The Heroes headed inside the Halberd for something.
"We're not very much useful if we don't have our lyoko forms." Yumi said.
"Don't worry, I've got something to fix that." Meta Knight said as he pressed the button on the ray which fired at the Lyoko Warriors, transforming them into their Lyoko forms.
"Wow. What did you do?" Odd asked, not believing his eyes.
"It's a special ray that could make you keep your lyoko avatars." Sword Knight explained.
"Awesome. Now we have a chance of kicking some bad guy butt." Ulrich remarked as he got out his katana.
"Thanks, Meta Knight. We really appreciate your help." Aelita said with a smile on her face.
"It is my duty to help friends in need." Meta Knight said.
"We should head over to Monkey Mines and get the other banana." Green Link said.
The heroes left for Monkey Mines and the area was an abandoned mine with unstable walkways and minecarts.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me? Are we seriously going to go through this abandoned mine?" Ulrich asked, not feeling comfortable about going to an abandoned mine.
"Oh course we are, Ulrich. If we want to get the other bananas then we're going to have to get past this place. Is there something wrong?" Diddy asked.
"To tell you the truth, Diddy Kong. Ulrich is afraid of heights so he gets vertigo whenever he's on a high place." Odd snickered, earning himself a light punch on the shoulder from Ulrich.
"I'm with Ulrich on this. Because I'm also terrified of heights too!" Luigi shrieked as he looked down at the bottom which looked like a long way down. He cringed at the thought of falling off of the walkway.
"Whatever you do, don't look down no matter what, Luigi. I'm with you." Mario encouraged Luigi which made Luigi feel a little better.
The heroes traveled through mines taking out a Necky that swooped down at them.
They then smashed open a crate revealing Winky the Frog who carries Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong across the walkway along the Heroes passed the black drums that are spewing out enemies.
The Heroes then went to the minecart area and noticed how it looked.
"Oh man, it has to be a minecart, does it?" Green Link asked, not feeling comfortable about being in a minecart.
"I'm afraid so, Link. We need to pass this in order to continue forward. And we need to be very careful too, because we could actually fall off the minecart." Toad warned.
"Do we have a choice?" Jeremy grumbled, also not feeling comfortable riding in a rickey trail.
The heroes got in the minecart which started moving.
"Whoaaaaaa! Let me off of this!" Odd shouted out, holding on for dear life.
They noticed another minecart which was broken down on the track in their way.
"Jump!" Diddy Kong shouted as everyone quickly made the cart jump over the knocked over cart.
Meanwhile on the other side were the Zebra Brothers who planted explosives on the tracks which would explode under the Heroes's carts.
"Heh heh heh. With these dynamites on the tracks the Heroes on the carts will go boom and fall off the track along with it, while we escape to safety after we press the button." Sparky White bragged while laughing.
"Totally. They won't know what will hit 'em. My plan worked like a charm." Spark Black claimed.
"What!? Your plan!? It was my idea to plant the dynamite in the Heroes way in the first place!" Sparky White argued.
"You!? Get real! It was my idea! Since I'm the smart zebra while you don't have a brain!" Sparky Black insulted.
With that the two zebras then got into a squabble with punching and kicking each other cartoon style, not noticing the heroes heading their way and driving past the fighting zebra brothers. It was then they noticed the Heroes went past them.
"Darn it, they got away. Thanks a lot. This is your fault!" Sparky White accused while pointing his finger at Sparky Black's face.
"My fault!? You're the one who started it, trying to say that you're better than me!" Sparky Black retorted back.
"You know that I'm always superior to you!" Sparky White taunted.
"That's what you think! But in your dreams!" Sparky Black spat as they got into another tussle which made them accidentally pressed the buttons which set off the explosions, sending them flying out of the mines.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" the two zebras screamed as they landed into the waters of the island.
Back with the Heroes.
The noise from the explosion shook the whole mines, almost knocking the Heroes off balance
"Whoa! What was that explosion!?" Mystique Sonia cried out, startled from the explosion.
"It seemed like someone tried to blow us up from over there. Thank goodness, we went past that area, otherwise we would've been incinerated." Red Link shrieked.
"We must be careful if that's true. There could be someone trying to ambush us here." Yoshi said.
They then reached the end of the mine tracks and got off the cart.
"Boy, I'm sure glad that's over. My stomach cannot take another rollercoaster ride like that." Odd groaned as he held his stomach.
"Me too, I almost threw up back there." Mighty Ray also groaned as he felt dizzy.
