Chapter 3: Quarantine Prison Zone
As SNT cried her heart out, she heard a noise on the other side of the room, an automatic door opened up and Void entered the room where SNT was sitting and crying.
Void approached SNT and bent down on his knees to comfort her.
"Greetings miss, I notice you're finally awake." Said Void with a smile as he looked at SNT,
SNT stopped sobbing and looked at the blue robot who looked very similar to the ones who captured her.
"Where am I?! What's going on?! Who are you? Can you please let me go?!" Cried SNT as she was panicking in front of Void.
Void put his finger on her lips and comforted her, "Shhhh shhh, hush little chimera, I'm here to rescue you."
"Can you at least tell me where I am?" Asked SNT as she got back up to her feet slowly and looked down at her body as it was glowing green from head to toe.
"You are in quarantine, you have been infected by the infamous love letter worm, the love letter worm can cause computers to become sick in love to the point that they can destroy themselves by deleting important system data which renders computers to be destroyed. As a member of the anti-virus movement, it's my job to save you from destruction." Said the robot.
"But I don't understand, love is a powerful emotion, how can love become destructive?" Asked SNT looking confused.
"In your case against the infamous love letter worm, tis a worm that causes victims to become disorderly sick; sick in love, that is. When the worm bit you, you became what we like to call a yandere. It means a person who is lovable and affectionate for others until their romance becomes destructive enough to harm others through violence and insanity." The robot explained.
"But how can a worm force me to fall in love against my will?! This isn't right!" Shouted SNT in anger.
"Viruses are programmed to harm victims and their computers by damaging programs, deleting files or formatting hard drives, even harmless viruses can disrupt computers by slow downs, sapping computer memory and causing blue screens resulting in death of computers and emotional scarring on victims."
"So let me get this straight, if a virus infected me, how long will I be trapped in quarantine?" Asked SNT as she approached Void and held onto him.
"Until you are finally disinfected my dear." Said Void as he held onto SNT by her waist while lowering his head to show her that her body was glowing green as it was being disinfected.
Upon hearing this, SNT began to cry as her anger grew exponentially, she curled into a ball and tried her homing attack on Void, but every time she tried her homing attack on Void, he always dodged every attack by jumping over her or side stepping to move out of the way.
Other times, when she tried homing attack, the shackles would pull her back down to the wall that was holding her, thus causing her to crash down to the wall behind her.
"LET ME GO! LET ME GO, YOU FILTH! YOU CAN'T KEEP ME LOCKED IN HERE LIKE AN ANIMAL FOREVER!" Shouted SNT as she was filled with anger towards Void.
Suddenly, SNT flew up as high as she could, she then tried to drop kick Void Ranger, but upon landing, Void stepped to the side again and grabbed her by her waist as he spun her around the room nice and slowly to calm her down.
"Wow! For a feisty little chimera like you, you sure have beautiful moves." Said Void as he was admiring SNT's every move. "But what is your name miss?" Asked Void.
"My name is SNT." SNT said as she looked at Void frustrated as she grew tired of attacking him.
Void bent down on one knee and held out his hand towards her, "My name is Void Ranger, I'm a new member of the United Anti-Virus Movement."
SNT hesitated at first but then proceeded to take his hand and he pulled her back up to her feet.
"SNT, you are a beautiful woman, tis also a shame that we are forced to meet like this, but trust me. Disinfection is for the best of both of us." Said Void as he held SNT by her waist again and began to move left to right repetitively.
"How will disinfection benefit the both of us?" Asked SNT as she followed Void's feet moving left and right while holding his hand and putting her other hand on his chest.
"Disinfection is the only way to cure victims and computers of virus infections, believe me, I've been learning cyber security ever since I was small." Said Void as he smiled at her.
Soon enough, both Void and SNT were dancing together.
They continued dancing around the room left and right repeatedly, as they danced together, they suddenly locked eyes and blushed towards each other.
As they continued to dance, the green glow around her body slowly began to disappear which indicated to Void that SNT was nearing the end of disinfection.
But Void wasn't gonna let the disinfection get in the way of spending as much time with SNT as much as possible. Soon enough, Void and SNT began to spin around the room while moving left and right faster and faster.
"Wow Void, you're a very good dancer." Said SNT looking very surprised as she blushed at Void.
Void smirked, "Just you wait SNT, this promises to be the finale." Said Void as he spun her around the room faster and faster to gain momentum. All of a sudden, Void finally lets go of SNT and the momentum they built together caused SNT to perform a triple axle in mid air.
Void catches her as she lands, and upon landing, she immediately goes for a kiss on Void's lips as they hold each other as their spinning slows down until finally coming to a stop.
