After being alerted to Apple having run off, Raven went to find her with the other two chasing after her.
"Can't believe I never realized just how fast she is," said Briar as she and Cerise ran after Raven but neither of them were closer than three feet to her.
"I know what you mean," said Cerise.
"Even I can't keep up with her, and I can outpace a full grown wolf," she thought while staring at the back of Raven's head. At the same time, Apple had lost track of the little girl and was trying to locate her.
"Where did she go?" asked Apple as she looked around. She then heard something from above her, and when Apple looked up she saw the little girl falling out of a tree and landing just a couple of feet away from her.
"It… it hurts!" said the girl as a large gash appeared in her blacked out face over where her left eye should be, blood ran down to her chin and fell to the ground before her head landed as she passed out. At the sight of this Apple let out a blood curdling scream while falling backwards onto her butt, this scream was so powerful that it caused a flock of birds to fly away but also alerted Raven's group to her location.
"Apple!" said Raven as the three ran over to her.
"Raven the… the girl fell from a tree… her face… cut open… blood... oh godmother," said Apple who was hyperventilating while crying while looking at the spot where the girl had been, but did not find her there at all.
"Where… where did she?" asked Apple as she looked around.
"It's just a nightmare, Apple, you'll wake up soon," said Raven as she used her magic to put her to sleep.
"What the hex was she talking about, Raven?" asked Briar.
"First I have to get Apple back to our room," said Raven as she put the blonde on her back.
"No, you'll talk… now," said Briar as she stood in front of her, but grew worried when Raven's eyes glowed with her magic.
"I'll only say this once, move," said Raven. Briar did as she said and moved out of her way without any further word.
"I've never seen her that mad before," said Cerise whose right hand was actually shaking from the fear that she felt at the sight of Raven in that moment.
