Chapter 3: Fearleading Squad.
Two weeks past since the two Titans has been sent to another world and attended Monster High and their lives has somewhat changed for the both of them. Gojira and Kong has starting to get accustomed to their new lives. They have found their place to stay thanks to Headmistress Bloodgood, they are living in their separate dorm rooms where Monsters that lives far away stays to attend and/or transferred to the school. Gojira had learned to eat food how Kong and other Monsters do, since all his life was eating radiation from the Earth itself and the Alpha Titan has started to get accustomed to his new food source, and he's somewhat pleased that he's able to feed something other than radiation.
They have learned many things while they're in Monster High, Science, Maths, English, all kinds of period lessons that they learned so far. They both learned through the area that the Monsters called 'Library' where it contains some vital information about the biology mostly related to their current body and how to blend in like the others. They learned how to wash like taking a shower or having a bath as well as taking care of their hygiene and wearing different sets of cloths that Bloodgood gave them that fits their appearances. It was progressing quite well due to their unique adaptabilities they tend to have, but there are still things that they need to overcome in order to live with their new lives so it will take time.
Another thing has change for them is the relationship with the other Monsters that they made acquaintance with for the past two weeks. The Monsters tend to hang out with the Titans most of the time whenever they have a chance. Kong mostly spends time with Frankie along with Draculaura and Clawdeen as well as Clawd while Gojira, despite not being a people person at times, tends to hangs out with Lagoona and sometimes Deuce whenever he has nothing else to do.
Cleo, However, was a little bit of a handful for Kong and Gojira. While Kong somewhat 'tolerates' a 'young' Mummy's attitude only because Frankie works with her, Gojira however was irritated by her self-centred and egotistical personality and the fact that she revers to herself as 'Queen' of this school. But despite all that, they do get along, for some parts.
Kong somehow got himself in a rivalry with Manny Taur, who he humiliates the first day he entered Monster high and they don't get along. When he tried out the activity that Clawd was offering called Casketball, the Minitour was not at all happy and tries to get him to leave, but Clawd wanted to give the Primate Titan a chance to play a sports game which Manny reluctantly let Kong play.
Kong want to observe first to see how the Monsters play, only to see them around with a ball while evading those who're trying to get the ball and throws/slams it to the goal. Once Kong decided to have a go, he was challenge by the top bully which he accept. It took short practice, but with his incredible adaptability skills he has he was able to win against Manny. Clawd and other players were impressed and asked him to be part of their team, although Kong declined the offer but says that he will play again some other time.
Gojira Tried out the pool that he first visited since he first came to the school with Kong before he have a lesson called Deep Swim. Lagoona was more than happy to teach him some swimming techniques when they're in the pool. Gojira thought most of those techniques Lagoona demonstrate was ridicules, but he was able to try them out even during the period. He is most comfortable of doing front strokes and breaststrokes, but he prefers to swim like he usually do.
Right now, they're in a lesson called Maths with a odd looking human named Lou Zarr, the substitute teacher of Monster High. Or as some Monsters called him, the most boring, humourless and stiff teacher in Monster High. Both Titan look on with a bored expression as some Monsters fell asleep during class while the Substitute Teacher continuing his teaching.
"The co-efficient of the third doey decimal, can only be lateralised to solve for X..." He continued on his teaching as the Monsters are either extremally bored or fall to slumber. The teacher finishes with a question. "...Can anyone tell me why?"
"How boresome," Kong thought getting tired of his teaching, almost literally in fact.
"This is a waste of time." Gojira thought, subconsciously agreeing with the Primate Titan.
Kong his head towards Frankie who's sitting right next to him and whispered to her. "Is this how you deal with whenever he teaches?"
"Pretty much, yeah." Frankie answered, her hands on her chin and her elbows on the desk with a bored look on her face. She turn to face Kong and Gojira with a sweat reassuring smile. "But I'm sure we'll be getting out of here in no time."
"I certainly hope so." Gojira growled out as he's starting to get a little agitated while they saw the Substitute Teacher was beginning to feel very tired and eventually fell asleep. This earns a sweat drop from the Titan as they have a confused expression on there faces.
Frankie saw this and giggled. "That happens too."
