I walked into the village, as I do every few days to get some new armor- it never lasts more than ten dungeons, being near the heat of my spells can be suprisingly destructive. Why this doesn't apply to clothes, I don't know. Maybe it's because of the fact that clothing doesn't have a durability bar for some reason, or Game's being kind.

As I was walking someone passed me, which might normally not be something worth noting, however he was carrying a lot of broken wood planks and that isn't the most common sight. Then I noticed something, were they... dismantling the houses? Yeah, the houses were being disassembled. That's unusual, I think it would be a good course of action to Observe some people, that would give me a bit of insight on what's going on here.

Thoughts about you - Concerned, and a bit excited (not about you)

That was a random person I observed, but I'm pretty sure these stats are a bit too high for a civillian- mine were of a similar level before I started training. Is he a grunt of Earl's pirate group? It's possible.

As I Observed more and more people, the results were unnatural, they were somewhat similar to the first Observe. I don't know if Earl has a large crew, or this village is just full of strong people. Either way, now I know the first thing I will do after revealing myself is burn down the village; these people might not be a problem on their own, but if they gang up on me when I'm fighting someone strong, the distraction could prove annoying.

Here it is, the blacksmith's forge- on a clearing at the outskirts of the village there was a stone platform with five small draft furnaces, an anvil, a leather rack, some armor stands, and a few things I don't know the use of.

Boster was dipping hot metal in a water containter when I arrived, he's the guy that makes my armor. Not that he likes me, his reputation is at -3; I just pay him well. I'm greedy, but I can sacrifice some thousands for protection, money is something I love, however if I die, I won't be able to get any richer.

I greeted him, and handed him 20.000 Beri. It hurt me to see the cash go, even though I know it's necessary. I took a heat resistant chainmail from a hook, hanging on a pole at the edge of the platform. I don't know how he makes them but I'm not going to complain about getting something that'll last more dungeons.

I tried it on, it was long- reaching to my knees, it was split in the middle, giving my legs room to move. It's pretty good, I'll keep it. I waved goodbye to the smith, going out of the village, to my house which is the only place I can currently open portals to dungeons without looking suspicious- going to the forest would be.

And so, the training continues.

Three days later I made a trip to a small marketplace in the heart of the village. A few people could be seen talking, and exchanging goods between some small stalls. I wasn't here to buy anything, just gather information as to what's been happening in the past days.

I walked up to one of the shops, made a considering look so it seemed like I was looking for something to buy, however I was actually listening to a nearby conversation.

"I heard he made up his mind" a female voice said.

"Yeah... About that, Abisol village is ending- living here was peaceful." another voice, an old guy.

"True, but if he wants to..." Here they walked around a corner, out of my hearing range. I didn't hear anything important, but this news might imply something that would be.

'He made up his mind' was she talking about the Earl? The village's called Abisol, does that mean something? No, at least probably not, it's just the name of the village. And if it's truly ending, how so? They were disassemling their houses, that must have some connection to this. No matter, I'll easily destroy them when I finish my training.

I tried listening on to a few other conversations, but there was nothing interesting going on. The only other thing that happened is I bought something, a badass light gray cloak with a hoodie. I know I told myself that I wouldn't buy anything, but doing so made me blend in a bit; not seem like it was obvious that I was gathering info. Besides it really works with the chainmail, as both items are of colors very close to white. After I finished admiring myself in a puddle I started walking to my house so I could resume training. I hope this chainmail lasts longer, I like it.

Summarizing, over two weeks of constant and grueling training I've been noticing some varyingly unusual things from the village I now knew was called Abisol, the houses were being dismantled. Something other of note is I noticed yesterday that the people were disappearing en masse to who knows where.

I'm now relaxing on the beach, I stopped training a few hours ago as I became so powerful that I'm sure I could take on Earl and his whole crew without breaking a sweat, even if that included fighting everybody that lived in Abisol. My DEX is almost twice as high as Adryt's, and I have the acrobatics skill which I maxed out three days ago; that was a welcome suprise, as my main Pyromancer class is only level 38, maybe side classes level faster, but how would I know.

I could probably defeat Earl even without my magic, but with it... That's a different story.

All of my earned points I always poured into DEX, as INT and WIS were being heightened by my Race, END and STR are my dump stats because of [Ring of Vitality] and my class. About CHA, I'm sure I won't need too much of it, I'll be ruling by fear- not by some kind of charm like the 'talk no jutsu' naruto uses.

