Chapter Four

"Harry, are you sure you can do all this by yourself?" asked Arthur.

"With my enhanced abilities I can, but I would not turn down some help. The guard in the atrium said he was willing to help too. Now, I don't want you risking harm to your family, so you do whatever you can while mitigating that risk."

"Don't worry about me, Harry. I've been at this for a long time. I've been in the Order since the first war. I have my skills. I'll go let the good ones know what is happening but make sure they keep mum about it. If we can take out some quietly to help you, we will."

"Just be careful, Mr. Weasley."

"You do the same, Harry."

Harry started to leave but stopped when he had an idea.

"Mr. Weasley?"

"Yes."

"I just had a great idea! Why don't you follow me to the Minister's office first and we'll deal with him and whoever is protecting him? Then you can take over as interim Minister until we can hold elections again."

"Oh, I don't think I would be a good Minister, Harry."

"Of course you would be! No one knows more about how the Ministry needs to be run than you, Mr. Weasley. Come on, we need to hurry."

Arthur followed him thinking it over before he remembered to tell Harry that Minister Thicknesse was likely under the Imperius Curse.

When they exited the lift and headed down the hall to the Minister's office, they didn't see anyone until they walked into the open area where the receptionist sits. She was there along with two Death Eaters serving as protection for the Minister.

Before anyone could blink Harry had the two Death Eaters down, both killed with bone crushers to the chest area. It caused their ribs to explode and tear through their hearts, killing them instantly. The only blood that showed was what came out of their mouths after they hit the floor.

The receptionist screamed when the two guards were killed but Arthur had his wand trained on her so she stayed put. Harry kept going to take care of the Minister who would now be aware of a problem. Harry picked up one of the guards with one hand and blasted the doors to the Minister's office open before throwing the Death Eater through it. He followed in after that and caught Pius Thicknesse looking at the Death Eater on the floor.

Harry hit him with a Petrificus Totalis. When he looked into his eyes, he could see then that he was under the Imperius Curse. Harry took the man's wand, removed the curse controlling him, and then removed the petrification.

"You are no longer Minister of Magic, Pius Thicknesse," Harry told him. "In fact, the Ministry of Magic is no longer under Voldemort's control. Since I can't fully trust you yet, I want you to sit in that chair," Harry said pointing to one in front of the desk.

Pius stood up and sat in the chair as indicated. Harry then tied him up using Incarcerous. He then walked back into the reception area to find Arthur talking with the receptionist.

"What about her?" asked Harry.

"I've known Betty for a long time. She was under the Imperius Curse. I removed it and she's fine now."

"Good. Glad to have you back, Betty. Mr. Thicknesse was under the Imperius like you thought. I removed it too. Why don't you come on in, Mr. Weasley, and take over? I've already explained to the previous Minister he was dismissed from his post. He's waiting in the office. You can talk to Mr. Thicknesse if you have any questions as you get started."

"Are you sure about this, Harry?" Arthur asked him.

"I'm positive. Betty? What's your opinion on Mr. Weasley stepping in as interim Minister until we can hold elections again?"

"I think that's a brilliant idea. Arthur is honest and trustworthy. The Ministry will be in very good hands."

"But I would have to be appointed and approved by the Wizengamot. You can't just decide, Harry, that I will be Minister for now."

"Oh really? And just where is the Wizengamot currently? I'll tell you. It doesn't exist and if I have my way it will come back much different than it was. The reason it doesn't exist is because Voldemort rules with an iron first. There is no balance of power under Voldemort. He is the one who makes all the decisions.

"I'm taking over the Ministry of Magic today. That puts me in charge. You are going from one absolute ruler to another, only my first order is to pass the reins of the Ministry to someone I trust. That person is you. I don't trust anyone else enough right now to turn over the Ministry to them. You are the best person for the job and Betty agrees with me."

Betty nodded while Arthur let out a breath of air he didn't even know he was holding.