After that boring Math lesson that the Titans felt for the first time, they're walking through the hallway with Frankie gone with them. As they kept walking they notice something different as they continue on. They see signs and banners that said 'FEARLEADING TRYOUTS' as well as 'WE WANT YOU' that are attached on the walls and hanging on the ceiling.
"What's going on here?" Kong wondered wanting to know what's happening in this part of the school area.
"You see yesterday, me and other 'former' Fearleading Squad were practicing different type of techniques, but for Cleo being a 'perfectionist', she doesn't like what we do and demanded that we should try better and harder." Frankie explained. "And as the result, the Fearleading Squad quit and left Cleo, all except me."
"I assume Cleo was thankful that you stayed?" Gojira asked, aware that Frankie wanted to fit in despite a Mummy's drive of perfection, as well as being self-centred around almost everything.
"Yeah. I told her why I stayed and I got promoted to the team." Frankie said smiling before looking down in shame. "But then I got de-promoted when I spilled a smoothie on her... again."
Frankie soon look up at the Titans as her sense of shame disappeared. "I'm gonna go to the Indoor Gym to see if there's any possible new members joined in. You two can come if you like?"
Kong Hummed in thought about whether or not he should come, but after a quick thought Kong made his decision. "Alright, I come with. What about you, Gojira?"
"I'll come, might as well see how it goes." Gojira said. He doesn't usually like get involved in such non unimportant like seeing new members of Cleo's group, but he would make an exception only to see if all of these strange signs would even work.
"Great! Let's go." Frankie said happily as they walk towards the direction where the signs and banners are leading them, which was the Indoor Gym.
They've finally reached the Indoor Gym. They've suspect that the number of Monster girls be taking part of Fealeading. but as they look around they see literally no one as the whole area was empty.
"Aw. Nobody's here." Frankie said sadly with a frown look on her face.
"So far I'm not really surprise." Gojira said casually as he would have a feeling that there's a high chance that nobody is gonna join the group with Cleo.
Kong turn to Frankie. "How do you think she's gonna react?"
"Well, if I know her well..." Frankie was guessing until they heard a door opened behind them. They turn around and saw Cleo with he arms crossed, eyes closed and a smile with Ghoulia beside her.
"Prepare to do my bidding." She stated confidently before opening her, only to stop smiling and look on to see no one was in the room, besides Frankie who is clapping and the Titans. Cleo gasp in shock as she look around, until she sets her eyes on Gojira and Kong. "Wait, why are you two here?"
"We heard from Frankie that you wanted to have new girls joining your Fearleading Squad." Kong explained. "So we come here with her just to see."
"And seeing there's nobody here, it seams that your plan to gather new followers to your group failed." Gojira said almost bluntly as Cleo look down depressed. Ghoulia groaned while placing her hand on her shoulders in reassurance.
"Maybe I have been too hard on them. I thought I need to be a strong ruler, a tough leader... but I guess I was wrong." Cleo sigh in sadness as she turn back towards the door. "Next time, things will be different, if there isn't, next time."
With a sob, she opened the door and left the Indoor Gym, leaving the two Ghouls and Two Titan in the large room. Frankie and Ghoulia felt bad for her as Frankie wanted to do something to help her as well as Ghoulia since she's her friend despite being Cleo's assistant. Kong and oddly enough Gojira are starting to feel sympathy for the young Mummy. They can actually see it in her eyes that she wanted what's best for her squad and was willing to change her ways, despite what Gojira thinks of her, but they have a strong feeling that Cleo is not gonna change. They don't know why, but they just have a feeling.
Seconds later, Frankie's bolts light up in electricity as she gasp in delight. "Ghoulia, Kong, Gojira! Idea! I can go recruit people, rebuild the squad for Cleo!"
"What?" Kong asked with his eyebrow raised along with Gojira.
Ghoulia groaned while shaking her head. Gojira and Kong didn't understood what she's saying only to ask the Monsters for translation. There advice was to look at the Zombie dictionary, but they haven't got into it just yet.
"I know. People think she's a total... perfectionist." Frankie said understood a young Zombie. "But that was the old Cleo. You three saw her, she's change."
Gojira look at the Primate Titan and whispered to him. "I have a feeling that won't be the case."
Kong couldn't help but nodded at what the Prehistoric Titan has said.