I got a perk for reaching 100 DEX, a fairly unusual one as I can even level it up. But as to why I didn't get another INT perk, I fear that my worries are true, that I get a perk every additional zero. However, there's a singular thing that keeps me from getting mad; the perk just might be the weaker version of an ability I know, a ridiculously powerful one.

[Lesser Instinct] [Active]

LVL 1/50 (0%)

Once a month, you may access the Lesser Instinct which multiplies your DEX twenty times, and makes your reaction speed twice as fast.

Cost: 50% SP, HP and MP per minute

It's a bummer that the cost is so high, but I can work with that, it's gonna probably become cheaper as I level it up, though doing that with such a large delay will be time consuming.

I made a spell of the tier after 'Hell's', one that I spent a long time making, I began working on it after I made Hell's Ignition days ago, which was the 'Hell's' version of Ignite Target. The panel that pops up every time I create a spell didn't describe how to make it, it's possible that's because the process is too complicated; even though it takes a few seconds, I have to stack different [Hell's]-tier spells on one another, in specific positions. Also, the timing on the spells I cast can't be wrong by a millisecond, otherwise it would explode.

[Heaven's Sword]

Creates a sword made of flames so condensed and bright that it seems like it's made of light.

Deals 1000 Fire Damage no matter where it strikes + 250 Burn Damage*

*In the span of 3 seconds

Deals 25 Burn Damage per second in a radius of 5 meters.

Costs 50000MP per second.

I won't be able to use it for extended amounts of time just yet, however a fraction of a second is enough for a strike or two considering how fast I am.

I still haven't gotten a hang of Geppou, as it was too difficult to keep stable in the air, but the technique gave me some ideas. I used the move that would allow me to fly on my hands, that means punching air 10 times in a shorter span of time than it takes for me to blink. The thing is, I would be casting a Hell's Flame out of my fist- that move makes a wave of fire similar to a shockwave, it's obviously slower, but not a lot. I was a bit suprised that mixes of physical and magical techniques don't get classified in the System, but that doesn't matter as Game will probably make a section for that when he notices. I'm starting to doubt he's omnipresent, wouldn't he be able to see everything even when he's sparring with Vingnish? Maybe I'm the one wrong here, he did say I can't comprehend how strong Ving is...

I got up from the boulder I was laying on, and started walking towards the village. As I was on the shore, I used the opportunity to look at the sea. Somewhere out there are all the characters, places and secrets...

I was a few hundered meters away from the stairs that people use. I started running to jump over a high stone barrier that was blocking my way. When I did, I noticed someone on the other side. I landed, before saying

"Alvida."

"Who's there?" The pirate turned in my direction, taking out a sabre. It looks like she hasn't gotten her iconic mace yet.

"I'm not here to fight" I replied. She was still on guard, however she sheathed her weapon.

"You... Capitan hates you." She told in her raspy voice, frowning. "His reason, I understand now." She murmured while eyeing me for possible weapons, I assumed. "I don't have time for this" she added.

Seems that she hasn't developed the traits she has in canon yet, she would be trying to kill me right now, have I encountered her as she was at the start of the series. I guess being a pirate does change you, I've got to be careful not to end up like her, raiding merchant ships, when there's kingdoms to conquer, power to gain and gold to amass... Well, that last one can be kind of assured by living her type of life, but not to an extent I would be satisfied with.

I observed her in the hopes of getting a clue as to why she's here, as I really doubt asking would work.

Thoughts about you - She thinks that you followed her, suspects that you know of her escape attempt.

An escape attempt, what was happening here that she would try to escape? It's probably linked to the changes in the village, but I can't be sure. Nevertheless, I don't think I should bring that up, it could change the turn of events drastically considering the butterfly effect- for example if she wouldn't attack that merchant ship Luffy will be in a barrel on, the way his adventures play out would change drastically. I can't let my meta knowledge become useless so early in the story! I better get out of here quickly before this encounter changes too much.

"Me neither" I said, before leaving at top speed. That way it looked like I disappeared, it may seem a bit sudden to run off like that, but I don't care. I can only hope that this short conversation won't destabilize canon, I want the series not to change until I kill Luffy, after that it can go to hell for all I care, but only after. When Alvida was out of my sight I slowed down to a steady sprint, barely faster than a human. I truly hope that won't change the canon, I don't want to chase the main character on a path I can't predict, that would be very annoying, and possibly dangerous considering some of the cheaty abilities unknown devil fruit users may have.