"You're lucky that you didn't vomit all over my tunic, otherwise I would have made you like it off." Shadow Link threatened.
They then entered a cave full of Zingers, glaring at them.
"What do we have here? A bunch of heroes ready for a good sting." a zinger said.
"Lord King would be thrilled if he findsssssss out that we did thessssssse heroes in. Let's get them!" another zinger called out as the deadly bees swooped down at the heroes.
"Everyone, spread out!" Lin Chung yelled as the heroes spread out with each Zingers chasing them.
"Bad bug friends!" Jumpy Ghostface scolded as he rammed into two Zingers that flew at him.
Diddy Kong was about to punch one of the Zingers, but Donkey Kong stopped him.
"Don't Diddy, Zingers have protective spikes all over their bodies. Touching them physically won't do us any good. Try throwing things at them." Donkey Kong advised while dodging a Zinger that tried to sting him.
"Right, Donkey Kong." Diddy Kong said as he looked for a barrel and found a tnt barrel. "Bingo was his nameo." Diddy Kong smirked as he picked up the barrel and tossed it at a few Zingers, blowing them up. "Wow. That was a big bang right there."
Huu! Eeugh!" Mystique Sonia whipped some of the Zingers with her tongue. "Ouch! Sharp stingers! Remind me not to do that again." Mystique Sonia cried in pain as she held her tongue which had painful marks from the Zinger's stingers.
"Buzz off, will you, freaks!? You Zingers are really starting to bug me!" Blue Link growled as he swords spinned around, slicing up many Zingers that came at him.
Just then the Zebra Brothers have returned and confronted the heroes applied by the chameleon tanks.
"Well well well, if it isn't the loser First Squad from Big Green. We see you have some new friends with you." Sparky White taunted.
"Just what we need. The Zebra Brothers and the Chameleon Tanks." Mr. No Hands grumbled in annoyance at seeing the annoying zebras.
"And who are those guys?" Green Link asked, seeing the Zebra Brothers.
"Those are the Zebra Brothers who work for High Roller. They always lie to the animal kings or queens into believing every human is their enemy and start a war between humans and animals." Lin Chung explained, glaring at the Zebra Brothers.
"That sounds like somebody who doesn't seem friendly." Toad remarked, not liking a war between animals and humans.
"That's right, Lin Chump! High Roller and our new client have sent us to destroy you and every hero in Donkey Kong Island. You heroes are so predictable with your 'Let's all save the day' and stuff. But that ends today." Sparky Black explained in a taunting way.
"And you think that we're just gonna let you two bumbling fools do that?" Ulrich questioned while crossing his arms.
"Of course not. We may have failed to blow you guys off the train course, but we will defeat you right here and right now!" Sparky Black shouted as he glared at the heroes.
"So you guys were the ones who planted those explosives back at the minecarts!? You idiots! Didn't you realize that you could've caused the whole mine to collapse on us considering that it's unstabled!?" Tiff exclaimed.
"Hey, we're not idiots! We're smart and awesome, little girl!" Sparky White retorted.
"Chameleon tanks and Zinger swarm, attack!" Sparky Black ordered as the chameleons began firing cannonballs and the Zingers flew down at the heroes.
"That's not fair! There's more of them than more of us!" Tuff complained as a cannonball heading straight for him.
"Tuff, NOOOO!" Tiff cried out in horror as her young brother was about to be hit by the explosive cannonball that a chameleon fired.
"Aaaaaaah!" Tuff cried out as he braced for impact.
Just then a blue blur came and snatched Tuff out of the cannonball's way and took him to safety and revealed him to be a humanoid blue hedgehog with white and red shoes. Along with the hedgehog was a humanoid yellow fox with two tails with red and white shoes, a red echidna with spiky gloves and red and green shoes, a pink hedgehog with a pink dress and pink boots, a green hedgehog with green and white shoes, and a violet hedgehog with pink hair and violet boots.
"Are we not late for the party?" the hedgehog asked with a grin on his face.
"No you're not. And hey, thanks for the save. My name is Tuff." Tuff thanked the blue hedgehog.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Sonic The Hedgehog." Sonic introduced himself.
"My name is Miles Prower, but my friends call me Tails. And I'm Sonic's best friend." Tails greeted the heroes.
"Knuckles the name. It's a pleasure to meet you guys." Knuckles said.
"My name is Amy Rose, it's very nice to meet you guys." Amy said in a friendly way.