Frankie turn to face the Titans. "I don't know if you two have nothing else to do but I have to ask. Will you two be able to help me?"
Kong thought about it for a moment. it's true that he doesn't have anything else to do until he have his next lesson, so it wouldn't hurt to help her out. He look at Frankie and answered. "Alright. I'll help out the best I can."
Frankie gasp with electricity starts flowing around her bolts, happy that the first boy she made friends with is willing to help her. She turn towards Gojira. "What about you, Gojira."
"Sorry, but I'll pass. I got something that is more important than this." Gojira replied before taking his leave to the door. He soon stop mid way and look behind his shoulders. "Also, good luck with 'rebuilding the squad for Cleo'."
With that final statement, he soon left the Gym leaving Kong, Frankie and Ghoulia who're the only ones left. Kong frown a little by his leave and his bluntness but he does somewhat understand that he doesn't want to get involved unless he needs to. Frankie and Ghoulia were almost the same as Frankie pouted and Ghoulia groaned out about Gojira's leave.
"I know right. He doesn't have to be so stick in the mud." Frankie agreed to whatever Ghoulia had said.
"That's just who he is. You'll get use to it once you know him better." Kong said as he turn to face Frankie. "Also, 'Stick in the mud'?"
"Yeah you know, Being moody, always serious, never really smile..." Frankie listed off until he notice something and face Kong. "Come to think of it. You never smile either."
Kong frown a little when she said he doesn't smile. "I rarely smile. In fact, I never properly smile ever since I was... and infant."
Frankie gasp slightly as she look at him with a worried look, she never thought he wasn't able to smile for that long. "Oh my ghoul. Did something happened to you?"
Kong look down while closed his eyes as he starting having flashback of his previous life, mainly the time he last seen his parents, before they were slaughtered by the true 'Monster' before his very eyes. He wanted to reach them with his hands from his hiding place to save them, but couldn't do anything. He clenched his fist and growled slightly, felt his tears about to come out from his eyes. He pushed all of that thought away and wipe his eyes before looking at the door, avoiding eye contact from extremally worried Frankie.
"Let's just get this done." Kong said, not really wanna talk about his tragic past as he walked out of the Indoor Gym.
Frankie look on where Kong has left and couldn't help but be very concerned for the Primate Titan, feeling absolutely horrible for asking what is obviously a sensitive topic. she didn't mean to ask him such a question when she saw the pain, tears and a small spark of rage in his eyes and she wants nothing more than to help him. She decides that she'll first form a Fearleading Squad and then apologies to Kong. She wave a concerned Ghoulia telling her to see her later and rushed out to follow Kong.
"What has Kong been through?" Frankie couldn't help but thought, worried for the boy who she ever enjoy being with.
Meanwhile with Gojira, he was walking down the hallway with his tail dragging on the floor thinking about himself. He wad deep in thought about almost everything, about his current life that he's in now, learning how to blend in with the other Monster that he and Kong somewhat transformed into and thinking about what to do next. He's fully aware that it was a matter of time until he and his fellow Titan have to leave high school, and he doesn't have any plans other than travel around the new world, mostly searching for his arch rival and nemesis, Ghidorah. He know he's out there, no doubt transformed into Human/Monster-like being like him and Kong, plotting to reshaping this world in his own image and disrupting the balance of nature. He knew he has to find the False King before it happens, but since he can't sense him and most likely laying low and adjusting to the new environment, he has no choice but to wait until he is able to reveal himself so he can end him once and for all.
He later stops walking and look through the window from his right, looking at the forest that was around the school. He can sense the unusual power of nature coming from the forest, as he can able to sense and feel the environment around him. It is extremely different and foreign from his original world, but he can still sense the natural environment in this new world and radiation coming from deep underneath the soil that he walk on. Gojira always feed on radiation to survive, that's how he was able to live for so long. He is somewhat satisfied that he was able to have a different taste of many food sustenance for his body needs, but sometimes he miss feeding on radiation beneath the Earth.
He's also thinking about his other allies that was helping him before transported here, mainly his queen and his long life companion, Mosura. He wondered where she could be, and hopefully that she's in good health and has a place to stay. He always cares about her, due to them having a symbiotic relationship, meaning that there're somewhat soulmates. He could sense her of where she could be, but they have to be at least in medium range if they would able to sense each other, his dorsal plates will flare up from up to down if she is nearby. He worries about her safety as well, given that Mosura most likely has a new form and a high chance she won't be able to reincarnate anymore, but no doubt she's able to take care of herself.