As I noticed the stairs in the distance, I stopped to think. I jumped over a barrier of rocks almost as high as the cliff, I don't need to use stairs. Why did my extreme WIS stat fail me?

INT/WIS do not modify your actual brain, the only thing they affect except your magical prowess is bonus EXP gain to classes- (INT + WIS) / (LVL x 10) = [Number]%

Oh, so when I unevitably become a god I'll be able to learn anything in the span of a few minutes?

Yes, that's the intention with this mechanic. It wouldn't be fit for such an entity to have the learning speed of a mortal, don't you think?

That's true, Zeus reading on some school subject would be an unnatural sight.

I then jumped as hard as I could, and before I knew it I was flying towards the clouds. I almost let out a startled scream, I never actually jumped with all my strength before, so this is a suprise. I was sure it would be maximum two times the height of the cliff. I guess I shouldn't be that suprised, I've been working on my legs for a week, which can yield a pretty good result considering my status as the Gamer, but this is just overwhelming- now I truly feel the fruits of my training, and man, is it empowering!

As I started falling down, I adjusted myself- I'm fairly sure I can survive this, I just need to make it so that I won't take the damage from falling, my MAX HP is so low that this kind of fall could kill me if I didn't land perfectly, akin to a cat.

The ground getting nearer and nearer I tensed, preparing for my imminent crash, only to make a move of such grace I never thought would be possible. I landed safely, not even a fraction of a HP point was missing, 'landing perfectly' is an understatement. If a DEX of 200 allowed me to jump kilometers in the air, and then land without harming myself, then imagine how insane a thousand would be, or a million! I'm arguably faster than sound, considering the speed my legs must've moved at for me to reach that height, after this stunt I feel even more confident about defeating the Earl.

I got up, and started walking towards the general direction of my house, with the intention of working on my plans- I have the strength, but if I don't know what to do with it, I'll fail. This world is not fictional, I have no plot armor- all the titans in the world government, and in pirates... They are all real and could kill me without lifting a finger, when I finish my plan here, I'll come back to training, that's for sure.

I was sitting at the table with only my thoughts a company as I continued sorting through the few dozen artifacts I've gotten in dungeons, getting them out of my inventory and checking them out. There was a small totem, a black orb, a cup... Variety was clearly visible between the appearance, and the magical properties of the item. The orb radiated darkness and granted a large bonus to sneaking; the totem, if put anwhere near a plant would speed up its growth enough to be seen by the naked eye, and the cup can store a thousand liters. Every one of those artifacts I have on the table has some kind of passive, or active ability. The thing I love about ID's except getting more powerful are the absolutely random yet useful items, I'm sure I would be getting things like rocks, sticks, or even nothing if my luck stat was average.

I looked through my window at the rain, it was of the same intensity as when I heard it the first time I woke up in Abisol. It's perfect for sleeping.

I sighed, walking to bed.

Tomorrow is an important day, it's the true beginning of my journey. In the following days I shall rise to the surface, show my face to the world and take on any challenges it may throw at me. I laid down, before covering myself in the warm bedsheets and closing my eyes, then I got as comfortable as I could, sleep came soon after.

In a large hall with its walls made of steel there were a few long iron tables, on them mounds of various things like maps, scrolls and books on topics ranging from weapons of war to baking.

There were some people dressed in rural clothing reading and writing, sitting at the tables in silence. A muscled, armor-clad individual could be seen sitting on an iron throne at the edge of the hall, drinking ale. His eyes were moving as if he was reading something in the air.

He grinned slightly.

It has been exactly thirty years since he left his place of origin, Alabasta. Four years since his embarassing defeat to that cursed red-haired kid and only a week after he reconsidered his once foolish decisions.

Adryt let some excitement show on his scarred face, it was time he reclaimed what was rightfully his at last. Not by 'friendship', not by the 'love' that some kinds of people may treasure- but by his own, earned might.

The seas will bow to his power.

I know zero fire mage Gamer fanfics, every single one was some specific stuff like void or technomancy, so I thought maybe I should make something new, a fire mage Gamer. Plus it's not like he's gonna be solely a fire mage, his next class will be enchanting.

-r-

NazgulBelserion

What do you think is better in the terms of lore, characters, locations etc: a first time writer's original ideas or Oda's 1000 chapter long manga? I don't want this fanfic to turn into a novel with one piece characters popping up from time to time- I want it to be situated in the world of one piece, not in a random world of islands.

Only the first arc's on my original island, it'll get more familliar once Voruo ventures to the sea.
