Hey guys, I'm finally back with another chapter for this story! I apologize for the long wait, but things have been kinda hectic in my life the past few months and I only recently found time to start writing again. But I've updated all my other stories, so I can now focus on this one. I'll be posting two chapters in a row for this story before I move onto my other ones. This chapter will pick up where the previous one left off and will finally kick off the canon story. So, I hope you're all looking forward to that! That's all I wanted to say, so let's get to the fic!

(One Week Before U.A. University's Entrance Exam: Downtown Musutafu)

"Man, these past three years have really flown by, I can't believe I'm almost done with high school..." Izuku muttered to himself, staring down at his phone as he stepped through the sliding doors of a local convenience store. After exchanging a brief greeting with the cashier, Izuku replied to a text from Momo. "Okay, I just need to grab something to drink and a few snacks, then I need to rush over to Momo's house for our study session." Grabbing a handbasket, Izuku began to walk up and down the aisles filled with various types of junk food. "Let's see...Mina likes Pocky...for Kyoka, it's gotta be potato chips...if I remember right, Momo loves cookies..." After dropping the snacks into the basket and making his way into the refrigerated section, Izuku grabbed several cans of soda and juice. Making one last stop at a small section full of frozen goods, Izuku smiled as he opened the sliding door. "And of course, can't forget the mochi ice cream for Ochaco."

Hefting up his nearly overflowing handbasket, Izuku made his way over toward the cash register. Izuku chuckled nervously as the cashier eyed his large assortment of goodies with an annoyed look. Quickly explaining that he was meeting with a bunch of friends, Izuku reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. After bagging and paying for all his snacks, Izuku thanked the cashier and dashed out of the convenience store.

"Man, that cashier looked kind of irritated, I guess I did have a lot of stuff..." Izuku said as he stopped for a moment and looked down into his bags, double-checking to make sure he had everything he needed. "Okay, looks like I'm all-" Izuku was cut off when heard several screams coming from down the street. Instantly, Izuku's head snapped towards the shouts, and without any hesitation, he was bolting straight towards them. Dashing around a corner, Izuku spotted a crowd of people gathered across the street from a small bank. Approaching the closet person, Izuku tapped them on the shoulder. "Excuse me, what's going on here? I heard a bunch of people yelling."

"There's someone in there robbing that bank. The police have already been called...I just hope a hero gets here soon."

"A hero, huh?" Izuku trailed off, pulling out his phone to check what time it was. Slipping off his backpack, Izuku opened it and gazed down at his green face wrap. "I've still got thirty minutes before our study session." Just then, the entrance to the bank exploded open, and out rushed a large humanoid slime monster. Frantically scanning around, the slime villain took off running down the street, money falling out of his body. Everyone in the crowd in front of Izuku flinched in fear as the slime villain ran past them. Reaching into his backpack, Izuku pulled out his green face wrap. Placing the bags of snacks into his backpack, Izuku slipped it back on. Green electricity began to crackle off Izuku's body as he pulled up his hood and face wrap. "All Might is gonna be so mad at me, but I can't just stand by and do nothing."

"Catch me...if you can!" The slime villain howled out as he disappeared down a side street. "You'll never stop me!"

Activating his Full Cowling, Izuku used 20% and took off after the slime villain. Despite getting a head start, the slime villain was easy to follow because of the obvious trail he left behind. Izuku followed the path of slime and money for a few blocks, soon finding himself in an alleyway. Slowly slinking down the alley, Izuku was caught off guard when he suddenly came to a dead end. Scanning around, Izuku saw that the trail he was following seemed to stop here. Stroking his chin, Izuku tried to figure out where the villain had gone. Then he saw it, a tiny gap in between two buildings, too small for any person to squeeze through. Stepping closer, Izuku pressed his face against the wall, gazing through the gap. His eyes widened when he saw the slime villain squeezing through the other end of the gap. Izuku knew he didn't have time to run all the way around the building, the villain would be long gone by then. Looking at the walls of the alley around him, Izuku saw that they were quite close together. Crouching down, Izuku launched towards the nearest wall, kicking off it and climbing higher into the air. Leaping from wall to wall, Izuku soon found himself on the roof. Dashing towards the edge of the rooftop, Izuku leaned over the edge and spotted the slime villain sprinting down the street.

"Damn, this guy is really moving, but he's not gonna get away..." Izuku said with a huff, before taking several steps away from the edge of the rooftop. After getting a running start, Izuku leaped off the roof and covered almost two blocks in a single bound. With a dull thud, Izuku came to a skidding stop in front of the slime villain. Dusting himself off, Izuku locked eyes with the slime monster. "Can you please just give up now? I'm kinda sick of chasing you around."

"A hero!? Fuck this!" The slime villain exclaimed as he whipped around and took off running towards a nearby park. "Hide! I need a body...to hide in! They won't...take me!"

"Oh no..." Izuku breathed out, seeing that there were several families with young children playing and relaxing within the park. "I have to keep him away from those innocent people!"

Without a second thought, Izuku chased after the slime villain, his heart pounding in his chest. If he failed here, people would get hurt and All Might would never forgive him, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself. Entering the park, Izuku began to panic when he briefly lost sight of the slime villain amongst the trees and vegetation. Izuku's entire body tensed when he heard a young girl's scream coming from nearby, close to a small playset. Sprinting towards the screams, Izuku gasped when he saw the slime villain towering over three people. One appeared to be a girl around his age, standing protectively in front of two smaller children.

"A medium-sized girl...and two small children...so many choices to hide in..." The slime villain said with a gurgling chuckle as he stalked towards his potential victims. Seeing the two children hide behind the older girl, a twisted smile spread across the slime villain's face. "Don't worry you three...I'll just be hijacking your bodies. It should only hurt for about 45 seconds, then it'll all be over."

"Onee-chan...I'm scared..." The younger girl said with tears in her eyes as she tightly gripped her older sister's pant leg. "Is he one of those villains you told us about?"

"Samidare...Satsuki...stay behind me..." The older girl said, holding out her arms to shield her siblings. "I'll keep you safe."

