Saturday morning was came of the city of Royal Woods like a warm blanket. The first day to the weekend, which held many events and excitement for there days without school. Playing with friends, hanging out with family, and relaxing, without a care in the world. That's how most people wished to spend their Saturday. However, while one certain grayed hair teen was trying to do that last activity listed, he wasn't succeeding.

It was currently 7:10 a.m. as David laid in his bed. The room he has claimed as his own was a small storage like room in the attic, which was a bit dusty and mess. David would complain, but as he saw, this was the only other available room in the house, and Mark apologized for this inconvenience. While this room was more isolated from the rest house, which is what he'd prefer, the floor was very thin, always allowing noises from down below him, which is what was going on right now. The screaming and laughter coming from the younger kids, the loud talking coming from the older teens and parents. it caused much annoyance to the lazy mind of David. Despite his love for boxing and drumming, normally, he'd spend his weekends sleeping the day away, like a cat. However, as his mom called him down for breakfast, he realized that his plans for the day were ruined.

As he dressed himself in considerable nicer clothing then he intended, a white bottom up with a read sweater vest over, and made his way to the dining table. A mount of food was made for the family, due to the extra help from Aiko, and a basic free for all for the people at the table. Luckily for David, he wasn't pig during breakfasts, so he settled on a few pieces of bacon and toast. The younger kids were seen with foods such as, waffles, pancakes, and french toast, the 2 teens had a plate of scrambled eggs, while they texted on their phones, and the parents had some sort of fruit bowls with a cup of coffee. The group swapped conversations between what they had planned for the day and how school was going so far. "I had there was a fight at after school Friday.", one of the younger child said, which soon became the topic of discussion. As they got into deeper detail, it was soon revealed to David they were talking about the incident involving Louie. How they were able to get this information, especially how Louie "ran like a coward" was beyond David's mind. To his decision, he chose not to intervene, mostly keeping quiet, after all, he was too busy think about Diana's offer.

Being in a band never really occurred to him before. While he did like playing drums, he never thought about putting it towards an actual purpose. If anything, he only did it for the reason he does boxing, to vent his frustration. However, this was different, this could be something, even if hope for it was small. He'd just have to wait for the time being. Finishing his meal, he made his way out of the dining hall.

"Hey, Dave!", a voice shouted, pulling on David's arm. As he drove his attention to the voice, he saw it was one of the younger kids, the girl, who's name he came to learn was Susan. He instantly replied, "It's David. And what do you want?", clearly not very fond of the shorten version of his name. "Will you play with us?", she asked, puppies eyed and the 2 younger boys joining in. "Yea, come on. We need someone to be the dragon in our knight story and your mom said you aren't busy today!", one of the boys said. "Wh-what about your-", he said as he was about to point out his their actually siblings, before noticing that the older siblings already went to their rooms. With a deep sigh, David tried his best to come up with an excuse to avoid such an activity, when an idea came to mind. "I'm actually busy today, I'm meeting up with a friend today.", David stated, much to the younger kids dismay. Aiko was in the kitchen when she heard her only son spoke those words and when she did, she instantly went to him. "Really? Who?", she asked in excitement. "Just some guy from school. He asked me if I had plans and told him no, so he invited me over for today.", David said. "But who son?", Mark soon asked, as he entered the room to see what the commotion was about. "Lincoln loud.", David said as he put on his shoes. When Mark gave a little smile towards him, Aiko was ecstatic, but kept it more to herself. "Well, we'll go by the house later to check on you. Don't wanna have you two boys off for too long.", Mark stated with a chuckle. However, David's blood ran cold, as he wasn't really intending to go hang out with anyone. He was more going to try to find a spot somewhere in town to sleep, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. With all that said, David begrudgingly walked out of the house, making his way to Lincoln's. "You seem super happy A! What's up?" Mark's wife, Marry, asked Aiko happily. "Oh, nothing really. It just..", she calmed down a bit before explaining. "Davidson never really made had a lot of friends back home.", Aiko stated. "Does he get lonely easily?", Susan asked, concerned. "Sometimes. I was actually hoping that moving would help him socially. Seems like it is.", Aiko stated smile.

Lincoln sat on the couch, bored out of his mind. Lily was also on the couch, but she was to focused on watching her shows to really bother Lincoln. Most of the sisters were home, doing there only little activities, whether that's a tea party, a science experiment, or writing new comedy material. All except Luna, who was out practicing with her band.

