Chapter 4: Return of Ghirahim
(Inside Ganondorf's new tower)
Link, Ty, Aryll, Sly, Shazza, Maurie, and Fluffy arrived at this tower Ganondorf had constructed in the Australian Mountain.
Fluffy- Finally! We're out of the snow and cold!
Fluffy begins pulling off all the extra gear she had on to keep her body from the cold.
Aryll- Wow! That's a lot of winter clothing.
Karlos' voice- I'm sure you've must've heard that traitorous thorny devil mentioned the freezer isle isn't the place for someone cold blooded.
After hearing Karlos' voice, everyone turns towards the stairway and saw Karlos sitting on a hover chair at the top of the second floor.
Karlos- I had a feeling those blue tongues wouldn't stop you all from reaching this place. You heroes always are persistent like that.
Fluffy- Please tell me you don't plan to try and take us on by yourself?
Karlos- Come on! I'm not that stupid. I'm here to set this ambush on you.
Suddenly, Link, Ty, and the others found themselves completely surrounded by Ganondorf's Moblins and Boss Cass' frill neck lizards. The Moblins fired arrows while the frill necks threw boomerangs. Luckily, Aryll created a Nayru's Love barrier to block at attacks.
Karlos- Shit. Forgotten about Link's younger sister wielding the magic of Hyrule's goddess. This might be more difficult than originally expected.
Link- We don't have time for this! We still need to get to Ganondorf and get that spell page back!
Maurie- Then you should go on then!
Sly- Yeah, we can handle these fools while you and Ty deal with Ganondorf and Boss Cass!
Ty- And leave you by yourselves?
Shazza- We'll be fine, possum. We've handled worse before on our own.
Ty- Just stay safe, Shazza.
Then Link wrapped one are around Ty and pointed his Clawshot with his other hand as he pointed it towards the upper floors of the tower. As Link and Ty began being pulled up, Karlos noticed and his hover chair pulled out a laser aimed at them.
Karlos- And where do you two think your going? Can't let you take a shortcut like that.
But before Karlos could fire, a rocket was launched at him from Fluffy's rocket launcher. Karlos barely dodged it, but the laser on his hover chair was blown to pieces.
Fluffy- Sorry Karlos, but I'll be your opponent for this fight.
Karlos- Still can't believe you sided with those mammals after you were brought back to life. Even after all Boss Cass did for you before you died.
Fluffy- He was the one who killed me the first time I died.
Karlos- That was by accident and he was still the one who brought you back in that story in season 3.
Fluffy- And while I was dead, I spoke with a gray rat who showed me the errors of my ways just before I was brought back.
Karlos- Gray…SIMBA! You must've spoken with the Tasmanian tiger from the team Marco Mario put together!
Fluffy- Maybe I did, but let's not drag this any longer.
Karlos- Fine. I'll show you what happens to those that betray Boss Cass!
(At the top of the tower)
Link had kicked down door to the room as him and Ty enter to find Ganondorf and Boss Cass.
Ty- What that really necessary, mate?
Link- Trust me, Ganondorf is more destructive in situations like that.
Boss Cass- The orange rat and the green Christmas elf. You got passed Karlos sooner than expected. But I can tell you that you won't foil our plan this time.
Ganondorf- (Grunts)
Boss Cass- Uh…I mean your plan, Ganondorf!
Ty- Usually not your style to work under another, Boss Cass.
Boss Cass- Blame it on the swordsman! Because he got in my way in my other plan, I had to make do with what Ganondorf had.
Ganondorf- And with how much more annoying you've all been since the Super Mario Brothers' Team had been formed, I couldn't say no when I realized I'd have to fight both of you together.
Link- Tell me, Ganondorf…have you figured out why that spell you stole was labeled as forbidden?
Ganondorf- Don't really care. With the Dead Possum, I can bring an army from the dead to obey my command!
Link- Fine, let me tell you why the Lord of the Universe forbid this spell. For each soul you bring back from the dead, you have to make a living sacrifice as the soul brought back inhabits the body of the one sacrificed. In short, a life for another life. And to make things worse, their condition will be set to the condition of the body, despite the fact the body changes to match the appearance of the soul brought back.
Boss Cass- What the?! Living sacrifices?!