"You're all real heroes...I was hoping for a clean getaway, but things didn't go to plan..." The slime villain said as his body began to expand, surrounding all three of his victims. "No just be quiet and-"

"Oi! Get away from them!" Izuku exclaimed, sprinting towards the slime villain, his entire body crackling with green electricity. Raising his arm, Izuku formed a flicking gesture with his hand. "Keep the power down...I don't want to hurt those innocent people...40% should do it!" Focusing One for All's power into his hand, Izuku flicked his finger towards the slime villain. "Delaware Smash!" The power behind Izuku's flick created a beachball-sized blast of wind pressure. The slime villain's eyes widened in shock when he was hit in the chest by Izuku's attack. Rapidly swirling and digging itself into the villain, the ball of wind pressure exploded, causing the slime villain to burst into pieces. As the pieces of the slime villain began to rain down, Izuku released a shaky breath and lowered his arm. Seeing the older girl and her two siblings staring at him in surprise, Izuku smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "Hey guys, thank goodness I got here in time...are you three okay?"

Now that the situation had calmed down, Izuku finally got a good look at the girl. She had a relatively slender build and notably large hands. Her appearance was rather frog-like, with a very wide mouth, which dipped down a little in the middle just like that of a common frog. She had oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, her lower eyelashes were visibly pronounced. Her hair was a dark sea-green color and was also very long, reaching all the way to her waist with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She had two shoulder-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to each side.

The younger boy had black hair that obscured his right eye, which was dark green and half-closed, with a similar frog-like appearance to his older sister. He also had blush marks on his cheeks. The younger girl on the other hand had a tadpole-like appearance. She had large eyes, similar to her older sister's, with three upper eyelashes and notably small eyebrows. She had light-tanned skin and her mouth was set in a pout-like shape. Her hair was also dark green and was worn in low pigtails.

"Were fine ribbit...thanks for saving us..." The girl said as she stared at Izuku, her unblinking eyes unsettling him a little bit. "I was taking my little brother and sister to play at the park when that creep jumped at us out of nowhere ribbit." Pressing a finger to her chin, the girl cocked her head slightly. "Are you a new hero? I've never seen you around this area."

"Uh...I'm not exactly a hero yet..." Izuku admitted with a nervous chuckle, pulling down his hood and face wrap. "I'll be taking the entrance exam for U.A. University in a week. Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya by the way."

"I'm Tsuyu Asui..." The now named Tsuyu said as she put a hand on both of her sibling's shoulders. "And these are Samidare and Satsuki..." Taking a step closer, Tsuyu stared directly at Izuku, her eyes full of curiosity. "Why'd you help us? You could get in a lot of trouble for operating without a hero license."

"You're not gonna turn me in are you?" Izuku joked with a small smile, feeling a little uneasy as Tsuyu continued to stare at him, waiting for an answer. Releasing a light sigh, Izuku averted his gaze and scratched his chin. "I know I could get in trouble...but when I have powers like these...I can't just stand in the background when other people are in trouble. Do you understand, Asui-san?"

"Just call me Tsuyu...I don't like when people act all formal..." Tsuyu said as she turned back towards her siblings, guiding them back towards the play area. "And I do understand you Midoriya-chan, just be careful in future. Thank you again for helping us ribbit." As Tsuyu walked away, she spared one last glance back at Izuku, watching as he started cleaning up the slime villain's scattered pieces. "U.A. University huh? I'll see you in a week then, Midoriya-chan."

"God damn it, this guy got everywhere..." Izuku cursed underneath his breath, scooping up a handful of slime. Scanning around, Izuku groaned in frustration when he saw pieces of slime all over the area. Dropping the clump of slime, Izuku wiped off his hand and pulled out his phone. "Better call All Might...I'm gonna need some help...and some jars or something."

(Thirty Minutes Later)

"I can't believe you..." All Might muttered as he shook his head and twisted the lid onto a jar containing half of the slime villain's body. "How irresponsible can you be?"

"You've been repeating yourself for the past twenty minutes." Izuku said in a slightly disheartened tone, before handing All Might a second filled jar. He knew that All Might would be upset with him, but nothing made him feel worse than when his mentor was disappointed in him. "I'm sorry All Might...but I couldn't just stand back and wait for another hero to show up..." Tightly balling his fists, Izuku's eyes filled with defiant courage. "I did end up saving three people, that has to mean something!"

"Listen young Midoriya, you seem to be misunderstanding why I'm upset with you..." All Might said as he released a heavy sigh and placed the jars into the side pockets of his pants. Spotting a nearby bench, All Might walked over and patted the seat next to him. "Come...sit down." Izuku stared at All Might for a moment, before he walked over and took a seat next to him. A gentle breeze blew past them as All Might paused for a moment, leaning forward and clasping his hands. "Young Midoriya, I couldn't be happier that you saved those people and stopped a villain. That righteous sense of justice you have and your will to jump in and save people without any hesitation...those are the reasons I chose you to be my successor and inherit One for All."

"Then...why are you mad at me?" Izuku asked, fidgeting slightly as he stared down at his lap. "I just wanted to do what an amazing hero like you would do."

"And I want you to be a better hero than I ever was...and I truly believe you can be..." All Might said as he reached over and placed a comforting hand on Izuku's shoulder. "But you won't be able to achieve your dream if you don't even make it to the starting line. If you're caught operating without a hero license, they won't just ban you from entering U.A. University or any hero course for that matter...but you may also be sent to prison."

"But I've only done something like this once!" Izuku exclaimed in a worried tone, whipping around to face All Might. "Can't I just be let off with a warning!?"

"Once you say?" All Might repeated as he released another sigh and dug into his pocket. After a few moments, All Might pulled out his phone and began to scroll through it. Finding what he was looking for, All Might showed the phone to Izuku. Quirking an eyebrow at first, Izuku's eyes slowly widened when he saw a bulleted and detailed list of all the crimes he had stopped over the past three years. "This looks like a lot more than just 'once' young Midoriya."

"H-How did you find out about all those..." Izuku asked, audibly gulping when he saw the stern look in All Might's piercing blue eyes. "I-I was sure I was careful."