"I'm Manic The Hedgehog and I'm Sonic's brother." Manic said and pointed to the violet hedgehog. "And this is my sister Sonia."
"It is a pleasure to meet you guys." Sonia said.
"You're Sonic The Hedgehog, huh? I've heard about you and that you're famous around Sega. It's nice to finally meet you in person." Mario greeted Sonic.
"And I've heard that you're the famous Mario in Nintendo that everyone keeps talking about. It's a pleasure to meet you too." Sonic said as the two heroes shook hands.
The Zebra Brothers and their minions weren't pleased that the hedgehog and his friends interfered with their battle.
"Hey, blue rat! You and your friends are interfering with our battle, so beat it!" Sparky White insulted as he glared at Sonic.
Sonic then returned the glare to the evil Zebra Brothers and their army.
"Look donkey breath, let me make some things clear around here; First of all; I'm a blue hedgehog. Secondly; I don't think that it's fair that you two have your whole army ganging up on my new friends like that. And thirdly; I've overheard you two dimwits talking about teaming up with Egghead and most of the villains of the universe and trying to turn all the animals living on this island against us and I don't like it one bit!" Sonic told it straight to the Zebra Brothers.
"Yeah. And if you dare mess with Sonic, you're gonna answer to me and to my Piko Piko hammer!" Amy growled as she held her Piko Piko Hammer.
The Zebra Brothers were freaked out by the sight of Amy's Piko Piko hammer.
"Yikes! Get them!" the two zebras shrieked simultaneously as the enemies went back to the battle.
"Alright, time to party!" Sonic playfully said as he ran straight to the chameleons with blinding speed, catching them by surprise and kicking them straight into the faces, knocking them off of their tanks and spin dashing a group of them, knocking them out like bowling pins and scoring a perfect strike.
"STRIKE! " said a voice.

"Now, that's what I call a strike!" Tails remarked.
Yoshi grabbed one of the cannonballs with his tongue and sent it back at the chameleon tanks, making them scream in horror as they were hit by the explosive balls. The dinosaur then pooped out a few eggs then tossed them at three chameleon tanks, knocking them out.
"Yowch! That stings!" Mighty Ray yelped as a Zinger stung his arm. "That's it! You buzz boys asked for it!" Mighty Ray growled as he pulled out a banana and pinched his nose in disgust before eating it as his eyes lit up with electricity. "I AM MIGHTY RAY! FEAR MY EYEBALLS!" Mighty Ray then sent out a stream of electricity at the Zingers, zapping all of them at once and knocking them down.
"It's no ussssse. We're no match for them! RETREAT!" The Zinger cried out as they all flew away from the battle.
"We've got to do something! We can't let them get past us." Sparky Black advised.
"I think it's time we cut in this battle." Sparky White suggested as the two zebras formed a wheel and rolled at the heroes.
Mario jumped in front of the chameleon tanks and smashed his hammer onto their shells breaking them which angered the chameleons.
"You broke our shells! Now you are going to pay!" one of the angry chameleons yelled as they wrapped their tongues around Mario and slammed him down onto the ground.
The heroes noticed the chameleons holding Mario down onto the ground as more chameleon tanks surrounded him.
"Mario, no!" Luigi cried out for Mario's safety.
"These chameleon tanks are everywhere. There's no way we can take them all at once! Yip!" Toad cried out as he jumped out of the way as a cannonball almost hit him.
"We've taken on bigger armies before. I can take these lizards out!" Knuckles shouted as he punched away many chameleons that came at him and grabbed one of the chameleons tongue, making it squeal in pain from its tongue being yanked. "What's the matter, lizard breath? Echidna got your tongue?" Knuckles taunted the poor chameleon as he let go of the chameleon's tongue, making the said chameleon's tongue smack into the chameleon, knocking it backwards.
Donkey Kong grabbed the chameleons that were attacking Mario and bashed them into each other, making them cry and let go of Mario.
"Mamma mia…" Mario groaned in dizziness from the chameleon tanks attack. "Thanks, Donkey Kong."
"No problem, Mario." Donkey Kong said.
"Take this!" Mr. No Hands shouted as he launched his needles at the chameleons, which didn't hurt them that much due to their protective armor.
Meta Knight, Sword Knight and Blade Knight were surrounded by the chameleon tanks who were ready to fire their cannonballs at them.
"Let's get to work, gentlemen." Meta Knight said as the star warriors jumped out of the way from the cannonballs and slashed their swords at the chameleons, knocking them out.
