Yesterday morning at the Jedi Temple

In a round conference like room with chairs placed around the outer edges not to far from the windows were occupied by the members of the Jedi Council. One of them was discussing the recently departed systems forming their own coalition. One of the members felt something strange, like a space where the Force was flowing around it rather then being suck in. This member was the first to notice the odd presents, he was a short green creature with long pointy ears. Jedi master Yoda closed his eyes to deeply focus on the space within the force. Trying to locate where this sudden pressure was by tapping into the force until he was brought out of his deep meditative trance by one of the other masters that called out to him.

This one was a bald black man who had a stern, but concern look on his face when he addressed his fellow Jedi. "You also feel this presents in the force as well. What do you think it is?" Mace Windu asked.

"what it might be I do not know. Elusive this is." Yoda replied with thoughtful look on his face. He could feel it, but in some way it keep on slipping away which was odd considering that he felt its presents, but couldn't quit locate where it was.

"Well, whatever it maybe we will discover what it is and its purpose. For now though we'll mediate on how to deal with this later." Mace Windu said sensing the some thing his fellow Jedi master was feeling. Though he too can't pinpoint the source of the disturbance, but that's a problem for another time.

Meanwhile at the higher offices of the 500 Republica

As a elderly man was filing away paper after reviewing and signing off on some of them. This person had on a black robe with a short neck collar, including sleeves that were spacious at the end. He had a focused look on his face while finishing up one final form until he to felt the pressure within the Force itself. Sheev Palpatine turned his chair around to face the window and got out of his seat. Palpatine walked towards the window looking out at the city glossing over it with mild interest.

His Vice Chair of the Galactic Senate was there going over some of the paper work with him. When Mas Amedda saw this he became a little curious and wondered what was on the chancellor's mind.

"Is something wrong?" Mas Amedda ask when suddenly the chancellor stopped what he was doing.

The chancellor turn back towards his colleague with a soft smile on his face. "Oh it's nothing really I just wanted take a little break before I finish up." he said hiding the fact that there was something among them.

It was causing the Force to flow around it at the some time making it difficult to find where the source was. Palpatine was slightly intrigue by this, but it was of little interest to him at the moment so he took one last gaze at the city before going back to his desk and finish what paperwork he had left.

'I wonder what that was? Well, I will find out in due time, but for now I see it that everything falls into place.' he thought to himself.

Later on that evening yesterday night two hours after the incident

As Jedi master Yoda was peacefully mediating in his room when he felt a slight disturbance in the Force. The door to his room was open to reveal Mace coming into the room. "Yoda there's been a incident in the federal district 30 minutes ago involving an attempted kidnapping, assault, murder, hijacking and a high speed chase." Windu reported not liking the feeling he was getting from these turn of events.

Likewise Yoda himself was feeling the same thing. "Bad this maybe. During the incident what has transpired?" Yoda asked with concern written on his face. Mace Windu replies with, "Well the whole thing was started by bounty hunters targeting Senator Riyo chuchi, reports say her apartment was broken into and all six of the guards that was stationed there were killed while on duty." Windu listed off a couple then continued.

"Also three of the intruders were killed after they had broken in and one survived, but is comatose from blunt force trauma. Riyo herself stated in the report that Denger was one of the bounty hunters among the group that attempted to kidnap her. Though she mentions that there was someone with her when this whole started." Mace goes on with explaining the individual who fought to protect the senator. Yoda did get worried when Mace told the parts about a chase that lead to couple accidents and a traffic jam. After the Jedi master finished Yoda was concern at the same time interested to have this whole incident investigated as soon as possible.

Later on that morning present day

Kyle was prepping himself for their little test run of swinging, he did have second thoughts about doing this. But that was immediately getting overwritten by his excitement. He looked at the building adjacent to the one they are standing on and held his arm out. Aiming his hand towards it with spider-man's signature three finger pose, shooting out the same organic substance as before. Only this time it was a little bit more translucent still retaining its dark coloration. Once the web line was connected to the building, Kyle took a deep breath and looked down at the street below, then to the building ahead.

