In A World Of My Own – Chapter 4 – The Sword Of Wonderland
Friday 30th April 2021 – (Wonderland Kingdom) – 9am Morning time
Queen Quinn was up all early hours of the morning. Now that Kurt was here they needed to start fighting back against the evil Queen Rachel and her hutch man Finn ; It was all she could think about , after all she needed to keep the good people of Wonderland safe. But first Kurt would need to find the sword of wonderland, and bring it back to the kingdom for training.
She began to make breakfast to take of her mind of her worries ; every type of food she could think about, from pancakes to a full English breakfast. That was when Dave Hatter woke up.
"Is he awake yet?" Queen Quinn's first question to him was as he entered the kingdom dinner hall.
"Who?" Dave asked confused rubbing his tired eyes.
"Who on earth do you think Hatter!" she yelled out giving him a grumpy look "Kurt!"
"Oh" Dave smiled thinking of Kurt. His brown hair, his perfect cheek bones, his cute smile. "I'm not sure, I think he might be still sleeping"
"Right….." Quinn said sighting "Well can you please get him up nicely, tell him that breakfast is ready?" she asked.
"Of course" he smiled "May I ask what your plan with him is today?"
She smiled at him. "I will tell you when Kurt arrives"
Dave smiled nodding and walked back up the stairs to Kurt's room. When he entered he noticed that Kurt was sleeping. He looked so cute and peaceful Dave thought to himself; like a glowing angel that had fallen down from heaven above.
Kurt started to stir, gently waking up slowly as the sunlight from one of the kingdom windows hit his face. Then he looked around to blush a bright shed of red as he noticed Dave smiling down at him not far from the beside.
He wondered how long the other man had been there looking at him. He didn't mind because Dave was very handsome to him. His brown eyes where shiny and inviting, and his smile was small but sweet, and he only ever given that smile to him since he had came here.
Kurt smiled back at him "Are you stalking me?"
Dave blushed worried "No….No. I was set her by the Queen to bring you to breakfast" he smiled.
Kurt giggled "Okay"
With that he slowly made his way out of the bed making his hair look okay and himself presentable. He didn't need to change clothes because he slept in them, yet to revise new clothes to change into.
He and Dave Hatter then walked back downstairs into the dinner hall sitting on the chairs next to one another.
Queen Quinn smiled sitting in her throne "How did you sleep Kurt?" she smiled poring him some orange juice and handing him a breakfast plate.
Kurt took the plate and the juice smiling gratefully at her "Good thank you. The beds here are very comfily"
"Good" she smiled again drinking some juice "We have some work for you to do today before we start training" she explained "Are you up for it? She asked"
Kurt smiled and gulped at the same time "I am. Just a little scared but I will try what you need me to"
Quinn took his hand "Thank you, this means a lot to me and the kingdom"
Kurt smiled back again letting go of her hand to eat some food "So what is the plan for today?"
"Get the sword of Wonderland" She explained. "My father hit in somewhere in the deep dark woods of Wonderland, only the ones who can use it can move it from it's rightful place"
"Okay" Kurt said. "Will I have a team?"
"Yes" Quinn said clapping her hands together "You will be set up with the boyfriend couple of wonderland, the Twiddles"
"Oh god really…." Dave asked pulling a concerned face "The Twiddles? As in Sebastian Twiddle Dee and Blaine Twiddle Dumb?"
Kurt had to hold in his laugh when he found out that this Blaine person was pet named by his boyfriend as Twiddle dumb.
"Yes, why?" she asked Dave.
"Because Sebastian calls Blaine, Twiddle Dum for a reason" he laughed. "And no offence to him as nice as he is we all know he lives up to his name"
Kurt couldn't help but laugh at this point.
"He will be fine with them" Quinn replied looking at Dave "They are trustworthy and they will help him bring the sword back"
"Can't I just go with him?" Dave asked looking at Kurt.
"Yes….." Kurt replied blushing "Can't I just go with Dave?"
"I'm afraid not" she said back "The Twiddles have already been asked, and Dave is needed at the kingdom with me to start training the army to help you"
Kurt sighed "Okay I understand"
Just then there was a loud knock at the kingdom door.
"I told them just to come right into the hall" Quinn laughed.
Meanwhile outside the kingdom gate…..
Sebastian Dee slapped him head gently in a look of hopelessness "Oh my sweet dear darling boyfriend, what on earth are you doing?"
Blaine Dum looked at him smiling with a big grin on his face "Knocking on the kingdom door like you said too"
Sebastian laughed hard "No baby, no. I said don't knock of the kingdom door, we can go straight inside"
"Oh…" Blaine replied looking at him feeling silly looking down at the floor.
Sebastian then laughed harder and hugged him from behind placing a kiss on his cheek "It's okay, I love you"
With that Blaine smiled and the two walked into the kingdom hall. Kurt first impression of them was not great. They were both wearing bright red dungarees over a white t-shirt, with a bright yellow bow tie to match.
They both looked like they had not trained much of their lives, unlike Dave who had some sort of muscles to protect him with, but maybe he was just being too judgemental.
"Hello Twiddles" Queen Quinn smiled "Are you aware of your mission?" she asked.
"We are" Sebastian smiled looking at Kurt "It's nice to finally meet you Kurt"
Kurt smiled back "likewise"
Blaine smiles at Kurt too.
"We should make a move" Sebastian said smiling.
"Okay" Kurt replied putting on his jacket.
Just then he felt a gentle kiss planted on his cheek. He turned around to blush to see that the kiss had come from Dave.
"Be safe out there" he added blushing hard himself looking deep into Kurt big blue eyes.
Kurt smiled and kissed his lips gently "I will, and thank you"
With that Kurt, Sebastian and Blaine all set off into Wonderland woods, looking for the sword that would help to save them all.
They were there for hours searching high and low, up and down, left and right.
When they left the kingdom is was 9:30am and now it was 10pm at night.
"That's so shiny" Blaine smiled walking toward something.
Sebastian smiled following him "Blaine that's it! That's the sword! "he smiled happily running towards it pulling Kurt along with him.
Kurt smiled looking at it "It's beaufiual"
Blaine smiled at him "Pull it out of the stone"
Kurt smiled and used all his strength pulling the heavy sword out of the stone.
Blaine smiled again "Great now let's get you back to –"
But before he could carry on a red arrow come shooting through the air just missing Kurt's head landing into a tree.
Kurt and Blaine both looked up to see a tall man dressed in black and red armour holding Sebastian tightly captive.
"Sebastian!" Blaine yelled running towards him.
"Drop the sword and I will let you friend go" Finn said smirking at Kurt.
"NO BLAINE STOP , RUN, JUST RUN WITH KURT!" Sebastian yelled "WONDERLAND NEEDS THE SWORD!"
"But what about you?" Kurt asked getting shot in the shoulder by Finn with a arrow.
"BLAINE PLEASE GET HIM TO SAFETY RUNNN!" he yelled.
With that Blaine tears up and runs back to the kingdom with Kurt as quick as possible.
When they arrive back Blaine runs upstairs crying hard shaking.
Dave runs to Kurt seeing the arrow in his arm "Omg what happened?!" he asked in worry.
Kurt looked at him in sadness "We have the sword but….They have Sebastian"
Queen Quinn looks at him in shock.
One way or another they would great Sebastian back.