"You've been lucky for three very specific reasons, young Midoriya..." All Might explained as he held up three fingers. "One, no one has caught your actions on camera yet. Two, no innocent people have been hurt in any of your rescues..." Leaning in closer, All Might's eyes narrowed slightly. "Three, I'm quite close with many people on the police force and so far I've been able to convince them to look the other way. But I can't do that much longer, if you keep this up, the police will come after you."

"I...I understand..." Izuku said in a defeated tone, hanging his head and twiddling his thumbs. "I really am sorry, All Might. You're always looking out for me and all I seem to do is be a burden to you."

"Don't say that, young Midoriya...I haven't once thought you were a burden. I've truly enjoyed all the time we've spent together over the years and I know you'll become a truly amazing hero." All Might said with a small smile as he stood up and patted Izuku's head. "Just stay out of trouble for one more week, then you'll be on your way to officially becoming a hero."

"All Might, thank-" Izuku was cut off when his phone suddenly started ringing. Reaching into his pocket, Izuku pulled out his cellphone and saw that Ochaco was calling him. "Huh...what could Ochaco..." Izuku trailed off as spotted his backpack out of the corner of his eye, realizing what was still inside it. "Oh shit! I'm so late!" Smacking the phone against his forehead several times, Izuku groaned in frustration and answered the call. "H-Hey Ochaco...what's up?"

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Izuku cringed as he heard four distinct voices yelling at him simultaneously. "YOU'RE SO LATE!"

"S-Sorry about that...I kinda..." Izuku tried to come up with an excuse, gazing at All Might for any type of support. Crossing his arms over his chest, All Might simply shook his head, leaving Izuku on his own. "I ran into a bit of trouble, sorry about that. I should be at Momo's soon."

"Trouble? Are you okay?"

"No, no...just had trouble finding the ice cream you like..." Izuku lied, praying that Ochaco and the other girls would buy his lame excuse. After several moments of silence, Izuku quirked an eyebrow. "Ochaco...you still there?"

"Just hurry up and get here, and you better have my ice cream." Izuku could swear he heard giggling in the background.

"I'm on my way now, so you guys get started without me." Izuku said, ending the call and slipping the phone back into his pocket. "Man, I'm glad they didn't keep worrying why I was late."

"You definitely embarrassed, little Ochaco." All Might said with a chuckle as he transformed into his muscular form. "You'll pay for that at your study session!"

"Ugh, I can already tell she's gonna give me the silent treatment the whole time..." Izuku groaned, running his hands through his messy green hair. "Are you gonna take care of that slime villain."

"Don't worry, I'm going to drop him off at the nearest police station!" All Might said with his trademark grin as he closed the flaps to his side pockets and patted the jars. With a quick salute, All Might crouched down and launched into the air. "And remember what I said! Stay out of trouble!"

"Yeah, I got it...just one more week..." Izuku muttered, waving to All Might's retreating form, before walking over to his backpack. Digging out his bags full of snacks, Izuku pulled out the ice cream he had grabbed for Ochaco. He sighed in annoyance when he shook the container, feeling that the ice cream was mostly melted. "Damn it...I'm gonna have to make another stop before I get to Momo's."

As Izuku ran out of the park, he didn't notice that someone had been in the treeline, watching the entire event unfold. Hopping down from her vantage point on a branch, Rumi Usagiyama stepped out into the sunlight. Her blood-red eyes narrowed slightly as she tracked Izuku's every movement.

"I've been keeping tabs on that slime bastard for the past week..." Rumi growled as she crossed her arms underneath her impressive bust. "Even though I didn't catch him, it looks like I made an even better catch...I think I just found the little bastard who's been stealing all my bad guys!" A feral grin spread across Rumi's face, as a chuckle rumbled in her throat. "And from the looks of it, he seems to be awfully close with All Might...I think it's about damn time I got some answers."

(Ten Minutes Later: One Block from Momo's Home)

"Okay, I got Ochaco's ice cream, now I can finally head to the study session..." Izuku said, tucking the tub of ice cream into his backpack and dashing out of another convenience store. Running down the street a bit, it didn't take long for Izuku to spot Momo's massive house in the distance. "I should text Momo and let her knWHOA!"

Without warning, Izuku felt something ahold grab his hood and yank him into an alleyway. Izuku grunted in pain when his back was slammed into a wall. Instantly, Izuku activated One for All, prepared to fight back against his attacker. However, before Izuku could even move, he was stopped when something slammed into the wall next to his head, causing the brick to partially cave in. Slowly looking to his right, Izuku gulped when he saw that it was actually someone's foot that had destroyed the wall. Following his attacker's tanned leg, Izuku gasped when his gaze met a menacing pair of red eyes. Finally getting a good look at who had grabbed him, it only took Izuku a split-second to realize who it was.

"Oh, you're a feisty one aren't ya? But I'd slow down a bit if I were you..." Rumi Usagiyama said with a grin before she pulled her foot out of the wall, several crushed bricks falling onto the ground. "I'll have you on the ground in a second before you could even think of attacking me." Seeing that Izuku still wasn't lowering his guard, Rumi released a light sigh and lowered her leg. "You can relax kid. I'm sorry about grabbing you like that, I just wanted to talk with you."

"Y-You're the Rabbit Hero: Mirko..." Izuku breathed out, feeling some of his fanboy tendencies start to bubble up despite the situation. Reaching into his backpack, Izuku frantically began to search for something that Mirko could sign. "You're one of the top heroes in Japan! And you want to talk to me! This is totally such an honor! Hold on just a sec! Could you please sign something for me?!"

"Slow the hell down kid!" Rumi growled as she lunged forward and grabbed ahold of Izuku's shirt, yanking him closer. Feeling Rumi's large breasts squash against his chest, Izuku couldn't stop a faint blush from spreading across his face. "I didn't grab you to sign any damn autographs! You've been poaching my marks for the past three years!"

"H-Huh?!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise as he waved his arms defensively. "W-What are you talking about!?"

"That slime prick you stopped back there, I was tracking that fucker for a week! And because of you, all that time was wasted!" Rumi yelled as she groaned in frustration and shoved Izuku away. Her eyes narrowing, Rumi roughly poked Izuku's chest. "And it's not just the slime guy! This the fifteenth time you've stolen a villain from me! FIFTEEN! I started keeping track after the fourth one!"

