Kazumi, Myuu and Rachel walk together at the academy, and the moment they got there, everyone stops and notice Rachel walking beside Kazumi. It was a shock and confuse to everyone, as they did not expect her to walk beside Kazumi, while he just keeps walking, annoyed that they continue to stare at him.
Before they left, the three had to deal with what Ryūken had to say about the arrange marriage between Kazumi and Rachel. Ryūken decides to explain the situation and what happen in the past.
"Well, long ago, me and Rachel's mother, back before we even thought of marriage, we both stayed together in this world and eventually rented a house together. In time, I thought of proposing to her, but she refused and married a human." Ryūken looks to Kazumi and Rachel "You two would've been perfect brother and sister."
"You think so?" Rachel asks
Kazumi scoffs "I doubt it."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"So, why did she refuse to marry you?" Myuu asks
"I probably know the reason." Kazumi replies
"She actually had interest with someone else and chose to marry him."
"She friend zoned you." Kazumi replies "Just admit it."
"NO… Yes… But anyways, we both did promise that if we both had children with different genders, it be possible to arrange a marriage between the two. So as of now, Kazumi, you'll be married to Rachel."
The thought about the marriage again brought shock and fluster to only Myuu and Rachel, as one would grow jealous over this and the other too shy and hatred to allow this to be wed to Kazumi. As for Kazumi, the thought of actually getting married with someone he never met before and knew his relationship with her was going to go from bad to worse, infuriated him deeply from this.
Rachel tries to speak out first "There's no way I –"
"That's never going to happen." Kazumi replies and got both girls to look at him "This isn't some stupid nobility or any of the sort, so I can marry whoever I want and choose whoever I want."
"Well, later tonight, we'll be visiting her family and have another get-together, just like old times. Perhaps if you two could think this through for tonight or perhaps when you get to know her more in that school of yours, you might change your mind." Ryūken replies
"And why should I?" Kazumi asks, then turns to Rachel and replies "No offense, but I don't know you. Things aren't the same as you once remember long ago, and I don't intend on falling through another relationship that will end in just misery. I won't."
"It's been a long time since you ended it with your girlfriend." Ryūken says to him that gets his attention back at him "How long do you intend on falling through that abyss."
". . . ." Kazumi lowers his eyes down for a moment, kept his mouth close and his teeth grinding together through the thought of thinking about her. There was a brief moment of him going demonic eyes, but he turns away and returns to his room.
Back at school, just as they arrive at the front entrance, they did notice someone at the front offering pamphlets to students at the front, which ends with someone knocking half of them to the floor and this person kept walking. The girl crouches down to pick up the papers, but got help from Myuu when she came up to offer her help to her. Just as she looks up, she takes the pamphlets and soon pauses when her eyes look straight at Kazumi, who she knew who he was straight away. While she was friends with Myuu, she ends up gasping and makes a run for it back inside the school.
"W-Wait, don't –" Myuu stops and sighs, then looks back to Kazumi, who just looks forward.
"It's not my fault these people hate me." Kazumi continues to walk with the two following from behind. Both look to one another, then towards Kazumi.
"Why am I still following this guy?" Rachel thought to herself and continues to walk behind Kazumi. She looks to the people that look back at them, which made things much awkward and expect to deal with a lot of explanation when she reunites with her friends.
Things also got even bad for Kazumi when Haruka decides to come charging in from behind Kazumi. As she calls out his name, he turns around and she latches herself onto him that forces him to take a few steps back. Both Myuu and Rachel both gasps when they saw him got close to him, since in times like this, despite not showing feelings for Kazumi, they do end up showing negative reactions of him being close to another girl and make them jealous about it.
"H-Hey, hey, hey… What do you think you're doing?" Kazumi asks her
"Did you really think were done?" Haruka asks "And after everything you said to me, you are here with these two girls following you."
Kazumi sighs and looks away "Great, I've forgotten all about you."
"How rude. How can you forget about me, after everything that happened last night?"
"Last night?" Rachel raise her voice and got some people nearby to hear that.
"Not so loud." Kazumi replies "And nothing happen."