Lincoln didn't have much to do for the day as his friends were busy, as well as the before mentioned sisters. Lincoln, to put simple, felt like dead weight and wanted nothing more then to just lay on the couch all day. "HEADS UP, LINC!", a voice cried out but it was too late. A practice dummy landed directly on top of Lincoln, causing him to collapse onto the ground. "Ow! Lynn! What was that for?", Lincoln asked, trying to get his bearings straight. "Sorry Linc, I didn't know my own strength and ended up throwing my sparing partner.", Lynn said, laughing. Lincoln, however, found this quite annoying. Late, that's how he's felt towards whenever his sisters provoked him, accidentally or not. Lincoln through the dummy off of him and went back to his spot on the couch, next to the oblivious Lily. Lynn was going to ask what his deal was before noticing a slight bruise on his cheek she only noticed now. The sisters didn't get to converse with the boy yesterday due to him coming home a bit later then usually, so this was the first time she was around him since Thursday. "Hey, what happened? I didn't throw it that hard at you, did I?", Lynn asked concerned, pointing to his cheek. "Um, it's nothing. I just slipped and-". "Lincoln!", Lynn said aggressively, knowing he was lying. Lincoln decided to come clean, but only if she kept it between him and her, which she agreed on. "Well, I just got into a scuffle with one but-". "Really!? Who!?", Lynn interjected. "No one in particular. And keep your voice down.", Lincoln said. "Anyways, but it eventually got sort out. That's all I want to go into about it.", he stated. Lynn, a bit disappointed, chose not to push anymore on the topic, at least for now. Just then, the bell for the front door rang. "Well, next time you need backup, you know who to call.", Lynn said, confidently, as she went to answer the front door.

"Hell-", Lynn began, but was quickly silenced st the sight before her. A tall, considerable attractive, muscular, well dressed, grayed haired teen stood before herself, hands in pocket. "Hi, I'm looking for Lincoln Loud. Is he here?", the teen asked, but the question went into one ear and out the other for Lynn. While the unique hair was a bit off putting, she was too focused on how...good looking he was. It took so much control over her, a visible red blush appeared on her face, while only being able to muster an audible "Bah, Bah, Bah, Bah.". The teen stepped back a bit, uncomfortable with how this person was acting. "Uhhh...excuse me?", he asked, but got the same response. Lincoln, a bit curious at who was at the door, soon came to Lynn's side, noticing David standing in his front porch and Lynn in a trance. Carefully, he push Lynn back slightly, stepped outside, and closed the front door. Allowing the pair of boys to speak in private. "Hey, glad you were able to hang out!", Lincoln said, happily. "Well, I had nothing better to do. Plus, my mom didn't care, so it all worked out. Um, was that your sister?", David asked, concerned. "Yup, Lynn Loud. Sorry if she acted weird toward you. They get like that whenever I have certain friends over.", Lincoln explained, having flashbacks when he had a certain tutor over. "Yeah, well, want to walk about?". "Yeah, sure.", Lincoln accepted, happy to be out of the house, as they began their walk.

"But, man. I'm lucky my mom didn't ground me for how late I was. She only gave me lecture. What about you?", Lincoln asked. "Eh, my parents just told me to be careful next.". "What about Diana though?", Lincoln questioned again. "In all the time I've been in this town, I've never met a character like her. Funny and carefree, yet kind and gentle. Then again, I never thought I'd see anyone else here with hair similar to mine.", Lincoln chuckled. "Yea, well, I guess anything's possible.", David shrugged. "Oh, and thanks again for the help yesterday. I really appreciated it.", Lincoln continued. "Are you trained in some sort of self defense technique or something?". "Just boxing. I've been boxing since I was little. It comes in handy when you need to deal with a few pricks here and there.". "Wow, that's pretty cool. You really put Chuck in his place.", Lincoln said, happily. "So, that's that dude's name? Chuck.". "Yea, the local elementary bully. He was originally a friend of another bully, Chandler, until he ended up moving away. Now, he has sorta taken his place ever since.", Lincoln explained. As they continued walking, they talked about what the town was like, specifically from Lincoln's prospective, until they came across a certain familiar house, Louie's house.

They didn't even realize they were walking in that direction, until they stood right outside the kid's house. "You think he's home?", Lincoln questioned. David didn't answer at first, he was too focused on what he could hear from coming from the house. A soft melodic guitar rift drifting through the air, pleasing the ears of the 2 teens. "Only one way to find out.", David finally said, as he told his first steps towards the house. However, as soon as they began coming closer, the music cut off abruptly, much to the boys confusion, as they knocked on the door.