"S-Sorry! I didn't know!" Izuku defended himself, turning his head away to avoid Rumi's piercing gaze. Despite their brief interaction, Izuku noticed that Rumi reminded him a lot of Bakugo. "I was just trying to do what's right...I didn't mean to cause you any trouble."

"Damn it...don't act like that man...you're making me feel bad." Rumi said as she released a light sigh, rubbing the back of her head. As Rumi scanned Izuku from head to toe, her rabbit-like ears twitched slightly. "I didn't notice until I got a closer look...but this guy is kinda cute..." Subconsciously, Rumi started rubbing her hand along Izuku's chest, feeling the muscles underneath his hoodie. "And holy shit...he's fucking ripped." Rumi's hand slowly moved lower, her eyes widening as she began to trace Izuku's abs. "Jesus Christ...his six-pack...it's rock hard! This kid has been training his ass off!"

"U-Uh Mirko-san...this...this feels kinda inappropriate..." Izuku stuttered out, a fierce blush spreading across his as he felt a pleasurable shiver run down his spine. He didn't want to admit it, but he was seriously enjoying Rumi's gentle touch. "At least w-wait until w-we're in some place more private."

"OH! Sorry about that!" Rumi exclaimed as she instantly drew her hand back as her cheeks tinted faint red. "Fuck...that was so embarrassing! That's never happened before!" Coughing into her fist, Rumi fought back her blush and quickly changed the subject. "Listen kid, I'm willing to forgive you for jacking a bunch of my marks, but I want you to answer a question for me first."

"W-What do you want to know?" Izuku asked, somewhat dreading whatever Rumi was going to ask him. "If it's something I know, I'd be happy to answer."

"Good answer..." Rumi said with a smirk as she slowly advanced towards Izuku. Despite his immense strength, Izuku couldn't help but feel slightly intimated by Rumi. Taking a few steps back, Izuku soon found himself pressed up against a wall once again, Rumi's face only a few inches away from his. "What's your relationship with All Might? You two looked pretty chummy back in the park." Seeing Izuku's eyes widen in shock, Rumi knew she had seriously caught him off guard. "Don't even try to deny it kid, I saw the whole thing."

"Okay...I'll tell you..." Izuku said, racking his brain to find a way to answer Rumi's question without divulging too much information about All Might and One for All. "When I was a kid, I did something really reckless...I ended up saving a friend, but I was in a terrible accident. All Might ended up saving my life...and he was impressed by how I put my life on the line to save someone else. So, after I made a recovery, he decided to help train me."

"Ah, so you're All Might's protege..." Rumi hummed as she stepped back, stroking her chin. "I guess that makes sense, your quirks seem kinda similar..." Nodding her head, Rumi crossed her arms underneath her chest. "Okay kid, I guess you're free to go, I don't have any other questions for you. Oh, and don't worry, I won't say anything about you operating without a hero license. You may have been stealing my villains, but I respect ya for jumping in and helping people the way you did."

"How do you know I don't have a hero license?" Izuku asked, quirking an eyebrow as he dusted himself off. "For all you know, I could be a hero just like you."

"Come on man, you aren't fooling anyone." Rumi chuckled as she rested her hands on her hips. "You have no costume, you're sloppy as hell during your rescues, and I know for a fact you're too young to have completed any hero courses. Just relax, your little secret is safe with me."

"Heh, I was never very good at lying..." Izuku said, releasing a light sigh as he slumped against the wall. "Thanks for not saying anything, Mirko-san."

"Drop the 'san' crap kid, and just call me Rumi...after the wild goose chase you've led me on the past three years, I think you've earned the right to call me by my actual name." Rumi said with a grin as she playfully punched Izuku in the arm. "Since you already knew my name, how about you tell me yours."

"Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya." Izuku answered with a smile, reaching out to shake Rumi's hand. When the rabbit hero gripped Izuku's hand, he winced slightly at her vice-like grip. Feeling several vibrations coming from his pocket, Izuku released Rumi's hand and dug out his phone. His eyes widened in surprise when he noticed the wall of text messages he had missed from the four girls he was supposed to meet. "It was nice meeting you Rumi, but I really have to get going! I'm super late for a study session for my U.A. University entrance exam!"

"U.A. University, huh?" Rumi muttered as she watched Izuku bolt out of the alley and skid around a corner. Pausing for a moment, Rumi appeared to be in deep thought. Suddenly her rabbit ears start twitching once again and a smirk spread across her face. "Sounds like fun."

(One Week Later: U.A. University)

"Woooow..." Izuku breathed out in wide-eyed wonder, tightly gripping the straps to his backpack as he stood before the entrance to U.A. University. "This...this is surreal. I've dreamed about this day, but I never thought I'd actually make it here." Feeling an almost overwhelming mixture of fear and excitement, Izuku slowly began to walk toward the university's entry archway. "I have to show All Might-"

"Out of the way, Deku!" An all too familiar voice growled as Izuku felt some roughly push past him. "Stop fucking lollygagging!"

"Good morning to you too, Kacchan..." Izuku grumbled, rolling his eyes as he released a light sigh. Bakugo said nothing in response, simply ignoring Izuku and walking away. "Would it kill him to be nice for once..."

"DEKU!" Izuku perked up instantly when he heard a familiar, bubbly voice call out to him. Izuku turned around to see Ochaco running towards him with a bright smile, energetically waving both of her hands. "IT'S THE BIG DAY!" Once Ochaco was only a few feet away, she suddenly launched herself towards Izuku. Wrapping her arms around his chest, Ochaco hugged Izuku tightly, using her momentum to spin them around several times. "All our studying is gonna pay off! We're gonna crush this exam!"

"Glad to see you're as optimistic as usual, Ochaco." Izuku said with a chuckle, setting Ochaco down and gently gripping her shoulders. Standing up a bit, Izuku glanced behind Ochaco to see if anyone was lagging behind her. "So, where's Mina, Kyoka, and Momo? Did they not come with you?"

"Momo and Kyoka left early, and you know how Mina is, she's probably not gonna get here until the last minute." Ochaco replied as she hugged Izuku's arm and began to tug him towards where the entry exams were being held. "Now come on, I'm sure Kyoka and Momo saved us some seats, so let's head inside and find them."