"Awww, how can you say that?" Haruka replies and looks in seductively "You became such a bad man to me."
". . . ." Kazumi was unhappy about that comment that even made Myuu and Rachel blush about it. He replies to this by flicking her forehead and turns around to go straight to his classroom.
"Ow! You so stupid, Kazumi!" Haruka calls out to him when he keeps walking.
Before Kazumi was about to go through the doorway, he stops and finds Reece about to go in first and decides to let him go through. He did not say anything to Kazumi, shown no anger towards him or any fear in his eyes about what he did to his finger. Reece actually acts like nothing happen to him, so this made Kazumi look back towards Haruka, who he knows had something to do with this new change with Reece.
Finally in class session, Kazumi remains at the back with Myuu and still deal with Haruka sitting on the other table next to him. He did have Reece sitting next to her, but shown not much attention towards the others and knew that there was magic done to him through his mind. For now, Kazumi tries to focus on the things ahead with the teacher and ignore everything else around him, especially those who continue to talk to him behind his back.
In Rachel's class, right after they were ready to leave the classroom, her friends comes up to her to ask her about the situation that has happen and ask if this relationship with Kazumi was real.
"Were not dating! It's just a misunderstanding."
"Then why are you flustering?" One of them asks and made her both fluster and mad at him altogether
"I… It's none of your business…"
"But you have to tell us something?" One of the girls asks "You mentioned he was your old friend, so does that mean you two were once close?"
". . . ." Rachel remains quiet and just sighs from that. She thought to herself "He's not special to me anymore, neither does he want to know about me…" She stops and looks shock at these sudden feelings, which turns to anger at thinking about him. This also made her think about some moments she had with him, especially the one where he was no wearing a shirt, which made her blush and feel embarrass about it.
After class, Kazumi gets up first and Myuu asks him "Say, Kazumi, where will you be eating?"
"Probably on the roof." Kazumi replies "I'm better with the peace and quiet up there."
"Oh… If… If you want, you can still eat with my friends. I'm part of a social club, so you might make some friends there."
"We talked about this before, it won't work."
"You don't know unless you try."
"Hmmm…." Kazumi looks to the left to Reece leaving, then looks to Haruka and asks "What did you do to him?"
Haruka stops and keeps her back towards Kazumi. She shrugs and replies "Nothing." Then finally looks back to him "I didn't hurt him, only change his memories, like I promised you."
"You would only do that if I go on a date with you. I'm not going on a date with you."
"I'll eventually get what I want." Haruka smiles "And I'll find a way to get through to you." She looks back and finally departs from the room.
After class, with the three leaving separate ways and have Myuu the only one concerning about Kazumi with the people talking behind his back. She would watch Kazumi from a far and planning on going to the club to see her friends, but would expect something would happen between him and the other two girls. Things would come out when he decides to confront Rachel to speak to her, which forces her friends to step in the way, as they still see him as a threat and refuse to have him get any closer to Rachel.
"That's as far as you can go, Kazumi."
Kazumi actually stops and places his hands in his pockets "Are you idiots still protecting her? If your master tells you all to sit, would you all do it? Actually, don't answer that question, because it's obvious you would do it."
Angered at that, one of them that had bad past with Kazumi was ready to step forward to challenge him like before. Rachel finally intervenes and decides to speak to Kazumi alone and finally found an area where they could speak without having people watching them from the distance. Rachel remains leaning against the wall with her arms cross, while Kazumi looks out at the people in the distance that would soon look away when he was looking back at them.
Rachel thought to herself "I wonder what's going on inside his mind right now? His father said he had a girlfriend. What did she do to make you dislike girls so much?"
Kazumi looks to Rachel and asks "What did your parents say about this marriage deal?"
"They didn't complain much about it, as they thought it was no big of a deal. Both our family know each other and we both don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend –"
"You don't have a boyfriend?" Kazumi stops her "I don't believe you."
"Is that really a problem?"
"I find it hard to believe that you're not glued to someone here. You got these people under your heel like a queen. No way am I going to kneel before you."
