Prompt: "Shirou summons Ishtar, but it's just Rin, and Rin is still a Master in her own right, and Shirou's command seals don't work on her/are otherwise a non-issue." — Endy (nd7878)

The night sky was cool upon her skin as she floated beside Maanna, observing Fuyuki from up high. Her city, her home, in a sense her property as Second Owner. If she wanted, she could destroy it in an instant now. The power that lay quite literally at her fingertips, granted by some twist of fate.

"You really know how to treat a guy," Archer said, standing comfortably on Maanna with his bow nocked. "Archers usually have to contend with fighting against gravity, not alongside it."

"Don't get the wrong idea," she blushed and looked aside. "It's not for you. It's for the war."

"Right, right." She could hear his cocky smirk, that...!

"It is!" She glared at him. His smirk was smaller than she had pictured, and yet somehow that made it worse. "This is the best way to win!"

"Be honest, you wanted to get away from your 'Master', didn't you?" Archer chuckled, and Rin crossed her arms.

"Emiya doesn't get it," she said. "And don't call him that. He's not participating in the war."

"He did summon you," Archer pointed out. "That does technically make him your Master, even if he doesn't have any Command Seals."

"If he did, I'd have to kill him."

"Be honest with yourself, Rin." His steel gray eyes looked at her, and she shivered. "You really think you could do that?"

"Of course I could!"

His stare intensified, and after a few moments she looked away.

"...maybe I'd just cut the hand off or something..." she mumbled. Archer nodded.

"That's better. You don't want that boy's blood on your hands."

He sighed.

"Bloodstains are impossible to get out."
