Silence.

Beautiful, peaceful silence.

Blissful, calm silence.

And...

I woke, letting a groan escape me as I opened my eyes. I was laying down in a bed, in Medbay, to be specific. I allowed my eyes to adjust to the light before looking around. The first thing I saw was Blue and Purple signing in rapid movements and glancing at their tablets.

"Oh no.. Poor Lime..." Purple whispered, signing the words too. I stayed still for a moment, trying to figure out what each movement meant before giving up.

"W-what happened?" I decided to speak up, and both Crewmates looked across at me - surprised. I knew part of the answer, Ofcourse, but what did they mean, 'Poor lime'? Had something happened other than.. losing .. yellow?

"Well... Green was found dead, as well as Yellow. And.. Well, they found Black suspicious.. they ejected her." Blue shuddered as Purple finished explaining for her. Her hands fell to her side as Purple added, "You passed out before the meeting was called."

I took this information in slowly. So, we lost three in one day of being aboard. So, that leaves: Lime, Me, Pink, Black, White, Orange, Purple, Blue and Red. And there could possibly be impostors among us. Hopefully it was black and that's that.

As I processed it, I started pushing myself out of the bed. I was eager to finish my tasks and the others didn't stop me as I stumbled to Cafeteria. The crowd must of dispersed, only Lime stayed in the Cafeteria - staring out of the window. I walked over to her, tapping her shoulder lightly,

"I'm sorry about Green.." I apologised for her loss as she turned around, fear obvious in her eyes.

"O-oh. It's you, Cyan," She relaxed slightly as she spoke. I smiled and nodded before walking off to complete another task. I glanced at my list and realised I hadn't finished card swipe.

"Damn machine." I muttered to myself and jogged over to Admin again. Pink was stood over the machine and reaching for something in her pocket. Seeing me enter, she pulled out a card and swiped it over the machine effortlessly,

"Accepted." This caused another fit of internal screeching. I took her place as she exited the room and held my card up. I swiped it over the machine and...

"Bad read, Try again." At this, I stomped out of the room, I read the list again, Download data sounds alright. Says here it should take around an hour to download it.I walked to cafeteria and sat down, beginning to download the data. I then selected some random music and listened to it for the best part of an hour. The tune must of numbed my senses, for the next thing I knew, someone was shaking my shoulders and saying something along the lines of, "Your download is completed, Cyan. Cyan? CYAN-"

"What?" I moaned and looked up. It was Red. I stood up and picked up my tablet.

"Your download is complete, you can go upload if you want." He shrugged and walked out of the room towards shields. I walked of towards admin, checking my tablet. The tasks read the same as before and I sighed, I'd have to face the machine again. When I arrived, I began the upload. I just hummed to myself for the first Fifteen Minutes, but after that I got bored. I began fidgeting - I didn't want to zone out again by putting music on, so I pulled out a sketchbook I had managed to smuggle through security. I pulled out a pencil, too, and began to draw. My hands drifted across the paper, and I was soon staring and an image, a gruesome one at that. It was most of the crew, laying dead with their top halves missing.

I... who's missing? I looked closer, to see one shape lurking in the shadows.

Why am I drawing this? I thought, tucking away the pencil and paper and slipping over to the admin room. A metallic clang made me spin around, and I saw a .. tongue? Slipping back through the vents. I ran forward, swinging open the vent... but it was gone.

Huh. Wierd. I'm hallucinating, I'm sure of it. I decided, setting the vent down and turning back to swipe my card. My mind was absent as I did so, and I heard a satisfying beep.

"Accepted." This set me off, and I punched the air, seemingly insane.

"YESSSS!! FINALLY!" I screeched, overjoyed as I paraded round the room. "NO TASK IS TOO HARD, NO-"

"Are you good?-" I turned around to see White staring at me from across the hallway.

"Oh.. erm..." Heat flooded to my cheeks and I looked down, "I conquered the Admin Swipe Task." Was all I could manage, and I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing.

"...right." She said slowly, turning around to enter storage again. I snorted, causing her to look back at me, and quickly sat bolt upright.

"Cya." I said sincerely, innocence lacing my tone.