"I'm not asking you to knee." Rachel steps off the wall "Look, I was sorry for actually attacking you that day, but I'm willing to be nice around you, but you seem to be impossible to deal with. What is it that makes you dislike me and the others so much? Is it about that ex-girlfriend of yours?"
". . . ."
"I knew it!" Rachel steps closer to Kazumi "It does have something to do with a girl. I take it this attitude of yours is probably the reason why your girlfriend dumped you?"
Kazumi's eyes went demonic when he stares back to Rachel and mutters "Don't…"
"So you don't want to be close to any girls, because of one girl problem? You should move on."
"Move on and get close to you? That's never going to happen."
"This isn't about me. This isn't healthy, you know, especially with one girl that lives in another school. You can't treat all girls the same as this one girl."
Kazumi steps closer and grabs her shirt, pulled her closer to him to show his demonic eyes, as well as his angry look on his face. He would remove his demonic eyes, calmed himself down and slowly loosen the grip he had on her before replying to her. "It wasn't just one girl… It was seven girls that pissed me off."
"What?" Rachel changes her expression to shock and asks "You dated seven girls!?"
"What? N-No." Kazumi lowers his arm and steps back from her "I only dated one… Two of them became complicated and the others just wanted to make my life a living hell."
"Well, let me ask you this." Rachel places her hands on her hips and asks "Do you think we'll end up like them?"
Kazumi remains quiet for a while until he finally responds "You are just like one of them. She thought she could control the school and do whatever she wants. You may have all these people under your thumb, but you'll never make me kneel to you."
"It's not my fault that these people don't like you."
"They can hate me all they want, and hanging around with you will be a nightmare for me. You should consider staying away from me, it'll be better for the both of us." And after that, Kazumi takes his leave from her.
". . . ." Rachel was tempting to say something, which made her grab onto his arm to stop him all the sudden. She was surprise that she did this, especially about all the things she did and wants him out of her life. However, there was a side of her that she does feel sorry for Kazumi and is someone who does wish to help those who refuse to ask for it.
"What is it?" Kazumi turns his head to the left with one eye to Rachel
"I… Forget it, it's nothing." Rachel lowers her hand away from him and also turns her head away from him.
Kazumi looks forward and takes his leave from her. She would join the others and deal with the talking, which she ends up saying that there is no relationship between her and Kazumi and probably never happen between the two. As for Kazumi, he finally goes to the rooftop to relax by himself and get something to eat before the bell rings. He remains alone, which was something that could give him some satisfaction to finally not deal with people staring back at him and annoying him.
"Can I join you?" Myuu arrives that catches his attention and decides to sit down in front of him.
"What about your friends?" Kazumi asks
"It'll be alright. And perhaps with me here with you, others might change what they think about you. I don't want no for an answer."
Kazumi sighs and replies "Fine, stay all you want with me."
The two remain quiet for a while when they eat, but Kazumi would ask something first to Myuu "That friend of yours at the front gate that was offering pamphlets to… What's that about?"
"Oh? She was asking for volunteers to join this social club with her and her friends. One of them left the club, so she asks for another member to join. She also asked if I could help find a candidate, since she believes I could do a better job."
"Yeah, you would do a better job." Kazumi's eyes looks down at her body for a moment, then turn his eyes away before Myuu would notice him staring at her.
"Were you… Part of a club?" Myuu asks "You must've had friends at your other school, right?"
"I had friends… One of them… She... She wanted me to join this club with her.
"So you actually joined a club? That's good."
"At first I only joined because I thought maybe it be perfect to get closer to her. I was such a fool."
"Oh…" Myuu looks down in unhappy, but she would try to continue to explore this part of Kazumi that she does not know and asks "What was the club like?"
"It was a gaming club with four girls. We did both sports and whatever weird fun they can come up with. It was fun for a while, but it did feel like a nightmare when two of them are abusive bitches. One of them happen to be the popular girl in school, who really enjoyed watching me squirm and suffer." He sighs deeply and tightens his hands against his arms that just thinking about her got him mad and mutters to himself "Whore…"
"So, Rachel –"
"Looking at Rachel, she's more related, but this girl was more demanding and with a cruel personality. We always lock horns most of time, and I'm the one who always lose against her. If they were looking for volunteers, she'd probably force them in and not care how much damage she does to them."