Tiff and Tuff grabbed one of the chameleon's tongues and used it like a yo-yo before throwing it into the other chameleon tanks.
"Wow. It's a good thing, Knuckle Joe and Meta Knight taught us how to fight." Tuff chuckled, feeling proud of himself.
Kirby took out his sword and inhaled it and became Sword Kirby and used a sword beam on the chameleons, cutting them up.
Yellow Kirby pulled out a bomb and inhaled it, gaining the Bomb ability as Bomb Yellow Kirby tossed multiple bombs at the chameleons and blew them away.
Red and Green Kirby kicked a few chameleon tanks away as Green Kirby grabbed a chameleon and suplexed him to the ground, knocking out the lizard.
Blue Kirby pulled out a rock and inhaled it, gaining the stone ability and transformed into a large statue of himself and slammed down onto the chameleons, knocking them all away.
"These chameleon tanks are so persistent! They just keep on coming at us!" Manic growled as he dodged a cannonball that a chameleon fired at him. "You jerk! Take this!" Manic kicked the chameleon that fired at him away like a soccer ball. "He shoots, he scores!" Manic cheered.
"That's my brother right there." Sonia remarked as she punched a chameleon away.
Sonic and Tails teamed up against two chameleon tanks and punched them in their faces, knocking them out. They then Spin Dash into more chameleons and knock them out.
"Bring it on, stripe boys!" Amy growled as the Zebra Brothers rolled at her. Amy then swung her Piko Piko hammer at the Zebra Brothers like a baseball bat and knocked them out of their wheel form and into the wall.
The Zebra Brothers were dazed from Amy's hammer as they groaned in pain.
"That girl is too scary and girly to handle!" Sparky Black as he held his head which hurts.
"Let's get out of here!" Sparky White suggested as the two zebras rolled their way out of the cave, followed by the chameleon tanks.
"Yeah! That's right! You better run!" Blue Link called after them.
"That's what you guys get for messing with us!" Purple Link also yelled after them.
"We sure showed them who's boss!" Red Link smiled.
"Eh. Those chameleon tanks were nothing but a joke." Sonic remarked as he wiped his gloves.
"That was a heated battle." Manic said.
Suddenly rocks started raining down into the cave.
"Uh-oh! It looks like the cave is starting to collapse due to the battle we had here." Ribbon gulped.
"Then may I suggest we get out of here too!" Knuckles said as the heroes left the collapsing cave.
They then headed into a station where Klaptraps and Rock Krocs were located.
A Klaptrap jumped out of nowhere and attacked the heroes.
"Whoa! What is that thing?!" Luigi yelped.
"It's a Klaptrap! Don't attack it in the front unless you have a weapon or else it'll take a bite out of you!" Diddy Kong warned.
Ulrich then slashed the Klaptrap, scaring it off as the heroes continued forward and encountered rock Kremlings which were moving quite speedy for someone being made of rock.
"What now? We won't be able to pass, with those Kremlings in the way, running around like that." Aelita said.
Just then Jeremy noticed a barrel that says 'Go' and 'Stop' and pressed it, making everything red and causing the Rock Krocs to curl up into a ball.
"Guys. Now's our chance to pass before they move again." Jeremy said as the heroes quickly ran past the Rock Krocs and left the area before the area turned green and the said Rock Krocs started moving again.
"Well, that was easier than normal." Fololo remarked, definitely not expecting to escape from the station.
They then entered the temple where a few Krushas were playing a game called checkmate.
"Give it up! You know I'm gonna win!" Krusha #1 teased.
"In your dreamsssssss, buddy." Krusha #2 said.
The heroes managed to sneak past the distracted Krushas.
"Hey, is it just me or did somebody just sneak past us?" Krusha #1 asked.
"Nah...you're just imagining things." Krusha #2 said as he put his last trophy on his side. "Checkmate! I win!"
"No way! You cheated!" Krusha #1 accused.
"What!? No I didn't! You lost fair and square!" Krusha #2 retorted as the two got into a brawl.
They then came across a Gnawty in a large millstone rolling at them.
"Whoa! Watch out!" Ribbon screamed as everyone moved out of the way from the millstone which rolled passed them.
"That beaver could've ran us over!" Diddy cried out.
They came across more Krushas who charged at them.
They were then defeated by Meta Knight who slashed right through them.
"Hey, I see the exit dead ahead!" Sonic said.
"Poyo poyo poyo." Red Kirby said.
"That might be where the boss is! Let's go!" Tails said.
The Heroes then exited the temple.