The host jump off the ledge and swung to the side of the building slamming feet first into it hard enough to leave a slight indention on the surface. With his heart pounding away in his chest Kyle was amazed at how he didn't feel a thing when they hit the wall.

"Man, I can still feel my heart racing after that" said the host as he breathed heavily in excitement.

*This is just the start of it, I can't wait when we start getting our hands dirty.* The Klyntar Exclaimed in anticipation, wanting the host to generate more adrenaline for it to feed on. Kyle started to crawled along the wall until something crossed his mind. So he looked back to where they landed, just in time to see the web line he swung on break down into dust and floated away disappearing in the wind.

"Huh, didn't think it would dissolve that quickly." Kyle said in realization at seeing the substance disappear.

*Of course it did, I can program how long my biomass can sustain itself away from the main source when released* Venom explained

Kyle looked off along the wall to find a next spot on the building to swing from. Once the duo picked a spot to swing on, Kyle stood straight up on the wall and fired off another web line. Only this time he pushed off harder to gain more momentum and with the extra speed he swung through the air. This embolden Kyle to release his web line at the end of the swing. He then shot another right after, the host started to swing consistently from building to building. Even swung on a few vehicles along the way, the two tried a couple of acrobatic moves which almost resulted in them getting hit by one of the speeders in the air. Thankfully venom corrected their path just before that happen, they kept on continuing the process about a half hour until they took a break on the side of a skyscraper.

Venom was somewhat impressed by the fact it didn't have to help as much as it thought it would when performing these actions. More so when it did not have to teach Kyle how to use these abilities all that much. After ten minutes they went right back at it, their reflexes were improving by the second. Even their agility was boosted all thanks to the klyntar because it knew they will need this in order to increase both it and Kyle's chances of survival.

'This is so much fun, it's kinda like playing on a swing-set when I was a little kid' Kyle thought to himself as they swung throughout the city.

*Hate to interrupt that train of thought, but there's something I want to see* Venom said as it took control without altering their appearance. Kyle didn't mind this, but it did feel weird for him having his body being puppeteer like that. It guided them towards one the tallest structures in the area and scaled up it to very top. Clinging to the side of the building Venom along with Kyle looked over the cityscape searching for something.

'So what are you looking for?' asked Kyle as they were staring off into the distance.

*Just searching for a place to take refuge in.* Venom said as it was looking for a secluded area like it did last night. Once it came to the conclusion that this area was heavily populated, it decided to jump down to lower levels of Coruscant. As they descended into the lower parts of the city Kyle felt his heart pounding away in his chest when the Klyntar wasn't letting him take control during the fall.

'Uh, Venom you're making me a little nervous here!' Kyle thought terrifyingly to his "Copilot", the host was showing a lot more fear then his words let on and Venom knew this. So on the way down Venom formed flaps like it did last night to glide during the descend to help decrease their speed. The action helped Kyle relax a bit, but he still felt a little worried. On the way down the sunlight rapidly faded as they fell deeper into the lower levels of the city.

Meanwhile at the same undisclosed location within the federal distract

Riyo was hard at work going over a few of the senate applications for her to become eligible for the position. After the Initial assault and Property damage, she had to make quite a few calls early that morning. She was able to sort out how to deal with the traffic jam issue that was caused by Kyle throwing a door he tore off a speeder they pass by. It was a most harrowing task and that's not barring the of injuries of a couple of citizens in said speeder accident and a badly damaged police cruiser.

"I'll be so glad when this mess is sorted out soon, otherwise I might end up going mad." The senator said while rubbing temples with slight irritation in her voice.

While she was reviewing one of the documents Riyo got a holo message from one of the officers that was at the scene of the crash. Riyo took a quick glance at it and sighed when the message for a set schedule of a officer that's supposed to be show up later on this afternoon.

'I'm going to make a missing person report.' she thought to herself with some hesitation. 'At least this way I can have Kyle brought straight to me.'

Knowing that she needs to bring him back as soon as possible before he does something even worse. Because last night she wanted to put out a missing person report, but wasn't sure if that was the right call to make at the time. Considering the circumstances she would've at least put forth the afford to vouch for Kyle if he had stuck around. Plus if the police couldn't find him, then calling in private investigator or as a last resort hire a bounty hunter. Though that's another decision for a later when all other options are exhausted.