"That must be tough."
"Despite her cruel personality, she eventually shown a kinder side to me and her friends. I still didn't like her. As for the other girl…" Kazumi sighs in disgusts "She's definitely a Tsundere…"
"What do you mean?"
"One time she actually slapped me through a real stupid problem, and I was trying to help her with the computer. I looked back at her to explain something, one of her friends pushed her close to me and I landed my face on…" Kazumi looks away and sighs "Damn idiot slapped me, and after everything I did for her and she still doesn't think I'm the victim. She's just a stupid idiot… I can't believe she actually…" He stops and remains quiet when thinking about that moment.
A moment of thought came to mind when he was sitting in front of a computer and turns his head to the left to look at the girl he mentions. This took place sometime ago after the event with the computer and his face against her breasts, and a few days after his confession went rejection to Erika at the fireworks. This girl, who was in the same age as Erika, steps up to finally have a chance to confess to him, as it was him that became the reason for her joining this club and never told anyone about it. During the whole thing, while Kazumi remains looking at his computer for a bit, the moment felt like a shy confession, and with Kazumi finally focusing his attention onto her, she remains stubborn to actually say it out loud to him. The others remain hidden, but kept their heads out to watch and see if she has what it takes to actually confess herself onto him. After she finally told him how she felt, Kazumi ends up telling her what he really felt about her.
"This is ridiculous." Kazumi replies and looks back at the computer "It's not funny."
"B-But… It's the truth!"
"You're lying." Kazumi keeps his face onto the computer "As if you actually like me… And even if you did…" He turns his eyes back to her with a serious look on his face "I don't feel the same way about you."
And after that, he ignores her about to shed tears down her face and ends the vision here when the bell goes off. Luckily for Kazumi, he finish eating and finally went to return to his subjects. One happens to be sport and they are playing soccer. They all change to get ready for a match, while also catching many attention of those inside the locker room when Kazumi enters the room. He ignores them for now, but one did bump him on purpose to get attention, which ends with Kazumi pushing him in forward to make him slam against the wall. A fight was close of happening, with three boys ready to fight Kazumi, who all happen to be members of Rachel's circle. However, one of them, who Kazumi knows well, and knew exactly what would happen if they fight, decided to step in to make sure this never happens and eventually got them to leave.
It was a good day to play soccer, with the teams ready and leaving Kazumi stuck as the goal keeper. Nobody did not really wish for him out there, so his own team decides to allow him to play as the goal keeper and hope that the opposing team could kick a few balls at him instead of the goal itself. Before the game starts, the one that was tempting to have a fight with Kazumi, had fun with the ball by performing soft kicks to leave the ball with him, but would quickly kick the ball straight at Kazumi the moment he had his back towards them when he approaches the goals. Of course, Kazumi was one step ahead, as his powerful reflexes was enough to turn around on time, moved his left hand in front of his face and knocks the ball away from him. Surprised look came at him and everyone who saw him, never expect for him to actually block that well without even looking. Only the teacher was impress, expected that he will do much well as the goal keeper.
"Begin!" Called the teacher and the match starts with a quick maneuverer to have the enemy team have the ball first.
The game went quick with the enemy team getting closer to the goals of Kazumi. There are those that pretend to stop them, but still wants them to have the enemy team kick the ball towards him. He easily catches it, throws it straight towards the one who thought of hitting him in the back with the ball earlier. Kazumi was actually enjoying this for once, just to watch others fail at any attempts of humiliating him. The enemy did succeed a second time on kicking the ball to him, which he easily catches again and tosses it back out to his teammates. The match goes on until his side finally got a goal.
The teacher blows the whistle to stop the match "Alright, that's halftime, so switch sides and change your goal keepers."
Kazumi steps up to take the middle point to face the opposing player on who could get their feet onto the ball first. When the two face to face one another, his enemy smiles and replies "Looking forward to seeing you fall on the dirt."
