Halloween House of Horror
~Chapter 3~
No P.O.V
Wakko woke up again in the same room, except the Animatronics were gone. 'What the? Where did they go?' He realized he had the ability to move now and wasn't tied up anymore, but he was still gagged. As hard as he tried to get the gag off, it wouldn't come off. He was forever bound to talk in muffles until he found some scissors or something.
He realized there was a door to the left of the room. He left the room, only to find a security office with cameras all around what looked like a diner or restaurant. He looked at the monitor on the table and saw a camera name that stood out among the rest. 'Show stage? What's on that camera?'
He checked the camera, and found the two animatronic models he'd seen the first time he woke up. 'Whoa. They seem huge on the camera. Almost 7 feet tall. Wait, is mine moving?' Indeed, Spring-Wakko was, in fact, moving. The camera feed cut for a moment, before turning back on to show Spring-Wakko walking towards his office.
The phone started ringing. Once he picked up the phone, he knew exactly who was on the other end. "Hello Wakky~" Wakko dropped the phone, then picked it back up. "So that I can understand anything that you're saying, I would like to inform you there's a pair of scissors in the bottom drawer." Wakko opened the bottom drawer of the desk, got the scissors and cut the gag off.
"Bleh, that gag tasted horrible. Anyway, where am I?" South chuckled for a second before answering him. "I guess only Dot would recognize that place. I bought the Warner Café and turned it into 'Warner Bros. Pizza' just for this occasion." Wakko rolled his eyes.
"Just get to the point, South. I know these things want to tear me to shreds, I saw the bloodstain on the edge of Spring-Wakko's hat. How do I stop them?" South chuckled again. "Well, I guess someone's not feeling polite today, huh? Fine. I'll tell you how to protect yourself." Wakko sighed in annoyance and relief.
"First is Spring-Wakko. I'm sure he moved already, and is already in party room 3." Wakko gulped as he switched the cameras to party room 3. He really was there, and was staring at the dead center of the camera. His eyes looked odd, though. Instead of the shiny black ovals they usually were, they were two little white dots in their sockets. It's almost like he took his eyes out of his sockets to show the lights that illuminated them.
"Wakko, are you even listening?" Wakko snapped out of his thoughts. "Huh? No, I wasn't. I was paying attention to Spring-Wakko. What did you say?" South sighed in irritation. "I said, Spring-Wakko comes in your office every now and again. When he enters, don't move a muscle. One of his statistics to tell if something is alive is if it moves. Just don't move and you'll be fine." Wakko nodded.
"Now Spring-Yakko, he's a different case. He'll climb through the vents towards your office. There's no way to stop him from getting to your office, but there is a way to stop him from killing you. When he enters your office, you need to hide under the desk. How he deals with 'Intruders' is when he identifies that there is a person or Toon in the building, he'll turn off the power to make it harder for his target to escape. Then he'll come to the office, and kill you." Wakko gulped and nodded.
"Initially, he was only supposed to capture the intruder until the cops arrived or until it turned dawn and the dayshift came in and dealt with it, but an 'Accident' happened during his performance causing him to permanently glitch and almost get me sued by angry parents." Wakko tilted his head slightly and asked "What was the 'Accident'?" South sighed.
"It was some dumb teens bullying a kid, and it ended with the teens putting the kid in Spring-Wakko's mouth. The kid was balling his eyes out, and his tears made the safety mechanism malfunction and crush the kids head like a ripe melon. The sickening crunch and snaps still disgust me. I wasn't all that phased though. I've seen worse, trust me."
Wakko nodded and wrapped up the conversation. Once he hung up, he realized it was 4am, and the sun would rise in two hours. Just then, he heard metallic footsteps coming down the hallway. He stood perfectly still as Spring-Wakko scanned him. It just stood there, staring at him. Waiting for him to move an inch. It stepped back a couple of steps and processed the information. After it was done, it walked away.
Wakko checked the clock. 'It's covered in spilt coffee, but its 5am. Someone really needs to clean that clock. Speaking of which, once I get my hands on South I'll clean her clock, if you know what I mean. …And you're talking to yourself. Great.' A metallic thump in the vent interrupted Wakko's thoughts. He remembered Spring-Yakko's mechanics and immediately flung himself under the desk. Spring-Yakko came into the office moments later, and walked around for a minute before leaving.
Wakko's heart was pumping as it left. He was shaking just thinking about how close of a call that was. In fact, he was shaking so much he could barely keep his balance. He fell over and sat on the ground for a minute. He sat in shock trying to process what happened. He was snapped out of his thoughts when the clock chimed at 6am, signifying that he was free from this part of her "Game."
The phone rang once again. Wakko picked it up and of course, it was South on the other end. "Congrats on finishing your first night Wakky. I didn't think you would make it. Well, you probably won't make it through the next night, since I'm getting a new animatronic delivered. On the bright side, you'll be getting a door installed tomorrow, too. And trust me, you'll need it. Well, see ya next night!" Wakko couldn't get a word in. "No, wait-" South hung up. Wakko sighed in irritation.
As Wakko was about to explore the diner, a video started playing on the monitor. It was a camera feed of the accident. Wakko watched it through and almost upchucked when the kid's head crunched. The kid seemed oddly familiar, but he just couldn't place it. Then a rush of memories from his time at the facility came flooding back.
'Jaeger! That's Jaeger! But, how was he alive? He should have died! Then again, I've never seen him without his hat off… So then why did he help me and my siblings? He should have hated all of us! Maybe… He doesn't blame us? Well, that would explain it. Then why did he never tell me? I understand that's not something that you should just tell the whole world, but he should have at least hinted it. Maybe he was nice to me because if I found out, he wouldn't want me to feel bad? I don't know, but I'm getting a headache. Wait a second…'
Wakko passed out. Sleeping gas had been seeping into the office while he was thinking. Jack and James dragged him away so that no one would notice him. And as he was stored away, people came in, ate pizza, and watched the animatronics perform until closing time.