Then there's Rodan, the King of the Skies of his old home. There're somewhat in good terms, and thought side by side in few occasions when the balance was disrupted, but sometime Rodan can be a little bit of what the Monsters calls 'cocky' and they sometimes bicker. He also questioned about about his loyalty, because the first time Ghidorah first entered his territory, Rodan sided with him because he thinks the False King is the better Alpha Titan until Gojira put Ghidorah in the Antarctica to be freeze in stasis. And when Ghidorah resurface, the Fire Demon sided with Gojira to end the Titan Pretender, which confused him as to why he sided with him and not Ghidorah. Perhaps he would ask him when they meet again when the time comes.
Gojira growly sighed, his thoughts goes back to Mosura, still wondering of where she could be. He muttered softly. "Mosura..."
"Hey mate?"
Gojira blinked for a second breaking away from his thoughts before turn around, only to see Lagoona standing near him with a couple of books in her hands. "Lagoona, surprised to see you here."
"I've just finished my period in Deep Swim. I was gonna self study until I saw you here." Lagoona said before she smiled cheerfully. "Oh! And I just made captain of the swim team as well for my impressive swimming skill."
Gojira look at her when she say that last statement. He have a feeling that being called captain is some form of leadership as far as he can tell. "I see. Well I guess, congratulation are in order."
Lagoona giggled. "Thanks Gojira." She then look at him with her eyebrow raised a little. "If you don't mind me asking, mate. Who is Mosura you mentioned?"
"You heard?" Gojira asked as Lagoona nodded. Gojira sigh, might as well tell her. "She's my... long time friend, as you can say. We've known each other for as long as we can remember."
"Really? So you two are childhood friends?" She asked. Gojira somewhat nodded, he wouldn't say that there're 'childhood friends', just that they've been together for more than a thousand years. "So what is she like."
Gojira was silent for a moment as he look through the window to the daylight sky. "She's... very nice, always kind hearted and cares about life around her, both nature and living beings alike. She's not afraid to defend herself and all forms of life from those who would bring harm to it. She also goes out her way of defending me, even though I don't need any."
"She sound like a very kind person, mate. It's always nice for someone to help you out of the water." Lagoona said getting a hum from the Alpha Titan in agreement, he doesn't usually ask assistants from other Titans but he does need an extra hand, or claw as he puts it, when the situation calls it. Lagoona continued. "So where is she now?"
"I don't know. We got separated before coming here." Gojira answered while looking down slightly, having a sense of sadness inside of him. "I... haven't seen her since."
"Crikey, I'm so sorry to hear that, mate." Lagoona said. She felt sorry for the Alpha Titan when she seen the expression on his face, which is almost surprising given that he has that tough exterior on him. She can really tell that he misses this Mosura person and cares a lot about her, like she cares about her crush Gill despite wanted to get to know him, so she wants to cheer him up. She puts her hand on his arm trying to assure him. "I'm sure you get to see her again soon, mate. I have no doubt you'll find her."
Gojira look at her for a few seconds and nodded to her. "I appreciate your faith in me, Lagoona."
"Happy to help, Gojira." Lagoona said smiling, happy to see he's not at all sad and give him faith that he'll see Mosura again. He's her friend and she wants to see him happy, even though he doesn't really show it. She notice something and ask him a question. "Where's Kong? You two mostly stay together."
"He's helping Frankie with forming a new 'Fealeading Squad' for Cleo. From what she told us, they abandoned her and Frankie wanted to help by' rebuild the squad for Cleo. Kong volunteered, but I decided not to get involved." Gojira answered.
"I heard something about that, I even saw signs that is no doubt from Cleo. I hope they can get new members." Lagoona hoped while Gojira hummed, assuming if any female Monsters have enough courage to follow a young Mummy path of 'cheerleading'.
"Hey, Lagoona!"
They turn around and saw Frankie waving while walking towards them with Kong beside her, though He looks a bit moody for some reason judging by his face expression e's having.
They got near them as Frankie asked Lagoona. "Do you like to joins the Fearleading Squad?"
