Chapter 4

The three man start walking in direction of the shipyard. They passed inside of the market of the island and got some look from the native but none of them approach them or even look them in the eyes they all start gossiping about the 3 men walking. Suddenly a young man with thorn tattoos stops them by standing in their way.

''what are you doing here? Did you have an authorisation?'' The young man asks.

Kid lift is head a little to look down on him and get the knife out of his belt before stabbing the man and bend over the now dead man.

''This is my authorisation, idiot! Tss he can't even hear me now'' Kid sigh.

''maybe next time tell him before killing him not after'' Said Killer in disapproving tone.

''Yeah yeah Kil, anyway why is there thorns man here?'' Kid asks turning to Killer.

'' Because they rule 3 islands, we only destroy one. '' Killer respond while turning is head to see the crowd of people looking at them. '' We should continue our way.''

With that Killer start walking again overtaking Kid. Kid start walking again as he sees the man in front of him. Well now he knows his answer those fuckers were here too. It was a good idea to let Heat on the boat. Kid thought. The three man finally reach the shipyard after 20 minutes of walk from the port. Kid smile after seeing the size of the place. They look like they can make a decent ship here. Kid continues looking around and didn't sees the old man coming for him.

'' This place is not for civilian'' The old man said as he took a step back seeing Kid turn to him.

'' Do I look like a civilian to you, old man?'' Kid asks with a now angry look in his eyes.

''no sorry, why are you here?'' The voice a little shimmering.

'' Why do people come to a shipyard old man, are you an idiot?'' Kid sigh.

''No I'm not an idiot but I doubt that people like you can buy a boat here. The lowest price is 100 000 berries.'' The old man said firmer.

Now Kid was pissed at the old man and he want to kill him, but they need a boat. Well, he kind of forget Killer presence by his side.

''Your catalog here said that you have boat for 50 000 berries. We can afford that. Right Captain.'' Kid realise that Killer didn't said his name this time to raise the level of fear of the old man.

Kid grin and let out a yes before pulling his knife under the throat of the old man.

'' Listen shitty old man, di not try to trick us like that again or I will kill you and just take one of those boat. So let's said that if you drop your price I will not kill you.'' Kid emphasised his word by pressing the knife more on the man throat.

''ok, I will drop to 48 000'' the knife cut the skin and blood start to leak out of the wound.'' OK for 40 000 but I can't do much'' Now Kid let go after looking Killer for his approval.

'' This ship better be ready in one weeks, old man'' Kid said as he turns his heels and start to head toward their current ship.

The captain was heading to the boat as Killer stop him and made him think that they should have a carpenter, or the ship won't last long. So, they start asking the same question to every carpenter they met and they got 5 rejection before Kid turn to Killer and start asking him how long a boat can last without a carpenter. That part of the conversation made someone laugh and made Kid angry. He turns around to see a dark skin man with blonde hair looking at them.

'' So you're the guy who threaten the old man'' The man jump from his location to face them. '' I heard that you were searching a carpenter. I can build your boat and even do more decoration if you let me come with you.'' This time he looks directly at Kid.

'' Why do you want to become a pirate? '' Kid asks looking for every reaction on the man face.

''Becoming boring just being here. '' The man responds like talking about the weather.

''You realize you have to fight and not fear the death, right?'' Kid looks very seriously at the man.

''Sure, I fight with guns and I don't really fear death at sea, I fear it more here.''

With this Kid grins and shake the hand of the man before telling him to pass the test by making them a boat that will impress him.

They head back to the ship before being attack once again by the thorn gang and the battle finish quickly as Kid use Repel and kill them with their weapon before stealing them, the money and the weapon. For once, Kid turns around to see Killer eyeing some weapon with a certain interest. Seeing the man not moving Kid shout out loud.

''YOU CAN TAKE IT KIL, I DON'T THINK HE WILL USE IT ANYMORE.''

Killer jumps a little from surprise before taking the weapon, it looks like two big brass knuckles. It actually covers the whole hand. And when Killer approach him with it he asks to see them to actually see mechanism releasing a sword. It was a little to big for Killer hand, but the man looks like he really like them so Kid promise to adjust them.

With the weapons they stole from the Thorns Killer goes sell them to some weapon buyer and make more money for the boat. Kid looks very in a hurry to go back to the boat, but Killer stops him telling him to wait the two man on the boat have to talk.

Heat seems to prefer the wood floor of the boat instead of Wire face because he doesn't look him in the eyes and he doesn't even tried to lift his head. So Wire decide to lean a little to tried and see the blue hair man eyes.

''What do you want us to talk about Heat? We can't pass the rest of the journey not looking at each other. The captain won't allow it. I want to know what happen to you after you decide to obey him… to protect me.

''I…'' Heat continues to look at the wood before talking.

*4 years ago*

A little blue hair boy was crying alone in the woods when suddenly he heard the bushes move, he jump of fear as his eyes lock with the one of a young boy with black hair. They both look each other until the black hair boy turn back and come back 30 minutes after with a first aid kit to heal some wounds of the blue hair boy.

The two boys start having some sort of relation when the blue hair boy got beaten, he come to the woods and the black hair boy was there to heal him of his wounds. They never ask each other name and didn't really talk. Wire didn't ask more question as he sees the thorn tattoos on Heat face. He knew the young boy was tattoos by force and didn't question him why.

It goes like that for a good time till one day, Heat was beaten again and come running in the forest. But this time one of the Thorn follow him. Wire was concentrated at cleaning Heat wounds as a punch come in his face and a foot hold him down. He saw the look of horror in the blue hair boy as he felt a gun on his temple.

''So you're sneaking out to see this rat, maybe you would stop resist if I kill him.'' The older man points the gun on the black hair boy head's and was ready to shoot as the blue hair boy scream.

''NO, STOP! … I…I will not come back… I will do what you want…please let him go Blackberry.''

The older man looks satisfied as he let go of the black hair boy and took the blue hair one on his shoulder and heading out of the forest. Wire didn't see Heat in that wood ever again.
