3rd POV Cole's apartment
Cole just got out of the shower and is drinking a blood bag and watching the news. "Don't be amused it's just the news, this is Nadja Chamack reporting live from the Agreste Mansion, where a brutal three-way murder has taken place. Gabriel Agreste, Nathalie Sancoeur, and an unidentified male was found dead by young Adrien Agreste. I have Lt. Raincomprix here, who has offered to give an interview." The camera turns to an older cop with red hair. Chamack walks up to him and asks some questions. "Lt. Raincomprix, do you have any leads that you can share?" "No miss, we have no idea what or who caused this." "What is going to happen to Adrien Agreste?" " We are trying to contact family members. No further questions." The officer walks off and Nadja speaks into the camera, "There you have it Paris, we will continue to cover this story as it develops." Cole rolls his eyes and gets ready to work at the bakery.
Class (Alya's house) Alya's POV
I'm sitting in my room with Alix, Nino, Kim, Nathanael, Mylene, Max, Juleka, Rose, Lila, Ivan, and Sabrina. Adrien couldn't come because he has to wait at the police station for a family member. I looked at everyone present and said, "OK Max, what did you find on the new kid?" "Well, I hacked into the United States birth records, and I only found one person with his name, Colton 'Cole' Jones, born in 1850 in Mystic Falls, Virginia," Max replies. Kim looks confused, "I think you found the wrong person, Max," he said. Max turns to him and says, "I thought that too, but I found some old pictures from a ceremony called the 'Founders' Ball' and you can clearly see Cole in one of them." He then takes a picture and passes it around the circle. I'm stunned to see Cole standing in a picture from the 1860s. I look at Max, "Did you find any dead records with the same name?" "Yes I did," he replies, typing on his computer. "Cole Jones was shot and killed in the Battle of Willow Creek, in 1864, alongside his older brother. Both bodies were never found." We all were silent. Then Lila said, "I remember ghost stories that my aunt would tell me, and one of them was about vampires." We look at each other and think that it's possible. Max types 'Mystic Falls,Virginia and vampires' into his computer. He then says "hey guys, look at this." We crowd around Max's computer, "This town has had many animal attacks and missing person reports going back years," Max explains. "OK, Max, can you find out what a vampire's weaknesses are?" I ask him. "Already on it, Alya," He responds. After a few minutes Max explains that a vampire's weaknesses are invitations, vervain, sunlight, magic, and wood. "We can find vervain in the park," Juleka whispers. "But that doesn't explain how he can walk around in daytime and come to school" Rose interjected. "Well let's get some vervain first then deal with him and Mari-brat, because she's untouchable with him around," I calmly say. We all nod and head to the park.
Bakery Cole's POV
Marinette and I have gotten close. I noticed that she would stare at me, then look away whenever I turn around. Her parents have warmed up to me quickly too. I'm at the front desk taking orders when I see Adrien come in. "Hello Adrien what can I get for you?" I ask with a fake smile. "I want to talk to Marinette," he demands. "Well why?" "None of your business. That's why." He responds, getting in my face. Then Tom comes out "Oh hello Adrien. Why are you here?" He asked. "I want to see Marinette." He repeats. "Why do you want to see my daughter?" Tom asks Adrien. "Well I want to take her out." Adrien deadpanned. "No, now get out." Tom demands. Adrien looks mad, but he leaves. "Tom can I ask you something?" I ask Tom. "Of course Cole." "Would you and Sabine be mad if I ask Marinette out to the movies?" I ask him. Tom smiles and says "Marinette has a crush on you so you have my blessing, but if you hurt her, I'm coming after you." I nod and finish working. After I helped clean up, I went to Marinette's room. I knocked and heard her say come in. I went in and I asked "Mari would you like to go out to lunch next weekend?" "I would love to, on one condition," She replies. I'm surprised but say "What's the condition?" She looks me in the eyes and says, "Turn me into a vampire. "I look at her like she went crazy, "Why do you want me to turn you?" I ask her. She responds, "Because I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Then she kisses me and I kiss her back. When we break apart I tell her "You know I won't hide this from your parents right?" "I know." I nod at her and tell her to wait here. I head to the living room where Tom and Sabine are. "Tom, Sabine, umm, Marinette wants me to turn her into a vampire." They look at each other and giggle. "We know Cole. She talked to us about it. She loves you and she'll still love you even if you don't turn her." I think about it. "OK I'll do it. I'll go get some things I need from the apartment. I'll meet you three in the living room." They nod and I get a daylight ring and a blood bag for Mari and head back to the bakery.
Class Alya's POV
We got the vervain and Max told us to mix it in water bottles, then we'll give one to Cole and see if he reacts to it. "And if he does?" I ask Max. "Then we play it off as a mistake and find a way to kill him," Max replies.
Bakery Cole POV
Cole returned to the bakery and found Marinette and her parents in the living room. Cole then explained what needs to happen to transition into a vampire, the upsides, and the downsides vampire. After he explained it all to Marinette and her parents, he said, "Do you still want to turn?" Marinette responded by kissing him. He then bit his wrist, and let Marinette drink his blood. After a minute he kissed her and looked at Tom and Sabine. They nodded to him as did Marinette, he used his vamp strength to snap Marinette's neck as quickly and painlessly as possible. He laid her on the couch. "Now we just have to wait," he said.