Back with the host

As the klyntar/human hybrid fell Kyle felt his fear subsided. Letting Venom do its thing, Kyle did his best to relax and focus on trying to feel what his partner was feeling while it was looking around. At first he wasn't getting anything, but the sensation of Venom controlling his body. Once they pass by a bridge the klyntar shot out a web line towards it and swung to the side. Landing on the wall of a structure of the lower levels. For a moment the host tried again to see if he could tap into that sense like the one Kyle felt last night. Even though it was completely up to the symbiote to allow something like that to happen.

Venom could sense this happening, so for its part push their bond a little deeper allowing Kyle to feel this sixth sense.

Kyle was overwhelmed or so he thought when Venom strengthened their bond. Because whenever the symbiote had his face covered Kyle's sight became much more sharper, but now he felt all of his senses being boosted. He could feel the vibrations of movement on the surface they're on, hear a multitude voices a distance away and can smell something foul in the air he didn't notice before. The host was so caught up in his boosted senses that Venom had decided to take off from their position to continue the search.

As the creature traveled through the city it took on its hulking form with its mouth splitting open. And since the area they were in had no sun light whatsoever there was a lot of dark areas for them to rom around in. Though this part of the city still had plenty of lit places. Even so they kept to the shadows as the two traversed through the lower levels. Venom camouflaged themselves to make sure they remained unseen by prying eyes and/or surveillance cameras.

After 40 minutes of tireless searching

Venom find a area with the least amount of life forms present. The klyntar swung down below to a platform that led to an empty street. Once they landed Venom rushed off through the roadside. Kyle looked around as Venom ran along the path, he saw neon signs and street lights shining bright in this part of town.

After a couple of moments the klyntar came to a stop in front of a worn out, somewhat rusty building with pipes going along the side of the wall and a sign hanging to the side. Not really caring about the condition this place was in Venom scaled up the wall til it reached a window and smashed it. They crawled their way in, at first glance it was pitch black with the exception of the light that's shining from the outside, but thanks to the symbiote enhancing Kyle's sight. They're able to see in the dark just as clearly as daylight. Kyle and Venom noticed that the room they are in is empty with dust on the floor. The walls were littered with some rust and graffiti.

'Well at least there's no one around to bother us.' Thought the host as they got a good look at the room. At that point Venom stopped camouflaging and walked towards the doorway. Curious to seen if the power was still on in this worn out building by flipping a switch, unsurprisingly it was off. The Klyntar/human hybrid poked they head out into the hallway seeing more graffiti and some junk cluttering it.

*Hmm, may not be a five star motel, but it will have to do for now.* Venom said as it shrunk down and peeled off from most of Kyle's body to form a mass on his back not bothering to change its appearance with two thick tentacles going over each shoulder and two smaller ones coming around from his back to the abdomen.

Kyle walked through the hall and looked into every room they came across exploring deeper in the abandon complex. Plus when Kyle came upon a door that was sealed shut Venom would cover his arms and hands then easily pry it open. They saw more junk piled up inside, so the two move on to other areas of this place. As Kyle moved throughout the corridors he came up to a stairwell leading three stories up and two stories down. Kyle took his time going down the steps, when he reached the bottom they came to another set of double doors and just as easily force them open. After that they surveyed the room for a bit, taking note of the countertop desk to his right and a door his left and worn out benches against the wall with a broken table in the center. From what the host could tell it looked like a waiting room to an emergency office building.

"Huh, this kinda looks like a waiting room for a hospital." Kyle said to himself in a low voice.

*I'd say it's more like an office building then a hospital.* Venom replied keeping a eye out for anything that is out of place.

"So you ready to go now?" Kyle asked his passenger wanting to continue practicing.

*Yeah, I already got the layout and path here memorized.* Venom said ready to get back to what they were doing before the symbiote brought them here.

After a good ten to fifth-teen minutes of climbing back up to the surface, Venom allowed Kyle to take control again once they came back to the surface. It was a bit weird for him as he realize that they were still in Venom's true form when they stopped on a glass window. The kylntar was still cloaked, but Kyle could tell the size difference with his enhanced vision.