"Now, I need you in your office setting it up for your role as Minister. You have Betty here to help you along with Mr. Thicknesse. I need to continue subduing the rest of Voldemort's followers and sympathizers."

Arthur walked into the office and saw Thicknesse sitting there tied up.

"Harry! Why do you have Pius tied up in this chair?" asked Arthur loud enough so Harry could hear him.

Harry walked back into the office.

"I don't trust him enough yet, Minister. If you want to release him, you can. But he will be your responsibility if you do. If I come back and find he has betrayed us then I will kill him just like I did his guards. Do I make myself clear, Mr. Thicknesse?"

"Yes. Thank you for releasing me from that curse. It will be my pleasure to help Arthur get settled in as the new Minister."

"Excellent! Please try to move quickly as I endeavor to do the same," he told them as he handed over the wand he took off of Pius to Arthur. "I'll let you hang onto his wand."

Before Harry finished at the Ministry and turned it completely over to Arthur, he made sure all the ones left understood about Arthur being the new interim Minister. If anyone disagreed and refused to work with the new Minister, then he promised he would return and set them straight.

No one had any doubts about what Harry Potter could do. They were all aware of him taking over the Ministry single-handedly. They were also aware that he killed all the Death Eaters and anyone who agreed with them. He did make sure the sympathizers had a chance to change their minds after he explained everything Voldemort and the Death Eaters had done and what they stood for.

No one took him up on his offer so most of them died. The less violent ones were arrested and were to be held for trial.

Arthur demanded an unbreakable vow from Pius Thicknesse before releasing him from the ropes. It was not too onerous but guaranteed his compliance in whatever role Arthur assigned him. Consequently, since Pius had previously served as the Director of the DMLE, appointed by Scrimgeour, then Arthur decided he was experienced enough to run it for him, at least until he could get Kingsley Shacklebolt back in the Ministry.

Arthur immediately began contacting all the members of the Order and real aurors who left because they refused to work for Voldemort. He knew he was going to need more people he trusted so he was bringing them all to the Ministry to help him.

oOo

Harry knew that Snape was the headmaster at Hogwarts and the Carrows were posing as professors. He didn't like Snape but he was pretty sure he was on the right side. He would keep an eye on him just in case.

It was night time so Harry used the Shrieking Shack to get onto the school grounds and calmly walked up to the front doors of the castle. They were locked due to all the activity by Harry and the others, so he pounded on the door hard, making the sound reverberate inside the castle.

After a couple of minutes he heard someone yell on the other side of the door.

"Who are ya and what do ya want?" he heard Filch ask.

"I'm the big, bad wolf, Mr. Filch! Let me in!"

"Go away!" he yelled.

"No, no, no!" he exclaimed exasperated with him. "You're supposed to say 'not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!'"

"Huh?"

"Then I say, 'then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your door down.' But you don't want me to harm the castle do you? Just open the door before I have to blow it down."

Then Harry heard Snape's voice.

"Who is at the door, Mr. Filch?" Snape asked.

"Someone whose obviously nutters," he replied.

"How did he get on the grounds?"

"The heck if I know, Headmaster," Filch answered.

"Snape!" Harry yelled. "Tell that mean squib to open the door. I want in."

"You obviously know who we are. Do you mind telling us who you are?" Snape asked.

"That would ruin the surprise. Now either open the door or move away from it before I blow it open."

The two men barely noticed that many students were gathering behind them watching the proceedings. It was not too long after dinner was over. The Carrows made their way to directly behind Snape and Filch.

"He can't blow that door off," Amycus Carrow said. "It's warded and he wouldn't have the power it would take to do that."

"That's right. He's bluffin'," agreed Alecto Carrow. "He's also probably drunk and doesn't know what he's saying."

"Filch, Snape?" Harry asked loudly. "I hate to do this to the castle but if you're still standing in front of the door, I suggest you move. I'm going to count to five and then come in. If you don't move, you can't say I didn't warn you or give you enough time. Here goes."

