The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

"You're kidding. Please, tell me this is a joke." Frieza said, in a clipped tone.

Kikono swallowed the lump in his throat, "No, no, Sir. It's the truth. Apparently, this extract comes from a very rare plant. That is only found exclusively on Earth."

The tyrant gripped the sides of his chair in agitation. Everyone in the room could clearly tell he was not happy with this news. 'Earth, of course it had to be Earth. Where my two biggest foes reside,' he thought. It seems like nothing ever comes easy anymore. Not even something like finding a certain extract from a supposedly rare plant.

Frieza composed himself once more, before addressing his subordinate again.

"Do we at least have an idea on which area and region this plant grows?" He asks.

"Not entirely sure, My Lord. But perhaps the scientists may know. Shall I go ask them?" Kikono asked.

"Yes, that is fine. And while your at it, see if we can spare a couple drones to send to that region to locate them." Frieza replied.

Kikono gave him a questioning look, "My Lord? Why not just send some of our men out to search for it and retrieve it?"

"Because we don't know how long it may take for them to locate it. Those monkeys are still currently on Earth. If we sent out a small group of soldiers there from the start, Goku and Vegeta may be able to locate them. We send the drones in first to find the plants. Once they are found, then we will send some men down to quickly retrieve them. They will need to work fast. Because the longer they stay on Earth, the sooner those super simians may find them." Frieza stated.

Kikono bowed his head, "Yes, My Lord."

He retreated from the room to seek out the scientists.

Frieza turned his attention to Berryblue.

"Have the drones we already sent down there picked up any interesting developments with those two monkeys?" He asks.

She shakes her head, "Not yet, My Lord. But I think it maybe a good idea to keep a close watch on Vegeta's Wife. After all, she is a scientist. Who's to say, that she may not have any of this extract down in her lab? Might be worth a look."

Frieza rubs his chin in thought, "Perhaps, but just because she is a scientist; doesn't mean she will have this particular one on hand. But I do see your point. We will have the drones closely monitor the lab. They have already been monitoring the residence, let's have them focus on the one area that the lab is in. Just make sure nobody spots them. Bring them in close but not too close."

Berryblue bows, "Yes, My Lord."

3 Weeks Later on Earth at the Brief's Residence...

"Damn, Bulma. How many enhancements have you made to your lab since I was last here?" Christina asked, as she looked around her lab.

"Oh, just a few here and there." She shrugs off.

The younger woman gives her a; 'Yeah Right', kind of look. Bulma just waves her hand.

"Really, only a few. The only thing new, are some of the projects I've been working on. In fact if you like; I can show you one of the things I've been working on." Bulma told her.

"Yeah, that be cool. Create anything to finally label you a 'Mad' Scientist yet?" Christina teased.

The blue haired woman just rolls her eyes at the jest.

"Nope, sorry. No Frankenstein Monsters around here. Though I have done some repairs on a couple androids once upon a time." Bulma says, as she walks her over to a long, thin table by one of the large windows.

Pieces of equipment, parts, and some vials littered the metal table. One of which had this bright, neon green liquid in it. Christina carefully picked it up and looked at it in the light. Then looked back to her friend.

"What is this? Some kind of new chemical compound or something?" She asks.

"Well, it is a compound. Just not a chemical one. This one actually comes from a more natural source. Ninety-Eight Percent of it's properties come from a very rare plant The Blue Purple Hibiscus Flower. It's not exactly a native flower to these parts. But I work with many scientists overseas. A few colleagues were nice enough to send me some.

From there, I was able to extract the Phloem Sap from a few of the flowers. Which have these certain properties in them that are not seen in any other plants. A team of Botanists are still analyzing the properties. So far; they have had some pretty interesting outcomes. They found some healing properties within them that could be supplemented into medicines. But, I recently found something else within the extract that maybe even more powerful." She explained.

Christina was quite intrigued and leaned in to hear some more.

"Really? Healing properties? That's pretty amazing. But what do you mean by something more powerful?" She asks.

"As in, possible means of faster transportation. Like somewhere very far away." Bulma replied.

Christina started to chuckle a little at these silly results.

"C'mon Bulma, what your talking about sounds like it comes from the world of Sci-Fi. Kind of reminds me of something they would experiment on in Stargate or some other Science Fiction Show or Movie." She said, with some laughter in her voice.

The blue haired scientist didn't reply. Just grabbed a couple other vials of liquids. She then poured the contents of the other two vials into the larger one with the plant extract. From there, she corked it, and carefully swished around the contents inside, mixing them altogether. Then to Christina's amazement, there were tiny flashes coming from the vial. It reminded her of bottled lightning.

When Bulma was done thoroughly mixing it up, she uncorked it. Christina arched a brow in question, then quickly it turned to horror, when she started to tip the vial.

"Wait Bulma, what are you doing!? That could explode for all we know!" Christina says, fear evident in her voice.

"Just trust me, Chrissie." Was all Bulma said.

Then she tipped it enough for a few drops to pour out. They landed in a small trey beneath it. Some light blue sparks start coming out of the tiny wet spot, that expanded to the width and circumference of a baseball. Now that the liquids were all mixed together, it looked very shiny and metallic in appearance as it rippled and crackled.

Then to the younger woman's amazement, an image started forming in the tiny pool of crackling liquid. A few moments later, the image became very clear. It looked like an image of some kind of tropical rainforest. Christina gasped and snapped her attention back to Bulma.

