Part 4 - Arrest and Reactions

Few days later in La Push...

FBI's cars rolled up to the house of Charlie and Sue Swan-Clearwater, and out came few men and went up to the house. Seth and Leah had promised to stay away from the house, Sue stayed with Emily and Sam all this time, and Billy and Jacob had been banned for now to stay from the house too.

They were let into the house by Charlie who was confused of why they were there in first place, first carried out the computers, then they had Charlie restrained and handcuffed, all neighbours looked on with shock and wonder, as many wondered what was going on with the ex-chief police of Forks Station. Many were shocked that he was arrested and carried away into a car of the FBI's, then one came over to Sam and Emily's house and knocked on the door, and it was Emily who answered and let them in with small smile on her face, and they all sat down first, before they turned to Sue;

"Are you Sue Swan née Clearwater née Uley?"

"Yes you are here to see if I am involved in whatever Charlie has done or been up to?"

"We have to ask you since you are married to him, yes." She nodded at that, said

"I did not know any of this, until a few days ago, when Isabella, Charlie's daugther, called Paul here, for she had feeling that he was taking it badly when my fight with Charlie that had to do with Isabella and my confrontation with the Cullens, the same family that broke Isabella some years ago."

"We know this already, so please proceed where you spoke of Paul's reactions."

"Oh ok, well his phone rang and it was Isabella like I said and all the sudden we heard Isabella's biological father scream out something like what the hell is this, no way" and we asked what was going on, and Isabella told us how they had taken copies of Charlie's computer and had watched some of it before they had taken of to your office in Quantico, and was going in to see you and show what they had found on the computers that Charlie had in his home, that you now took away with my handcuffed husband, so I ask what is going on now?"

"Well, this might be hard to hear, but for years back when Isabella was a just a baby, Charlie had been criminal in rapes of minor girls and even abuse of his own daugther, that is why her mother, Renee left him with Isabella in her arms as just months old baby, for she felt if he needed time away from them, and grow from it and learn his mistakes, than maybe Bella could come back, as you all know she did when she was just 17 almost 18."

Many looked shocked, pained and digusted of what they were being told, Paul after swallowing hard, said

"What about Isabella, she said something she been abused by him aswell?"
"That is true, she had taken photos without anyone knowing about it, and it went on for years, during the summers and the year and half she stayed here with him, while her mother and step-father went on their trip. Her mother admitted to us, that she knew about it but didnt do anything else to stop him or it from happening. She was not raped or sexually abused by her own father, but the girls he had done so, were under 12 years old at the time of the crimes, and we are now trying our best to find them and tell them that it all will be brought to court and he will at very least get life in jail if not death penalty for his heinous crimes against children. And all you know, a child abuser of any kind will be killed one way or another in jail for others finding out his crimes."

Paul was swallowing hard, but nodded his head. Rachel, Emily and Sue were all green and paler than normal. Sam was like Paul, but he was trying his best to keep his cool, as he asked

"And how is Bella doing?"

"Despite everything that she revealed to us both her own pain and what was found on the computers, she is doing ok as far you can say. She and Michael will be around at some point, as they both are called to the stand of the trail against Charles Swan. The victims will be also called and yes, you may come and join in the crowd of public watching it. I also suggest that you divorce Charlie, Sue, as I dont think you want to be with someone like himself."

At that she nodded, and looked over at Sam, who just nod that he would get in contact with his and Em's lawyer, that they got after the issues with Em's ex and his own ex, her daugther few months ago.

"So this is my card of contact, if you come up with any new information on anything, then please call me on this number. And my name is Simon Baker."

"Thank you for letting us all know it at least, as I know some things are not allowed to be let known of, as it can be sensitive stuff too."
"You all are allowed due to Isabella's permission. Charlie is at the moment detained and will be taken to our facility where he will sit until trial which will take place in 2 weeks time, in Seattle Court House."

Sam nodded, as he said

"We will be there, or some of us will as Em is pregnant and Rach is busy right now with her last finals of college."
"That is more than fine with us too. So I take my leave for now and see you all soon in court."

After that the two agents left the house and the area, and everyone sat there in shocked wonder and disgust of what they had just learned about Charlie and his crimes, even to his own daugther and ex-wife. Now Sue would be the new ex-wife but she felt it was right then wrong to stay with him after what she had learned about what crimes he had done.

Rachel and Paul soon after left the house and went home to her father and brother. Sue was able to stay with Sam and Emily, while Seth stayed with some friends of his, and Leah was away at some relatives in Makah Reservation, and knew nothing of this even happened.

Others in La Push and Forks would find out soon enough of what was going on and what their own ex-chief had even done. Emily texted Bella only love from them all even Sue's love. Bella replied back of her own love and comfort for them too.