'You don't have to stay this big, after all it's not really needed right now.' Kyle exclaimed in confusion as he looked over his invisible form.

*What? Is there something wrong with the way we look now?* Venom replied in a little standoffishly sort of tone. Kyle could feel the symbiote get a little defensive so he immediately gave an explanation.

'No, what I meant was that we don't need this extra bulk especially after what you manage to pull off last night.' Kyle reasoned feeling that having the extra strength was nice, but with no need for it felt a bit wasteful.

Venom saw the logic in his words, but it just didn't feel intimidating enough to assert dominance over anyone that might try challenge to them. Although the klyntar didn't like the idea it still went along with this choice and shrunk back down to Kyle's normal size.

*Yeah, I guess your right, but having that strength at the ready is always handy.* Replied Venom.

Kyle could sense his passenger's announce and did his best to reassure it. 'Thanks and I know, I'm not saying we shouldn't use it. Just figured that it would be easier to take people by surprise this way when we need it ...or you know when we want to be assholes.'

*Hehe* liking that, Venom chuckled a little at the response the host made.

Kyle leapt off the wall, then started swinging again to get in some more practice. The rush of the wind and the adrenaline pumping through his veins is one of the most intoxicating feelings he's had. It help to ease his doubt filled mind at moment. Though in a strange way as he was swinging Kyle felt like he fell into trance like state.

Deep within the under city of Coruscant

At the Moshi bar deep within the entertainment district a lone bounty hunter sat at the far end of the counter. Dengar was quietly sulking about the quarry he lost all thanks to some random beast posing as a guy. Dengar really hated the fact that he himself came so close to being eaten. It shocked him to core at the time that chase ended, still fresh and clear in his mind. He manage slip away just before the police arrived thanks to the monster throwing him off to the side and causing a scene. The experienced mercenary was glad he brought someone with him otherwise this would have been his last moment on this planet.

'Where did something like that even came from?' Dengar thought to himself, contemplating the origin of the creature. While he was thinking on the subject a member from the gang who commissioned his services came through the door. He looked around the room in search of bounty hunter the gang hired until his eyes landed on the only merc wearing a turban setting at the far end of the counter. The armored thug walked towards the counter and sat two stools down from Dengar then ordered brandy when the bartender finished cleaning out a mug. after the bartender served his customer's drink, the thug paid the amount owned for the beverage. He took a couple of sips before looking over to Dengar for a few second until making eye contact with the bounty hunter himself. Dengar got up from his seat nodded towards an empty booth in the corner of the bar. The cloaked individual left his seat at the counter to join up with the merc. Once the two sat down Dengar waited patiently as the thug took another sip from his brandy and cleared his throat.

"It's good to see you're still in one piece after the that failed attempt to retrieve the pantoran diplomat." The cloaked gang member said in a low tone mildly surprised by the fact Dengar to come out that mess alive.

"No thanks to your boys that were supposed to be my backup" said Dengar quietly with calm look on his face, but that only hide the contempt he had for the other gentlemen's remark. "And how were we supposed to know the senator had that kind of muscle with her in the first place?"

"Yeah, as unexpected as that was we can still recover fro-" the cloaked man was about to reassure until he got cut.

"There is absolutely no way to salvage this at this point in time especially with the added security increase and more police patrols." Dengar urgently replied "It's next to impossible to get around those counter measures they have in place now."

"That maybe the case, but we have our ways around it." The thug said evenly "we'll just need some time to get everything in order. That's if you're still interested."

Dengar wasn't sure if he should go through with it. He knows for a fact whoever or whatever that thing was it's not with Senator Riyo anymore. Since he saw the beast leap away after it tossed him like a rag doll quite a few feet into a wall back first. Lucky him he had on armor, but velocity and sudden stop gave the seasoned merc whiplash. It wasn't the beast he was worried about, it was trying to make a second attempt so soon after what happened.

He did give it some thought and wondered how they were going to pull it that off.

"All right tell me what you guys got plan first and I might consider it" Dengar replied out of curiosity.

Finishing the rest of his drink in two gulps and set the glass down. "Good, follow me." He got up from his seat with Dengar following closely behind him to his gang's base of operations so they can speak more privately.