"Nothing much, just laying in my room.", Louie answered to his mom and uncles. He was currently on a video call with his family, which included Scrooge, Della, Donald, his brother's, and even Webby, though she's no related to them in any real way. They always considered her part of the group nonetheless. As he found out, his siblings (and Webby), were spread throughout the U.S., Dewy being the farthest away, staying somewhere in Washington, and Huey being being somewhere in Montana. Webby was actually the only one closest to home, as she was just staying with her grandmother on the east coast, but still relatively away from New York.

"Well, it's great to hear from you guys. We miss you so much!", Della exclaimed to everyone. Huey and Webby gave a slight smile to her, while Dewy only nodded, not really accepting of the whole situation. Louie did his best to seem as 'normal' as possible, but the clear dread of being so far apart from each other was very apparent, even if it was through video call. "Well, we ought a get going now. We have a bit of work for the day.", Scrooge stated. Dewy was the first to leave, without saying goodbye, Huey gave a wave, and the adults blew kisses and waves before leaving themselves. Louie was about to end the call himself, until he noticed that he was alone with Webby in the call. Normally, she'd be one of the first ones to leave like Dewy did today, however, today she was too deep in her own thoughts to notice. "Hey, Webs?", Louie asked, taking the chance to talk to her one on one. She looked up, making slight eye contact with him. "Hey.", she replied softly.

"Sooo, how have you been?", Louie asked, trying to start up a conversations. The down look on her face however, already told him how she was. "Yea, I know how you feel.", he said, now on a mission to make her feel better. "Hey, you wanna know something crazy though?", Louie asked, Webby perked up a tiny bit, interested. "Well, while I did tell the others that my week was alright, I'll let you in on a little bit of a secret. Between you and me, got it?", Webby shook her head violently, always loving secrets. "Well, yesterday, I got into a bit of a fight.", Louie stated, much to Webby's horror. "Your okay though, right!?", she asked worrying, and knowing that Louie wasn't the best in combat. "Psshhh. It was a cake walk. I was like, HIYA!", he did a punching motion all dramatically, trying to entertain the girl. "And a one these! KITA!", kicking his leg in the air, causing Webby to chuckle a bit. "And finished the threat off with a, KA-BOOSH!", he said throwing his fist in the air, causing him to fall backwards and making Webby burst out in laughter. Though Louie didn't mean to go so over the top, he was glad to have lifted her spirits up a bit. Once the laughter died out between the 2, Louie sitting back up in his chair. "But seriously, are you alright?", Webby asked again, sweetly, making Louie's heart melt a tiny bit. "Y-yeah, I'm alright. Nothing like a kick in the gut to end the day.", Louie joked, Webby clearly not amused. "It was nothing really though, just some jerk picking on a kid at my school-". "A BULLY! WHO, I'LL TRACK THEM DOWN AND-", Webby interjected furiously before Louie interjecting back. "There's no need for that. It's all taken care of now. He shouldn't be messing with anyone for a while, after what I put him through.", Louie stated, smiling. "That was really brave of you Louie. Standing up for someone else.", Webby stated, causing Louie to blush. "I miss you. A lot.", Louie, randomly, spoke without thinking causing him to panic. "I miss you. A lot. Too", Webby responded, slightly blush. If only they were next to each, in one another's grasp and embrace. Louie never thought he'd feel this way towards someone, but her he is now. Butterflies in the his stomach, in front of, in his official opinion, the prettiest girl he's ever met. What the feeling was however, Louie wasn't completely sure on. He gradually leaned closer to his computer screen, forgetting that this exchange was through a call. However, it seemed Webby also had the same idea as him, getting closer and closer to her screen. Even if they weren't physically near each other, it didn't stop them from trying to give each other a kiss through the computer, even if it was awkward, weird, and wince worthy seeing it on the outside. "LOUIE!", a male voice called out to him, causing both him and Webby to fall over in shock. "You have company!", the male, which was Mr. Gilmore's voice call from downstairs. "Uh, yea! One second!", Louie said, before looking back to Webby. "W-well, I'll talk to next ti-". "Actually Webs, you think we could talking again? Tonight? Around 7?", Louie asked quickly. Webby was a bit surprised by this, but pleased that Louie wanted to talk to her more. "Of course!", she said happily. Louie sighed, relieved that she accepted, and said his goodbyes to her. He took a minute to let his heart beat to slow down and made his way down stairs, wondering what company was here for him.