"Okay, okay, let's go." Izuku said, allowing Ochaco to pull him along. As Izuku and Ochaco passed by the other examinees, he couldn't help but notice that some of the male students were glaring at him. "I guess it makes sense, Ochaco is super cute...and she has really big..." Glancing down, Izuku felt a faint blush spread across his face when he felt Ochaco's impressive breasts press against his arm. "Assets..."

True to her word, Ochaco and Izuku found both Momo and Kyoka already waiting for them in the large auditorium where they'd be learning the rules of the exam they'd be taking. Both girls smiled and waved when they spotted both their friends, ushering them over. Ochaco was also correct about Mina barely making it on time, the pink-skinned girl showing up just five minutes before the exam was set to start. Now that he was seated in between four attractive girls, Izuku felt almost all eyes in the atrium were on him now. He could almost feel the jealousy from the other male students, causing him to shrink down a bit in his seat. However, before Izuku could be overwhelmed by the glares and murmured insults, someone stepped out onto the auditorium's stage.

"WELCOME TO TODAY'S LIVE PERFORMANCE!" A booming voice echoed throughout the entire atrium, stopping all chatter amongst the students. The man who had stepped was tall and slim with long blond hair, which he wore spiked upwards in a huge tuft behind his head, in addition to a small brown mustache. His hero costume consisted of a black leather jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He sported tan shoulder pads, a red belt, and elbow pads, all of them studded, and lastly a pair of black fingerless gloves. His neck was obscured by what appeared to be a directional speaker which was likely used with his quirk. He also wore a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband and a pair of orange-tinted shades. "LET ME HEAR YOU ALL SAY 'HEY'!" An almost defeating silence fell over the auditorium. "Well, that's cool, my examinee listeners! I'm here to present the guidelines for your practical exam! Are you ready?! YEAAAAH!"

"It's the Voice Hero: Present Mic..." Izuku gushed, suppressing his urge to pull out his notebook and start taking notes. "He's so cool in person, and his radio show is so inspirational! All the teachers at U.A. are pro heroes, so I'll get to meet so many amazing people!"

"Oi, shut your damn mouth, Deku..." Bakugo growled as he kicked the back of Izuku's chair. "It's so creepy when nerd out like this."

"Don't listen to him, Izuku." Momo said with a smile as she turned her head and shot Bakugo an annoyed glare, which caused him to flinch slightly. "The way you admire heroes is a great quality."

"Yeah, Bakugo is just a sourpuss." Mina said, sticking her tongue out at Bakugo. "Just ignore him."

"Tch, I wish Bakugo would just drop the tough asshole act..." Kyoka scoffed as her brows furrowed, crossing her arms underneath her chest. "We all know you care about Izuku, it couldn't be more obvious."

"If you bitches keep flapping your mouths-"

"Bakugo, I'd suggest you watch your tongue." Ochaco cut Bakugo off in a sickly sweet tone, her overly sweet smile sending a chill down his spine. "Or do I need to make you eat dirt again, like that time at the playground when we were kids?"

"I'd like to see you try..." Bakugo muttered underneath his breath as he backed off and sank down into his seat. "Women are freaking scary."

"Thanks, girls..." Izuku said with a smile, gazing at the four women that had stood up for him. "You didn't have to do that."

"If you five in the center there are done interrupting me, I'd like to continue!" Present Mic called out in an annoyed tone which caused Izuku and the others to all mutter embarrassed apologies. "Well, as I was saying, this test will consist of ten-minute mock cityscape maneuvers! You'll be allowed to bring along whatever you want! After this presentation, you'll all head to your randomly assigned testing locations!"

"Randomly assigned..." Mina whined, slumping forward and splaying out on the desk in front of her. "I hope we all get assigned to the same location."

"Each site will be filled with three kinds of faux villains! Points will be awarded for defeating each according to their difficulty level!" Present Mic exclaimed as he excitedly held up three fingers. "You'll need to use your quirks to disable these villains and earn points! That's your main goal, kiddos! And of course, there will be no anti-heroes in this exam! So, no attacking your fellow examinees."

"Excuse me, may I ask a question!?" A new voice yelled, stopping Present Mic before he could continue his presentation. Glancing over, Izuku spotted a young man who was relatively tall and muscular with a wide frame. He had short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head. His eyes were rather square which matched the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He had a serious expression, and his eyebrows seemed to be permanently pointed inwards, quite thin and long in length, the far ends sharply hooked inwards, and he wore glasses with rectangular lenses. "This handout I received clearly shows four varieties of faux villains! How could an establishment as prestigious as U.A. make such an error!? We're all here in hopes of being molded into excellent heroes!"

"Alright, alright! Calm down examinee 711! Thanks for catching that!" Present Mic exclaimed as he gestured for the glasses-wearing examinee to sit back down. "But that fourth faux villain type will net you zero points and is supposed to be a gimmick you avoid! There will be one of these 'zero-point' villains in each zone and they'll rampage around in close quarters!"

"Thank you for the explanation, sir!" The serious examinee called out, briefly bowing his head before he sat back down. "I apologize for my interruption!"

"That's all from me! I'll leave my listeners with our school's motto!" Present Mic yelled as he excitedly threw his hands into the air. "The great hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said...'true heroism consists of being superior to the ills of life.' PLUS ULTRA! Now everyone get out there and break a leg!"

(Ten Minutes Later: Examination Zone 7)

"Damn, this place is huge..." Izuku breathed out, rolling up the sleeves of his tracksuit jacket. "It really is like an imitation city."

"Deku! Deku!" Ochaco exclaimed as she ran up to Izuku, jumping to a stop right next to him. "Looks like we're in the same group!"

"God, why did I have to be in the same group as you..." Bakugo growled, shoving his hands into his pockets and brushing past Izuku. "Just stay the hell out of my way, Deku!"

"You seem to be quite popular, Izuku..." A familiar voice spoke up from behind the green-haired boy. Spinning around, Izuku was met by Tsuyu's large, unblinking eyes, staring right at him. "It's good to see you again."

"Tsuyu! I didn't know you were trying to get into U.A.!" Izuku said with a smile, approaching the frog-like girl. "And it's good to see you too!"