Later on that evening

Dusk was approaching its end as night begin to fall. Kyle sat on the ledge of a random building leaning against the wall contemplating on what to do next. For him it was still so surreal to be in a place like this and he considered the situation wondering how much time had past in the real world. And if he could find someone or something that could sent him back. He looked off at the futuristic metropolis lost in thought, he setting there for almost 10 minutes until his passenger broke him out of his train of thought.

*You're still hang up on this, Huh?*

"I just want this whole thing to be over and done with" Kyle said feeling a little home sick.

*Oh relax, we can make the best out of this situation, besides is it really all that bad?*

"Well, no I guess it isn't." Kyle did admitted "but it could be better though."

Still covered by the klyntar he brought his left hand up to inspect it. Taking in the Texture, the sleek look and the pulsing veins. He even flexed his fingers a couple of times into a fist to get a good feel for it.

'God, this is weirdly satisfying.' Kyle thought to himself

*Well you're real easy to please.* Venom said giving its honest opinion.

"Well what do you expect?" Kyle said with subdued excitement building up. "It's not every day a person gets bonded to a symbiote from their favorite comic book series of all time."

*Yeah I see your point, but now can we get something to eat?* Venom replied feeling the hunger coming back. *All this exercising is making us rather peckish.*

The host got up looked out for a next building to swing from. Raised his left hand, shooting a web line out and jumped off building. They swung down lower and lower for a few seconds until the two were close enough to the ground. Along the way down venom camouflaged themselves so no one would see them. They turned into an alley and landed softly on the ground with a light thud. After a quick check Venom stop cloaking themselves slipped back into the form of a backpack, then something occurred to Kyle as he looked at himself. He's wearing his black hoodie, gray Nintendo shirt and the baby blue jeans. The very same clothes Kyle wore when he first arrived here.

"Wait, what the... how did-"/*I switched them while we were house hunting.* Venom explained

"Oh, um ok" Kyle then sniffed the sleeve of his hoodie and noticed the smell was gone and not even a faint odd was left behind. *Also cleaned out your clothes hours ago when you woke this morning.*

"Wow, thanks" Kyle replied genuinely grateful.

Kyle walked out of the alley surveyed the area not really minding the people that are out and about at night. After wandering about for 30 minutes he found another market area, but compared to the other one from earlier it didn't have as many food stands. He browse through the items on display along the way was a couple of things he saw did interest him to some degree, but moved on to the next one. It was difficult to sneak a few snacks in between crows of people, but they managed here and there whenever the opportunity presented itself. After a while the host left that market in favor of just walking around the area to memorize where everything is. Kyle begin to notice some people out of a crowd took glances at him as he walked by. Not liking what little attention he was getting, Kyle speed walk out of the block he's on. Venom silently observed everyone around them, sensing its host nervousness. Kyle pulled the hood up over his head to help hide his face so no one would recognizes him. Venom even went the extra mile to form a black bandanna like mask over his mouth and nose. After leaving the market Kyle felt relief being away from that place. As he walked through the street he went left down a another alleyway and found what look like a gigantic hole straight ahead. Kyle started of walking towards it, then picked up the pace into a light jog. As he got closer The host immediately broke into a sprint once he reached the giant portal.

Kyle heard some of the people yell at him to stop, but ignored them and when he got to the edge. The human/klyntar hybrid jumped off doing a flip in the air as they fell. Fear, excitement and a little disorientation flooded his mind, but feeling the adrenaline pumping through his veins allowed him to focus on the direction he was falling in. Kyle saw that a lot of bright neon lights coming up as he fell past the end of that portal. Seeing the brightly lit under city far below was awe inspiring, as he got closer to the ground Venom sprouted four tentacles from his shoulders that formed into a parachute at the center once the appendages came together same as before. They floated the rest of the way steering clear of areas with heavy traffic. When the two touchdown on a building's roof Venom immediately retracted the parachute. Kyle walked towards the edge of this building's roof to gaze at the bustling night life, Neon signs and holographic advertisements on display everywhere.

'Wow, I never seen so many neon signs in one place.'