Snape moved over to the side and pulled Filch with him. The Carrows stayed where they were. The students and the rest of the staff were far enough back not to get hurt.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

"FOUR!"

Snape, the Carrows, and several others put up shields just in case.

"FIVE!"

"BOOM!"

The doors exploded inward knocking the Carrows backwards as parts of the doors rammed into their shields. They laid on the floor moaning. Snape had just a few small pieces bounce off of his. He made sure his shield was covering Filch too.

When the dust began to settle, everyone noticed there was a man standing there with his hood up covering his face. He calmly walked into the castle and turned to look at Snape and Filch.

"All you had to do was open the door," he told them then calmly waved his hand doing a strong Reparo that put the door back good as new.

Harry removed his hood and heard many shouts of 'Harry Potter!'

Snape and Filch stood there in shock and not moving or saying anything. Snape could not believe what he was seeing. He watched Potter being tortured for weeks and weeks. He watched the dark lord remove all of Potter's limbs and eyes. How can this be?

Harry walked toward the Carrows as he lifted a hand and stunned them then tied them up. He then heard a chorus of happy kids thankful for what he did. He turned back to Snape.

"Any students here, Headmaster, that support the dark lord?"

"A few," he replied nodding.

"Please lockdown the castle and all exits including the floo connections. I need to see everyone in the Great Hall immediately."

Snape waved his wand and everyone heard the lockdown of the castle then an announcement was heard by everyone.

"MANDATORY MEETING IN THE GREAT HALL! EVERYONE MUST ATTEND! GO THERE IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT DAWDLE!"

After most of the students had went into the Great Hall and when no one was looking Harry killed the Carrows with knocks over the head, then took their wands and portkeyed their bodies to the Auror office cells. He then waited until all the students were gathered in the Great Hall and standing at attention. Snape told them that someone was here to speak to them. He strongly suggested they listen carefully.

Harry then walked in and made his way to the raised platform beside Snape. There were many whispers as he passed by and they recognized him.

Harry turned when he was on the platform standing next to Snape.

"Hello everyone! I'm ba-ack!" he said drawing the last word out a little in a sing-song manner.

"Now, if you please, I would like those who support Voldemort to step forward and stand before me so I can address you properly."

Some reacted when he said Voldemort but no one moved to come forward.

"What's the matter? No courage to stand up for your beliefs?"

Harry then turned to Snape. "Headmaster? If you please? I really need to speak to those believers specifically."

"Very well." Snape then called by name the ones he knew were committed. There were thirteen of them. Most all were seventeen years of age. Two were girls. "Come up to the front as requested," Snape demanded.

Harry watched as they walked up and lined up in front of him and Snape. He then asked Snape quietly," What about the Carrow girls, the twins?"

"They're too young and if I had to guess, they are not like their parents at all."

Harry nodded.

"I know there are a few of you out there who are on the fence and have not completely decided yet," Snape continued. "I don't know exactly what Mr. Potter is going to say to these who have decided but I suggest you listen very carefully as well."

"Why are you letting him do anything?" asked one of the male seventh years in the group of thirteen.

"Shut it and listen for a change," Snape told him.

The boy huffed but kept quiet.

"So, you thirteen truly believe that Voldemort is right in what he's done? You don't mind that he kills indiscriminately? You think it's alright to treat Muggleborns and half-bloods as lower than you? You guys are all purebloods, right?"

They all nodded during his questions.

"So you actually have thought it through, I mean really given it some serious thought, weighed all the rights and wrongs, the consequences, the morality of it, and still believe you are correct?"

They nodded again.

"So, since you consider Muggleborns and half-bloods as less than you, then it would be completely wrong to follow and serve either one of those, correct?"

They all nodded as if that was a given.

"You mean to say if a really powerful half-blood came along and wanted to take over the world and subjugate everyone under his reign of terror, you wouldn't join him?"

They shook their heads no.

