Origins #4 - Prediction!
From Peter using his own created webs on his face to keep his identity a secret from anyone else, but Kim, Jason, and Dexter to know all about it to keep to themselves. Well, for Kim to help Peter out to study more about his spider powers, Jason love super heroes to be crazy to keep good secrets deep down, and for Dexter…Well, he's smart enough for a mouse with human feelings and such to keep his little eyes open on things. For Peter to be swinging around for the other three to follow him to make an entrance.
"Hello, world! My name is Peter Parker. But you all might know me more as…Web Face!"
Not to Kim, Jason, or Dexter to liking that type of super hero name.
"Web Face?" confused Kim. "I don't think so…"
"What about Bug Boy? Or Daddy Long Legs?" Jason guessed too for Dexter to say something to come up with a name too. "Nah, I don't think Dung Bug isn't good either, Dexter, but that I would take for a super hero name."
"Do you even know what type of bugs are those, Jason?"
With Kim asking Jason that question, he was left clueless to think about it at all.
"Ah…cousin spiders…?"
She drops the subject for now to keep on following Peter around town. For a fortune teller tells Peter about things to come for him…Fortune, fame, and learning more on his skills…to spraying web on her by accident; and leaving because the web was coming off his face to be shown. As Kim, Jason, and Dexter rushes over to Peter side to paying the lady too, the next step was predictions. Guess he likes the idea to do next, to getting some clothes.
"…And something to get the web stuff out of my nose." Peter tries picking at his nose to get it out.
As the three catch up to Peter to hear of the next plan, they agree to help him out make the costume for him. Or lending him a hand.
"Ah…Sounds like a good idea there. Oh, right. We forgot to introduce ourselves to you." Kim goes first. "I guess I owe you a lot for me to study upon you. I'm Kimberly Brooks. Well, others call me Kim for short."
Jason was next to act cool with Dexter waving too on top of his friend's shoulder.
"I'm Sis's little step-brother, Jason Brooks. I handle with the fun heavy lifting to do something from here to there. And this is our friend that we saved from the labs who was being tested on, and this smartest mouse in the world to be my best friend too, Dexter Brooks."
Dexter was smart to shake Peter's little finger too.
"Cool. A smart mouse, amazing…" he then introduces himself to the others and to be blushing in front of Kim. "My name is…I'm Peter Parker…Is nice to meet with you three."
Guess this was taken care of for Jason to say this part next…
"Alright, who wants a fun fashion show?!" he said out loud.
Kim hits her little step brother on the head. And so, you know, Kim lost her family to be taken in by Jason's Mother and Father to raise her with a good life, family, and home to be a scientist as well.
"Yeah, I was taken in by his family to raise me as their daughter to grow up with this little guy. Jason, keep quiet…! If we help Peter, we need to keep this a secret. No one must know about Peter as a spider type of super hero, but the three of us. So zip it."
"Okay! Okay! I get the point…Or picture." he said. "I'll keep quiet. You too, Dexter."
Trying to get something for Peter with Jason and Dexter to do this part while Kim was waiting. From wearing a Halloween costume…too Halloween-like. Something like a kid would wear, too weird. Wearing something all street punk-like…too much. And finally, putting some clothes together to have Peter looking cool with goggles on too. The others like it, only to have the sweat pants belong to Peter's Aunt May.
"Well, it's not too girlie." Kim said.
"It isn't!" Peter got embarrassed.
Kim just laughs to tell Peter that she likes it.
"Looking good, Peter, let's keep it up."
For Kim to be smart, friendly, and pretty for Peter to be staring at her…he had to ask Jason more about his older step-sister. Related or not, I think he was falling for this girl.
"Jason, hey! Do you know anything else about Kim? Anything at all?" he asked.
He did just ask them. Jason and Dexter both looked at each other to try answering Peter's question.
"Don't look at me, Peter." he said. "From Sis can be such a push over to me all the time. She works, loves science, barely has some friends sometimes to be too shy but Dexter and me, and she wants to fit in on other things. A nerd and super smart if you want to call it."
"Wow, Kim likes science too just like me…She's super cute! I might be falling for her…" Peter was blushing.
Ah, he was in love…For Jason and Dexter to be surprised to hear some guy to have a thing for Kim 'for a few others do'.
"Hold up! You're falling for Sis?! And I here I thought I was more of a smooth operator."
Yeah, right…Jason was a lady's man on certain girls. For him, Dexter, and Kim kept on watching Peter improving his skills of predictions so far; to try to think of what type of fame that Peter should be in – video games, talk show, something on the internet, or a kid's show…? Yeah, we get the idea. But sadly, nothing comes to mind.
"Hmm…I got nothing." Peter said.
From seeing a lot of poster all over the walls, Jason pulls one to show it to Peter.
"Wrestling…?" he goes up to his new friend/hero. "Hey, Peter, would you this do?"
"Jason? Really? You want to make Peter wrestle with strangers?" she freaks out.
"What? It's one good way to test out more of his new-found skills. Please…?"
From Dexter to have seconds thoughts about it 'almost', Peter sees it to like the idea too.
"Wrestling…that's it!" Peter goes for it. "I think it'll be fine, Kim, Jason might be on to something here. And what better way to by doing the next step on my research…experimentation."
And for that, they go with it to see Peter in action to dress up as someone else in public. For Jason and Dexter were going to help their friend enter in a wrestling match thing, Kim has a lot more paper work to write down as well. For her little step brother's crazy idea to ask this next question…
"So, where do we sign up?"
