Mythra swings her blade over her shoulder. "Well? At least make this interesting for me," Joker clutches his mask, staring at the Enforcer before shouting "Arsène!" Again rising from a blue blaze, the Persona manifests. Joker rushes down Mythra with a knife and gun in hand rather swiftly as Arsène sends an Eiha to cover Joker's approach. Kirby runs forward as fast as his little feet take him behind Joker. "Cute," Mythra smirks. She deflects the Eiha by bringing down the Aegis Sword and then parries Joker's attack in one lightning-swift motion. Backflipping with the momentum of the parry, Joker fires at Mythra, who evades each bullet in a swift blue blur effortlessly. "Is that really the best you can do?" Kirby finally makes it close to Mythra only to get kicked away into a stony pillar like a soccer ball.
Mythra yawns. "Alright, time to finish up, I guess." In what seems like an instant, Mythra teleports behind Joker and slashes him twice before doing the same to Kirby, sending them crashing into each other. With a final Photon Edge, Mythra dashes forward, slashing through both Kirby and Joker at the same time. Arsène dissipates into smoke. She turns back to look at the two, surprised to see Kirby still standing.
"Hmph. You just don't know when to quit, do you, little guy?"
"Poyo." Kirby squeaks, nudging the unconscious Joker laying beside him. Still alive, but looking worse for wear. Kirby turns to look at Mythra, an upset look on his pink, pudgy face. Kirby begins to open his mouth wide as wind becomes furiously inhaled, slowly dragging Mythra forward. 'Wh-What?! What's happening?" Suddenly, the Aegis Sword is forced free of Mythra's grip and enters Kirby's open mouth, promptly being swallowed. Blonde hair akin to Mythra's begins to materialize on Kirby's head, strange crown included. In his hand, a smaller version of the Aegis Sword forms.
"Nice trick, but it doesn't change anything." Mythra holds out a hand as the Aegis Sword reforms. She dashes forward and brings the sword down on Kirby, only to have it be halted by it's smaller version. Her surprise left her guard down as Kirby jumped up, uppercutting Mythra with his blade, initiating a flurry of slashes while squeaking "Lightning Buster!" Mythra is sent rolling back with the force of the final slash, struggling to regain her footing.
In imitation of Mythra's earlier Photon Edge, Kirby teleports behind Mythra and sends her flying with a powerful kick, repeatedly warping and kicking several times before slamming her into the ground, knocking her out of commission. Kirby's mini Aegis Sword and blonde hair disappear as he runs forward to check on Joker. As she groans in pain on the floor, the purple miasma surrounding Mythra fades and the suffocating aura along with it. Kirby waits until Joker wakes up, staring down Mythra's body.
The stars dot the night sky, illuminating the strange ruins. Kirby ended up falling fast asleep, and so Joker woke up before him. For some reason, he feels this comforting warmth… a campfire. He looks up, seeing a strange woman with red hair and an outfit to rival that of… Mythra. Where is she?
Joker stands up quickly, raring to fight, but he clutches his stomach and kneels back down, wincing from pain. "You still need to rest. Don't worry, I'll make sure nobody harms you," says the woman in a soft, soothing voice. She sounded like Mythra, and yet… not. Regardless, she was right, Joker was still in too much pain to move. He notices bandages around his waist. Did she do that?
Suddenly, his world dims, and Joker collapses once more.