"What if he promoted being a pureblood and insisted that all the Muggleborns be rounded up and only the half-bloods who agreed with his beliefs would be spared? Would you follow him then?"

They shook their heads no again. The one who spoke before even said, "Of course not."

"Then why are you following Voldemort? Didn't you know he's a half-blood?"

"What?!" the boy yelled. "You don't know what you're talking about!"

"I don't? Voldemort told me this himself. I also did a little research and found out he wasn't lying to me. Quite an odd experience considering he lies about nearly everything. Think about it. How many of you know the last names of all the pureblood families? I bet most of you do or you at least would recognize a name that didn't belong.

"Who can tell me how long the Voldemort family has been in existence?"

No one spoke up and the thirteen before him looked very confused.

"Anyone?" Harry asked. "I'll even open it up to the rest of the students behind you."

Still no one spoke up.

"Sorry. That was a trick question," he said with a smile. "There is no pureblood Voldemort family. In fact, there is no Voldemort family at all. He just made that name up. He wanted to be more than he was so he forsook his real name and took on the identity of Lord Voldemort.

"His real name is Tom. Marvolo. Riddle," Harry stated it slowly.

Harry turned around and wrote it in large letters in the air above his head so they all could read it without a problem.

"Anyone heard of a pureblood family named Riddle?" he asked turning back around. "Going once, going twice? No?

"Sorry. That was another trick question. However, there is a Riddle family with a rather long history. There's just no magic in that family. They're a completely Muggle family that used to exist before Voldemort killed them all.

"You see his mother was named Merope Gaunt. Her magic was so weak, she was practically a squib. The Gaunt family were direct descendants of Salazar Slytherin and very proud of that fact. They took being pureblood to the extremes and married other family members a little too often. This resulted in mental issues, deformities, and weak magic.

"Merope had a brother and a father she lived with in a run-down shack in a small town called Little Hangleton. Her father's name was Marvolo Gaunt. So you can see," Harry said gesturing back to the name he wrote in the air, "she named her son, well at least his middle name, after her father.

"Not too far from where they lived in their hovel of a shack, there was a grand mansion on a hill that overlooked Little Hangleton. The owners of the nice home were a Muggle family with the last name of Riddle. Their son Tom was around Merope's age and she fell in love with him from a distance as she saw him often passing by on the road.

"To get away from her family who treated her badly and to capture the heart of the one she loved, she brewed a love potion and managed to get young Tom Riddle to ingest it. Soon after that they were married and Merope became pregnant with a child. She eventually decided that she no longer needed to dose her husband with a potion. They were married and expecting a child, after all.

"However, as soon as she quit dosing Tom Riddle with the potion, he woke up and was very angry for what she did to him. He abandoned her and their unborn baby in his anger. After all, he didn't love her. He was just forced to love her.

"Merope ended up down on her luck and broke at an orphanage in London when the baby was due. She managed to have the baby but died soon after. Before she died the ones helping her asked what she wanted to name him. She named him Tom Marvolo Riddle," Harry said gesturing to the written name above his head again. "He was named after the father who abandoned him and his mother's father.

"Tom grew up in that orphanage and went to Hogwarts when he was eleven years old. Professor Dumbledore was the one that spoke to him about Hogwarts when he visited Tom. He even showed me the memory of that visit.

"Tom was very powerful, even as a child. He was also troubled as a child and never seemed to shake that problem. He was sorted into Slytherin and grew up as his power grew even more, along with his abusive nature. Tom was not only powerful but he was intelligent too. He made an Outstanding on all of his OWLs and NEWTs. He was also Head Boy in the 1944-1945 school year.

"If you don't believe me, look in the Trophy Room at the past Head Boys and Girls. Be sure to check out my parents too when you do that. They were head boy and girl during their seventh years.

"This is what Voldemort showed me down in the Chamber of Secrets during my second year. You see he wrote his name just like I did. He then rearranged the letters showing that the name he made up was an anagram of his real name."