Void is shocked to discover what SNT has done.
"Miss SNT, why did you kiss me?!" Asked Void who was shocked at what just happened.
SNT smiled and blushed and looked into his eyes responding,
"I want to thank you for saving my life."
"I'm always happy to help." Said Void ranger as he smiled back at SNT while blushing.
Void then noticed that SNT's green glow was finally gone as a robotic voice from the intercom sounded an announcement within the cell,
"Disinfection complete, love letter worm deleted."
"SNT, you're cured!" Shouted Void looking at SNT happily and excited for her as he held her hands.
"Yes! Thank you for everything Void!" Shouted SNT who was happy the disinfection process was finally over,
But SNT still needed to find a way to make her escape, she looked deep into Void's eyes for a few seconds and suddenly asked him,
"Oh wow Void, you really are romantic, aren't you?" Asked SNT blushing at Void.
"I'd say the same thing about you SNT" Said Void as he took out a key from his pocket and removed the shackles off SNT's ankle.
Suddenly without warning, SNT boosted out of the room and attempted to make her escape out of the U.A.V building.
"SNT wait!" Shouted Void as he was shocked to witness SNT making her escape, even after they had a romantic dance together earlier.
As SNT was trying to make her way towards the exit, she noticed that she was on the 6th floor of the building. She had to slide down a couple flights of stairs to reach the exit. Everywhere SNT looked, the building was nothing more than an office building surrounded by binary codes, computers and anti-virus members and programmers trying to disinfect as many computers from viruses as much as possible.
Funny enough, the guards patrolling the building didn't bother to chase SNT or go after her. All they did was move to the side for SNT to boost through the doors in order to progress to the next room.
"So long suckers!" SNT Snarked as she was very close to reaching what she thought was the exit. Before even setting foot towards the door, she noticed a large file cabinet glowing nearby. She opened up the file cabinet and found a piece of paper containing system files for programming.
SNT FOUND A SYSTEM FILE
"What's this? A piece of junk?" SNT snarked she then took a look at the paper which had a language that she couldn't understand. At first, she thought about throwing the file into the nearest recycling bin, but eventually decided to keep it as it could be very helpful in the near future, providing if she can find someone who can decipher the language. "I think I'll keep it with me just in case." She folded the piece of paper in her pocket and returned to the building.
She approached what she thought was the exit door, unfortunately, it wasn't the exit door. It was a door leading into the auditorium where the U.A.V usually have their company meetings.
All the programmers and other employees of the U.A.V were present within the audience. On stage, Void and the muscular robot who looked like a power ranger; Minister Norton were waiting for SNT's arrival.
"Ah... miss SNT, we've been expecting you." Said Minister Norton.
"Who are you?" Asked SNT looking shocked as she was observing the large blue sound stage.
"I am Minister Norton, overseer of the entire United Anti-Virus Movement. We anti-viruses from all walks of life have first formed this united anti-virus movement as a demonstration against viruses and malware since the dawn of computing. And while we later came to a global agreement to merge all anti-virus companies within this movement to form one ultimate anti-virus company, we of the U.A.V have been protecting computers for generations." Said Minister Norton as he bows down to SNT.
"Yeah, yeah, i'm SNT. It's very nice to meet you. Now please excuse me but I must leave." Said SNT looking annoyed as she was ready to leave the room.
"SNT wait!" Shouted Void as he stretched his arm out for her in desperation as he realized that if she left now, he would lose a valuable ally that can assist him in his quest.
"What's the matter Void?" Asked SNT as she stopped in her tracks to look up to Void and Norton,
"I'm afraid you cannot leave, miss SNT, for you see... You and Void have a connection together." Said Minister Norton as he looked at both Void and SNT.
"What?" Said SNT as she looked confused, she saw this meeting as a waste of time.
"Look Norton, I love to chat and all, but I have somewhere to be." Said SNT as she tried again to leave the room.
Suddenly, Norton took out a remote from his belt and pressed a button causing security system to arm and lock all doors and windows, and the hallways to have their red alarm beams activated.
"Huh? What gives?!" Shouted SNT with an angry look.
"There is no escape miss SNT, if you fail to co-operate with the U.A.V, I'm afraid you may never see your friend again." Said Minister Norton as he bowed down in shame with his eyes closed.
SNT suddenly heard a terrified voice, from the intercoms revealing a woman who looked like she was in grave danger as she cried out,
"HELP ME! PLEASE HELP ME! HELP!" Shouted a familiar voice that only SNT could recognize. Finally realizing who it was, SNT backed away towards a wall looking terrified,
"SAKI CHAO?!" Shouted SNT, "Where is she?! What did you do to her?!"