Ganondorf- That can't be right! I know this is what Tabuu uses this spell to resurrect several of his troops back, like Vaati, after you cut his head off!
Link- Kyrin and Arkness told us.
Ty- And clearly, that's a price Tabuu doesn't mind paying. Though the only question is how Tabuu got those living sacrifices to begin with, since he's supposed to not be able to physically leave Subspace, mate.
Ganondorf- You think we'll fall for a trick like that?
Boss Cass- Yeah, you could just be trying to trick us to giving back the instructions for this spell before we raise the dead!
Ty- We weren't. We really were telling you what Kyrin said to us. But if you insist on a fight…
Then Ty pulls out his boomerangs and readies himself for a fight.
Ty- I'll be more than happy to give you another ass kicking, Boss Cass!
Link also drew the Master Sword and his shield as he also readied himself for a fight.
Link- But don't say we didn't warn you when we do get to the part in this story when you figure out we were telling the truth about the living sacrifice required for the Dead Possum spell.
A hover scooter appeared behind Boss Cass as he jumps on board and flies up higher in the room. Boss Cass fired a laser from that hover scooter, but Link's shield managed to block it. However, Ganondorf got in close and attempted to strike with his warlock punch. Luckily, Link managed to duck and roll under Ganondorf's fist. But before Ganondorf could attack again, Ty's Freezerangs hit Ganondorf and froze him solid. However, the ice didn't hold Ganondorf for long as Ganondorf created black flames in both of his palms to melt the ice. Link was about to swing his sword at Ganondorf, but then a laser was shot at Link and knocked him to the ground.
Boss Cass- CAWHAHAHAHA! Guess you forgot you're fighting me as well!
Then the sides of the hover scooter opened up and a bunch of missiles were launched and heading for Link and Ty from all directions. Fortunately, a red energy barrier was created to block all those missiles. Turns out Ty activated the Sacred Bunyip Spiritual power and used it to create that barrier.
Ty- That was a close one, mate!
Ganondorf- Shit! I forgot about that power from the spirit world he acquired from the Bunyips!
Boss Cass- Not to worry. I have another round of those heat seekers.
Then more missiles were launched from Boss Cass' hover scooter and aimed them at Ty and Link again.
Ty- Link, this Bunyip power might be able to keep us safe, but it drains me every time I use it. I might be too drained if I try to block all those at once again!
Link- Then I hope you don't mind if I take a play from your book.
Then Link pulls out his Gale Boomerang, locked on to all the missiles, and used the boomerang to knock all the missiles away from them.
Boss Cass- The swordsman can also use a boomerang like Ty can?
Ganondorf- Link is specialized in several different weapons. Bow and arrow, Morningstar, metal hammers, and even a slingshot. Link is far from a one trick pony. One of the reasons why he's been such pain to dispose of.
Ganondorf fired a bolt of black lightning, but Link and Ty dodged.
(Empty void)
Ghirahim was still curled in a ball that was floating in this void. Suddenly, he felt a signal of dark power and opened his eyes.
Ghirahim- That dark magic…that has to be Master Demise! YES! I've finally found you! And it seems as though you're in a battle. Must be the Wolf! Fear not my master…your lost servant, Ghirahim has finally found his way back home! Hehehehe…
(Back at the tower)
Link's Master Sword clashed with a black sword Ganondorf was using, but neither side was giving in. At the same time Boss Cass was firing a laser at Ty from his hover scooter while Ty still had the red aura surrounding his body from the Sacred Bunyip power still active. Ty dodged the laser attack and fired a beam with the energy at Boss Cass' hover scooter. Ty not only scored a direct hit, but the hover Scooter fell from the air and landed on Ganondorf. Knocking both Ganondorf and Boss Cass to the ground. But just when it seemed Link and Ty had this all wrapped up, a vortex opened up above them and a bright light was shot from it. The force of this sudden presence actually knocked Link and Ty across the room and to the wall on the other side of the room. But as the light faded and a cloud of smoke appeared in the room, Ganondorf and Boss Cass saw the silhouette of a of slender pale figure in the smoke cloud. In fact, it almost looked like it was bowing towards them. But as the smoke cleared, this figure became more recognizable.
Ghirahim- My master, Demise…it has taken me so long, regrettably…but your humble servant, Ghirahim, has finally returned at long last!