Harry waved his hand so the name he wrote formed something else. It now read 'I am Lord Voldemort.'

Everyone saw the letters rearranging themselves and many let out gasps of surprise.

"So, one question remains to you thirteen before me. Do you still wish to serve a half-blood lord who is no lord at all?"

"I can't believe this!" exclaimed one of them. "How can this be true?"

"All this is verifiable. If you don't want to take my word for it feel free to look it all up. The answers will be the same."

Most everyone was in shock over the news.

"You know what else is strange?" Harry asked. "I'm pretty sure the majority of his inner circle have known this for years."

All thirteen of the ones before him raised their heads and looked right at him. Harry just nodded his head at them knowingly.

"So, why all the lies and covering this up, you may ask?" Harry continued.

Many nodded wanting to know why.

"How else was he going to get enough followers? When you have so many purebloods who are willing to believe being pureblood makes them better somehow, what better lie can you tell when you are so powerful and you want to convince them they can have it all if they just help you take over?

They were starting to think over what he had been telling them.

"You know, I could stand before you and say half-bloods are better than everyone else because we have the best of both worlds. Due to that reason, we are more powerful witches and wizards. After all, Dumbledore was one of the most powerful wizards to ever live. He was a half-blood. Voldemort is almost as powerful as Dumbledore was. He is also a half-blood. Me, I'm a half-blood and I'm as powerful as Voldemort."

There were more gasps from his audience.

"You didn't know that? It was prophesied. There was a prophecy before I was born that said I would be his equal, but I would I have a power he knows not. I took that to mean I would be as powerful as him. As it turned out, I am. I may even be slightly more powerful than him after some changes that took place not too long ago.

"Now, the only problem with my previous statement about half-bloods being better, is the same problem with what you purebloods want to believe. It's a flat out lie. There is no difference between pureblood, half-blood, or Muggleborn. There have been powerful witches and wizards in all three of those categories, so don't fall for any of that nonsense.

"Don't believe Muggles are less than you either. In fact, stop believing you are better than anyone else. Period. You'll be sorry if you ever have to face the power the Muggles yield. Sure, we have magic, which is great, but they have technology which can be more than what magic can stand against.

"The reason the magical world stays hidden from the Muggles is because they could easily wipe us all out if they wanted to. You don't want to poke that sleeping dragon. Some of the Death Eaters at the Ministry came to that same conclusion.

"Be smart for a change and realize we all just need to get along."

Harry stopped talking finally and just stared at the thirteen in front of him. They looked very uncomfortable. Harry looked around and saw a few who seemed to be thinking things over carefully. Then his eyes landed on a beautiful seventh year with red hair. She was looking right at him too with a smile on her face.

Harry smiled and stepped down from the platform and walked over to her. She turned and stepped out of line when he neared where she was. Harry stepped right up to her. She was a good bit taller than he remembered. However, so was he. She used to be slightly taller than him.

Of course, tallness ran in her family. She looked to be about 5'9 or 5'10" now and she didn't have on any heels.

"Ginny Weasley, you are a welcome site for these eyes. I was just talking to your father earlier today at the Ministry."

"How is he? Is he okay?" she asked worriedly.

"Oh, he's more than okay. He's downright peachy."

"Peachy?" she asked unsure.

"Yes, he's the new Minister of Magic and he's very busy straightening things up down there."

"What did you do, Harry?"

"Oh, that reminds me! I have more to tell. Man, I feel like I've been talking for ages. As soon as I'm done I want to talk to you some more. Will that be okay?"

"Sure. I'll wait. I'd love to talk to you as long as you want."

"Don't go anywhere then. I'll be right back," he told her then walked back to the platform.

"Alright everyone," he said after he was back in front of them again. "I have just a few more items of business to cover before I'm done. You'll then be free to go about your own business. First, you need to know that you'll be hard pressed to find any Death Eaters or snatchers left out there. They've all been killed."

There was a collective gasp from the students.