"Your one of Rachel's friends?" Kazumi asks "Go get yourself a life with someone else."
He scoffs and replies "Some of these people still don't like you, so it's you –"
Suddenly the teacher blows the whistle and Kazumi was the first to kick the ball away from him. Dumfounded at what happen, he remain standing there for a few seconds, watched as Kazumi manage to manoeuvre through a few of his soccer mates and almost succeeds on kicking a goal. Everyone thought he got this, but the goal keeper manage to dive in to grab it on time and throw it back out to the enemy team. Kazumi looks back to the one that still remains watching in the middle, left smiling to himself, despite missing the goal, he still prove to be better than the people here. This was just the beginning, as Kazumi was in level match with some who are professional at this game, but still prove to be difficult to get the ball off when he got it. It did not take long until half of the team decides to support Kazumi and play like he was just like a normal student at this school, while some remain slacking off.
Throughout the match, Kazumi was good at this, and with some still upset that he is not an easy worm to crush, one of them would play as a sacrificial pawn to get the upper hand on Kazumi. One of his own teammates, frustrated that he was not sharing the ball and comes up to him on his left, while an enemy player was on his right and trying to get the ball off of him. Kazumi suddenly stops, moved over the ball and use his foot to make the ball stop, and force the two to run forward to look back at Kazumi getting around them. He went straight for the enemy goals and finally succeeds this time on getting a point for his team. Exhausted from the run too much, Kazumi returns back on his side and allow someone else to get the lead in the middle, as well as ignoring those that still have a grudge against him.
At the end, his team won and the teacher calls this a wrap. He was impress at some that did their job, especially towards Kazumi, which also made him get praise by some in the locker room, and those that still hate him, remains to show their hatred towards him. But they refuse to make a move on him right now, so he stays out of this and eventually withdraws.
"You got some skills." One of the friendly ones approaches Kazumi
"Thanks."
"You should participate in the upcoming sports match. You might actually help this year's match."
"No thanks." Kazumi looks to him for a moment "That's never going to happen." Then turns away and leaves the locker room.
The boy follows and asks "You don't really look like a delinquent, like everyone else said."
"Sorry to disappoint you." Kazumi keeps walking and never looks back at him
"Oh, no… I don't mean to offend you, but the rumours about you and Rachel –"
"There is no relationship between me and Rachel." Kazumi interrupts him "I'm sure you could spread that rumour out there. Maybe that'll give these idiots off my back." His eyes looks to the ones who think they could harass him, noticed them just staring back at him when he walks past them and keeps walking.
"Ever since you showed up, we finally have someone to actually stand up to them. One time, some new kid got too closer to Rachel and got beaten up because of them. He kept his mouth shut, but the next time he gets closer to their goddess, they'll attack."
"Teachers seem to be pretty pathetic in this place." Kazumi replies "To let the followers of that messiah get all the fun they want with picking on others."
"You've started a rumble here, but I'm sure Rachel can deal with this if she knows what's going on."
"Keep relying on people to clean up your mess then you'll never get things done around here by yourself." Kazumi replies
"I guess you're right. Thank you."
". . . ." Kazumi stops and looks back in confusion to him "Thank you?"
The student turns away and leaves the room, while Kazumi soon follows next. The fight between the other students never happen after session, which made Kazumi feel relief and walks by himself until he joins Myuu on the next session for school.
After school, Haruka came home late, decided to stay with her friends for a few hours and came home later. She knew that staying out a while longer would get her mother to have her naughty time with her father, as she knew those two would do behind her back. However, when she arrives home, she found the lights off outside and inside, the door was unlock and she went in with a happy mood. Except her mood changes when she came inside to find no lights up for her and it was dark, so she turns on the lounge room lights to find nobody around. She sighs and decides to go to the bedroom to see if they are still having sex. While she did not wish to interrupt them, she was hungry for normal food and had no choice but to interrupt them, except the only thing different is that she cannot hear anything, not a single moan or any voice from them in the bedroom or anywhere.