"Sorry, love, but I'm on the Swim Team. I'm made Captain!" Lagoona replied, denying her offer. "Can't wait to here you cheer me on!"
She then turn to Gojira. "Well I better be get going. See you later, mates."
With that statement, she soon left the small group going to the other end of the hallway. Gojira look on for a moment before looking at Frankie and Kong, though the latter was not feeling himself which he easily notice. "What happened to you?"
"I don't want to talk about it?" Kong stated, which Gojira look at Frankie who's looking at the Primate Titan with concerned look.
Gojira realized that Kong wanted to drop the subject that's no doubt a sensitive one and asked a different question. "So how's your efforts of finding new followers."
Frankie sigh while looking down. "Not great. No one is willing to join the Fearleading Squad. I guess they're too afraid of Cleo being really to hard on them. I just wish there's at least someone willing to join. Cleo is really willing to change."
"Why not ask Draculaura. She's actually right over there." Gojira suggest while pointing his clawed finger at the small Vampire who's about to leave the locker.
Frankie was about to walk over to ask her, but someone was beating her to it. Walking up to the young Vampire was a boy with yellow-like skin with red multi-coloured, flaming style hair and orange-red eyes. He wears a black jacket with purple and white lines along with flame themes on the sleeves, grey T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes with a small flame emblem.
He walk past the female vine-like Monster and pull out a flower from her vine hair without her knowing and got near Draculaura, who look at him with annoyed look. "Change your mind about going to the dance with me yet?"
"No." Draculaura rejected him immediately.
"Now?"
"No."
"Now?"
"No."
"Now?"
"No."
"...Now?"
"Yes! Okay, fine, what evs!" Draculaura yelled out in frustration, eventually giving in to the flame boy's annoyance who his hair flamed up in excitement before walks off.
Draculaura was left on her own feeling absolutely frustrated until Frankie, Gojira and Kong walks up to her. Frankie ask a Vampire who notice them. "Did you just say yes to Heath Burns?"
"He wore me down. I'm not proud." She said with a frown expression.
"He's certainly not worthy of being your mate." Kong growled out looking at where Heath walk off. He met Heath Burns a week ago, and dare he say the Flame Monster's arrogance and attitude were not to his liking. He once tried to 'flirt' with Frankie which got her uncomfortable and earn a menacing growl from the Primate Titan. As the result Heath runs away like a coward, which he suspected.
"Who do you wanna go with?" Frankie ask, wanted to know who Draculaura want to dance with.
"I don't know." Draculaura replied honestly. "Someone... special."
As if on cue, the door opened behind her and it was none other than Clawd Wolf walking out of the classroom. The two Titans and Frankie look at Clawd as if already suspecting the answer. Clawd look at the small Monster trying to get the books from his locker that was out of his reach.
"Kind."
Clawd walked up to the small Monster as he grab the book from the locker and gave them to him. The small monster nodded with gratitude and was started to walk off...
"Athletic."
...Then the small Monster somehow slipped on the floor as the books he was holding starts flying upwards and then down. Clawd catches them with no trouble and once again gave them to a small Monster who's already got up. He took the books and walks off, leaving a smiling Werewolf behind.
"Someone like..."
"Hey how's it going?" Clawd greeted Draculaura while raising his fist.
"Hey, Clawd." Draculaura greeted back as she fist bumped Clawd in a technique fashion. He then walks off a she continues speaking. "Someone like..."
"Clawd!" Frankie exclaimed as her bolts flared up.
"Clawd Wolf?" She questioned before starts panicking. "No! Get real, he's Clawdeen's brother!"
"So?" Gojira asked with his eyebrow raised while tilting his head.
"So, I know him since before he was house broken." Draculaura excused.
"But you do have a... romantic feeling for him, do you not?" Kong wondered, since he learned a little bit of knowledge from the Library when he's searching for a ways to blend in. And as far as he's concerned, Clawd seems like a worthy mate for a young Vampire.
"I do NOT have romantic feeling for him, but that is a lot to deal with right now!" Draculaura denying there saying before look away with a dejected expression. "We're friends and that's how he'll always see me."
An idea quickly went to Frankie's mind as he bolts flared up with electricity. "Not if you joined the Fearleading Squad!"
