Cody's POV- well it was official nobody wanted me here, I was unwanted I felt like I was adopted, I was a few minutes to running away, but that's when dad came, I knew that he would cheer me up.
As dad walked inside, I hugged him, he hugged me back I felt warm around him, he let me go as I went to grab my baseball and glove
Cody: hey dad can you play catch with me please
Charlie: sorry Cody but I got some paperwork work to do
Cody: aww (looks down)
Charlie: but don't worry I promise we'll do something together tomorrow
Cody: ok,
I walked inside my room I decided to skip dinner and sleep in early
Charlie's POV- as I was doing some paperwork, I heard some noise I went to go see what it was and I saw graham kade and Dani playing some basketball, it made me smile, seeing how they always got along as kids, just then i heard Dani calling my name.
Dani: hey dad
Charlie: hey
Dani: you wanna play
Now I no I promise Cody but I couldn't resist, I went downstairs to join them.
Cody's POV- I laid asleep for a few minutes disappointed, thinking how can this get any worse then it did, I heard laughing, I got up to see what was that noise, but I looked what I saw shattered my heart, it was dad playing with graham, kade and Dani. He didn't have time form me but he had time for the others, that's when it made me realize
Cody: I'm not wanted here anymore (sobbing)
I went to my room and cried on my pillow, l looked up at my family's picture frame, I wanted to cause no one wants me around, the words kade told me repeated in my head over and over. I soon not mixed emotions, I was upset at graham for taking me seriously, I was scared of Dani for yelling at me , I was sad cause kade made feel like I shouldn't be here and I was mad at my dad for not wanting to spend time with me.
Cody: grr
Shatter
I threw the picture frame at the door and it shattered, if they wanted me gone then I'm gone, I grabbed my backpack and started packing some clothes, if I'm not wanted here then I'll go, I was running away, I took out a paper and wore a letter to everyone I'm sure they don't mind if I leave, I'm pretty sure they'll be happy. I grabbed my backpack, looked at the picture frame of mom and kiss her goodbye
Cody: good bye mom
I climbed down the window, and walked into the woods, I didn't know where I was going, all I know is that I'm going to be far away from home
No one's POV- after a fun game of one on one chief Charlie walk upstairs to finish his work when he passed by Cody's room, he know he probably hurt him by putting him down, but he was going to apologize to him of it, he goes to the door fist about ready to knock when something inside him was telling him it was a bad idea, but his heart told him to do it, he felt like Cody didn't wanted to talk and just wants to sleep.