"Hey, Louie.", another voice called out, which was Lincoln's, who was standing beside David and the Gilmores. Louie was a bit confused by this until Mr. Gilmore spoke again. "These guys showed up and said they're friends of your?". "Uh, yea. I met them yesterday.", Louie said, unsure on what to say in the moment. He did his best to keep his little scuffle away from his temporary guardians. "I got lost yesterday coming back home and they helped me find my way back. They're cool dudes.", Louie said. The couple, while have there only little suspicions on the truth of this, decided from the get go to be a bit lenient with him, considering that as long he as he stays within the neighborhood, he could go out. Besides, Lincoln and David seemed like fine boys, if not a bit strange. After laying down the ground rules, like to be home around 5 for dinner, Louie went on his way with the the boys to wherever they'd end up next.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

"So why exactly were you in a fight with Chuck?", Lincoln asked Louie once they, and David were seated on one of the many park equipment. After they all walked together for a couple blocks or so, chatting about how they're weekends were so far, and what their plans for tomorrow were. That is, until they came across a local park to rest at. At they all lazily sat about.

This question came up seemingly out of nowhere, causing Louie to look at him confused. "Um, nothing much. Why do you ask?". "I don't know, Chuck's notorious for being a huge jerk, but he never specifically fights anyone with a reason behind it.", Lincoln explained. "Who cares? All that matters now is that prick is dealt with and if wants a really fight, he now knows were to look.", David said, getting more pissed with the mere mention of the bullies name. "I guess. But anyways, you said you were from New York, right Louie?", Lincoln asked, getting a nod from in response. "What's it like there? Is it nice?", Lincoln asked curiously. "I mean, the city itself was always...busy, to put it nice.", Louie began. "I lived with my uncle Donald for a time on his fishing boat. While we were considered in the 'Poverty' area in the city, we lived alright lives, or as alright as things can be eating fish and eggs", Louie said, remedying on the meals that would haunt his dreams. "But all that change when we moved into our uncle Scrooge. He's one of the richest people in New York-", "AHHA, I knew I recognized that name somewhere!," David pointed out. "What's a trillionaire's grandson doing in such a small town like this one?", he instantly began questioning. Louie, not really wanting to get into the details of his situation, simply said "Just some family business stuff.". This did little to satisfy David's and Lincoln's, who was now also asking questions, curiosity, but eventually Louie told them that it was just too personal to talk about.

"Well, how do you like it here?", Lincoln asked, wanting to switch topics. "Eh, it's alright here. I just really miss my family back home. My mom, my brothers, my best friend.", Louie said, blush a bit thinking about Webby. "Well, from the sound of it, your only staying here for a bit.", David pointed out. "Might as well take advantage of the freedom now, and besides, at least you don't have live here forever.". "Hey! I'll have you know that this is a fantastic town. There arcades, comic book stores, gas stations-", Lincoln quickly began listing. "That's not the point, Lincoln.", David said, slapping his forehead.

"Well, this is quite the coincident.", a voice spoke from the behind of the boys. Upon turning around, they were meet with a familiar lady, the one that helped them out yesterday, Diana. However, the difference of her appearance today is the fact that she's carrying an acoustic guitar on her back. "But I must say, it's quite nice to see you all again.", she stated. The boys weren't exactly expecting to see her again, but didn't mind her presence. "So what are you fine boys doing today?". "Not much, just relaxing and chit chatting, what about you?", Lincoln replied. "Oh, nothing much. Just a bit of street performing.". "With that guitar I assume?", David questioned, pointing towards it. "Yup. It hasn't really been a busy day, but I don't really mind. Hey, is it fine if I sit among-st you guys.". There was a bit of hesitation on David's part, but in the end, everyone agreed that it was fine. Diana instantly began to fiddle a bit with her guitar, gathering interest from Louie, while the others talked among themselves. "You play guitar at all?", Diana asked Louie, as she noticing that he was staring at her playing. "Oh, um. A little, actually.", Louie said, sheepishly. He's never really told anyone about his guitar playing before. Diana instantly stopped and began to hand the guitar to Louie, much to his, along with Lincoln's and David's surprise. "Go on then. I'd like to hear you play.", Diana stated. With guitar in hand, Louie began to play somewhat of a little melodic chord, not too dissimilar to the sounds that Lincoln and David heard from his house, nervously. While hitting a few wrong notes, he continued playing for a few more minutes, before ending. "That was pretty decent.", Diana started. "A bit more practice and you'd be a pro in no time." Louie nodded, a bit uncomfortable, but not really too bother by this group of people listening to his playing. "Would you like lesson?", Diana asked, in a bit of hope. Louie was shocked this offer and wasn't sure how to make of this. He never had a tutor for anything really, let alone for playing guitar. The closest he ever got was Uncle Donald teaching him a few songs. It was a tempting offer, after all it be a good way to past his time here. "I mean, I would, but I don't exactly have any money to pay for it.". "That's alright. You won't have to pay me a thing.". Again, Louie was a bit taken back by this and knew there would be a catch. He wouldn't be able to know what it was however, if he didn't accept. "Sure then.", Louie accepted, unsure of this generosity. The group of 4 talked there for a time, before Louie started heading his way home, say that he had to come back for dinner. A minute passed with nothing happening as he walked.

