Tris' POV:

"Did you get the eggs?" I ask Tobias. We're in the grocery store getting some ingredients to bake a cake. We decided it would be fun to try making our own Dauntless cake this weekend.

"Yeah, I got the eggs, but I'm forgetting something else." He says looking around to see if he remembers.

I look around too, then realise we forgot the butter.

"Oh, we forgot the butter. You go ahead to the checkout line and I'll get it." I say and he nods, strolling our cart to the line.

I head to the dairy aisle and there are 5 different kinds of butter. The recipe called for unsalted butter, but I can't seem to find that one. There's also non-dairy butter, which I've never heard of before. I grab a pack of the regular butter and walk to the checkout line.

As I turn an aisle, I see Tobias standing with our cart a few feet away from the line talking to someone. When I walk closer, I see that it is Uriah. We haven't seen him or any of our other friends in a long time. They all moved away from the city after the war.

I go up to my husband and they both turn to me. "Hey, Uriah, what are you doing here?" He looks shocked and confused, alternating his gaze from me to Tobias, then clears his throat.

"Hey, Tris! I've been back for a while, actually. I didn't know you and Four still lived here." He says nervously.

"Yeah, we never moved away." I reply. Tobias slings his arm around my shoulder, glaring at Uriah. I sense tension between them, but before I can say anything, Uriah says goodbye and rushes out the store.

"What was that all about?" I ask Tobias but he dismisses it.

"It's nothing, let's go home." We get in line, pay for our stuff, then head to our car.

He is acting broody and I know something must've happened with Uriah because he was fine before. He doesn't talk to me all the way home.

"Tobias, you okay?" I ask him as we're putting the items we bought in the refrigerator.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he mutters and goes into the living room.

He's sitting on the couch when I go up to him and sit on his lap, straddling him. I wrap my arms around his neck. "No, you're not. Tell me what happened."

He lets out a breath and rests his forehead on mine. "I ran into Uriah and we were just catching up. He then brought you up in our conversation and said he hadn't seen you in a while. I was about to tell him that you were right there, when he was like, 'I hope she is single cause I've always had a huge crush on her.' I wanted to punch him so bad." He says clenching his jaw.

"Does he not know we're together?" I ask confused.

"Well, he does now." Tobias looks really upset. "He thought we dated for a while, then broke up. Because that's what they do, go through girls like trying on clothes. But he doesn't know that what we have is permanent."

"I know what you mean. But that was so long ago, Tobias. And I never liked him that way." I assure him.

"You can say if you did, Tris. I know most people would consider him good looking." He says looking deep into my eyes.

I shake my head. "I'm not like most people. I've never liked anyone except you, Tobias. You are the only one for me." I say staring back into his deep blue eyes.

He smiles at me, looking relieved. "That's what I love most about you, that you're not like most people."

I grin at him, and he hugs me tightly.

"Come on, let's make the cake." I say getting up and pulling his arm. He stands and we go into the kitchen.

"Do you have the recipe?" He asks me while getting a bowl and whisk.

"Yup, it's right here." I say and pull out the paper on which I had written the recipe.

"So, it says we have to first measure all the ingredients," he says reading the recipe.

"Okay," I take our measuring cups and spoons out, then we begin to measure all the ingredients.

I take two cake pans and grease them with butter then line them both with parchment paper. Meanwhile, Tobias preheats the oven and starts whisking the eggs with the sugar.

I add the ingredients one by one, according to the recipe. It says not to over-mix, so we gently fold the batter then pour it into the cake pans. He puts them into the oven to bake and we start making the chocolate frosting.

We melt the chocolate with whole-fat cream and whip it, making a creamy frosting. I put it in the refrigerator to chill before Tobias eats any more, then we clean the mess we made on the counter.

"I can't wait to eat it," Tobias says excitedly, pulling me into his arms.

"You'll have to be patient, the cake has to cool down before icing it, then it needs to chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour." I say standing on my tiptoes to kiss him.

"Fine, I'll wait." He murmurs against my mouth. He tightens his hold on me and picks me up, setting me on the counter.

We get lost in the kiss, running our hands all over each other. I taste the chocolate on his tongue, making me crave him. But as I go to take his shirt off, the oven timer beeps. I pull away and he sighs.

I take the cakes out of the oven and insert a skewer to check if it's baked, then put them on a rack to cool.

"Let's start the dinner, it'll be done by the time the cakes cool down." He says.

"Okay, what do you wanna eat?" I ask him.