When she walks to the bedroom to discover the door open, she steps by the doorway, turned on the lights, and left surprise to find the bed completely tidy and no sign of them having sex here. Confused and unsure where they are, she starts turning on a few lights until she stops at the living room. The closer she got to the living room, she could smell the stench of something rotten, which made her cover her nose and moves along the side of the wall to hit the switch. This was where her father was, except he was the smell of a rotting corpse on the floor. Haruka pauses for a moment, inhaled deeply and begins breathing heavily to find the living room in a mess with her father lying dead on the floor, stabbed in the chest by a sharp object. Haruka then screams out loud, shocked and upset, as her happy mood changes so quickly to see her father dead. She rushes over to call him, dropped down to her knees and begins shaking his body to see if he could move, which she truly wish that he is still alive and deny the fact that he is long gone. She eventually stops and places her hands against her face, left crying a lot and weeping over his death. However, she did realise that her mother was not here, so she looks around to find any sign of her inside the house, but there was no sign of her anywhere.
One hour later, Kazumi had a shower and returns to his room to change clothes. He sighs again in annoyance that he has to leave with Myuu and his father to meet up with Rachel's family. Myuu was already ready to leave, and will leave shortly, just as long as Kazumi gets out of the shower and get ready to go.
Just as he was ready to go, he stops and finds that magical symbol appearing on his floor again. This was coming from Haruka, which he was not in the mood to deal with her again at this time. Haruka appears before him through the teleportation magic she perform, and instead of wearing that revealing outfit from last time, she still wears her school uniform and still in a completely mess.
"Haruka, what are you…." Kazumi stops and look confuse to see Haruka looking back at him in a miserable state.
Haruka left her mouth open to say absolutely nothing for a while, due to still being traumatise at what happen that she cannot say anything towards Kazumi. She crosses her arms, continued showing tears and leave Kazumi with confusion as to what kind of game is she planning. Things get a little bad when Myuu shows up to find Haruka in the room and upset about something.
"Haruka? Why is she… What did you do?" Myuu turns to Kazumi
"I'm confuse as you are. She just got here."
Haruka would finally speak out towards Kazumi and says "Help me…"
And with still in confusion as to what kind of help that Kazumi could do, answers would finally come to Haruka and told all three of them that her father is dead. Kazumi help bring Haruka into the living room to see Ryūken and have him deal with the next girl in Kazumi's life. The mood got tense and sadden when Haruka finally told them that her father is dead, although, only Kazumi was not completely certain that she was telling the truth.
"This doesn't make sense…" Kazumi replies "Your father is dead and your mother is missing… And if is really truthful to –"
"I am telling the truth!" Haruka raise her voice and looks to Kazumi with an angry look for a moment, until she looks back down in depress "If you want the truth… See my father at the hospital… He's in a bag and –" She pauses for a moment at Kazumi, then looks away and hides her depression.
"Kazumi… She's telling the truth…" Myuu replies softly towards him
"But why come here?"
"Because there's no one like me that I can talk to… And help me."
"And how exactly are we supposed to help you?" Kazumi asks
"Help me find the people that took my mother!" Haruka looks back to Kazumi "My mother is a succubus, which means she has left her scent, just like how I…" She pauses again and turns her eyes to the side when saying this "Placed my scent into your room."
Kazumi sighs
"Just help me… She's all I have left and…" Haruka looks back to Kazumi and decides to bow her head down towards him, with her face looking down at the floor and continues "I'll do anything. I'll never both you again if you want that."
". . . ."
"Doesn't this satisfy you?" Haruka asks and keeps her face looking down at the floor "To watch a girl like me to suffer and fall in despair like this?"
Kazumi turns away from her and away from the other two. He sighs again and looks back to Rachel to respond "I'll do it."
"I should go too." Myuu replies "You need me."
"Guess we'll be pulling that raincheck on going to see the others." Ryūken replies and takes out a phone "It's okay. This is important, and you of all people knows a thing or two about losses."
Kazumi turns his eyes towards Ryūken for a moment with a discomfort look on his face. He looks back to Haruka and replies "Where should we start the search then?"
