Shadow decided to get something to eat and Jewel was going to watch Ruby.
"So Shard your mom seems nice."
"Yeah she's nice as long as you aren't a deep sleeper like me."
"I take it even an alarm doesn't wake you up?"
"Yeah alarms have never worked for me they always shut off because I don't wake up when they go off." Shard said chuckling a little.
"Yeah I'm a light sleeper because when it comes to Ruby I have to be ready to comfort her if she has a nightmare. Even though I love her like everyone she can be a pain."
"Yeah my mom always tells m when I was younger I was a very light sleeper. She always asks me why I can't be a light sleeper."
"Well why don't we eat I haven't eaten since lunch." Shadow suggested.
"Yeah, my mom's food is good so let's dig in."
After they ate they decided to watch something on TV.
"Well the Red Wings are playing the Kings. How about we watch that."
"Sure I haven't really watched hockey before."
"Well your in for a surprise then I love watching hockey and I love playing it even more."
"Really well do you play hockey for the school?"
"I plan on it. But hopefully I can get an offer to go play in either the Champions league or the Canadian Hockey League. I don't really plan on going to college because I've had enough school by the time I'm eighteen."
"Wow you really have your life planned out."
"Well I have to play for the school to get noticed by a team."
"Well I hope you succeed."
"Thanks Shard."
With that they continued watching the game with the Red Wings Losing 2-0.
"Well me and Ruby should get going."
"Isn't it a little dark to be walking home. Maybe you guys should stay for the night."
"Maybe your right. My parents won't care anyway so sure. But where would I sleep."
"Let's go ask my mom she'll know where."
With that they went to find Jewel who when the found her was watching a sleeping Ruby.
"Hey Mom can Shadow and Ruby stay the night."
"Sure."
"Ok, another question where will Shadow and Ruby sleep."
"Well I can watch Ruby for tonight and Shadow can sleep in your room." Jewel said subtly winking at Shard making her blush.
Shard glared at her mom for a moment but not long enough for Shadow to notice.
"Alright I guess." Shard said a bit embarrassed.
With that the 2 went to Shard's room to get some shut eye.
Nothing happened that night but Shadow remembered he had hockey tryouts the next day for the school.
Tomorrow will be nerve wracking. Shadow thought to himself.
With that he fell asleep feeling the cold from the Glaceon beside him.
I know this chapter is short but the next one will be longer alright I just wanted to get this chapter out since it's kind of important for the next. Anyway see ya.