Draculaura turn the face her with a hopeful look. "Really?"
"Totally! He'll see you as... a part of the team." Frankie said with a beaming smile but earn a frown from a Vampire.
"Okay, but Cleo..." Draculaura started.
"As far as we saw, she's willing to change her ways." Kong told her.
Draculaura smiled as she made her final decision. "Okay, I'm in!"
"Great!" Frankie cheerfully said, happy to see her joining the squad. "Now, all we need is get at least one member joining."
"Is there someone who you think is willing to join?" Gojira asked her, asking her one last question before heading off his way.
Frankie hummed in thought as she's thinking of who she can joining the Fearleading Squad, since everyone is afraid to participate. "Well... there is one Ghoul who could join the team."
Kong raise an eyebrow as he look at her. "Who?"
"HAHAHAHAHAH!"
Clawdeen was laughing hysterically while Kong and Frankie was standing in front of her. After telling her what happened to the squad and asked her to help Cleo, a Werewolf girl was started laughing uncontrollably.
"Help Cleo?" Clawdeen calmed down a bit, still chuckling after hearing an offer from Frankie. "Sorry sis, but I'm putting my paw down."
"I told you she's not gonna join." Kong told Frankie. For a past two weeks, he and Clawdeen talk to one another whenever they get the chance, and after getting to know her better, he knows that there's a high chance that she's not willing to join. As far as he know, is that Clawdeen likes what she calls 'fashion' more and always sticks up for her comrades, which he respects.
Frankie sigh sadly, though Kong picks up something off about what she's doing. "I guess it's just me, Draculaura and Cleo then."
"That would look ridiculous." She stated, talking about the clothes of what the Fearleading Squad wear.
"Wow." Frankie said 'dejectedly' as she turns around while looking 'depressed'. "My whole social life over before it even began."
Kong knows what's going on with Frankie. "Is she... pretending to be sad?" He thought as he looks at Clawdeen who looks like she's starting to flinch at what Frankie had said, feeling bad about turning down her offer. It seems that whatever Frankie was doing was working.
"Wait." Clawdeen called out. "If there's one thing a wolf is, is loyal."
"Clawdeen, your the best!" Frankie hugged her suddenly causing her to act surprise before letting go and runs off."
"Cleo's mellow now, right?" Frankie was out of reach when Clawdeen asked her so she turn to Kong instead who's standing beside her. "She is mellow, isn't she?"
"If you mean that Cleo is changing, then yes, she's changed." Kong replied as he walks off after Frankie, but stops for a few second and turn his head behind his shoulders. "...Hopefully."
He then finally left, leaving an uneasy and unconvinced Werewolf behind.
"I knew I get my team back." Cleo triumphantly said, after being informed by Frankie and Kong that the team was now reformed, She smiled victoriously even though it was them who does the work for her. "And to think I was gonna mellow out."
"Wait, what?" Frankie asked confused and surprised but Kong was mutual as he knew there's a high chance that Cleo wasn't going to change.
"Fist things first. Practice everyday. Nights, weekends, eight day a week." Cleo listed off facing Frankie. "You told him that, right?"
"Well, that never really-"
"Wonderful! We'll start at 6AM!" Cleo interrupted her before leave the Indoor Gym, leaving a very nervous Frankie and impassive Kong.
The Primate Titan turns to Frankie with a expected look. "I knew Cleo is not likely going to change her ways. You should really expect this to happen."
"Yeah, I guess your right." Frankie sighed, taking Kong's words to heart. She then look at him and smiled, trying to lighten up the mood. "But at least we rebuild the Fearleading Squad, so that's count for something?"
"Right..." Kong said looking away from her as he looking over the Indoor Gym.
Frankie smile disappeared when she sees him like this and remembered the incident before forming a squad. She still felt horrible to ask him such a question and didn't mean to hurt him. Kong is one of the nicest boys she came to know and couldn't be more happy to be friends with him, but seeing him so sad makes her chest hurt. She wanted to make up with him, trying to put all of that behind them, and then one day, hopefully, get him to properly smile.
"Kong." Frankie call out to him, looking down with her hands behind her back. He turn his head slightly but not directly at her. "I just wanted to say, I'm so sorry about asking you that question you refuse to answer. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and for that I apologies. Can you ever forgive me?"
