4. A New Unusual Start

And now, since Mario altered Desti's death, the present SMG4 universe changed a lot.

In the present, the gang were preparing to have lunch. 'Mario!' Shouted Luigi. 'It's lunchtime!' However, there was only silence. 'There's spaghetti!' The green lad shouted again, but still there was only silence. Luigi remembered that Mario was gone and sighed. He then decided to find SMG4 and the others at the dining room.

'Hey there. Still depressed over Mario being gone?' Asked SMG4, upon seeing Luigi's sad face. 'Yep,' answered Luigi, sadly. 'Don't be that blue, Green Pickle. Maybe some drawing can cheer you up!' Axol tried to cheer Luigi up. 'Thanks, but I don't think I need it now,' replied Luigi. 'By the way, can you tell Meggy and Desti to come?' Asked Tari. '…Sure.' The green lad replied.

When Luigi has found Meggy at the Castle Courtyard, she was in her Inkling form, chatting happily with Desti. 'Hey guys, it's lunchtime,' said Luigi. 'Okay! Meggy, go on ahead first. I need to talk to Luigi about something,' answered Desti.

'Luigi,' continued Desti, 'Your bro told me to keep this a secret, but I have to tell you….'
