~Earth, Scotland, Hogwarts~ Schwi POV
After the white light flew into me, and everything went black, my software started to react with the light. Though I had never seen it before, my soul somehow recognised the light as something more, something right, something that belongs with it. And it spoke to my soul.
{Hello Mistress. It has been so long since we last saw you}
It said. I was surprised to hear the voice-at least I think it is a voice. I know what it said, but heard nothing, no sound, male of female. It was disorienting but somehow, I was put at ease with the unspoken but heard words.
{Mistress, we have been waiting for you since we sent you to another world, to the body of Üc207Pr4f57t9}
"You sent me to that dimension? Than who was I before hand." I asked worried that my whole life was a lie. But instead of answering me, my vision became glazed as memory's, around three years long, became unlocked in my mind. To realise my last memory, before entering my new Ex-Machina body was of me being beaten to death by an obese man with anger issues wasn't pleasant. But despite my unpleasant memories I learned that I was Amaris Potter, the true Child-Who-Lived, that the old man-Albus Dumbledore caused me to be abused, neglected and unable to use my magic.
That was what the light was, my magic re-entering my body. And from my early memories, I learned that magic cannot work with technology so no wonder I became unconscious, my body and magic are fighting for control. Both want me alive, but they cannot live with each other. So they comprised. My magic inter-grated itself with my technology, upgrading and rewiring every weapon and program, improving everything to it's best level. I wouldn't be able to use magic but my body is now fully capable to absorb magic. Where I had been receiving a minuscule amount of lag in a multitude of programs, now I receive none.
But before I could wake up, six people appeared before me. There were three females and three males. The first female had blood-red straight hair and striking emerald eyes above a sea of freckles and a small pink mouth. She wore black robes with an silver trim and the symbol of a quadruped animal with wings holding a sword in one hand and a stick in the other. Under the animal were the words Eskhatos ekhthros katargeitai o thanatos AN.
The next woman had blonde curly hair with sparking blue eyes above red plump lips. She wore a sturdy brown robes over her plump body with a yellow trim and a white apron. The apron had the words Latrévo ton mágeira AN. On her robe, and just barely see, was a symbol of an quadruped animal with black and white stripes.
The final female had black wavy hair with royal blue eyes over a calm smile. She wore light blue robes with a black trim and a bag overloaded with books and parchment. She had a crest of a black bird on a dark blue shield upon her breast. Under the crest were the symbols i gnósi evnoeí tous tolmitoús AN.
The first man has brown messy hair over mischievous brown eye slightly dimmed by circular wire framed glasses and a playful smile. He had red robes with a golden trim and the same crest of the first female. However on his left breast was a brown quadruped with a black large quadruped, a small brown quadruped with a pale tail and a black bipedal animal that looked sickly.
The second male has bright red hair above fierce blue eyes and golden robes. He has the crest of a quadruped animal like the first female's and male's crest but without the wings. Under the crest was the symbols ton tolmiró perípato prin apó tin evdomáda AN.
The final male had no hair on his head but a large white wispy beard that reached the bottom of his black robes that held an strange no limbed creature motif. His eyes were a sharp green that could pierce a soul. On his robes there was no crest but the words to poniró fídi exapatá to liontári AN.
The first female and male immediately glomped me before crying and saying how sorry they were for leaving me and my brother without our parents. As I didn't understand what they were talking about, I quickly pushed both of them away before materialising a straight bladed katana. Before I could do anything else, the six figures looked at each other, nodded and flew into me. What that achieved was a good deal of memories, not my own appearing, some knowledge about themselves and the local area, and a message from each of them with a gift as well.
The females named Lily Potter, Helga Hufflepuff and Rowena Ravenclaw left me respectively all the manga and anime she watch, the recipes and the knowledge of beasts she met, and the language of ancient runes. The males named James Potter, Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin respectively left me a full map of Hogwarts, the school I am apparently in, how to decode and rewire a spell, and how to speak almost every language. I'm sure if it wasn't for the boost my processors acquired I would of malfunctioned and become brain dead. For a being that prides ourselves on learning about the world, accomplishing any given task and our twelfth level intellect, being brain dead is pure horror.