Kong fully look at her seeing the sympathetic and apologetic expression she's given him, telling him that she's really sorry about before. He not technically mad at her, it's just being reminded of his past makes him feel really sad, not really getting a chance to see his parents and his kind again. The only family he have left was the little human girl that was with him since Skull Island named Jia, and he feared that he might never be able to see her again, losing the only family he has ever had. So for Frankie saying sorry did make him a little bit better.
"I forgive you, Frankie. You... didn't really know back then." He accept her forgiveness which earned a smile from her, happy to know he forgave her. "But please be careful of who your asking."
"I will, Kong." Frankie promised, taking Kong's words to heart once again. "Come on. Let's get to our next period, it should start at any minute."
Kong nodded and he and Frankie walked out of the Indoor Gym and head to the next period they having soon. As they kept walking, Kong was in deep thought, about the memories of his tragic past. It's not just his family that he's upset about, it was the one creature that was responsible for the death of his parents and his People, Ramarak. He knows that the Skull-faced Titan is out there and no doubt hiding and probably feeding, given that Ramarak's kind are hypervore, endlessly needing to eat to survive. That's why he's protecting his old home from them, so they never get a chance to eat anyone they see. He's not so sure about Ramarak turning into a human like being like him, given his animalistic personality and his endless thirst to kill and eat whoever he sees.
But that's not the only reason he's concerned about. His other concerns are the other abilities Ramarak has, due to his parents killer being an alpha predator of his own kind, most importantly, how they can reproduce when they in that level of stage.
(The Catacombs)
Underneath the school, somewhere in the haunted cavern-like sewers, someone was walking in the Catacombs searching something within. Walking through was an older Mummy with white bandages covering all over his body, wearing a jacket-like vest and a red tie. He also holds an object with blue and red thin circles in the small piped lines that is connected on each sides.
Mr Mummy was walking through the haunted Catacombs, finding any sort of relic that he can find so that he can mark it and head back so he can start the club that he was running. He also the teacher of Monster High, teaching Clawculus whenever he's out of his club. Now that he has a day off, he's free to explore more areas of the Catacombs and new relics to be found.
Mr Mummy was currently walking on the pathway beside the river of water, thinking that it could be a quicker way to explore new places in the haunted sewers. He continued walking down until he heard a noise coming from the water, he later stops and turn towards the source only to see bubbles coming out of the water. Feeling curious, he walk closer and knelt down, looking closer as he head drawing new and his eyes narrowed.
Then suddenly, something burst out of the water making Mr Mummy jumped in surprised, dropping his object to the ground as he took a few step back. coming out out the river was few light purple tentacles with dark orange line dots wailing around before they draw their attention to Mr Mummy with a light growl. Mr Mummy look at it for a moment before started chuckling after he calmed down.
"You surprised me, my friend." Mr Mummy said kindly as he look at the Tentacle Monster with kind eyes.
A Monster growled slightly as the tentacles comes near the Mummy Teacher, then for some reason it stops and recoils back in... fear? The Tentacle Monster wasted no time and drive back into the water, no doubt swimming away.
Mr Mummy look on, wondering why the Tentacle Monster suddenly ran away. His questions was answered when he heard a high and unusual growl coming from behind. He slowly turns his head around in fear, and then quickly look behind him.
Then in a instance, the only thing he saw was a pointed, lizard-like skull charged at him in great speed, it's head gaped wide and headed strait to his head with a high-pitched roar. He couldn't scream or yell as his vision suddenly went black, as the blood from Mr Mummy was splattered on the object that he was holding.
A.N: Chapter done. Now that the Fearleading Squad is reformed, how will they going meet Cleo's standards of perfection, not to mention something very sinister crawling through the Catacombs.
I want to say big thanks and shout out to AUNBRIE for telling me of what Godzilla can do in the MonsterVerse, about how he can feel the natual world around him from Godzilla: Dominion. I haven't read it just yet, but I will be getting it and Kingdom Kong (Yes, I haven't read that as well, scold me if you want.) as soon as I can get them.
One review asked that If Rodan will have his own set of pairing, the answer is yes but it will possibly be shorter than Godzilla and Kong's pairing. I'll reveal them when Rodan makes his appearance.