"Louie! Can I talk to you for a second?", Diana quickly said as she soon caught up to the green hoodie kid. "There is one condition I ask from you in return." Louie knew it, there was always a catch. Louie was normally one to be cautious of making deals (for the most part), but thought that he really didn't care too much to look into such things right now. He sighed and asked "What would that be?". "I would like for you to join my band.". Louie was a bit stunned at what the demands were, not really except a request like this. "Um, your band? You have a band?", Louie asked. "Well, I'm in the midst of creating one. Currently, I already have one member and in the progress of getting another one, besides you. But I have a lot of it planned out and I'd like for you to play the main guitar." Louie was about to voice his concerns, Diana continued. "And don't worry about not being great at first. That's why I offered you lessons. Plus, it'd be a great way to put your skills to work.". Louie instantly tried to convince her that he was fine not have lessons, until Diana mentioned how she helped him out yesterday. She didn't like it, but she was more then willing to guilt trip his hopefully soon to be band members into joining. After a minute talking back and forth, until Louie gave back into the deal. Diana soon gave him his number and told him that they'd be in contact. Louie just wanted to go back to his room now, yearning to talk to Webby again.

Luna jammed her heart out in the garage, along side her band mates, Royal Theory. However, Sam was currently sitting out, while Lincoln substituted her spot as bassist. After get home, he found out that his parents have gone out on for a dinner date and Luna was left in charge. After a bit of practicing, Sam wanted to take a break, but the rest of the band wanted to continue play. That's were Lincoln came into play, whether he liked it or not. While he was able to kinda keep up to the other band members paste, he wasn't really having a good time playing the bass so much. However, his sister was in charge, whether he liked it or not.

"Alright Linc, I'm ready to come back in. Thanks for the help.", Sam said, before taking the bass from his hands, which were extremely sore from the playing. Lincoln was ready for bed. While today wasn't anything terrible, but the only real good thing that happened was him hanging out with his somewhat new friend group. The rest of the day was spent doing sisters request and chores, which he was not expecting on a Saturday. As he began to walk out of the garage, he took a deep breath and soaked in the cool air that surrounded him, as rock music played behind him. He made his way towards the front door, intending to go to bed, before he heard a slight rustle in the bushes by the front porch. It's actually surprising that he could her such noise, considering the loud music in the background. Lincoln first considered it nothing more then a wild animal, until he heard a voice calling out to him. He couldn't exactly tell which it was, but he assumed it was either Lana or Lucy. He made his way towards the voice, getting grabbed and tossed over the railing. He was about to wail at the sister who did such a thing, before realizing it was a slightly dirty Diana, much to his shock.

"Was that you planning the bass early? Before that blonde girl was playing?", Diana asked in excitement. "Were you spying on me?", Lincoln asked, concerned. Diana merely brushed this off this question and continued on pestering him until he admitted to such claims. "Yea! I knew it!", she exclaimed. "Look, I know your a busy guy, but I'm making a band and you'd be perfect for it. I can even teach you new techniques on how to play-". "Ok, hold on a second. You want me to join your band? What if I'm not interested?", Lincoln said. Diana quickly gave some puppy dog eyes, making Lincoln come to her demands. "Thank you! You have no idea what this means to me!", Diana began hugging Lincoln aggressively, saying to meet him in front of the high school on Monday. Lincoln sighed as she left, asking himself 'Why me?'.