"Deku, who's this?" Ochaco asked as she gripped Izuku's shoulders and leaned to look past him. "I've never seen her before."

"Oh, this is Tsuyu Asui...and Tsuyu, this is Ochaco Uraraka." Izuku explained, stepping aside so that Ochaco could get a good look at Tsuyu. "Ochaco, I ended up saving Tsuyu and her siblings last week."

"Last week..." Ochaco parroted as her brows furrowed slightly. "Ah, so that's why you were late for our study session."

"Well, I just wanted to say hello..." Tsuyu said with a wave, before making her way towards the exam's starting point. "Good luck Izuku-chan , Ochaco-chan."

"We should get going too." Ochaco said with a grin as she patted Izuku on the back. "We've got an exam to crush!"

"You're right!" Izuku cheered, reaching out and bumping fists with Ochaco. "We're gonna kick this exam's ass!"

"I hope you're all ready!" Present Mic exclaimed as he suddenly appeared, standing on top of the gate leading into the examination area. All the examinees stared at Present Mic in confusion as the gates below him slowly began to open. "What's wrong!? The die has been cast!" All of the examinees' eyes widened when what Present Mic was saying started to sink in. "That's right! The exam has started! Run!"

"Alright, it's go time..." Izuku thought, taking a deep breath to calm himself as he watched many of the other examinees begin to panic and race towards the examination zone. Crouching down into a sprinter's stance, Izuku activated his Full Cowling, green electricity sparking off his body. Then, with a small shockwave, Izuku leaped forward, clearing all the other examinees in a single bound. "Gotta get a head start!"

"Oh, looks like examinee 616 has launched ahead of the competition!" Present Mic announced as he spectated the exam from his vantage point. A smirk spread across Present Mic's face when he noticed that Izuku was barreling towards one of the faux villains. "Looks like things are about to heat up fast!"

"I should have a good enough-" Izuku was cut off mid-sentence when a large metallic fist slammed into the ground right in front of him. Jumping backward, Izuku shielded his face from flying dust and debris. When the cloud of debris began to clear, Izuku saw that he was face-to-face with a smaller one-point faux villain. A smile spread across Izuku's face as he cracked his knuckles. "Let's get to work, 50% should do it."

In the blink of an eye, Izuku shot forward, launching himself above the faux villain. With his fist radiating raw energy, Izuku smashed clean through the robot in a single hit. However, Izuku didn't have a second to rest. Almost instantly, he had to dodge a barrage of missiles from a small mob of two-point faux villains. Displaying incredible athletic ability and amazing flexibility, Izuku managed to avoid each of the dummy missiles. Coming to a skidding stop, Izuku yanked a light post out of the ground and began to use it like a baseball bat to destroy several of the two-point robots. After stabbing the battered light post through one of the faux villains, Izuku saw that there were still at least four of them left.

"Damn...you guys don't quit..." Izuku panted as he wiped some sweat off his brow. Glancing to his right, Izuku's smile widened when he spotted a car parked on the side of the road, an idea forming in his head. "Oh yeah, I've always wanted to try this."

Darting away to avoid another volley of missiles, Izuku stopped behind the car and grabbed it by the bumper. With the muscles in his arms flexing, Izuku lifted the car up. Then performing a few spins to gain momentum, Izuku hurled the car at the faux villains. The car smashed into two of the robots, engulfing them in a violent explosion. As black smoke began to billow up, Izuku burst through it, catching the two remaining faux villains off guard. Ripping the leg off one of the robots, Izuku used it to smash the final villain.

"Okay...that's all of them...for now..." Izuku breathed out, pausing for a moment to check his watch. "There are still about seven minutes left and I have 21 points...I should go and see if other examinees need any help." Rolling his sleeves down, green electricity exploded off Izuku's body as he took off running down the street. "I hope Ochaco, Kyoka, Mina, Momo, and Tsuyu are doing well."

(Same Time: Examination Monitoring Room)

"This examinee...Izuku Midoriya...I think he's one to look out for."

"We never told them how many villains there are or where they're placed...yet he charged in an took a point lead right off the bat."

"And now he's going to 'help' other examinees?"

"What an odd boy..."

"Well, with such a wide battlefield and limited time, it'll bring out the best in these young heroes."

"We received such a wide variety of applicants this year: intelligence gatherers, mobility experts, decision-makers, and natural-born warriors."

"Oh, look at that, examinee 616 just rescued that kid with the naval laser quirk from a hidden three-pointer. He's now up to 33 points."

"I say we unleash our 'gimmick' and see what these examinees are really made of...we'll be able to see their true colors when they face its overwhelming strength."

(Back with Izuku)

"And that's 42 points..." Izuku said panting slightly as he tossed aside the broken arm of a one-point faux villain. Taking a moment to catch his breath, Izuku watched as the other examinees around him were busy taking out as many faux villains as possible, "I should try and find Ochaco and see how she's-" Izuku was cut off when the ground underneath him began to rumble. Just then, the building in front of Izuku completely collapsed and crumbled, revealing an absolutely massive faux villain. This robot dwarfed the size of all the others, easily toppling over entire buildings with one attack. "Shit...that must be one of the zero pointers..."

Izuku felt a wave of fear wash over his entire body as the zero-pointer took a step towards him, shaking the entire examination zone. Apparently, the other examinees were in a similar state, a huge crowd of them running past Izuku as they tried to get flee from the zero-pointer. Izuku was about to do the same, but he was stopped when he heard pleas for help. Whipping around, Izuku's eyes widened in shock and worry when he saw that three students were still in the zero-pointer's path. He spotted Tsuyu trying to lift a fallen light post off an orange-haired girl's arms. Then, Izuku gasped when he spotted Ochaco trapped underneath some fallen debris, struggling to free herself.

Without a moment's hesitation, Izuku sprang into action. Using 60% of One for All, Izuku felt the muscles in his legs burn and scream in pain as he rocketed forward, leaving a small crater where he had been standing. In the blink of an eye, Izuku had reached Ochaco, tossing the rubble off of her as if it weighed nothing at all. Before Ochaco could even realize what was happening, she found herself being picked up and whisked down the road, far away from the zero-pointer.