Whilst these powers are good I'll need to watch the memories to understand them. The first one was of the two who hugged me earlier. It said, "You probably do not know who we are so let us tell you. I am Lily Potter, your mother, and right next to me is James Potter, your father. My gift to you is my manga and anime collection. From what your magic has told us, you can replicate any ability you are hit with or see, if you know the theory behind the ability. I hope my manga and anime will help you surprise your enemies. Your father has left you a map, something that may help you know but will be pointless in the future." This, for some reason brought a tear to my eye.
The second memory had the other four within. Helga was the only one talking in the memory. "Hello Amarisor Schwi, whichever you prefer, I am Helga Hufflepuff and this is Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor, and Rowena Ravenclaw, and we are the founders of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Usually we don't interact with people but we have never met an Android or robot before. We have also never met someone who has been mistreated by an headmaster before. So we decided to help you and your brother. We have given your brother the parseltongue ability asaccess to the sword of Gryffindor. We have decided to give yourecipes to cook for your husband, Knowledge of the beasts we have encountered, all runic alphabets from our time, the ability ofunderstand and change any spell mid flight, and the knowledge of almost all languages from our time. We hope you use these gifts well."
After viewing that last memory, a white flash appeared once more and I was back in the infirmary. But before I could speak I was glomped by Corone who began speaking with such speed even my enhanced processors couldn't make heads or tails of her gibberish.
This was before she took a deep breath and said, "I'm so glad your ok Schwi, Riku hasn't woken up yet but he has regained his lost limbs and isn't covered by the black ash anymore. I've been waiting for one of you to wake. Apparently it has been a week since we have arrived, I woke up on the third day, and the old man has been waiting for you. I don't know why but I get a funny feeling around the man. It's as if he is reading my mind."
I responded, "I'm up now and according to my scanners Riku is being kept asleep but his body shows no signs of pain. Hmmm... I'll send a small shock to wake him up." I got out of my bed, absentmindedly noticing I was wearing nothing and my cybernetics were showing, before putting my hand on Riku's chest and sending a small burst of electricity into his system. The mysterious force, human magic my new memory said, shattered instantly before my husband woke up, looking around and hugging me. I didn't mind as I enjoyed the comfort.
He looked around again before asking, "Where are we?" This doesn't look like anything on Disboard from what I have seen."
"This is Hogwarts husband. It is a school that teaches humans capable of utilising the magical forces that surround this world in ley lines. Apparently other races like Elves existed but were ether hunted to extinction or hid to escape extinction. Humans are still the weakest race like on Disboard. And we are in another dimensional plane." I answered in my monotonous voice. Riku flinched knowing I was still angry at him trying to intervene with my fight against the Flügel which almost ended with his death and my deletion. From the corner of my eye I saw Corone flinch as well. Nether of them should of been there but humans curiosity outweighed survival instincts, somehow. There is still so many new and old things to be learned about the human heart, like how two humans would run INTO a heavens smite from said Flügel. No logic whatsoever.
Just as Riku was going to answer, his mouth was moving so it was at the literal second, the old man, Albus Dumbledore walked through the doors of the hospital wing his eyes sparkling like a malfunctioning machine. His eyes immediately zeroed in on me and seemed to gain an maniacal glee before it was hidden. He probably hoped I didn't notice that but I did. Unfortunately, as we are from another world, I had to act like an idiot to the human magical arts but hopefully I could pass off being knowledgeable of animals because we have similar equivalents in our world.
But before any of us could speak he opened his mouth, "Hello, I'm Albus Dumbledore the headmaster of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Now who are your companions Miss Potter?"
As I have never gone by Potter, despite knowing that is my name I couldn't let him know, I answered with, "Miss Potter? None of us are Potters. We are all Dola. I am Schwi Dola, this is my husband Riku Dola and his sister Corone Dola." Dumbledore just went pale at hearing our name for some reason. The memories of the founders and my parents don't mention anything about the Dola family so I'll have to do some research to learn about Dumbledore's sudden albino-ness.
Just as Dumbledore was regaining his colour, something that took a lot shorter time than I thought someone came through the doors. He was short and fat with dark, forest green robes and light green hat. He seemed to be sweating whilst gazing at his companion. She was of a similar build only in a bright, eye gouging pink with a sickly sweet smile on her face. But, once noticing my exposed circuitry, her eyes, once holding false kindness, only showed barely hidden anger. This was, according to my parents memories, most likely because I was semi-living proof that technology and magical energies can co-exist. Coincidentally, this was also something pure-bloods knew, according to James, and something they didn't want the mundane-raised to know as it could spark a revolution from the mundane-raised as they know the technology better than any pure-blood.
