Shaun finally caught up with Lea, who was trying to escape, "Lea, your alright. Everything is ok."

Lea looked around and saw a knife from a food try, "stay away"

He slowly approached her, while Claire began sneaking up behind her with a sedative, "Lea, don't be scared. Your in the hospital. You had an operation. It's me, Shaun, your boyfriend"

"I don't have a boyfriend" she said shaking, with tears forming in her eyes, then she said "ouch" when Claire put the sedative in her arm.

"What…did…" Lea said as she passed out as Shaun grabbed her before falling to the floor and picked her up and carried her back to her room.

A few minutes later, Claire came by the room, as Shaun approached her, "what is wrong with her? Why doesn't she remember me?"

Claire looked down at her chart, "during surgery, I made a mistake. When we took the tumor out, it was larger than expected. It went from her neck to the memory part of her brain."

"What part?"

"Short. So, there is a chance she will remember. But just give her some time."

"I will…I won't push her"

"Good. Why don't you go home and get rest, while she is resting. When she wakes up will keep her calm, but we'll give her a series of questions, to see what she remembers."

Shaun nodded, grabbed his jacket, and went home.

When he finally got home, he called Glassman to check on Maddie, but give him the report on Lea.

"Maddie is doing fine, but I am terribly sorry about Lea. But don't give up, she will remember you."

Shaun didn't know what to say, and just hanged up the phone, and decided to have a shower.

As he was showering, he remembered when Lea, suggested sex in the shower, and because of that, they conceived Maddie. This brought a smile to his face, as he turned off the water, grabbed his towel and turned off his phone timer and went to bed.

It was 6:30, the next morning, as Shaun looked at his phone, and saw one text from Claire,

She woke up, but doesn't remember much from the past 6 years. She believes its 2016. We'll keep you updated.

Claire

Shaun's begins clenching his hands together and crying, but keeps remembering the words, don't give up.

It was a few hours later, Shaun heads to the hospital, and heads to Lea's room, and hears yelling come and sees her parents were there.

"What are you talking about, mom?"

They see Shaun, "oh, thank goodness you're here" her mom said

"There's that man, again. What is he doing here?"

"I'm Dr. Shaun Murphy. I'm a surgeon here"

"What is wrong with you? Why are you like that?"

"I'm autistic. I want to apologize for scaring you yesterday and wonder how are you feeling?"

"Thanks, sorry I threatening you, yesterday, was just scared. I am ok, but still confused about things."

"Ok, did Dr. Brown ask you series questions?"

"Yes, she did, but don't remember what she asked?"

"Well, I will ask them again, what is your name?"

"Lea Dilallo"

"Good, what year were you born?"

"August 9th, 1991"

"Where are you right now?"

"At the hospital"

He continues on with the questions, and asks her, "do you know who this baby girl is?"

Lea looks at a picture of Maddie on Shaun's phone, "no, but I feel like I'm suppose too"

"Good, very good"

"Who is she? Is she important to me?"

"Yes, but we'll let you rest for a bit"

"Thanks"

Shaun leaves the room, with a smile and heads to see Claire and Park, "Shaun, what is is?"

"She sort of remembers Maddie. I showed her a picture of her to Lea and she said she doesn't know her, but feels like she should."

"That's great, Shaun. Let her rest for the day and remember don't give up"

Shaun nodded and went to tell Glassman the news.