"In addition, before I came here tonight, I was at the Ministry earlier where I took it out of Voldemort's hands and then appointed Arthur Weasley to the position of Minister of Magic. I needed someone I could trust and I trust him completely. He is doing what he can to straighten out the Ministry after Voldemort pretty much made a mess of everything.

"Don't worry. He has called on many to help him and there were quite a few still at the Ministry that were not on the wrong side. All those that were on the wrong side were either killed or we are holding them for trial.

"The magical people out there have joined the fight as well. At first, it was just me but I am no longer alone in this quest to turn our magical world in the right direction toward peace and freedom. Those Death Eaters and snatchers did not just run into me and lose their lives. They ran into angry citizens who were tired of the tyranny. They want their freedom back and are willing to kill those ones who wish to take it away from them.

"You thirteen need to think about that too. The next time I see you, I hope you have changed your mind. Because if you become a Death Eater and follow Voldemort then I will be forced to kill you. There is no more room on this planet for people who think like that. We will have peace and freedom even if we have to kill half of the magical people to achieve it.

"I mentioned not poking the dragon of the Muggle world, but you've already poked the dragon of the freedom loving people in the magical world and they aren't going to take it anymore. Look behind you. There are just thirteen of you. See how many there are behind you that don't think like you?

"If they joined together against you, where would you be in that fight? You would be overwhelmed without a chance. That's where you'd be. Think about it carefully and make the right choice. Everyone has a right to enjoy freedom and peace. No one has the right to try to subjugate others with tyranny.

"That's all I have. Now, excuse me while I consult with your headmaster," he said making his writing disappear that was still above his head.

Harry pulled Snape back to the wall and cast a silencing charm around them as the students started disbursing.

"Tell me. Is Voldemort still living at Malfoy Manor or do I need to look for him elsewhere?"

"He is but the wards have been strengthened to the point you will never get in," he told Harry. "A few of his inner circle are there with him."

"Then how can I get him out of those wards so I can kill him?"

"Are you sure you're ready for him?"

"I'm more than ready."

"I'll give it some thought and see what I can come up with, Potter. Meanwhile, mind telling me how you managed to do all this?" he asked gesturing at Harry's body. "I saw him remove your legs, your arms, and your eyes. I do not know how you pulled this off, plus you're taller."

"It's a long story. I'll tell you all about it another time. I need to talk to a friend before I leave. Send me a patronus message if you come up with anything. He needs to be taken out as soon as possible."

Snape nodded as Harry walked off to catch up with Ginny.

He found her waiting at the back of the Great Hall.

"Do you mind if we go for a little stroll?" he asked.

"No. I don't mind."

Harry led her out the doors and to the outside. They began a walk around the grounds using the light of the half moon and the lights shining from the windows of the castle, allowing them to see. Harry simply put his eyes on night vision and could see perfectly.

"I've missed you, Ginny."

"I've missed you too, Harry. It's been a long time."

"How have things been here at the school?"

"It was really bad at first, especially last year. Ron was still here then and he and I were treated horribly by the Carrows and Slytherins, like Malfoy and his group, who were helping them. Then Dad went back to work at the Ministry with the promise we would be left alone as long as he did his job for them. That's when it changed and the difference was like night and day.

"Of course we had to not do anything to draw attention to ourselves or else the deal could be withdrawn and my father would be killed, at least that's what they told us. It was difficult watching our friends being tortured and not able to do anything to help them. The Carrows are some of the worst of his followers," she said with a disgusted look on her face.

"The Carrows won't hurt anyone else. I made sure of that, Ginny."

"Where did they go? I last saw them in the entranceway all tied up."

"I portkeyed their bodies to the Auror cells at the Ministry."

"Their bodies? They were alive the last time I saw them laying on the floor."

"They weren't alive when I sent them to the Ministry."

"O-kay," she said slowly. "So what have you been up to?" she asked changing the subject.

