After I may or may not had my bed changed for sanitary reason I decided it was as good a time as any to try and exercise, yes I may have been months old or weeks only, I didn't really know- and truth be told I didn't care- survivability was of the highest priority. Going logically about it, I had been kidnaped and doused with experimental drugs for some reason and was one of three survivors among a dozen poor souls. I had the advantage of having a system and an almost perfectly functional mind, so I got to it. Hindsight was 20/20 considering all the limitation the system liked to impose on me but I couldn't know without trying.
'You miss hundred percent of the shot you don't take after all' I thought, giving me a bit of confidence for my exercises. Well… I said exercise but it was mostly trying to move my limbs in a coordinated way… which was way harder than it might sound.
Anyway, I didn't let difficulty get in my way; I tried for simple things first, raising my right arm, raising my left, raising both. That was… easy enough if way too long. So I did it again, then I did the same with my legs. Left, then right, then both, then left and right again, and cycle on and on… again, and again and again… Then it happened.

'Sweet, it was just perfect! Exactly what I needed.' Basically with that little stunt I just proved a theory of mine. Depending on the kind of system there are multiples possibilities, some would only allow for the distribution of point when leveling up while other would allow for growing stronger through exercise.
Mine hinted toward the second when it claimed that I was mostly subjected to the law of physics that governed the world I was in, but I couldn't be sure because of all the restrictions it imposed so far. People here didn't have external help and grew stronger through pain and training, which I could, thankfully, replicate. I was also able to create skills which would be a great help later on. Although the one I just developed would be a minor one in the long run seeing as everybody would be able to control his body at some point, still, being able to do so early would allow me to develop faster, and I needed that, really really badly.
I had no proof for it, but the people who experimented on us needed us for something, being useful would mean not being disposed of early, which they have proven to be very capable of so far... If I could grow sufficiently strong I could part way with them at some point without them being able to say otherwise.
In resume, training and system would be my life savior. So I did what any avid and experienced gamer, or pseudo-player would do: I grinded.
A lot.

I had nothing but time, time that I dedicated entirely to repeat the motion I had started with and then some. The skill explanation had been extremely helpful in that regard. It plainly stated what it would be used for, not just movement of my limbs but also head and back, crawling and walking. Sure, I didn't have a lot of space in this, but I could try rolling and my back, then on my belly then on my back again and try to sit up in this positions.
It was beyond difficult; rolling alone took way more effort than I ever believed would be possible, and getting it right took me about several dozen tries… As I said, I have nothing but time.
Still, I did not picture it like that at all, it was more like flailing my body part and hoping that the speed in which I landed them would carry my body with it at that point. There was no control involved so far. But it would come, in time, I did not despair, nope… not at all, haha… I was nothing but calm and dedicated to my craft.
Anyway, I rolled and rolled until I somehow got the hang of it, when I figured I could pull it of regularly without too much struggles I got my second prompt.
Skill level up! [Gross Motor Control] (Passive) Lvl 1/10 →Lvl 2/10.
'Yes! Mouhahahahaha' I laughed as evilly as I could, which was totally not a cute giggle that would make any normally constituted adult or teenager girl coo in delight… it was a perfectly and absolutely honed evil laugh, if I could say so myself…which I did.
The skill description was really great though, I didn't know if it was intended this way, but I had my path carved for me, next would be try to sit, then I guess everything related to motion like crawl stand up, walk and run. I theorized that every stage I got would probably get me one level up in my gross motor skill. The other hint that the skill provided was that there was at least one other motor skill if not more. A 'gross' motor skill would suggest there would be another one more precise… probably even more involving both of them or some sort of coordination…
I didn't want to rush thing, believing that everything would come in due time; still developing this other skill I thought off could come in handy, no pun intended. The two skills working together would probably allow for even faster development I reckoned. 'Well, here goes nothing!'
I tried moving my right hand to catch my nose; I didn't really know what to do so having a clear objective in mind would probably help. Again, it was painfully and overly hard… babies may have reflexes when it comes to catching fingers, but voluntary catching movement with an extension that might have well been made of jelly... that was another matter entirely. Nevertheless, I persisted. I felt my stubby fingers itching on my nose, lying down on my belly probably made it easier to reach it, or not, I couldn't really tell but I believed it made it easier for me to attain my target. Now came the hard part though… catching it, I willed my jelly made extremities to contract with all my might and force. I was probably going red and sweating from the strain. Thankfully nobody was here to see it; otherwise they would probably think me either constipated or sick, and judging by how our tenants acted toward any sign of weakness… that… probably wouldn't be a delight to behold.
I felt my clutches clamp on my little snoot. 'Ha! I got your nose' I thought happily, and was even more delighted when I got my system to also congratulate me in its very own warm way.

'Hahaha! The great I strike again!' I couldn't help but rejoice. The skills were great, not only did they develop fast but the description gave me a clear way of the path to follow, with it, I would develop rapidly. 'I could even become ambidextrous' I realized in delight.
That was wonderful! I would grow to become the strongest and fastest hunter Remnant had ever seen, and my training had already begun right in my crib! Surrounded by the corpses of my fellow abducted brothers and sisters in a basement… where people conducted human experiment on us…
…
'Shit.'
The high I experimented instantly shattered…