"Ah hello young Amaris Potter. I'm Cornelius Fudge the Minister of Magic. This is my Senior Undersecretary Dolores Umbridge. Now I'm sure you know who we are but I thought to introduce myself for your muggle companions who will unfortunately need to be obliviated but they deserve to know who we are. We are after all the head and undersecretary of the Wizarding World." The fat man said with an air of mis-held arrogance. But just as I was about to respond, the pink toad began with an air of disgust, most likely at my body. "Hmm Hmm. Well as the only heiress of the Ancient and Nobel house of Potter we will need to get that muggle stuff removed from you. If you need it to live, well magic can fix all of your injur-"
Before she ended that sentence I exploded with magic. I summoned Outburst, my amplified laser cannon before pointing it at the pink thing that insulted my entire race. Pushing magic through the machine caused it to shine with an ethereal blue glow. This, in effect, caused the three humans from earth to pale and sweat heavily before I began speaking. "I may not like my race of Ex-Machina but we are a proud race that flourishes with the combination of arcane energy and technology. We are the protectors of an entire dimension and need all of this 'muggle stuff' to function properly. This does not keep me alive more that your own body keeps your soul safe. This isn't my original body but it is the one my magic transferred me to when my fleshy version decided to fail after a walrus of a man decided to beat me unconscious. A man your precious Albus Dumbledore put me with. I don't know nor do I want to know who you are. Leave before I make you a pile of ash on what remains of the floor."
The three scrambled over each other to get out of the room before I put Outburst away. Turning around I saw a crying Corone and a pale Riku with glassy eyes. As I was going to say something Corone jumped on me and began crying her eyes out being followed by Riku. No words needed to be said as we enjoyed each other's company.
Whilst we were enjoying each other, I noticed two boys and a girl walk into the infirmary only to notice us. I locked gaze with the black haired, emerald eyed boy dressed in red robes, like Godric. The lone girls gasp broke our gaze, I saw her eyes staring at my cybernetics. I glared at her when I saw her accusatory glare, probably not believing someone like me could exist. According to Lily's memories, Earth was no where near capable of containing any Ex-Machina or robots. I decided to get rid of all accusations before they could become rumours. "Yes I'm robot or Ex-Machina to use the correct terminology. I am the soul of your friends sister reborn in the body of Üc207Pr4f57t9 and I have been living for over two hundred years. However whilst my soul is that of Amaris Potter, and my body is of Üc207Pr4f57t9 I have chosen to go by Schwi Dola."
Just as I finished my tirade Corone decided to speak up. "Hay Schwi, I've noticed you seem to be much more lively and talkative than usual. Why?"
"I'm still on battle mode so I will talk more that usually. This is something I adapted after observing human physiology and psychology. For some reason humans feel the need to monologue whenever in a fight so to blend in I have adapted to utilise this feature. Is it working?" I asked curious to see if this was working. Corone just shook her head and I understood. Such a thing was not normal in my day to day life that I had experienced with my new family. So I turned off my battle mode, ready to alter the setting to tone down the talking whilst in said mode.
"Affirmative. I shall keep my communication to a minimum." I responded with my usual monotone voice to the head shake. In the corner of my eye I could see my brother and his friends look in shock at my sudden change. "Can I be told my objective within this location?"
Riku responded saying, "Just be yourself, the Schwi we know and I fell in love with." So I brought some life back to my voice and eyes and summoned my jumper with drooping cat ears and fluffy balls attached to strings used to adjust the tightness off the hood. As an Ex-Machina I don't feel cold so I only have the jumper Riku gave me with nothing underneath.
"As a champion summoned by this goblet of fire thing," Corone began, "you need to compete in three tasks. The first is on the 24th of November, which is against a dragon, if the roars I've heard are correct." My brothe and his friends now went pale, probably at the thought of facing a dragon. "The second is on the 24th of February which is currently unknown. The third is on the 24th of June which is also unknown. But from what I've found out, something from the first task is needed to find out the second, and the last will be a complete secret. So nothing too difficult for you."