*Just the neon signs? Not the holographic images, architecture or the machinery operating all around us?*

"Well yeah that too, I was just pointing out the signs look amazing."

*Like a moth to the flame, you're easily drawn to brightly colored lights.* Venom disapprovingly said to its host. It didn't care very much about the environment they're in, so long as the heat wasn't unbearable for them to handle.

Kyle looked down to the street below for a spot to land on. When he did, they climbed down the wall not caring if people saw them or not. Once he was close enough to the ground Kyle jumped off the rest of the way and landed softly on the hard metal. When he looked around a good number of people stopped to gaze at him. Kyle didn't really care all that much since most of his face was covered. So he walked away not paying attention to the people staring at him. As he moved along his backseat driver decided to speak up.

*Stick close to the crowd, I want to try something.*

Curious as to what his passenger was up to went along with it to see where this was going. Once he was within a somewhat big crowd of people he felt that wet sensation around his thighs and as he walked amongst the crowd this group of people got closer together. Making him feel uncomfortable, after a moment or two the wet sensation moved up from his thighs to his lower abdomen and back.

*Ok, now move ahead and away from the pedestrians* Venom instructed

Kyle speed walked down the street and once he was far enough they took a left turn at the end of the block. As he continued his curiosity got the best of him, so he ask why Venom made that request.

"So you mind telling me what that was all about?" Asked Kyle in a light whisper so no one would hear him.

*We needed money or in this case credits, so I "borrowed" some.* Venom explained

Kyle felt a nervous chill run up his spine, he eyes darted left and right as his heart rate sped up. He even looked over his shoulder to see if anybody was coming his way.

*No one witnessed what we did so I don't know why your pulse has quicken.* Venom puzzlingly replied

'That's exactly why, someone outside or inside of the crowd might have and is probably reporting us right now.' Kyle thought to Venom as kept moving forward faster then what he was doing before.

*NOBODY. DIDN'T. NOTICE. Remember I can camouflage ourselves, so relax.* Venom irritability replied, Kyle could feel some irritation from his backseat driver.

"Ok, sorry about that it's just I'm not to big on surprises is all. I get why you did it, but we cannot keep doing that."

*Really now? Because you weren't complaining much about that earlier today when we stole food.* Venom exclaimed *Besides you were considering it as an option after you woke up this morning.*

'You were pestering me to feed you, plus I don't want to heavily rely on that method of income.' Kyle reasoned

*Well we can't just sit on our asses and starve ourselves. That wouldn't be good for you since now you're eating for two.* Venom pointed out, Kyle knew that if he did deprive himself and his passenger of sustenance it would be very bad for his health.

"Yeah yeah, I get it." But putting that aside he looked around for the equivalent of a restaurant. After a while Kyle was under the impression that he might be lost. So he asked around to see where to go. After getting directions he adventured off to their destination, time pasted on the way there the host goes over what they can and can't eat. And his passenger didn't reply at all for awhile. Until it said I'll think about it, which wasn't very reassuring for Kyle as this meant jack and shit in the long run, so he dropped the subject for now.

After walking for a bit they came to their destination, seeing so many kiosks, fancy looking restaurants from his perspective at least and food vendors a like. After taking few glances at the venues he decided to step up to one of the vendors to purchase food seeing as it looked like most of the things this vendor had he could easily afford. Feeling somewhat satisfied making a few purchases with the credits he had, though he still felt bad about it considering those people didn't deserve it and was just out to have some fun for he know.

"(Sigh) No point dwelling on it now." The host said in shame after getting the food they ordered. And to his mild surprise they had ordered a lot more than what was needed. Satisfied with their meal, Kyle saved some to eat for later. As He continued to venture through the streets something out of the corner of his left eye caught his attention. He turned his head to the left to see an entrance to a nightclub that had a neon sign in an alien dialect he couldn't read with a twi'lek caricature painted just underneath the text to right side of it. After a moment of inspecting the exterior, contemplating on whether he should do it or not. So he took a long inhale of air then exhale to work up the courage to go in this nightclub.

Author's Note: There you have it for this chapter now that it's out and not a moment too soon. I was going keep adding on to this, but I'm trying to find a good stopping point so these chapters don't become absurdly large or short.