"If you wish to know where your chao friend is, you must join forces with my student Void Ranger. For you see, it appears as if you're both chasing the same enemy." Said Minister Norton as he puts his hand on Void's shoulder.
"Please SNT, if you can help me save the computers, I'll help you rescue your friend." Said Void looking at SNT as he begged on his knees.
"No dice!" Shouted SNT, looking as angry as ever, "I will never join you!" SNT got to a fighting stance in front of Minister Norton, but Norton didn't budge.
As the confrontation escalated, a mysterious intruder who looked like a muscular power ranger but wearing a black cloak was crawling through the ceiling vents when he came across a vent door. As he opened the door to observe his surroundings, he began to set his sights on his main target... Void Ranger. There was something about Void Ranger that drove him the wrong way. Without hesitating, the intruder threw a smoke bomb causing smoke to emerge onto the stage.
Suddenly, without warning, the suspiciously cloaked ranger ran onto the smoking stage armed with a sword and he swung it towards Void like a baseball bat, slashing his chest instantly. After the attack, the mysterious figure fled through the vent door near the entrance that was located to the side wall.
After the smoke on the stage lifted, Void looked at SNT who was looking terrified as she stuck her finger out to point down at his chest where he noticed binary coded blood spilling down on his hand. Without warning, Void fainted and collapsed onto the stage. "Help me!" Shouted Void with the last of his energy as he collapsed and became unresponsive.
"Oh no, VOID!" Shouted SNT. Shocked and outraged, SNT and the anti-viruses scooped up Void Ranger and rushed him into the hospital where he was to be treated for his injuries.
Both Norton and SNT brought Void into one of the quarantine cells on the 6th floor where they strapped him onto a bed and another blue muscular robot resembling a power ranger named MalwareBytes attached a defibrillator on him.
"What the hell happened?!" Shouted doctor MalwareBytes, as he plugged the defibrillator to the socket.
"I wish I knew MalwareBytes, he simply just collapsed on stage." Said Norton who was unaware that the mysterious suspect had vented. He put the electrical patches on Void's chest and turned on the heart monitor which immediately flat lined.
MalwareBytes then suddenly began to perform CPR on Void as the defibrillator began to charge up it's power, as MalwareBytes performed CPR, Norton set up the joules to 80 and pressed the charge button.
"MalwareBytes, SNT, STAND BACK!" Demanded Norton as the trio stood away from Void to apply the first shock.
"Doctor MalwareBytes, Are you ready?... CLEAR!" Shouted Norton as MalwareBytes used the electrical paddles which looked like clothing irons to zap Void's heart.
Following the first shock, the heart monitor gave only 2 slow beeps before flat lining once again. Void unfortunately was unresponsive during the first shock. So Norton decided to increase the joules to 110 as MalwareBytes performed CPR once again.
SNT looked at Void frightened and sad as she put her hands together and prayed for Void to survive the incident. "Void, please hear my prayer, I know you'll get through this, you just have to survive!" SNT thought to herself as she shed a tear in her eye.
Norton pressed the charge button once again. "Doctor MalwareBytes, Stay back!... AND!... CLEAR!" MalwareBytes used the electrical paddles which looked like clothing irons to zap Void's heart once again.
Success at last, the heart monitor beeped at normal speed as the second shock brought Void's heart rate back to 120 beats per minute, Void was breathing normally once again.
"Void! You're alive!" Cried SNT as she ran to embrace Void as he was asleep even after the defibrillation.
"Oh Void, i'm so glad you're alive! I promise you Void, you saved me before, and now I will save you!" Said SNT as she kissed Void's cheek while Minister Norton put his hand on SNT's shoulder.
"Let him rest, he needs time to recover." Said Norton as he and SNT walked away, leaving MalwareBytes to watch over him.
Upon leaving, as Norton opened the door to leave the room, another muscular power ranger was waiting for Norton just outside the hospital room where Void underwent the defibrillation.
"Minister AVG, given the current circumstances, I cannot stress you enough to how important this situation is. But from now on, I need you to record all the progress of Void Ranger in his log reports, do I make myself clear?" Asked Norton as he was entrusting the other minister with his life.
"Void Ranger, you mean that blue little s*t who is a pathetic joke to this industry? He doesn't care and he's too self centered!" Shouted AVG.
"Hey! Don't be rude to Void Ranger! He almost died back there!" SNT snapped.
"Minister AVG, That is your mentor speaking... Keep watch over our little Void, and stand by for further orders" Responded Norton as he and SNT left the hallway to return to the auditorium.
