice that comes up at Slab, completely freezing it solid.
The crowd stopped cheering as the two Dragon Hunters restraining Trudogolik stopped enough for him to break out, and saw the damage done. "What was that?" He asked himself.
"Oni don't have Elemental Powers." The top hat Dragon Hunter said. "They know the ways of the Spinjitzu Master." He turns to the robotic voiced Dragon Hunter. "Hunt. Them. Down."
The robotic voiced Dragon Hunter comes onto the railing and places a hand close to his device. "Hunt them down!" He called out to the Dragon Hunters.
"Hunt them down!" A Dragon Hunter called out before some Dragon Hunters jump from the stands, into The Pit.
"Hunt them down!" Another Dragon Hunter yelled as some were surrounding the three Ninja.
"Who's ready for round 2?" Kai asked before lighting his right hand up with his Fire while Zane did the same with his Ice. "Fire!" Jay just waves the bell about before they immediately move back as Dragon Hunters started to converge on them.
"They are Masters of Elements!" The top hat Dragon Hunter called out. "A week's rations for the hunter who brings them to me in chains!" By one of the entrances at the stands, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon emerge to see the whole thing.
"I count 10."
"There are 15." Zane said, correcting him.
"Yeah, well, you were always better with math. You with us, Jay?"
"We're totally outnumbered." He replied while throwing the bell aside. "They have weapons and we don't. I haven't eaten all day, not to mention showered or shaved in a week. Do you see there are kids in this audience? This level of violence is far too much for them to handle, let alone me."
Zane soon smugly looked. "He's back to normal." He said.
"Good." Kai replied. "Now that our secret's out, let's lay down some heat!" He brings his hands together, emitting Fire while spinning, and fired at the Dragon Hunters, knocking some down. Zane quickly spun to spray a trail of Ice at them, freezing one in place. Jay soon conjured some Lightning, and held it out to two Dragon Hunters, who move to the side to avoid it, but it hits a hunter behind them. They soon fire chains at them. Kai dodges the first one, but a second one wraps around his legs, and the chain started to retract, dragging him along with it, but Zane sprays a trail of Ice at the chain, stopping it before Jay jumped at it, and kicked it, breaking the ice and chain. Kai quickly flipped back to Jay and Zane, and they all poise as Kai hears the crowd cheering. "Is the crowd cheering for us or rooting against us?"
Jay scoffs. "Does it matter?" He asked.
"Yes. Yes, it does!"
The top hat Dragon Hunter growled before turning to the two Dragon Hunters behind Trudogolik. "Throw the slave into The Pit!" He yelled. The Dragon Hunters immediately push Trudogolik over the wall, sending him falling into The Pit.
The Dragon Hunters present immediately back away as Kai, Jay and Zane turn to see him get up. "Take them down, and I will make sure you are properly fed and cleaned!"
Trudogolik slowly moves over to them while holding his hands out, emitting a green glow that immediately shocked them. "He's an Elemental Master too?" Jay asked, completely surprised.
"But what is it?" Kai asked.
Trudogolik soon held one hand out, firing a shot, which they immediately avoid by either cartwheeling, ducking down or rolling forward. They all turn to see the spot where the shot had hit was glowing. "Uranium." Zane said before turning to Trudogolik as he was slowly coming over to them. "He must be related to the lost Master of Uranium."
"'Lost'?" Kai and Jay asked as they immediately use their powers to stop another shot.
"There were rumours that the Master of Uranium and her family went missing during an archaeological search, and were presumed dead. But looking at his powers, he appears to be her child."
"How are we gonna convince him that we're not the enemy?" Kai asked before firing a blast of Fire, which Trudogolik ducked down, doing the split, to dodge, and gets back up.
"It's probably too late for that." Zane soon sprayed a trail of Ice at him. Trudogolik rolls forward to avoid the shot, but soon slid along the trail until Jay fires a bolt of Lightning, hitting Trudogolik, knocking him down before they move aside for him to crash into the frozen Slab behind them.
"Heavy Metal!" The crowd started to chant. "Heavy Metal!"
The robotic voiced Dragon Hunter soon dropped down into The Pit, causing the Dragon Hunters close by to back away as he soon stood up, and looked at the three Ninja. "Uh, I think the crowd likes him." Jay said.
Heavy Metal soon gets out a sword that appeared to be ancient, and held it out before slowly moving up to them. Kai quickly conjures a ball of Fire, and fires it at Heavy Metal. The flame suddenly comes at the sword's blade, which Heavy Metal swings before holding it up until it extinguished. While Kai was astonished by the action, Jay fires a bolt of Lightning and Zane sprays a trail of Ice. Both powers soon came at the blade, the Lightning immediately disappearing, and the Ice enters it, causing Zane to gasp and Jay to awkwardly groan. Heavy Metal soon spun the sword before stabbing it into the ground, and starts advancing toward them. They immediately try to fire their powers again, but they are soon brought into the sword behind him. "That sword, it attracts our power." Zane said. They immediately do Spinjitzu and start hitting every Dragon Hunter coming at them as Heavy Metal picks up a nearby chain, and hurls it, first catching Zane by his feet, then Kai, and finally Jay. The crowd soon cheered for his victory as two Dragon Hunters quickly came up to Trudogolik, and hold him down.
By the stand, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon look at each other and immediately leave.
From where he stood, the top hat Dragon Hunter laughs as he took off his hat, revealing a black mohawk.