"What? What the hell just happened? Just what is that!?" Christina asked, clearly shocked.

"It's as I was trying to tell you. It's a faster means of transportation...Via a Portal to be exact. Watch this..." She said, then eased her hand through the micro portal.

Christina's blue eyes widened as she watched Bulma's hand disappear through the 'Hole'. Then she pulled it back out.

"Want to give it a try?" Bulma asked, and gestured to it.

The younger woman was very hesitant, but trusted her friend not to have her try something that could potentially be dangerous. So she slowly started inching her hand into the tiny portal, and was amazed as she watched her own hand go in and through it. Here, she thought it was some kind of freaky 3-D kind of imaging. Christina could actually feel the heat and humidity on the other side though, along with a slight warm breeze.

She slowly looked back up to Bulma, who had a small knowing smile on her face. Christina flexed her fingers, feeling the warmth from the sun on her hand. Before she finally pulled her hand back out.

"Ok, I'm willing to believe you literally just created a portal in your lab. But how and what place is this?" Christina asks.

"As I said, the compounds in the extract are still a mystery. One that I am still currently looking into. I think a lot of it may have to do with the molecular structuring and genomes present in the flower's life sap. As for the place we are currently looking at...if I had to guess; some tropical rainforest somewhere on Earth.

Could be somewhere in Southeast Asia or could be the Amazon Rainforest for all we know. This is all still very new and I'm still taking it through small trial runs. I have managed to make a portal with this extract along with some other components. But still have yet to learn how to control where it opens a portal to. Still, I see this as a great head start. I've been working with this extract for the last few months without any results. I've only ever managed to accomplish this little feat about two weeks ago." Bulma explained.

"That's amazing. You really are way too brilliant for your own good sometimes. Except one thing. How do you close it?" Christina asks.

"I'd figure you'd ask me that at some point." She said.

Bulma went over to one of her other tables and started pulling a couple things out of one of the cabinets above. Then she brought it all over to the table where the fist size portal was. She opened a sack and stuck her hand in. She pulled out what looked like some fine black powder. Then she went into another sack and pulled out a handful of what looked like sand. She mixed them together in her hands then dropped the two handfuls on the portal.

There was a small reaction as the particles mixed in with the crackling energy of the portal. It lasted all but a few moments, before the crackling ceased altogether. There were tiny plumes of smoke coming off the small pile. Bulma put her hand on the table off to the right of the pile. Then she swiped her hand across it. When she did; there was no portal! It was as if it was never there!

"The hell!? Looked like you just pulled some Houdini shit right there!" Christina blurted.

Bulma laughed a little at her friend's response.

"Yeah, you can kind of put it that way. It seems to have a negative reaction to tough particles, especially ones mixed together like the ones I just used. Took me a while to figure that one out too. This is only the second time I was able to test that out. But it's effective and it works. So what do you think? Pretty cool huh?" She says.

"I don't think I can find any good words to describe that. But yeah, it was pretty fucking amazing. Like always, you seem to have outdone yourself again, Bulma. I guess this is where I say; Congrats." Christina said.

"Thanks, Hun. But don't congratulate me yet. I still have a long ways to go with perfecting this project." Bulma replied.

They chatted for a few more minutes before someone else appeared near the lab entrance.

"Knock, knock. You two ladies ready for some tea out o the balcony?" Panty Briefs asks.

"Yeah, thanks Panty." Christina said.

"Ready when you are, Mom." Bulma replied.

Both ladies exited the lab and the three women walked through the house to get to the other side where the large balcony was located. Both unaware that a small drone had been watching them through the lab window. Not only that, but it recorded the whole scene from the beginning to the end. Before it finally flew off and headed to one of the smaller command ships orbiting just outside of Earth's Atmosphere.

Back on Frieza's Main Ship...

Kikono arrived in the main room with a smile on his face.

"Lord Frieza, I have some very good news. Apparently sending a drone to monitor that woman's lab paid off." He said, then hands Frieza the feed.

The Galactic Emperor tapped the screen to view the latest findings. What he saw astounded him and amazed him at the same time. She actually did it, Vegeta's Wife succeeded in breaking the barrier and creating a portal. It was more than evident that she did have the extract on hand, and by the look at the amount she had; it was enough for his scientists to create a portal big enough for them to go through. A wide grin broke out on his face.

"Excellent, let's gather up a couple men. We will send them down there to retrieve the extract. Tell them to wait until everyone leaves the residence. As long as they get in and out without raising the alarm, we shall be good. Just make sure to remind them to wait until 'No One' is on the premises before they move in." Frieza instructed.

Kikono bowed, and left to gather a couple soldiers suited for the task. Frieza sat back in his large chair and gazed out of the huge bay window. Berryblue was floating nearby as usual. A grin decorated her face as she kept her gaze ahead, out the same window.

"Things are finally set in motion, Berryblue. All we have to do now is wait. As long as they remember to enter the Residence when it is vacant, we won't hit any problems." Frieza said, to his subordinate.

"Indeed, My Lord. And soon you will be able to travel more efficiently to any world you wish. Including ones we have yet to venture to. No doubt, it will make your Empire flourish again like it has before." She replied.

Blue Purple Hibiscus Flowers are in fact real. They are also some of the rarest flowers around. Until Next Time ;)