"How about we make some tomato soup with grilled cheese?" He suggests.

"Yeah, sounds good." I respond, and we prepare the soup.

It's so easy to work with Tobias. We move comfortably around the kitchen, brushing past each other and kissing lightly. He keeps staring at me, grinning when I catch him. I smile back and roll my eyes.

After we're done with the soup, we check on the cakes and sure enough, they're cool.

He puts the frosting in a piping bag, occasionally tasting it, while I trim the cakes so they're even.

We pipe the frosting on one cake, smooth it out, then place the other cake on top. We then cover the entire cake with frosting. We smooth it out again and refrigerate it.

Tobias eats the remaining frosting, getting it all over his mouth. He playfully rubs his face over mine. I squeal and try to get away from him, but he's got a strong hold on me, licking my lips to get the frosting off.

We look at each other and burst out laughing. He holds my face with both of his hands and kisses me hard. I run my hands up and down his back.

"Mm, you taste like chocolate, love." He says and pulls my bottom lip into his mouth, sucking on it and tugging it. I pull back and he rests his forehead on mine.

"Let's finish dinner, then we can watch a movie." I suggest.

"Okay, I'll make the grilled cheese. Can you set the table?" I nod and we get to work.

We sit down and enjoy the food, casually talking and kissing. After finishing our dinner, I cut us each a slice of the cake. Tobias is impatiently waiting as I get us two forks and proceed to feed him the first bite. He grins, and gives me a bite too.

The cake is absolutely delicious. It's not the same as Dauntless cake but it's pretty damn close. We take turns feeding each other and kissing lightly.

"That was so good." Tobias says patting his belly.

"I know, right," I say laughing.

We clean up the kitchen and go into the living room. He switches on the television and plays a movie. It's about a guy who can time travel. It's very interesting and we cuddle while watching it.

After the movie, we head upstairs to our bedroom to get ready for bed. We brush our teeth and decide to take a shower. I get rid of my clothes and pull my hair up in a bun. Then go into the shower cabin and turn on the water, waiting for it to reach the perfect temperature.

Tobias comes in after a moment and takes me into his arms. I stand on my tiptoes to kiss him. He takes some of my bodywash and rubs it all over me, creating lather. He gives special attention to my breasts, massaging them thoroughly.

After he's done with me, I do the same with him, running my soapy hands all over his muscular body. I trace his tattoo and knead his shoulders, making him moan and hang his head.

We wash each other thoroughly and stand under the stream of water to rinse the soap off. I hold on to him tightly as he runs his large hands all over my body, then settles them on my butt and squeezes firmly. I feel his erection against my stomach and press myself closer to him.

"Tris, I want you, love." Tobias says breathlessly.

"Let's get out of here." I say and he turns the water off. We get out and dry ourselves hurriedly.

He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. He carries me to the bed and lays me down, hovering over me.

He pins my hands above me with one hand and spreads my legs as far apart as he can with the other. He teases my folds then pushes his middle finger inside me, curling it a little. He adds a second finger and rubs my clit with his thumb making me squirm and moan. He keeps a fast pace and doesn't stop till I come hard on his hand.

I'm still trembling when he replaces his hand with his hard shaft. I moan his name loudly and he grabs my other hand and holds them both down while thrusting frantically into me.

I love that Tobias takes me roughly and doesn't treat me like I'm gonna break. Many would look at me and think I'm fragile, but not Tobias. He always tells me I'm stronger than anyone he knows.

He hikes my legs higher so they're on his shoulders and I whimper when he takes a nipple into his mouth, sucking enthusiastically. He's sliding so fast that I feel like flying. Each time he slams into me, I feel his body touch my clit, and I moan with each thrust.

"Tobias!" I cry out as pleasure overwhelms my body.

As I'm coming down from my high, he groans my name then shudders above me and lets go, spilling himself in me. He rolls onto his back and pulls me on top of him, holding me close and caressing my hair as we both try to slow our heartbeats down.

"I love you." I say looking up at him.

"I love you, too, Tris." He says, grinning widely.

We get under the covers and snuggle together, talking about nothing in particular.

"We should bake more often. The cake was amazing." He whispers, playing with my fingers.

"Yes, we should. I had fun today." I murmur.

He keeps me close, kissing my head and entwining our bodies. My eyelids feel heavy and sleep soon finds me.

A/N: Hey! It's been a few days since I updated, but I decided to switch the POVs. Let me know what you think of this chapter. Have a great day!
