Hello readers, I am back with the fourth chapter.
This plot twist takes place in the 37th manga chapter. Its title gives it away, but that's okay! I must warn you it is very, very, dark humored.
Tanjiro struggled in an intense battle against the spider demon Rui.
Rui sent another flurry of webs at the demon slayer in front of him.
"Breath of Water, First Form: Water Surface Slash!"
Snap.
The string cut the sword in two. But it really should have been the other way around.
The moment the sword split, a deafening alarm went off:
Beep! Beep! Beep! Broken sword alert!
Then the swordsmith Haganezuka came out of nowhere. He was armed with a bunch of knives and a large machine gun.
"YOU DARE BREAK MY SWORD?" He screamed.
"Oh, another human," Rui noted in a bored tone.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOUUUUUUUUUUU!" Haganezuka raised a knife.
"Eep! Please don't kill me! I don't want to die yet!" Tanjiro cowered away. "Wait! Who's 'you'? Do you mean me or the demon?"
"Hmmm..." The raging swordsmith lowered the knife. Then he screamed, "Both of you!"
"I didn't do anything to your sword, this idiot here just is too weak to cut a string," Rui lied.
"So it's Tanjiro I have to kill! Tanjiro, prepare to die!"
"Yes," Rui grinned. "Kill him, not me,"
"But I'm the good guy here!" Tanjiro protested.
Haganezuka ignored him and loaded his machine gun. "Prepare yourself, kid,"
"Just shoot him already!" Rui was starting to get impatient. "I have other humans to kill,"
"Hold on, we're in Japan!" Tanjiro said. "Guns are illegal here!"
"Who cares?" Haganezuka shot back. "The Demon Slaying Corps isn't government-approved either, and you're part of them, so you have no right to criticize!"
"Fire away!" Rui cackled.
Boom boom boom boom boom!
"These humans are so gullible," Rui snickered.
Haganezuka turned to the demon. "You're next!"
"Wait what?!"