"H-Huh..." Ochaco muttered, finally getting her bearings and glancing around. When she looked up and spotted Izuku, her eyes immediately lit up. "Deku! I should have known it was you!"

"Heh, I'll be there whenever you need me, Ochaco." Izuku said with a warm smile as he gently set Ochaco down onto the ground. Glancing back, Izuku saw that Tsuyu was still struggling to free the trapped orange-haired girl. "I'll be back in a second Ochaco, you just stay here."

"Deku wait, I-" But before Ochaco could finish, Deku was already gone, dashing back towards the zero-pointer. Releasing a light sigh, Ochaco slowly got back onto her feet and dusted herself off. "Wait for me, I want to help too dang it."

"Ugh, I can't feel my damn arms! I think they're broken!" The orange-haired girl grunted out as she struggled to pull her arms free. "Are you having any luck?!"

"I'm trying!" Tsuyu struggled to say, wrapping her elongated tongue around the light post in an attempt to help lift it up. "This thing is heavier than it looks!"

"Well, you better hurry up!" The orange-haired girl screamed as she looked up, seeing one of the zero-pointer's massive legs coming towards them. "Just leave me! You won't be able-"

"SMASH!" Out of nowhere, a green streak of electricity slammed into the zero-pointer's legs, knocking it out of the way. Suddenly, Izuku landed next to the Tsuyu and the orange-haired girl. The muscle's in his left arm felt like they were being torn apart and it felt as if he had fractured several bones in his arm. He had upped One for All's power to 80% which his body wasn't able to fully handle yet. Using his right arm, Izuku lifted the light post off the orange-haired girl's arms. "Are you two okay?"

"That's twice you've saved me now, Izuku..." Tsuyu said as she stared at Izuku, cocking her head slightly. "I definitely owe you one ribbit."

"Other than my arms...I think I'm fine." The orange-haired girl grunted, slowly getting back onto her feet with Tsuyu's help. The girl was of medium height and had a rather slim build. She had teal eyes and long ginger hair that she wore tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs were also split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair stuck up in large tufts at the top of her head. "Thanks for the save...the name's Itsuka Kendo."

"Izuku Midoriya..." Izuku said with a small smile, before turning his head when he heard the zero-pointer rumbling behind them. Turning around, green electricity began to crackle around Izuku's body. "Tsuyu, you should take Itsuka to see the medical staff, her arms look pretty bad...I'll stop this thing before it can hurt any other examinees."

"Wait...did he say he'll stop that thing?" Itsuka asked in a stunned tone as she turned her head to gaze at the towering faux villain. "I know you're strong man, but there's no way you can take that robot down by yourself."

"DEKU!" An all too familiar voice screamed out, followed by the sounds of several explosions. Sighing in annoyance, Izuku turned to see Katsuki had arrived on the scene, leaving several destroyed faux villains in his wake. "What the hell are you still doing here, idiot!?"

"Kacchan, can you make sure these two get out of here safe? They're both injured and exhausted." Izuku said, gesturing towards Tsuyu and Itsuka, surprising both girls. "I have to stop this damn thing before it continues rampaging!"

"HAH!? What the hell are you on about!? I ain't about to-" Katsuki was cut off when a large blast of air pressure suddenly shot past his head. Turning around, Katsuki's eyes widened when he saw a two-point faux villain collapsing to the ground, its head completely blown apart. "When the hell did that get there?"

"Please, I don't want to argue Kacchan...so, for once in your damn life, could you just listen to me!?" Izuku exclaimed, catching Katsuki completely off guard, not used to the green-haired boy fighting back like this. Turning back around, Izuku began to sprint towards the zero-pointer, dodging one of its massive legs. "They should have medical assistance near the entrance, now go!"

"Damn Deku..." Katsuki grumbled as he jogged over and lifted Itsuka onto his back. "Hey frog-girl, can you walk?"

"I'm fine..." Tsuyu said, glancing back at Izuku, pressing a hand to her chin. "Are we really leaving Izuku alone to fight that thing?"

"It pisses me off to admit this, but Deku is right, you two need to get out of here fast and I wouldn't be able to go all out with injured people around..." Katsuki grumbled as he began to run toward the exam zone's entrance, with Tsuyu hopping right behind him. Before darting around a corner, Katsuki paused and spared one last look at Izuku. "You better not get hurt, dumbass."

"OI! Are we seriously leaving that guy behind!?" Itsuka exclaimed in a panicked tone, trying to keep track of Izuku and make sure he was okay. "Hey! Listen to me damn it!"

Seeing that Tsuyu and Itsuka were out of danger, Izuku breathed a sigh of relief and turned his full attention toward the zero-point faux villain. Crouching down, Izuku launched himself into the air, his legs screaming at him in pain. The wind rushed past Izuku as he shot into the air above the zero-pointer.

"80% wasn't enough to destroy this thing's leg...I'll have to go all out!" Izuku thought, before rapidly descending towards the faux villain's head. Gritting his teeth, Izuku cocked his right arm back, 100% of One for All's power flowing through it, causing his sleeve to burst apart. Izuku's arm pulsed and began to glow vibrantly as all of One for All's power poured into it. With his adrenaline pumping and heart thundering in his chest, Izuku's fist rocketed forward. "DETROIT SMASH!"

With a thunderous boom, Izuku's fist smashed into the zero-pointer's head. Izuku watched in awe as a large shockwave surged out, the faux villain's head completely caving in. After taking a few wobbling steps, the zero-pointer collapsed to the ground, destroying several buildings as it did. However, Izuku's amazement was short-lived, as he soon realized that he still several stories above the ground, and rapidly descending towards it.

"OH SHIT! I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT HOW I'D LAND!" Izuku screamed as he fell toward the ground, the wind stinging his face. Feeling a massive wave of pain radiating from his right arm, Izuku looked back and saw that it was discolored and completely shattered. Moving his left arm, Izuku hissed as pain shot through it. "If I use Delaware Smash when I'm close enough to the ground, the shockwave may slow me down!" Gritting his teeth, Izuku made a flicking motion gesture with his left arm, seeing that he was only about 20 feet above the ground. "I've only got one-"

"GOT YOU!" Izuku was stopped when he felt something smack his face, moments before his entire body felt weightless. Then, Izuku noticed that he was slowly floating upward. Managing to flip himself around, Izuku's eyes widened in surprise when he saw Ochaco floating next to him on a piece of debris. "I wish you'd let me help you next time!" Taking a deep breath, Ochaco pressed her fingertips together. "Release!"