"A lot has happened, more than you would likely believe. I'm not the same person I was before I left Hogwarts. I'm not sure you would still want to be my friend after everything I've done."

"Why would you say that?"

"I've killed a lot of people, Ginny, and most of that was done out of vengeance. Voldemort and his followers did something to me that I could never forgive. I've been killing them as I come across them. I do not believe they deserve to live."

"Tell me, Harry," she said putting her hand on his arm. She couldn't believe how hard it was. "What happened? I promise I'm not going anywhere. I'm your friend and I will not leave you no matter what you tell me. That's what true friends do. They stick by you no matter what."

While Ron and Hermione drifted away from Harry after he got so involved in his passion for technomancy in his fourth year, Ginny would always go out of her way to say hello and see how he was doing. They usually ate together in the Great Hall when Harry remembered to go eat on time. If he forgot then Dobby would bring him food.

Harry conjured a bench with cushions for the seat and back. He then gestured to it.

"We best sit down then. This will not be easy and it'll take a while."

After they sat Harry began his story of what his abilities were at the Dursleys and then his discovery in fourth year about Technomancy after seeing Mad-Eye's magical eye. He talked about how hard he worked to learn as much as possible and how far he made it into that world of technology and magic melded together.

He then spoke of his fighting Death Eaters all by himself until he was tricked and trapped. He told her of everything that happened to him, their cruelty, and how he just wanted to die until Dobby saved him and convinced him to live.

Ginny was crying and could not stop.

Then Harry told of Dobby bringing him Mad-Eye's magical eye, of helping him build his arms using Harry's knowledge of Technomancy, how he took over after that building his ear drum, his eyes, and his legs. How long it took to recover after all the torture and trauma. He then described the spell to grow skin over the metal and how it hides his cybernetics so well.

Ginny was in shock but she at least stopped crying and realized now why she was confused after hearing of Harry losing all his limbs and eyes. That's because he was sitting beside her looking normal with all that in place and not missing, plus they had just walked to where they were sitting.

"That is amazing, Harry! To be able to do all that is simply amazing. I was wondering why when I touched your arm earlier, that it felt so hard. Now I know. I noticed you've been using wandless magic the whole time you've been here. Everyone noticed that and no one had a problem believing you after you said you were equal in power to Voldemort. The show you put on put away any doubts."

"How do you feel about me being half machine?" he asked dreading her answer.

"Why would I care? I don't know how you did it, but you still have those fabulous green eyes just like I remember them before, and without glasses I can see them so much better."

"That's the default state but I can change their color if I want," he told her.

"Really?" she asked.

Harry held up his right hand and used a pointer finger to act like a lamp above their heads to give them light.

Ginny looked into his eyes and watched as he cycled through different colors. He not only did the normal ones, such as blue, brown, green, and hazel but different variations of those colors, such as a light blue and a darker blue. He then did some other strange colors like purple, but looked scary when he did yellow, orange, and red.

"Can your eyes do the same things Mad-Eye's did?"

"More, actually. The only thing I can't do with my eyes that he could do with his is spin them around. Remember how he used to look backwards through his own head to see behind him? He was so paranoid," he told her with a chuckle. "I can roll my eyes like normal," Harry then demonstrated. "I just can't spin them."

"Why not?"

"They're not designed that way. Besides Mad-Eye's eye didn't fit fully into his eye socket. It was too big to fit inside the socket so it was mostly on the outside and spun in that leather strap he wore to use it.

"My eyes are meant to look more natural or normal, but at the same time have many useful abilities."

"Like what?" she asked.

Harry looked at her then replied, "Well, I can tell you that you're wearing a lacy black bra and knickers underneath your clothes."

Ginny sucked in a breath and then slapped him on the arm which she realized didn't hurt him.

"You asked," he said with a smile.

"You are cheeky, Harry Potter. Now stop looking at my undies!"

"I've already stopped. I won't do it again. I promise."

"You promise?"

"Yes, I promise."
