Ladybug didn't notice when the song changed, and kept her head against his shoulder. Cat Noir took advantage of her not running from him for once and kept rhythm to the new song spilling into the night. He kept looking at the soft curves of her face, and how soft her lips looked. They pulled themselves into a tight line and just as suddenly relaxed.
Cat Noir decided not to ask her what was wrong. Didn't want to scare his Ladybug out of his arms when he only just got her in them.
"Um Cat?" Ladybug asked after a moment, pulling away from him.
"Err yes my Lady?"
"Nevermind" she shook her head and pulled her lips together. "It's getting late, and Paris seems safe tonight. So lets…"
"One more dance Ladybug?" he cut her off before she could finish. "Please? I won't be able to go to my own formal, and this was nice" he offered his hand to her this time. A soft pleading smile on his lips.
"Just one kitty" She teased him, but let him pull her close again. They slow danced on the upper levels of the Eiffel Tower, with only the gentle summer breeze and the soft music between them.
The dance felt like it lasted forever, and like it was over all too soon, and again she didn't immediately pull away from him, and seemed almost reluctant to leave him on the tower alone.
He watched her and she swung herself across the rooftops of Paris before he headed in the opposite direction.
Adrien sighed as he neared his home. Now he wanted to go to formal more than ever. Nino's plan for Saturday sounded like it would be a lot of fun, but it wasn't going to be formal with all his friends.
He started to make plans, he would try his best to crash formal and be with his friends. He just had to sneak out, something he did every night as Cat Noir! It would be a piece of cake.