With dull thuds, both Izuku and Ochaco crashed onto the ground. It may not have been the softest landing, but at least they were both safe. Grunting in exertion, Izuku slowly stood up on wobbly legs, his entire body aching. Hearing the sounds of someone dry-heaving, Izuku turned around and saw that Ochaco was slumped over a piece of debris. Her shoulders were shaking as she finally vomited, unable to hold back the side-effect of her quirk any longer. Chuckling lightly, Izuku made his way over to Ochaco's side.

"There, there...let it all out..." Izuku said in a soothing tone, gently rubbing Ochaco's back and making sure her hair was out of her face. "Thanks for having my back, Ochaco."

"Any...time..." Ochaco said in a weak tone as she finally straightened up, using her sleeve to wipe her mouth. "God, I hate my quirk sometimes..." Scanning the area, Ochaco saw that there were still a few one-point faux villains scattered around. "Should we try to score a few more points?"

"THAT'S IT!" Present Mic's voice echoed through the exam area. "IT'S ALL OVER!"

"Ugh, never mind..." Ochaco groaned, leaning against Izuku for support. "Let's just get out of here."

"My, oh my, look at you two..." A sweet voice spoke up from behind Izuku and Ochaco. Turning around, Izuku smiled when he saw the caring face of Recovery girl, passing out healing gummies to each student she passed. "My goodness Izuku dear, what did you do to yourself this time?"

"Heh, sorry Recovery Girl, I kinda went overboard." Izuku said as he guided Ochaco over towards a portion of a destroyed robot, sitting them both down. When Recovery Girl followed them over, Izuku showed her his right arm. "I busted my arm up real bad."

"Here dearie, this will make you feel better..." Recovery Girl said, handing Ochaco a handful of gummies, which she happily ate in one go. When Recovery Girl turned her attention to Izuku, she frowned when she saw his battered arm. "Goodness me, I haven't seen you injured like this in quite a while." Tapping Izuku's legs with her cane, Recovery Girl frowned when she saw him wince in pain. "And it looks like the rest of your body took a beating as well."

"Well, my body still can't really stand using over 60% of my power...I can go up to 70% but it hurts a lot..." Izuku said as he stared down at his left hand, clenching it in an attempt to stop it from shaking. "Looks like I still have a long way to go."

"Always so serious..." Recovery Girl said with a small smile before her lips stretched out and kissed both of Izuku's arms and legs. After glowing briefly, Izuku breathed a sigh of relief as felt his injuries start to fade away. "I'm going to check on the other students, you two just relax for a bit."

"Okay, thanks Recovery Girl!" Izuku cheered with a bright smile, waving to the elderly hero. "So, how'd you do Ochaco?"

"32 points I think?" Ochaco replied as she rested her head against Izuku's shoulder, her cheeks puffing out a bit. "I would have had more if I didn't run into that stupid zero-pointer. How about you, Deku?"

"43 points." Izuku answered with a triumphant smirk, earning him a playful flick on the nose from Ochaco. Chuckling as he rubbed his nose, Izuku stood up and offered Ochaco his hand. "Come on, let's find Kyoka, Mina, and Momo. I'm sure they're eager to hear how our exam went."

"Oh! We should all go out and get something to eat! I'm starved!" Ochaco said in her usual bubbly tone, her exhaustion instantly fading away as she took Izuku's hand and hopped onto her feet. "And we should see if Tsuyu wants to join us too!"

"Sounds like a plan." Izuku said with a smile as he spotted Katsuki out of the corner of his eye. "Actually Ochaco, why don't you go on ahead? I'll meet you guys at the entrance."

"Huh? What are you-" Ochaco stopped herself when she saw that Izuku was looking at Bakugo. Putting two-and-two together, Ochaco nodded her head. "Okay! Don't take too long!"

"I'll see you all in a bit!" Izuku called out, waving to Ochaco as she jogged away. Once Ochaco was out of sight, Izuku released a light sigh and made his way over toward where Katsuki was. "Kacchan."

"What do you want, damn nerd?" Katsuki asked, his tone full of less spite and venom than usual. Taking a long drink from a bottle of water, Katsuki glared at Izuku. "I don't want you bothering me right now."

"I...I just wanted to say thank you...for getting Tsuyu and Itsuka away from that zero-pointer..." Izuku said, feeling his old nervous demeanor coming out a bit. "I know we don't always get along Kacchan...but I do think we can work well together..."

"Tch, like I'd ever want to work with you." Katsuki spat as he tossed away his water bottle and shoved his hands into his pockets. Despite Katsuki's harsh words, Izuku couldn't help the faint smile that spread across his face. Katsuki's insults didn't have their usual edge and he seemed to be holding himself back. It wasn't much, but Izuku considered that to be progress, if only a little. "You'd just slow me down."

"You say that now Kacchan, but soon you'll be the one trying to catch up with me." Izuku said with a smirk, causing a growl to rumble in Katsuki's throat as he tightly clenched his fists. "I'll see you later, Kacchan."

"Hold on a damn second, Deku...I gotta know one thing before you go..." Katsuki called out which caused Izuku to stop in his tracks and quirk an eyebrow. "How many points did you get in the exam?"

"43." Izuku replied without any hesitation, already knowing where this conversation was going. "How about you?"

"77." Katsuki answered with a toothy grin as he turned his back to Izuku and began to walk away. "Looks like you haven't caught up to me yet, Deku."

"Yeah, I still have a ways to go..." Izuku muttered with a small smile, watching as Katsuki disappeared into a crowd of students. Feeling some vibrations from his pocket, Izuku pulled out his phone, seeing that he had received a text from Ochaco. Opening up the message, Izuku smiled when he saw that it was a photo of Ochaco, Kyoka, Mina, Momo, and Tsuyu all standing at the gate, all of them smiling and seemingly waiting for him to arrive. Sending a quick reply, Izuku slipped the phone back into his pocket. "Well, I better get going, I don't want to keep those girls waiting any longer."
