Hello my peeplips!

So yeah, i'll be honest i was shocked to see i had my Fav's and followers for this story then i expected. This is mostly due to the fact, not many people watch/read Youjo Senki. Despite it being the little hidden gem among anime that it is, this was shocking but a pleasant shock. Only thing i'm mad about is i can't get the movie for this show, honestly i can't even see the movie on youtude. It's really annoying and all i could find were funny clips form the movie.

One being where, you'd question if Tanya had finally, really and truly gone mad after all that she'd been through. Not that i can blame her, as she said it herself,"War makes you crazy."

Plus not everyone has an ego-manic posing as God breathing down you're neck. Or maybe it truly is the "God" of that world, but i honestly don't know. I'm certain everyone knows of the multiverse theory and if there is any truth to it, then it is possible Tanya really is being screwed over by the god of her/his world.

At least, that's what i think anyway.

Anyway this'll be a very short chapter, as i just want to show everyone "Yes i am alive and this is not dead, i LIVE" kinda of deal. Plus i'd figure this would be better then nothing and we see how Tanya gets bit by the love bug. Also, to those who are wondering why Tanya is still a kid(Body wise anyway) it's because that is the meat of this story.

Now, most adults can't come onto kids for obvious reasons. We hear horror stories about that all the time but what about one, where it's the KID that comes into the adult? And one that has the mentally of a ruthless salesman, being reborn into the body of a little girl?

Honestly that's just asking for trouble and the comedy that follows it is just too good to pass up! So as always i don't own anything.

Chapter 2: The Devil Falls(In Love)

Tanya was worried.

It's been nearly a mouth since she started training her new battalion and she had began to...notice it.

For ten years she had not heard a word, nor peep form that bastard Being X and suddenly, while she was about to go to sleep no less, he came patronize her.

Again.

Despite "Blessing" her with a powerful jewel, it was cursed so she have to pray to the SOAB(Son of a bitch) in order to use it's power. Admittedly it's power was amazing, it would no doubt be what keeps her alive on the front lines but that wasn't what Tanya was really worried about. As much as she hated to admit it, Tanya was very worried.

Worry was useless.

It was an emotion that caused people to act illogical and Tanya was anything BUT an illogical person. Tanya had built her entire life on following rules, being a logical and insightful person so she(He back in her/his first life) so she could get the life of luxury she's always sought after. Even if that meant, stepping on others, using them and outright manipulating to get that goal, she do it in a heart beat.

Now this might make her sound like an conniving, calculating and out right evil bitch.

But she wasn't, she really wasn't and what's wrong with wanting the good life?

Is there something wrong with getting said life of luxury, one she has worked so hard for?

What's more, is there something wrong with self-preservation?

The answer is absolutely not.

True, Tanya's methods were crude and even cruel to a point but she felt, she held none of the blame. After all, she was only following the orders of the higher up and or basically, her boss's. In both this life and her past, she firmly believed she was void of all wrong doing, simple because she was following orders. That's what workers/soldiers do, they do as their told and since she was merely following orders, she didn't do any of this of her own free will.

Therefor, legally her hands were as clean as freshly fallen snow.

In a dark twisted way Tanya was right.

She, for the most part, was just a weapon(Mouth piece) for the higher ups. She didn't decide it, she just did what she was told. So what was wrong with that, she was only doing her job and there fore, did that make her evil?

Maybe, maybe not.

Tanya has committed the most horrible acts, not because she herself was evil, but to give the other neighboring countries a damn good reason NOT TO FUCK WITH THE EMPIRE!

In truth she didn't want to kill anyone, nor did she want to massacre anyone. All she was doing was making a point, that if you fuck with the empire(And by that extension Tanya herself) and how bad of an idea that was.

In short, their enemies brought it upon themselves and Tanya was at fault for nothing. She didn't force them to invade the empire. She didn't force them to aim their guns and weapons at imperial soldiers. And she most certainly, didn't force them to send there own soldiers to an early grave. Tanya was merely doing her duty to her home and responded in kind.

She was a soldier, not a monster.

Despite what some people thought.

The sad fact is this, as a poor orphaned baby girl she had little to no chance at getting the life, she so desperately wanted. It didn't matter if she was skilled, talented or even ugh pretty, in both this world and her old one there was a clear divide between the rich and the poor. Tanya was in the latter category rather then the former and was all but doomed to a miserable life.

So really, the army was her only way for her to even gain a chance to reach the life she always wanted. So really, if people want to blame someone for all the death and carnage she brought, then blame their so called "God".

Not her.

The entire situation she was in, forced to commit these atrocious acts was because of this so called "God". This was all his fault, as for one reason or another, Being X felt the need to make a point. One that Tanya had no intention of seeing or even considering it. Because if she did, then that mean he would win and like hell, Tanya was going to let that bastard win anything!

Tanya had made it her life's mission, besides proving Being X wrong, to basically deny him ANY kind of satisfaction. The best way to do that, was to get the life she always wanted and that would be the ultimate slap in the face to Being X.

And Tanya's satisfaction.

However the situation had changed, as she found herself in new territory as this was not caused by the war. But in fact by that damnable Being X himself. She was well within the mouth of training her new recruits when she met, him.

Flashback

THUMP

"Oaf"

"Oww, what the hell?! Which where you're...goi...ng."

The scene couldn't be more cheesey even if Tanya tried to make it. In her old life, Tanya had heard of the age old,"Love at first sight" something she found to be both, stupid and ridiculous. As a matter of fact, the blonde found love to be completely overrated all together. There was nothing logical about love and as such, did not fit into Tanya's otherwise, narrowed point of view.

Until now, that is.

"Oh shit, sorry Major! I didn't see you there."

Well not really surprising, given her height at 4'5 foot tall at best. This man was at least, fucking 6'0 foot tall, very little wonder why he didn't see her rounding the corner. The small reincarnated blonde had to crane her neck to see the one she ran into and would have gone into a full rant, maybe even adding a little bit of violence to it, but it died in her throat once she got a proper look at him.

THUMP

"W-what the hell? What the hell is wrong with me?"

Tanya thought to herself, as for some reason her heart sped up, skipping a beat no less! She felt her cheeks, hell her entire face got very hot for no apparent reason, other then she was looking at his face. Now that she was looking, it was clear to Tanya that the soldier wasn't native to the empire. But before she could even question him, the soldier said,"Look i have to go, so i'll see you later major."

Then he was gone, leaving Tanya standing there, cheeks red and face flushed.

"Who was that and where...can i find him again?"