And so with that all agree, the three leave during the night with Haruka leading taking the lead and moving through without being watch by people below. She had no choice but to return to the scene of the crime, but when she got closer to her house, the more uneasy she became and begins to feel the shakes happening to herself at thinking about the loss of her father.
Myuu comes closer to Haruka and asks "It's okay to be scared, Haruka."
Haruka looks back to Myuu with still a sadden look on her face, as well as signs of her eyes getting watery. "T-Thank you…" She then turns away and looks back at her house "My mother made this family come true. She found my father, never bother to seduce him with her charms, he was straight up in love with her. She really loved him."
"The church…" Kazumi said quietly, but the two did hear what he said and both turn their attention towards him.
"The church?"
Kazumi turns his head to the two and explains "Father did mentioned something about a group of extremists from the church. He said they hunt monsters and perform both an exorcist on the person and a purge on the body if they deem too late to be saved."
"And you brought this up now!" Haruka replies
"I don't know if they are involved… The more we wait here, the more your mother could be in trouble."
"Kazumi, don't say that." Myuu replies and steps closer to him
"Hmmmm…." Haruka turns away from Kazumi and flies down on the ground, removing her wings and takes a few steps closer to the house to catch the scent of her mother's perfume. When she caught the scent, she turn to the others, then looks forward and begins moving on foot to search the place for her mother.
A succubus' scent was easy to track from those who are already like her, or those who are either demons or humans who fell prey to the sight of a succubus. Hazuka continues to make haste, while both Kazumi and Myuu had to run beside her to keep her close in case something happens. It would be a while before they could find where she was, but they found themselves on the other side of the city. Kazumi did contact Ryūken on phone to tell him where he was and what is going on, which he finds out that Ryūken is already with Rachel and her family at her house. A moment of thought did come to Rachel, tempted to go out there to assist and help, but they decide to leave this to Kazumi and the others. However, things would look bad when they found themselves at an awkward position, as they made it to the location where Haruka's mother could be.
"This isn't good." Myuu shakes her head and stands beside the two in front of the building "It's a church…"
"I guess it was them afterall." Kazumi replies and looks to Haruka "You sure this the right place?"
"My mom's scent brought me here. She has to be here."
Kazumi looks back to the church and uses his demonic eyes, which only made him get a headache all the sudden, as the power of the wards from the church blocks anything a demon could perform. He sighs a bit from the headache, but it dies away a few seconds after removing his demonic eyes.
"I can't say right now…"
"I'm going in." Haruka steps forward and looks back to the two with serious in her eyes "I'm going to save my mother."
"You do realise it's a holy place, right?" Kazumi asks with his arms cross
"Yes. Wouldn't you do the same thing if your parents are in there?"
"Did you really have to drop that on me?" Kazumi sighs "Were already here, so we can't turn away from this."
"You sure about this?" Myuu steps next to Kazumi in concern about entering a church. She pinches his arm to get his attention and asks "You know the reason why we can't enter this place."
"We got no choice… Can't really let her go alone." Kazumi follows towards the front door with Haruka
"See, you really do care for others."
"Shut up…"
Haruka goes to the door first, locked up and felt pain the moment she touches the handles. Kazumi steps in and decides to kick the door open, caused enough noise to attract attention from anyone inside, except they found no sign of anyone inside, but the candles and lights remain alight. The demonic presence inside a monastery would cause them to feel weak, as if their life force was depleting, and the longer they remain here the harder it is for them to fight at full strength. While they did find no sign of anyone, they did notice that further ahead at the altar, an underground stairway was found right in front of it, like someone had to drag the altar forward to open up the hatch. They stare down at the stairway for a while until Haruka decides to take the lead and runs down the stairway until she made it to the end. The three found a large dungeon with a group of people down there performing an exorcist on those in front of them, chained up against the chairs, while another was left hanging against something with their arms spread out and took serious scars across this person's body. The moment Haruka saw this woman, she pauses and realise it was her mother, chained up against the wall with her clothes torn up, covered in so many scars and shown her looking down at the ground with blood dripping down her mouth.
"Mother!"
